(FATHER Speaks as follows:)
PEACE EVERYONE! I believe the majority of you caught the thought, because it is true, you are so glad! (Loud applause and cheers from the joyous Congregation sanction this.) The first version of that little composition says, "Aren't you glad?" but the revised version says, "I'm so glad!" (Loud applause rings out.) And if you are glad in Reality and if it is your Conviction, to you it is Real, it is True! Whatsoever you can firmly believe, that is what can be to you, and so it is! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" came the instantaneous response.)
A little while ago, when that Message MOTHER just gave, and the composition of the song in the foregoing, I thought of how marvelous it is to realize, not suppositionally but conscientiously and convictionally, that GOD came on the earth to dwell! Not only so, but as has been said, and I have stressed it vividly,
'The law was given by Moses but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ!'
Moses had a religious conviction and that conscientious religious conviction
was handed down to the Children of Israel. But it did not stop there. It was
made law and order for the coming generations; not only for the coming generations
but for the coming dispensations and the coming ages! Aren't you glad? That's
a question -- "Aren't you glad?" AREN'T YOU GLAD! ("Yes, so glad,
GOD Almighty!" dynamically responds the Congregation.)
The law was handed down from GOD by Moses' conviction because he had religion! Can you not see the mystery? ("Yes, FATHER Dear!" came the reply.) And through and by Moses' conviction the Children of Israel were given the Law, and those who accepted of the Law and lived according to same, they were blessed! (MOTHER says, "So true!" FATHER continues:) But as I said, not only was it handed down to the Children of Israel but also to the coming generations even all the way down to the Present Generation in which we are living! We are living legally and politically by the laws that were handed down through Moses! Aren't you glad! ("Yes, so glad, LORD!" came the immediate response.) Truly might have one declared,
'The Law was given by Moses, but Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ!'
Nevertheless, before Grace and Truth were instituted into the children of men
and into their business and affairs, the law was given by Moses and handed down
to all of the Children of Israel and those with whom they were connected! But
I would like to say, Moses having a deep religious conviction -- that was his
conviction -- and as he was so conscientious and sincere in doing the Will of
GOD, his conviction shaped and fashioned the TEN COMMANDMENTS and gave it to
them! Aren't you glad! ("So glad!"
came the response.)
But coming on down the line, those Ten Commandments were making preparation for this PRESENT DISPENSATION!
'Thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind!'
The FIRST and the GREAT COMMANDMENT, though it was given by Moses, it was GREAT!
Nevertheless, unless men LIVE IT and EXPRESS IT they would not be harmoniously
affected by that Law!
Then coming on down through the ages -- in other words, through the different generations or dispensations, the Body called Jesus, of Whom you say I AM (Loud applause sanctions this.) and by Millions recognized to BE! -- ("Yes, LORD!" came the sanction from the vast Congregation.) came through FORTY-TWO DIFFERENT GENERATIONS and NEVER LOST A BATTLE! Aren't you glad! ("Oh, yes, so glad, GOD Almighty!" came the response.) But was born most insignificantly, but yet immaculately! The Immaculate Birth of Jesus was known to have been the FIRST, to bring about and to bring out of His Conviction -- the LAW of the SPIRIT of LIFE that was in CHRIST JESUS, to make you free from the LAW of SIN and DEATH, and SO IT DID! (Loud applause rings out in sanction of this.)
Then I gave the SERMON on the MOUNT in the Name of JESUS CHRIST! That is why it is a great essential for each and every one to read the SERMON on the MOUNT, for it is the Wording of the LAW of the SPIRIT of LIFE that was in CHRIST! (Loud applause resounds.)
I have heard you say, "When FATHER Speaks, it is Law and Order and everybody has to Obey it!" (Loud applause sanctions this.) They All have to Obey It because it is Law and it is Order! A good many do not wish to obey it, but as in the experience of Moses' religious conviction, so in the experience of Jesus' Religious Conviction when He handed down that Law of the Spirit of Life that was in Him and given in the Sermon on the Mount; that Conviction has been made Law and Order and they MUST OBEY IT!
The institution of Law and Order in keeping with the Sermon on the Mount must be instituted in ALL Government from shore to shore and from land to land, for I have declared, "I AM going into Government wheresoever man is found!" (Thunderous applause resounds.) And this Law shall be effectively instituted and it shall be carried out even as I have declared, "I AM going into the Governments, not only the Government, as one, of this nation, but I AM going into the Governments of All Nations!" (Thunderous applause rings out.)
