GOD is here in HIS HOLY Tabernacle and HE is making all things clear.  HE is leading the people as no man can!  HE is riding the minds of men and teaching all, the way to inherit theKingdomofGODand HIS Righteousness here on earth!  Therefore, heed HIM as HE Speaks in Meekness, for GOD shall not always strive with man!

BLESSED LORD OF ALL CREATION, WE TRULY THANK THEE!

(The foregoing statements are those of the transcriber, after which FATHER speaks as follows:)

PEACE, EVERYONE:  Here we all are again, there I sit and stand.  In the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose among you I AM, unifying the children of men in that great Atone-ment,  bringing all up to that great Atonement to which sacrifices and from whence sacrifices are made and offered up to the LORD!  And when I say, “Here we all are and there I AM; there I sit and here you stand,” I speak as I have spoken by inspiration saying, “Christ is Rich and all you need!”

Again you have heard by inspiration, speaking for some degree of unfoldment as exemplified among you, “Christ is everything to me!”  By inspiration you heard someone sing,

“He is my Father, my Mother,

              My Sister, my Brother,

              He is everything to me.”

It is a privilege to realize, as you stand so can it be according to the way the things you see and according to the things you see directly and indirectly.  I recall about ten or twelve years ago―no doubt the last speaker remembers ― Walter Lanyon published a book called, “It is Wonderful!”  Before he published this book he came to ME, after which he went abroad and published this book, “It is Wonderful!” He caught some sketches of a reflection of some of MY Messages.  By excerpts he wrote in this book, “It is Wonderful!” some of MY Statements and some of MY Mottos, and even though I had refused to write and for many years I refused to have a picture taken, for many many long years; because I desired to transmit the Truth to the pilgrim traveler and to the seeker by the Spirit, so that they might not see ME Personally, neither observe anything according to the flesh!

For many, many years, I refused to even so much as write a letter, and denied MYSELF of all would-be friends by correspondence of communication, and endeavored to convey MY Message to the children of men by the Spirit through the Spirit conveyance and through mental telepathy, that they might be resurrected by MY Spirit and not according to the flesh.

            The First Picture of FATHER

After these many years there were, from time to time, those who were malicious and prejudiced to the Truth.  They thought or sought to pervert ME, MY Work and MY Mission by writing concerning ME and publishing distorted pictures that they said were MINE.  In nineteen thirty-two, after the verdict, I through MY Condescension, decided to have a picture made of MINE―of ME, whichever, to give the people first-hand information of MY Physical or Personal Likeness and Appearance, that they might see and know, the perversion of men as they had perverted ME in words, in deeds and in actions by expression, were the distortion of their minds and the thoughts of their minds, the way they had depicted ME and desired to cause others to think the same concerning ME.  I gave MY Picture to the world at that time, and from thence until recent years.

But the first picture that was given, actually given to the world, and I actually relaxed and decided to pose for the picture in Washington― and did it.  And after that time MY picture went forth in the land, but not until then at MY consent, because I desired to get everybody to see ME not as ME but as HE Whom millions say I AM!  (“GOD Almighty!” shouted the adoring audience in one voice.)

For this cause I would not correspond through the mail and abstained from all Personal correspondence with the people for a long time.  Of course, when I gave MY Picture to the world I had been corresponding for a number of years as far as writing letters and giving out books anonymously, and endeavored not to throw a stone but to drop bread down the chimney and hide MYSELF and not let them see who did it― to let the people consider, as the woman did concerning the bread when she was hungry― think GOD did it!  Hence, I gave the bread anonymously and would not reveal MYSELF thereafter in a great measure.  I gave books of every description that had an advanced light of spiritual understanding, to give the people the bread and let them think GOD gave it to them from heaven―and so I did.  Aren’t you glad!  But until now I have endeavored to convey the Truth as it is.

Publication of The Message

Nevertheless, through the criticism and opposition of the public press, I decided to give MY Word verbatim directly as I gave it MYSELF Personally in more recent years.  I began to give MY Word to those of the publications that would carry MY Message verbatim and would carry enough of it to convey some truth to the masses or to the general public.  And of course, even before I did that, in all of MY Teaching it was the Doctrine that I AM presently teaching ―if not in Words, in Deeds and in Actions and in the Spirit and the Mission of the Commission!  Oh, how glorious it is to observe it, for it is the same!  Hence, MY Message was conveyed.

