Father’s message given at the banquet table Divine lounge in Samsonville, Ulster County, N.Y. on Saturday, August 20, 1938 at 1:20 p.m.

             While the listeners were still considering the Wonderful Messages that had just been delivered by FATHER and while waiting in anticipation for what was to come afterwards, Mother sang a little well-known composition, ‘Father is the LIGHT of the world,’ and it was directly after this song that out Sweet Lord arose again to impart another Message to us.

            Words cannot express our appreciation and our thankfulness to FATHER for bestowing upon all humanity, His limitless and infinite blessing, that all may benefit thereby.  In order that mankind universally might receive that which we daily receive and that which we are now receiving, these Messages are herein recorded.

(The foregoing statements are those of the transcriber, after which FATHER speaks as follows:)

PEACE, EVERYONE:  Here we all are again; there I sit and stand, the same as I have always been, even so I AM.  I have arisen at this instance to say, as in consideration I draw you together to cause you to consider the significance of ignorance; the significance of illiteracy; the significance of the nothingness of yourselves as individuals; such as you have been expressing; but yet I am causing you to be in this last time, SUPER-INTELLIGENT!

While listening to the song Mother just sang, I thought for consideration:  I have met intelligent people who have thought and considered the ignorance of My followers and the illiteracy of Myself as a Person and others with whom I am connected.  I rejoice in it; for ‘man’s extremity is GOD’S Opportunity’; while yet when GOD has an opportunity for expression, His Love and His Mercy will teach you Wisdom and will lift you where you had fallen—from whence you had fallen, and will establish your going in the Land of the Living.  That is the mystery!

For this cause we are rejoicing at being a ‘lunatic’ according to the versions of men; rejoicing at being extremiated from the first step of expression; for ‘GOD taketh away the first that He might establish the second’ anyway.  So, you are just as well to be extremiated in the beginning, that GOD might teach you Wisdom from the Fount of His Own Omniscience.

If you are not extremiated when GOD takes away the first, without your receiving the second by inspiration from GOD’S Omniscience, you will almost be a lunatic, you will be so ignorant. [Read more…]

            The great essential of harmonizing with GOD in every thought, word, gesture and deed, was stressed by our OMNIPOTENT KING, FATHER DIVINE, in His dynamic Message given on the above date.

            While it is not always possible for us to ascend spiritually to be with Him at all times, because we have not yet attained the highest degree of unfoldment, it behooves us to harmonize as far as we can, according to the plane on which we are functioning.

WE THANK YOU, FATHER.

PEACE, EVERYONE!

Here we all are again, whatsoever that means.  As much as you are, even that much you should be one with Me and permit Me to be One with you so far as you go.  If out of the category of your existence or your measure, I stand or I go, naturally, you could not be one with Me there, out of your category, out of the world in which you are existing; but as far as you can, permit Me to be one with you that you might be one with Me.

It is evidently known, according to the divers degrees of unfoldment, all may not be functioning in the same degree; therefore, if it happens to be I AM functioning in a different degree, where you are not actually functioning, naturally, you cannot be with Me there.  But as much as you are and as far as you go, permit Me to be one with you, that you might be one with Me for the REDEMPTION of your soul.

This thought I have risen to convey as the last speaker said, I repeat, I say, the time has truly come, criticism, accusation and the expression of ignoring shall be brought to an end, or else I will not be with you, for I will not any longer be in them.

Oh, it is privilege to observe the mystery and to see the downfall of Korah — how that spirit in a degree of unfoldment criticized the very Life in which it exercised.  The reaction and reiteration of such criticism by reincarnation has been imposed upon you.  When you are the partakers of the nature and characteristics of others, their disposition and characteristics you are reproducers of by harmonizing with such as may be exemplified from time to time.

Then I say, “It is good to be here!  It is good to be here with GOD!”  Truly might have one declared by composition, yea, as it came by inspiration:

                        “Where is the blessedness I knew

                          When first I saw the LORD?

                          Where is that soul so fresh in view,”

                          it said. 

                        “Of Jesus and His Love?”

 

When you see yourself declining and deviating and deteriorating and again degenerating, you may know you are going down to perdition, a complete separation from your LORD and your SAVIOR, the REDEEMER of all humanity.