Moses went into the Government of all nations and made the traffic law! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" came the reply.)
'Thou shalt not kill! Thou shalt not steal!
GOD IS DEALING IN THE AFFAIRS OF MEN AND NONE SHALL SLIGHTLY HINDER HIM! -- for
HIS Conviction, as individuals and as persons -- I mean, as though it is persons
-- GOD'S OWN CONVICTION IN ALL RELIGION IS ACTUALLY SPEAKING THE LAW INTO ACTION!
That is the mystery!
GOD DEALS IN THE AFFAIRS OF MEN, I SAY, AND I HAVE NOT YET EFFECTIVELY AND UNIVERSALLY MADE IT KNOWN AS I WILL MAKE IT KNOWN! (Thunderous applause rings out.)
'The Law of the Spirit of Life that was in Christ Jesus," one writer declared "has made me free from the law of sin and death!'
Therefore, I say, it's a privilege to have Someone with you and to be One among
you that can and will have such a Religious Conviction that will SOLVE ALL of
the NATIONS' PROBLEMS! (Loud applause resounds.)
'For by the disobedience of one man, sin entered into the land, and by sin, death passed upon all men!'
Can you not see the mystery? ("Yes LORD!" came the instantaneous reply.)
But by the Obedience of ONE, even CHRIST, you are Redeemed from death and destruction
and are made New Creatures, by the Law of the Spirit of Life that was in CHRIST
JESUS! This Law is being Instituted in Government Now! I AM going into Government
in the Acts of Righteousness, in the name of Civil Rights, going into Government
in the Acts of Righteousness in the name of many different Laws and Ordinances
-- that's what I AM doing! That's My Conviction! I AM going into Government and
preventing the people from drinking intoxicating liquors! (Loud applause resounds.)
I AM stopping them from stealing! I AM stopping them from Graft and Greed! --
even though Moses did say,
"Thou shalt not steal," but he could not stop them from doing it! ("So
true, GOD Almighty!" declared the Congregation.)
Since Moses could not stop the people from stealing and receiving graft and greed and bribes,
'I Came in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, to condemn sin in the flesh, that the Righteousness of GOD might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, for the Law of the Life in CHRIST JESUS has made you free from the Law of sin and death.'
(Thunderous applause rings out.) I AM getting into Government and into Society
-- I mean My Religious Conviction -- in the Name of My Modest Code! (Again thunderous
applause resounds.) Not only getting into Society and into Government in the
Name of it, but I AM getting into Society and into all Organizations of Religion!
I'M getting into both it and them by the Spirit of My Presence with My Religious
Conviction! ("So true, LORD!" exclaimed the joyous Congregation.)
Truly might have one declared,
'The Law shall not depart from Judah, nor a Lawgiver from between his feet until SHILOH comes, but when SHILOH comes, the gathering of the people shall be unto HIM!'
(Loud applause bursts forth.) And truly I did say in the Sonship Degree,
'And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto Me!'
("So true, LORD!" came the verification.) You speak of the earth's
gravitation and you think it is great in power and in might -- but I did say,
'It is not by power nor by might but by MY SPIRIT, says the LORD GOD of Hosts!'
But GREATER is the SPIRIT of MY PRESENCE, yea, MY SPIRIT, than that of the GRAVITATION
of the EARTH! Aren't you glad! ("Yes, so glad, GOD Almighty!" came
the immediate reply.) The gravitation of the earth can bring many things down
and apparently up, but GREATER is the SPIRIT of MY PRESENCE than that of the
EARTH'S GRAVITATION! (Loud applause rings out.) For I did come in the Likeness
of sinful flesh, and for sin, to condemn sin in the flesh, that the Law of the
Spirit of Life might be FULFILLED in us, who walk not after the flesh but after
the Spirit! ("So true, LORD!" came the sanction.)
Take these thoughts to consideration and remember, THIS LAW I CAME TO BRING AND THIS LAW I'M SO FREELY GIVING! BY A SUPERNATURAL RELIGIOUS CONVICTION I AM BRINGING ALL NATIONS, LANGUAGES, TONGUES AND PEOPLE INTO SUBJECTION! (Loud applause rings out.)
It was great to observe Moses coming to the Children of Israel with a deep religious conviction that would teach them how to be Honest, in a way, and True, and gave them the Ten Commandments to live by -- the Law and the Prophecies. But we are happy to present to you, the present inhabitants of the earth, of every nation, language, tongue and people, and of all of the creeds, dogmas and religions, THIS LAW of the SPIRIT of LIFE that was in CHRIST JESUS! -- A LAW THAT IS MY RELIGIOUS CONVICTION! (Thunderous applause bursts forth.) And that is why you are willing to live according to My Religious Conviction! ("So true, GOD Almighty!" declared the Congregation in one accord.)