After I released MY Message to the press, because of the perversion that had been made of it and men perverted the Truth and endeavored to pervert MY Personal Appearance, MY Words, MY Illustrations and especially MY Diction at times, I decided to give the world just what they wanted (Aren’t you glad!); because I knew as I know, “Christ is rich and all you need; can and will your every hunger feed,” intellectually, socially, mentally, spiritually and financially and from every angle expressible, because Christ is all there is!

But in MY Teaching and emphasizing the fact that these are truths that cannot be overlooked, something else most important is to be considered concerning the mystery of which I AM speaking, of the Doctrine and the Doctrines I Am teaching.  As I said in the proofreading―in that Message as proofread, whichever, in the interview, after I returned from the city about four o’clock, in MY Office Tea Room, Sunday evening, or Monday morning, whichever―when a person represents the people of the state or the people of the nation, that person cannot represent the people of the state and be a real official for government―whether it is city, state or federal government―so long as he has something else to represent!

Inspiration for Representatives of the People

If that person is representing races, creeds or colors; if that person is representing groups, organizations or lineages, even his own lineage, it is a matter of impossibility for him to get the true inspiration from the Omniscient One and the Omnipotent to carry out the Plan of a real American citizen and servant of the children of men!

We want representatives in the House of Representatives; we want senators in the Senate; we want councilmen in the City Hall and commissioners therein; we want mayors in our respective cities and towns where mayors are elected to fill such office; but we want those who are willing and ready to represent the people and not represent races, creeds or colors, neither represent partisan parties!

We want those who will represent the people of whatsoever vicinity or whatsoever position they are filling that they are selected and elected to represent.  They cannot represent the government efficiently and they cannot be proficient in their duty unless they represent unselfishly and unbiasedly and bring an abolition to races, groups, organizations, partisanism and all denominations and colors, and represent the people wholeheartedly with which they are connected!

Naturally some would say and some have said they would like to have ME in Congress as a Congressman of theUnited States.  Some would like to have ME as a Congressman of the state or states in which they live and reside.  Some would like to have ME as the President of theUnited Statesto represent their group or their race, their cursed color or complexion, their cursed division―for it is division; for it is cursed by nature!  Whatsoever it may be, if it is a division it is CURSED, for

“Where there is division there is strife!”

Represent What You Are Representing in Its Entirety

I did not come to represent any such expression and could not represent such an expression if I represent Democracy!  If I represent the people I could not represent groups, organizations and colors!  In whatsoever field you function, you should represent that in its entirety if it would be a field of politics, religion, science or invention.

You should represent, not a person, not a race, not a creed, not a color, not a family or no other division, but represent the people, in all sincerity wholeheartedly, and be conscientious in your endeavor.   Then you can take on the Spirit and the nature and the mind of your Savior!  Until then, when you have a spirit, as the last speaker mentioned, you may have a spirit but it can be the spirit of men and not the Spirit of GOD― the spirit of tradition!   Aren’t you glad!

Paul, when he would to do good, he found himself a wretch undone―  “O wretched man,” he declared, “. . . that I am.  Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?”  Paul was bound by tradition and orthodoxy.  It was a dead man!  And to prove that it was tradition and orthodoxy―when he sought deliverance diligently in all conscientiousness and sincerity.

“Who shall deliver me from the body of this death?”

said he; he found himself marching on to the inlet of economic and to spiritual prosperity in the eighth chapter of Romans, when he declared by his own spiritual awakening and his own Conviction!

“There is therefore now no condemnation

                          to them that are in Christ Jesus, who

                          walk not after the flesh . . .”

(He had been walking after the flesh, had he not?)

“but after the Spirit, for the law of the

                          Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made

                          me free from the law of sin and death.”

In the Flesh Men Cannot Please GOD

Orthodox and tradition, racialism and lineage ―I made him free from the law of sin and death.  Aren’t you glad!  For the law ―

“For they that are in the flesh cannot

                          please GOD.  But you are not in the flesh

                          but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit

                          of Jesus dwells in you.  And if the Spirit

                          of Christ dwells in you, the Spirit of

                          him that raised up Christ from the dead

                          shall also quicken your mortal bodies,

                          by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”

Then he is traveling on, leaving the Principles of the Doctrine of Christ behind, pressing on toward the mark of a higher calling in GOD!  (Aren’t you glad!)  Traveling on to victory mentally and spiritually, economically, politically, socially and from every other angle expressible ―for GOD will give you in this advanced light of spiritual civilization your real emancipation, and not a limited emancipation but a universal and thence an infinite emancipation! ―no longer bound to tradition, orthodoxy, no longer bound to lineage, no longer bound to races, creeds and colors, for

“They that are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Then I say, if we live in the recognition and the realization of Christ you will put off the old man with all of his deeds and you will put on the new man, Christ Jesus, in Whom ye should live.  And if you expect to be partakers of the blessings of GOD you must also suffer with HIM withal.  Aren’t you glad!

