FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE
at The Mount of the House of the Lord
Many testimonies of praise came forth on this occasion, as well as inspirational patriotic songs, foretelling the events of this present day and time when GOD would have His Way in the hearts and minds of men.
As various individuals arose to thank FATHER for being here in this glorious day of His Reign upon earth it served to lift us higher and higher into the spirit of rejoicing! Two of the songs which were sung just before MOTHER arose to speak are well worth considering and our Beloved MOTHER refers to them in Her Remarks:

For if it had free expression they knew it would take control,
But in this Dispensation of the Reign of CHRIST

Invincible is His Army, right shall triumph and every opponent
That comes in the wake of it, by the Power
of GOD SHALL BE EXTINCT,

Bodies and nations and money may be lost
But the Spirit of Liberty shall not die!
Though many have been slain, their cries can still be heard,
The sacrifice they made shall be magnified in the earth
And it shall spring forth in all the nations,
GOD will give them bodies and His Salvation!
For every nation that ignores His Word
Shall be enslaved, shall be enslaved,
But those who obey His Holy Command
They shall be saved, they shall be saved!
Now many are standing where once HE stood,
Ready and willing to present their bodies
to the Will of GOD,
They cannot be defeated, they cannot fail,
For where they stand GOD Himself has
blazed the trail!
(Spoken:) FATHER DIVINE, YOUR Glorious Sacrifice
Is not in vain! It is not in vain!
For millions YOU have taught the mystery
And millions more YOU shall give the Victory!

Peace, FATHER Dear! Peace Everyone! It is wonderful, FATHER, to be here and to rejoice, because we have a right to rejoice! If there was anything that we could make a whole lot of noise over and shout to the top of our voices, as people would at a baseball game, or something, we have a right to rejoice over this RIGHTEOUSNESS that is covering the earth today! Because many have been slain but their cries can still be heard! We know, FATHER, that YOU have given those spirits bodies in this day and it is those same spirits that are rejoicing, because it is YOU that has really paved the way and Your Followers have been the vanguard of this wonderful spirit that is being manifested in the United States and throughout the world today!
FATHER, I think of how YOU Personally condescended to come in the Likeness YOU came. That was the great unifying example right here, GOD Almighty coming in the likeness of what YOU have termed "the valley of the nations"! FATHER, we appreciate it! In doing so YOU subjected Yourself to all of that violence and hostility and all of the persecution and prosecution that YOU allowed Yourself to go through. YOU allowed it to be heaped upon YOU Personally! Oh FATHER, YOU did not have to come in the Likeness YOU did come, because YOU belong to all people and all people are Your Own, but YOU chose to come as YOU came and I thank YOU that Your Own know You and no matter where they were in the world they were willing to stand the persecution and the reviling and accusation of those who opposed the amalgamation of the so-called races. This was years and years ago, FATHER Dear!
And I appreciate every one of a light complexion that came to Harlem years ago, where those in Harlem were so hostile against those of a light complexion they said it was not safe for one of a light complexion to walk the streets. But I thank YOU for Your Spirit that brought many to YOU in that day, FATHER Dear, because through it YOU showed the world a practical working example of integration. It is wonderful! FATHER I thank YOU for every one that has recognized YOU, and in recognizing YOU that have recognized that which is RIGHT and that which is JUST and that which MUST BE for ALL MEN if they are to live on the face of the earth, and knowing this they were willing to stand and withstand, not matter what came!
And I thank YOU FATHER for all those busloads of Your Children that have gone back and forth across the continent and up and down enacting the Bill of Rights -- subjecting themselves, even as YOU did, to persecutions and accusations. They did it because they loved YOU, FATHER Dear, and were willing to go the way their Redeemer had gone, because YOU told us to ENACT the BILL, wherever we would go, wherever we would sit or wherever we would stand, and FATHER Dear, that was years and years ago! I Am saying all that to say, we have a right to rejoice! (Thunderous applause and cheers fill the air.)
Oh FATHER, when I think of YOUR HUMILITY! When YOU went to Washington YOU went on business. YOU went to carry those Anti-lynching Bill petitions which YOU had Personally instigated and Personally sponsored the signing of in New York City. We recall YOU going right downtown in the heart of New York City and sitting in the back of the Deusenberg while YOU allowed Your Children to be out among the crowds getting these signatures for this petition for the Anti-lynching Bill. And then YOU Personally took all these petitions down to Washington! But what we thank YOU for so much, FATHER, is Your Condescension to Personally be the WAYSHOWER for this nation! -- YOU, knowing what was right and doing what was right -- yet they did not receive YOU as YOU should have been received. But someday they are going to receive YOU and they are going to give YOU the RECOGNITION that is DUE YOU for all that YOU have Personally done to bring about this great Emancipation, for we know it is the only Salvation not only of this nation but all nations, for IN GOD THERE IS NO DIVISION, and I do thank YOU FATHER for bringing us to this wonderful Recognition!
I did not mean to get up and preach but I just wanted to say that we have a right to rejoice, because this is the day that we lived for, the day that we hoped for! (FATHER exclaims, "It is true!") It is the day that has confirmed our faith in YOU because YOU said it would be and now we see it. It is facts and figures too stout to be denied! So we have a RIGHT to rejoice! I thank YOU FATHER, I thank YOU, I thank YOU!
(Many more songs are sung, including the deeply moving hymn, "Mine eyes have seen the Glory of the coming of the LORD." It was after the song, "FATHER is the Victory that overcomes the world," that our Beloved MOTHER arose once more to speak as follows:)
Peace FATHER Dear, Peace Everyone: I was thinking how wonderful it is to sing these songs with conviction. We may not personally be in these marches, or sit- ins, or kneel-ins, or anything like that, but we know the Power of this Praise that is going out to GOD Almighty. We know what it means to give the Honor and Glory to GOD. We have no conception of how beneficial and how helpful this Service today has been to those who are doing their best to stand for what is right! As we stand in FATHER'S Personal Presence and know HE is GOD, this Consciousness is like the mist that moved out upon the face of the deep and created the creation! This Consciousness of GOD'S Presence right from here is moving out, and those who might get fainthearted, they will feel FATHER'S Presence and they will know that GOD IS WITH THEM, and they will take new courage and be more determined to stand in His Mind and His Spirit! FATHER, we thank YOU for being a helpmate to YOU just that much -- to praise YOU whole- heartedly and make our declaration of what we know is true, and then STAND ON IT, FATHER, and live in this glorious Freedom that YOU have brought to us. I mean, live the Life of CHRIST! We are doing so much to help others when we do not deviate from this High Standard that YOU have lifted! ("So true!" came the response from the Assembly.)
FATHER Dear, if YOU had not lifted this Standard and if YOU had not maintained this Standard the world would not have a Standard; but I thank YOU FATHER that YOU are the Standard, and we are going to LIVE to this Standard that YOU have taught us, FATHER, come what may! I thank YOU for each and everyone of us to discipline ourselves and to deny ourselves, no matter what the cost, to live the Principles that YOU have taught us, because it is so worthwhile, FATHER! (Thunderous applause sanctions this.)
FATHER, it is wonderful! -- we can see with a mental and spiritual eye the people that are with YOU and are coming to YOU. We do not have to depend on those that might be right around here that are failing to live up to what YOU have taught us, because FATHER said, if one won't, another will! Your Spirit and Your Mind will always be with YOU, FATHER, and it is coming to YOU in bodies that are willing in this day to do Your Will, no matter what the price! So we thank YOU, FATHER Dear, we thank YOU!
