The CHRIST is All-in-All

FATHER DIVINE said: “Hold everything from an impersonal standpoint of view. Do not see it as a personal thing; then it can never leave you. I told MOTHER years ago that I could never leave Her if She held ME in an impersonal point of view, and She has looked upon ME in that way. She has never beheld ME as a Person and I never approach Her as a person. You call upon ME to come and do something for you with MY hands, but you do not see me from a Personal point of view. Hold this attitude and let anything pass away from a personal standpoint of view and you would be undisturbed, for CHRIST is All in all. CHRIST is all of those things for you. HE is your father, your mother, your sister, your brother; HE is all of those things and whatever you may claim.

“If the outward expression passes away, you have only lost a graven image and when you have lost the idol you have had in your consciousness, the Ideal remains and will produce something better, because HE did away with the first to establish the second, and he always did keep the best for the last.

In referring to human parentage today, FATHER made a point that HE had made before, namely, that our so-called human parents were GOD HIMSELF, who had taken on a form to satisfy mortal mind and care for us until we were able to take care of ourselves. HE added the following, however:

“I have often said that the animal kingdom came nearer to expressing GOD’S Love in this respect, than mankind. It is true, that the love of family and love of one’s own, are GOD manifesting on the human and animal plane, in order to provide the love and protection necessary for the little ones until they can take care of themselves. But in the animal kingdom the mother is a mother to her little ones, only until they are able to go out for themselves and after that time the relationship ceases and the young ones go out and do likewise. But in the human kingdom, the mother-love tries to hang onto the children and call them ‘my’ children after they are grown up and even when they are as old as fifty and sixty.

“Yes the whole nation has robbed the LORD.’ GOD loaned you that love for you to protect those little ones until they were able to protect themselves and then HE intended for you to return that love back to GOD whence it came. GOD loaned you those so-called children. GOD loaned you all that you supposedly have.”

The Importance of Reading FATHER’s Words

“Here we all are again, and yet it is the very same time, since time and Eternity has no end… I have arisen to say it is good to be here, and it occurred to ME as it occurs to ME quite often, WORDS I SPEAK, THEY ARE SPIRIT AND LIFE.

“If you as co-workers, followers and friends, as being termed children, would but take cognizance of MY WORD and READ and READ and READ, just as I say, MY WORDS are SPIRIT and LIFE. They can be reproduced if you want some for yourselves and can go forth in your likeness and in your personality or individuality, in your expression and deemed as yours to those who do not know them.

“But the WORDS I Speak, they are SPIRIT and LIFE, and long since you did say by a… prayer you prayed: ‘Give us this day our daily bread.’ You have daily BREAD given, and if you will but read them, read it and perceive the idea concerning every Mystery and conceive the SPIRIT of MY PRESENCE with the conscious sincere conviction, I will reproduce the SPIRIT and the MEANING of such within and you will see and know definitely the WORDS I Speak, they are SPIRIT and LIFE for the children of men.

“I think of it quite often: because of MY daily giving you daily bread, it may cause you to be a little slothful and unconcerned about reading the WORD, but I LIVE BY MY WORDS! I DELIGHT IN HEARING MY WORD READ! IT GIVES LIFE, IT GIVES COURAGE AND ZEAL AND DETERMINATION, and it keeps you in the CONSCIOUS RECOGNITION and the REALIZATION of MY ACTUAL PRESENCE!

“As said the Message of nineteen hundred years ago, ‘This do in remembrance of ME until I return.’

“The returning to you again will not prevent nor prohibit you from doing and continuing in the FAITH that was once delivered to the SAINTS.”

Dr. Carleton Mabee on the Catalyzing Importance of FATHER DIVINE

At Century House Historical Society in Rosendale, NY, 20 Sept 2009, Pulitzer Prize-winning historian, Dr. Carleton Mabee, said:

“I’d like to summarize in a few words the history of the civil rights movement in a way that oversimplifies the role of Father Divine in it, oversimplifies the whole thing, but it still makes a point: Father Divine proved that interracial living was possible. So, Rosa Parks sat in front of a bus and she wouldn’t move when she was asked to go to the back; so, Martin Luther King gave his ‘I have a dream’ speech in Washington; so, Barack Obama was elected President of the United States. There it is in a few words…”

“And MOTHER DIVINE, as She is known to be, shall be called Blessed by all nations of the earth. …So then I say… the Virginity and the Virtue of MOTHER DIVINE, it is to be revered and admired. Not only so, but to be visualized and reproduced and materialized; for that which She has brought to fruition is your privilege to be partakers of the same, for as She said, “Love is not confined nor bound to a personality, it is not confined nor bound to an individuality.” I am teaching and have taught MY Spotless Virgin Bride how to transcend personality and individuality and revel in the glorious liberty of the reality of GOD ALMIGHTY, with victory over all materialization and over all mortality. I often think of how some have said, “What is going to become of you all when FATHER DIVINE goes?” Since I am Omnipresent and Ever-Present, I have nowhere to go.”

Honoring a Perfect Life

Peace, Everyone.

FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE blessed us with a day beautiful in all ways to honor MOTHER at Woodmont on Thursday, March 9, and They saw to each and every detail in the most wonderful ways. We enjoyed warm, springlike conditions and hundreds of people came to share in this joyful celebration of a Perfect Life. There were many expressions of respect, love, generosity, and compassion, and the Woodmont Family is grateful for each and every one. There was and remains an extra measure of Peace, Love and Grace filling the hearts of FATHER and MOTHER’s Family and Friends, and pervading Woodmont. Truly a blessed, exceptional time. On the following day, FATHER lovingly spread a blanket of snow over the estate, reminding us of MOTHER’s Purity and Virtue, and of the perfect timing and Divine arrangements that have prevailed since MOTHER made Her Transition.

FATHER and MOTHER are present always, with or without a physical person, and are now even more fully accessible to each and all. FATHER said again and again that He took on the Body only to give us the significance of GOD’s Actual Presence, and He reminded us again and again that in His Truest Eternal State, GOD is INFINITE, Universal, and beyond the Holy Bodies and Personalities that He uses age after age to remind us Who He is and Where we each and all come from. As with Jesus Christ or the Buddha, so with FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE. Their Legacy has only begun to unfold. They are like windows through which we can see the Heaven State of Consciousness, for They embody it and live it out to Perfection. They are mirrors in which we can behold our True Identity as Daughters and Sons of GOD. We can still meet FATHER and MOTHER for the first time, and we can still know Them, grow in Their love, and live our days in Their Sacred Presence, illumined by Their Teachings and Their Example. While there is a time and season for all things under the sun, in the Changeless Divine, nothing essential has changed or ever will.