Jesus Denied Lineage to Do the Will of GOD

These blessings do not come by the way of races, creeds and colors; they do not come by the way of lineage, even if it is a good one.  To prove that it does not come by the way of lineage, if it is a good one expressing virginity, even as the lineage with which Jesus was supposedly connected, such as lineage that expressed the perfection of virtue―virginity―yet such a lineage Christ denied that He might do the Will of His FATHER, GOD!

I did not just say this.  In the book, “It is Wonderful!”―having read a little of it yesterday for the first time―especially the quotations on the subject―I did not have time to read it;  I had something else to think about―Walter Lanyon wrote some points or some of MY Statements, Quotations and Assertions, it is true; but as it is written,

“Leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ behind . . .”

as a rule I do not read what I said last week this week when we get The New Day!

I heard you say traditionally,

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

I have endeavored to give you daily bread, but if it is necessary to stay in the old scene of things and you do not learn your lesson in the catechism, why, you need to stay in that class until you learn it.  Aren’t you glad!

So it is a privilege to live in the Actual Presence of GOD!  But there are so many who are not willing to make such a surrender because of races, creeds and colors and lineage!  Even for the Holiness of Jesus and the Virginity of Mary they are not willing to make a sacrifice of mortality to come into possession of a rightful inheritance that MY Spirit is giving birth to now.

Not by the Will of Man, of the Blood or of the Flesh

This could not be here by the will of man.  Just this dining room would not be here by the will of man.  It could not be here by the will of the blood, neither by the will of the flesh.  Can you not see the mystery?  And I would not and could not reach out and reach your conditions by the will of the mortal version.  But by MY Spirit, by the Universal Mind Substance, by Divine Nature and by the Divine Spirit I reach the nations and I serve them with something that will emancipate them.  But they cannot get away from mortality so ling as they live in mortality and endorse and encourage and worship mortality!

GOD is a FATHER for the fatherless; HE is not your FATHER if you have one!  GOD is a HUSBAND for the widow; HE is not your HUSBAND if you have one.  GOD did not come to take away from men that which is rightfully due them and that which they have.  That is why it reads that way,

“God is a father for the fatherless

                          and a husband to the widowed.”

If you have a father, why, GOD does not want to be your FATHER because GOD is not a robber!  If you have a wife, GOD does not want to be your Wife because GOD will not take that which is rightfully due you away from you!  You can have it; have all you want!  Christ came to seek and to save that which was lost!

The physician is not for the whole but for the sick.  If you are not sick you do not need a physician.  It is a hard saying but yet it is true.  And Christ is not a well person’s physician; He is the one’s Physician who needs Him!  Can you not see the mystery?  That is why these sit around ME as they do, because they have no father, I mean, those who are true and faithful―they call ME FATHER because they have no father but GOD!  Can you not see the mystery?

GOD Will Be to People What They Have Lost

The average person, even in mortal consciousness, if that woman or man is true and faithful, when they become to be widowed or widower-ed, there and then they begin to be successful and prosperous, for they are widows and widowers indeed―because GOD will be to them just what they have lost.  Whatsoever they have lost, why then, GOD is that for them!  But as long as they have one, GOD does not have to be One.  Aren’t you glad!

So it is a wonderful thought and a wonderful blessing to know the Truth.  The Truth will set you free.

How can people expect to inherit theKingdomofGODand all of its grandeurs, with all of the Abundance of the Fullness, if they are not willing to surrender what they have in the nothingness of nothing for the Allness of the Almighty?

“What will a man give in exchange for his soul?”

Can you not see the Nature of GOD as exemplified in Jesus the Son whilst He was speaking to the children of men nineteen hundred years ago?

“What will a man give in exchange for his soul?” ―or

“What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world

and loses his own soul?”