Many times individuals ask, "What does FATHER DIVINE say about this, that or the other?" I often tell My Adherents, "You have a right to have your own conviction about any and everything, whether it be political, social, religious or non- religious!" But apparently everybody wants to know! -- because it is written of ME,
'I will preach CHRIST in Words but more so in DEEDS and in ACTIONS, and I will put MY SPIRIT in the people and cause them to walk in MY Statutes!'
Therefore, their religious convictions should be THEIRS, and so they ARE; but,
as you are ME and I AM you, your religious convictions are MINE! (Thunderous
applause and cheers resound.)
Moses' religious conviction was for ALL of the Children of Israel. (Can you not see the mystery?) And this religious conviction was given birth to in the LAW and the PROPHECIES and handed down to them, so that they might be SAVED by LIVING according to his Religious Convictions. And all who lived according to his Religious Convictions, he saved them and brought them Victoriously over all of the difficulties -- even as I have saved you and will save you continually and bring you over all of the Difficulties and Vicissitudes of life! (Thunderous applause bursts forth.)
So then I say, Moses' religious conviction was sufficient to bring the Children of Israel through the Red Sea! Can you not see the mystery? ("Yes, LORD!" came the response.) But yet, with SOME of them GOD was not well pleased!
There are many things I could say, but time will not permit at this instant. (Loud protests are made by the adoring Congregation.)
The religious convictions of many have been the means to save many from disaster, disappointment and failure, and even from destruction!
So then, the LAW of the SPIRIT of LIFE as summed up in JESUS the CHRIST and handed down to this Dispensation upon the Christian Movement was founded -- the Sermon on the Mountain -- the Peace Mission Movement was founded on the Sermon on the Mountain -- and all who are living exactly according to the Fundamental Principal of the Sermon on the Mount and according to the Teaching of JESUS the CHRIST, they will have Victory over Sickness, Sorrow, Pain and Death, and it will be a matter of impossibility for you to be a failure! (Loud applause rings out.) You will not be going around in lacks, wants and limitations, not any more than Jesus' Conviction would permit the five thousand and the seven thousand, besides the women and children, to be fed with the Abundance of the fullness and be bountifully supplied for time thereafter! (Loud applause resounds.)
If you have the Right Religious Conviction, that Religious Conviction will bring you the Abundance of the Fullness of the Consciousness of Good, and you will find no space vacant of the fullness thereof, and you will have no occasion to lack or want nor be by any means perturbed mentally, spiritually, nor physically; for GOD HIMSELF being WITH you, the Spirit of the Consciousness of the Presence of GOD, which is the Source of all Supply, It will satisfy every Good Desire! You have nothing to worry about! (Thunderous applause resounds.)
As I said in a Message, an Interview of a recent date, what have your religious convictions brought you? What have your ideas and opinions brought you? Brought you Misery, Disappointment and Failure! ("So true, LORD!" declared the Congregation emphatically.) It put you in Poverty, Lacks, Wants and Limitations! But My Religious Conviction for you and for all others, has brought you the extreme reverse to those conditions, and given you the Abundance of Supply, of Food and of Raiments, of Houses and of Shelter, over and above every Opposition! ("So true, GOD Almighty!" declared the joyous Congregation midst thunderous applause.)
My Religious Conviction is the Law of the Spirit of Life as depicted and described by JESUS the CHRIST in the Sermon on the Mount! ("It's true!" declared the Assembly.) Those who live it and abide by it will live the Abundant Life from every angle expressible, and will not have an occasion to go around soliciting, borrowing, nor stealing, nor begging; for the very Spirit of GOD'S Presence is Creative and Operative as it was in the beginning of the Creation! (Loud applause rings out.)
GOD'S Presence is automatically creative! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" came the reply.) And it automatically Creates and Produces the Abundance, even by the hand of Nature in Vegetation! The Earth is no longer void and good for nothing, but the Earth, because of GOD'S Presence, has become very productive! ("So true, LORD!" came the verification.)
Live in this Recognition and I will be with you to give you the Victory, but take ME along with you and let this Law be your Guide, and be Subject to the Law of the Spirit of Life, and Victory and Power will be yours, from now, henceforth and forever! I thank you!