Then I say, it is well worth considering.  Stop and consider it!  It may look like foolishness, but harmonization with My Spirit and My Presence, yea, My Activities, may give you a ride — I mean personally.  It may cause you to have the privilege to go some place personally as a physical personal enjoyment.  These vibrations that I AM sending out in this environment from My own Tabernacle, they will contact you as they pass through the ether, if you are in perfect harmony with Me.  These vibrations, if you are in harmony with Me, regardless to how the false pretenders and the critics and accusers, and what they may do; regardless to how they fall by trying to imitate the Spirit, the Holy Ghost of GOD; if you allow these, My Spiritual vibrations and emotions to have free access in you, they will permeate and penetrate and transcend, yea, they will transcend your whole system and drive out all aches and pains that are physically experienced in your physical body.                         I know YOU are GOD, I know YOU are GOD,

                        I Know, I know YOU are GOD!

                        Down in this heart.  I know YOU are GOD,

                        I know, I know YOU are GOD!

                        YOU healed this body, and changed this mind,

                         That’s why I know YOU are GOD!

                        Down in this heart, I know YOU are GOD.

                        I know, I know YOU are GOD!

(Father speaks as follows:)

 

PEACE, EVERYONE!  GOOD HEALTH, GOOD WILL and a GOOD APPETITE!  GOOD MANNERS, GOOD BEHAVIOUR, ALL SUCCESS and ALL PROSPERITY!  LIFE,LIBERTYand the REALITY of HAPPINESS!  ALL WISDON, ALL KNOWLEDGE and ALL UNDERSTANDING, and the KNOWLEDGE that gives LIFE ETERNAL, for

“It is eternal Life,” CHRIST declared,

                          to know THEE, said he “the only true

                          GOD, and JESUS CHRIST Whom THOU

                          hast sent.”

It is a privilege to realize GOD is in the midst of you and you know, you know you have declared and millions of others the universe over, I heard them say and I heard you sing,

                          “I KNOW YOU ARE GOD!”

                          “It is Eternal Life to know THEE,” said he, “THE

                          ONLY TRUE GOD and JESUS CHRIST Whom

                          THOU  has sent.”

It is a privilege to line in such a recognition, and under such a conviction you will have Peace and Rest with blessed assurance and you can say as you have sung, I KNOW YOU ARE GOD!  IT IS A BLESSING TO BELIEVE, BUT UTUSLIFE ETERNAL TO KNOW GOD ARIGHT!  Aren’t you glad!  (“So glad, LORD!” exclaimed the masses.)  You first hear and then believe, and after you believe and learn of HIM and find out WHO HE IS, why then, you KNOW HIM as HE IS!  And to KNOW GOD ARIGHT IS LIFE ETERNAL!

To believe externally, in other words, mentally, it is a blessing to believe, but it is LIFE ETERNAL to KNOW, but just to believe theoretically and intellectually and even scientifically, it is not sufficient!  When you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth, just like you get something you have committed to memory and have reiterated it by heart!  “I know this or that by heart and not just by the head!”  It is a part of you and you are a part of it as you live it and express it when it is in the heart!  By believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth, thou shalt be saved!  If you just believe in your head and not in your heart, you may not be saved, but keep on believing, believing and believing until you can get it in the heart, believing sincerely and then learn of ME, as I said,

                          “Take MY yoke upon you and learn of

                          ME, for MY yoke is easy and MY bur-

                          den is light and thou shalt find rest for

                          thy soul.”

To learn of ME is to learn of ME internally, mentally and spiritually.  To lean of ME effectively is to believe sincerely, spiritually and mentally until you get it in the heart and when the BELIEF is sustained in the heart and you are unshaken in confidence, HE THAT BELIEVETH IN HIS HEART AND CONFESSETH WITH HIS MOUTH, HE SHALL BE SAVED!

“The Slave Labor Wage Scale Has Inflicted All Under-privileged People”  – Father Divine

            During the Holy Communion Service, a secretary read a significant Office Talk from the latest issue of The NEW DAY of Saturday, August 11, 1951 A.D.F.D., on page eight, captioned: RESTITUTION TO THE OPPRESSED AND DOWNTRODDEN BY THE GOVERNMENT.”

Truly, ONLY GOD ALMIGHTY could uncover such injustices and bring to judgment every unjust act that has been inflicted upon the children of men of the under-privileged and nonprivileged, and mete out to them EQUITY and JUSTICE, as declared in the Scripture:

“I shall reward every man according as his works may be!”

Therefore, history shall repeat itself, as Zacchaeus, a tax collector or receiver of taxes in the days of Jesus declared; as it is recorded in Saint Luke 19:2-10. [Read more…]