That is the question!

Then I said in the fourteenth chapter of Saint Luke:

“Except you hate your wife and your

                          children, your houses and your land,

                          your mother and your father and all

                          you have, you cannot be my disciple.”

These words are applicable and operative and as active today as they were when He said it!― the same today, yesterday and forever with or without a Body!  The Mouth of GOD has declared it and redeclares the same over and over again, even until this world shall have no end!  Amen!

Our Father’s sermon given whilst at the holy communion table of the Nazareth Mission Church, Home and Training School, Inc. of Pennsylvania 1600-1614 Oxford street Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Friday eve. & Saturday morning of May 16-17, 1952 at 1:05 a.m.

This truly beautiful and profound Sermon came forth from the SAVIOR of ALL MANKIND shortly after the testimony of one of the Followers, Mr. John Wesley by name, who brought forth many important thoughts to be considered as to the depth and breadth of FATHER’S wonderful Work in tangible form, and for the UPLIFT of HUMANITY in GENERAL!— and vividly depicting the many years it has been going on in just NEW YORK CITY alone!

Mr. Wesley firstly gave thanks to FATHER for the many Blessings extended him down thru the years, and HE also thanked FATHER for MOTHER, the Spotless Virgin Bride; and the marvelous Work going on today!  He then told how many years ago during the depression, when thousands were without jobs, he had been nothing but a bum, starving for want of food. He told of having stood, hungry and cold, in breadlines, and leaving the soup kitchens still hungry, until he learned of FATHER DIVINE.  There at the Peace Mission he would come, in New York City, at One Hundred and Fifteenth Street, and with thousands of other unemployed, dine sumptuously GRATIS— DAILY!  He said he was amazed to see how such good Work could go on and on, and thousands more at that time being fed for a mere ten and fifteen cents a meal!  Mr. Wesley brought out many other points for consideration concerning FATHER’S wonderful Work, but concluded by saying that he considered one of the greatest things to him was that FATHER could take a good-for-nothing bum, such as he had been, and completely change him, so that now he is not only healthy, well-fed and prosperous, but is now at a place where, in his line of business he is able to give employment to other men at the rate of sixteen dollars a day, and they didn’t have to wait until Saturday to get paid. They could see him any time and get their money!

For this and all the many other wonderful things FATHER has done for him down through the years, as well as for all mankind the universe over, he said, he truly thanked FATHER─ for only through HIM could such have been accomplished!

Shortly after this testimony, the inspirational song herein recorded was sung, after which FATHER gave this soul-stirring Sermon.

(FATHER Speaks as follows:)

PEACE, EVERYONE:  That little composition is someone’s conviction, and according to the last speaker, I think it’s his!  (Loud applause sanction this:)

While listening to his testimony I thought of what I had just said today— in New York City —just in New York City alone, at one time, we were feeding from twenty-five hundred to three thousand persons DAILY, without a nickel!— (Thunderous applause rings out) and feeding UNTOLD THOUSANDS for FIFTEEN CENTS, and the maximum fee at that time was FIFTEEN CENTS!  Sold-for meals, from TEN to FIFTEEN CENTS!  (“So true, LORD!” came the verification with loud applause.)

I have long since declared, “It is more blessed to give than to receive!”  And
“Whatsoever you measure unto others, the same shall be measured to you!”  Therefore, sow GOOD SEEDS, everybody, for “You shall reap just what you sow”!  Aren’t you glad!  (“So
glad, GOD ALMIGHTY!” exclaimed the entire Congregation.)

That thought was stressed in the Actuated Words of Expression form one year to the other.  And as Mr. Wesley said, as he and many others who were called bums and hoboes, and a-plenty of them who were not called by such a name but were fed WITHOUT COST, and it was done from year in and year out.  Aren’t you glad!  (“Yes, so glad, LORD!” came the unanimous declaration.)

Therefore, I say, it is more blessed to give than to receive; for that which you apparently were doing for others, you could not lose!  You have not been in lacks, wants nor limitations!  You have not been in adverse nor undesirable conditions by so doing!  And
through the method as described, thousands and THOUSANDS were sheltered for as little as
ONE DOLLAR and ONE DOLLAR and a HALF PER WEEK, for years and years and
YEARS!  (“So true, LORD!” verified the vast Assembly.)

The maximum fee at one time was just a dollar and a half per WEEK, and after then it went up to TWO dollars per WEEK; but not until recently did any of our hotels or apartment houses receive from guests, more than two dollars per week!  (“So true! came the verification.)

For the last three or four years, since the dedication of the Divine Lorraine Hotel, the fee went up from TWO DOLLARS to TWO DOLLARS and a HALF PER WEEK; the same hotels and the very same service, as so to speak, that were given and that receive from THREE and a HALF and UP, PER DAY! But under the Peace Mission Movement they could get such accommodations for TWO DOLLARS and a HALF PER WEEK, or FIFTY CENTS A DAY!  (Thunderous applause and cheers ring out.)  So then I say, it is something to PRAISE GOD for!  (“So true, GOD ALMIGHTY” came the unanimous exclamation.)

And when the last speaker was speaking, I know there are HUNDREDS under the sound of MY VOICE, tonight, could verify the fact that I took THEM out of LACKS and WANTS  and” LIMITATIONS, out of ADVERSE and UNDESIRABLE CONDITIONS, and have established their going in the LAND of the LIVING!  (“Oh, yes, GOD ALMIGHTY!” declared the vast Congregation with a mighty shout.)

At one time the Peace Mission barbershops; when they were making a fee, charged TEN CENTS to cut your hair, and FIVE CENTS for a shave!  And charged THREE CENTS for a SHOE SHINE!  And THREE CENTS for a SODA POP!  And THREE CENTS for a GLASS of MILK, GLASS of COFFEE—ICED COFFEE or ICED TEA— and COULD NOT CHARGE ANY MORE, AND WERE NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE ANY MORE!  That is what I AM talking about!  Those who were running barber shops and did not charge but five cents and ten cents for a HAIR CUT and SHAVE, they were not allowed to accept of more than the IMMEDIATE FEE.  Yet it was not enough, it is true, according to the present wage scale or rate or fees that they were paying!  But, as it is true, if you do not make a fee, the same as in any and all of our places presently operated now, if there is not a fee, you would have a right to accept of whatsoever is given you!  And if there is a fee, you would not or should not ask more than that limited fee, whatsoever it may be!

I was thinking about that thought today when I happened to find in MY Wallet or with MY Card Case, a ticket.  (FATHER produces the ticket which HE is referring to, and holds it up that everyone might see it, as HE says:).  This says, (FATHER reads from. the ticket:) “FATHFR DIVINE’S two-day BOAT EXCURSION TO THE PROMISED LAND!” — (stopping at the famous ARTIST COLONY, Milton-on-the-Hudson, and at the KRUM ELBOW ESTATE, just apposite HYDE PARK — and on up toKINGSTON.  The trip, ONE HUNDRED MILES or MORE, ROUND TRIP, for ONLY ONE DOLLAR!  (Thunderous applause resounds.)

I like to have PROOF of anything I say, (“So true, LORD!” exclaims the Congregation) to verify it with FACTS and FIGURES that are too stout to be denied!  Aren’t you glad!  (“So g1ad, LORD!” came the reply.)

So then, even though the fee was only ONE DOLLAR, ROUND TRIP, for TWO DAYS; ONE HUNDRED MILES UP THE HUDSON— from NEW YORK to KINGSTON, NEW YORK; THEY WERE NOT ALLOWED TO ACCEPT OF A PENNY MORE THAN THE ONE DOLLAR FEE!  Aren’t you glad!  (“So glad, GOD ALMIGHTY!” declared the adoring Assembly.)  And CHILDREN, EIGHTEEN YEARS AND UNDER, they could go ABSOLTUTELY GRATIS!— whatsoever that means!  (Loud applause rings out).  In our language and in our interpretation that means CHILDREN EIGHTEEN YEARS and UNDER COULD GO FREE!  Now isn’t that wonderful?

You have not seen ME going around begging bread since that time!  (“No, LORD!” declared the Assembly in one voice.)  You have not known of nor heard of not any of our
Churches going into bankruptcy!  Aren’t you glad!  (“So glad, LORD!” declared the joyful Congregation.)  But this ticket is here as PROOF, to let you SEE and KNOW, on MONDAY,
AUGUST the EIGHTH, NINETEEN HUNDRED and THIRTY-EIGHT— nearly FOURTEEN YEARS AGO —we carried as MANY as would go, with THREE BOATS, up the
HUDSON, all the way to KINGSTON and RETURN, with a TWO-DAYS’ OUTING, for  ONLY ONE DOLLAR, the ADULTS, and CHILDREN EIGHTEEN YEARS and UNDER, for “THANK YOU”!  (Thunderous applause, cheers and merriment ring throughout the Holy Communion Hall.)  Aren’t you glad!  (“Yes, so glad, LORD!” cried the joyous Congregation.)

One writer declares,
“I once was young but now I am old; yet

  have I not seen the Righteous forsaken

  neither his seed begging bread!”

If you do that which is JUST and RIGHT, and especially UNSELFISHLY, DEMOCRATICALLY, EVANGELICALLY and LOVINGLY, with ALL your HEART, SOUL and MIND, YOU CANNOT LOSE BY SO DOING (Loud applause resounds in sanction of this.)

I thought to mention this, because the last speaker mentioned how I lifted him as an individual, while yet there were THOUSANDS ALSO LIFTED throughout this LAND and COUNTRY!  But a good many of them are such INGRATES, they would not even so much as say, “I thank YOU!”  (“It’s so true, GOD ALMIGHTY.!” exclaimed the indignant Congregation.)  But we are happy to say “IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE!”  And where I have, through MY Influence, endorsed different little businesses and large businesses and dedicated them to and for the good of humanity generally, it was done in a way so that those who were MY Followers, and others in connection, would not be racketeers and profiteers, to try to get SOMETHING for NOTHING!  Therefore, when they sold ice cream and soda waters, and all of those things we serve and sell now for much LESS than what you could get anything like that elsewhere, we were not broken— we did not get broke— we did not go into bankruptcy!— and it was a matter of IMPOSSIBILITY to LOSE by DOING GOOD!  (“So true, GOD ALMIGHTY!” verified the entire Assembly.)

The barber shops were very prosperous, but they were searing on non-profit basis, and that is what I require those of ME to do, and to be the SAME TODAY, NOW, HENCEFORTH, and THROUGHOUT ALL ETERNITY to live in a way — to live for OTHERS — and be IMPERSONAL, UNSELFISH, DEMOCRATIC and EVANGELICAL!— and if you do, you will NOT have an occasion to SICKEN and DIE— for THE WAGES OF SIN IS NOT ONLY SICKNESS AND ACCIDENTS, BUT “T H E WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH”!

Take these thoughts to consideration and live in this Recognition, and remember, “IT IS MORE BLESSED TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE!”  That is, to the CONSUMER as well as to the PRODUCER!

Some people may think within themselves, “Well, FATHER said it is more blessed to give than to receive— everybody should give to me as a consumer!”  You may THINK that as a CONSUMER— you may THINK you should come and sit down at the Banquet Table and serve a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR-A-PLATE BANQUET, and feel like that should be done— with you having a MIND and a DESIRE to RACKETEER on the KINGDOM of GOD and not even donate such as may be required!  You may THINK THAT!  BUT “HE THAT SOWETH TO THE FLESH, SHALL OF THE FLESH REAP CORRUPTION, BUT HE THAT SOWETH TO THE SPIRIT, SHALL OF THE SPIRIT REAP LIFE EVERLASTING”!

Nevertheless, it does not change the proposition and the situation.  It is just as operative and expressive for the CONSUMER as it is for the PRODUCER!  If the PRODUCER is requested to give to the world the BEST he has, and trust GOD for the BEST to RETURN to HIM— the CONSUMER is required to do the VERY SAME! — and if he has COMMON SENSE, he will make EVERY EFFORT and EVERY SACRIFICE to do even as the One of Whom he has observed doing such things!  (Loud applause of appreciation rings out.)

I thought to call your attention to that, so that you as visitors, guests and friends, and even a good many of you who are immediate Followers and Members of our Churches may not have known or been thinking of what has been done in that way!— feeding from TWENTY-FIVE HUNDRED to THREE THOUSAND a DAY in NEW YORK CITY, ABSOLUTELY GRATIS!— besides the UNTOLD THOUSANDS we fed, the same as we are feeding you all here now, for only FIFTEEN CENTS!  Isn’t it Wonderful?  (“Oh, yes, truly Wonderful, Dear LORD!” came the unanimous reply.)

So it’s a matter of impossibility to lose by doing GOOD; for “RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS THE NATION WHILST SIN IS A REPROACH TO ANY PEOPLE!”  I thank you.
