Celebrating Constitution Day at Woodmont
After the proof reading of a very significant interview given to a sister, our beloved Lord and Savior arose and delivered this Masterful Sermon, stressing more fully and explicitly the thoughts brought forth in the interview, that none need err in following the exact Life and Teaching of CHRIST, especially as recorded in His wonderful Sermon on the Mount, for that is the Foundation not only of the Christian Movement but of the Peace Mission Movement, and all should walk circumspectly in this Holy and Righteous Way!
O Dean of the Universe, we thank THEE for Thy Divine Guidance!
(The foregoing statement is that of the transcriber, after which FATHER speaks as follows:)
PEACE EVERYONE! A little while ago when you heard the proof reading of an interview, I was striving to prevent certain destruction to the person in question and to all others in the same category, for
'The Words of GOD, they are quick and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword that pierce even between the joints and the marrow; they separate the soul from the Spirit!'
Aren't you glad? ( "So glad, LORD!" exclaimed the Congregation.) Therefore,
as thousands of My Members and Followers have, as in the experience of the person
in question -- without any solicitation and without any coercion or persuasion
they have endeavored to do what the Spirit within them led them to do, in co-operation
with the Work of the Church. Some have called themselves Members of some particular
Church under the Peace Mission Movement and have donated to that end -- but since
the donation and donations were not needed just for the building that is called
the Church -- what they donated went into the Co-operative System for the purpose
of the advancement of the Movement; to give them homes and security economically.
And so they have been! I mean, so they have been secure! All they have donated
to the Church could have gone only for the incorporated Church, but whatsoever
they donated volitionally and voluntarily, it was done by the Spirit, it is true;
the Spirit of Generosity, of Love for Humanity and for the Church; and as I told
them and continue to tell them, they are not doing it for ME as a Person! ("So
true!" came the sanction.)
And as they have donated like that voluntarily and volitionally, those of the immediate Members of some of the immediate incorporated Churches, they have also gone about to establish their own Righteousness in trying to let others know what they have done, that men might worship them and give glory to what they have done!
That is why I called the attention to the fact of that experience! As I have said, if you do your alms or do anything, and sound a trumpet, or tell anybody anything about it, you have jeopardized the reward that is in the Storehouse of Heaven; I mean, in the Spirit for you, and deprived yourself of Life Eternal! And if you are not watchful, you will lose your body as many others have lost theirs! For I have declared from the beginning of you all's career and endeavoring to follow ME under the Peace Mission Movement, that the Peace Mission Movement is the same as the Christian Movement. It is founded upon the Sermon on the Mount -- especially on the Sermon on the Mount! -- for when Jesus went upon the mountain and gave that Immortal Sermon, it has gone down on record for All of Christendom, to save them from their sins, from death and destruction, from disappointment and failure! And He taught them, saying, in the fifth, sixth and seventh chapter of Matthew, the Words He thought and He knew:
'Blessed are the Pure in Heart for they shall see GOD!" -
and many other points of view that were taught by Jesus the Son!
The Foundation of the Christian Movement is that of the Sermon on the Mount. The Foundation of the Peace Mission Movement is that of the Sermon on the Mount. And those of you here and anywhere who live according to the Teaching, you will comply with Every Word that Jesus said out of His Mouth! That is what I AM talking about! ("Yes, LORD!" verified the Assembly spontaneously.)
So there be some among you who have done a little something -- someone has done a little something for the Church, and they go about to establish their own Righteousness, talking about and boasting about what they have done! YOU HAVE YOUR REWARD, AND FROM GOD YOU HAVE NONE!
The sixth chapter of St. Matthew, as afore said, reads as follows:
(FATHER reads from the Holy Bible lying open on the table before HIM, commencing with the first verse of the sixth chapter of St. Matthew:)
'Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them; otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven!'
(FATHER then asks:) Did you get it? That is the first verse of the sixth chapter
of St. Matthew, as a Message to you and to all who may desire to do something
good for humanity universally, or in any manner whatsoever. >
(FATHER reads the second verse as follows:)
Therefore, when thou doest thine alms, do no sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward!'
(FATHER then exclaims:) Aren't you glad? ( "So glad, GOD Almighty!" declared
the Congregation.) That is quite explicit, isn't it? ("Yes, LORD!" responded
the Assembly emphatically. FATHER reads the third verse and the fourth verse
as follows:)
'But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward you openly!'
(FATHER then says:)
I do not wish to see those who are called Followers and Members of our Churches, dying and having all sorts of accidents and disappointments and failures like others do, who do not believe in GOD -- for if you believe in GOD and live the Life of CHRIST, you will not only have a reward of your FATHER in Spirit and in Life and in Energy, in Success and in Prosperity, but you will have Life Eternal -- if you live according to the Life and Teaching of Jesus!
Those of My Followers who have died -- those who are called Followers -- they have died because they have not lived exactly according to the Life and Teachings of CHRIST as recorded in the Four Gospels! ("Yes, so true!" verified the Congregation.)
I declare, according to St. John 8:51:
'Verily, verily, I say unto you, if a man keep My Saying, he shall never see death!'
Therefore, if you sicken and die, for any cause, you have not kept the Sayings
of GOD! I AM telling you this because a good many of them are still doing it!
-- still dying! -- losing their bodies! -- many who call themselves Followers,
having accidents and disappointments and everything! -- failures! -- being afflicted
with sickness and diseases! Those who are cursed with such curses, they are not
living according to My Teaching, and especially the Sermon on the Mount, as given
by Jesus!
Take these thoughts to consideration! It is not only those of the ones that are called My Followers alone, but anyone who is not living according to the Doctrine of CHRIST, you cannot expect to be protected by the Presence of CHRIST with you, and inherit Eternal Life!
(FATHER again reads the third and fourth verses of the sixth Chapter of St. Matthew as follows:)
'But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth! That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret, Himself shall reward thee openly!'
(FATHER then says:)
These are the direct Words of JESUS the CHRIST, according to the Gospel; and if you as Followers, Members and Friends, and as any other Christian -- you know CHRIST is the Wayshower to Salvation and the only Hope of your Propitiation! ("Yes, so true!" came the response.)
I cannot stress these thoughts too vividly, for that is a part a good many will not do! They want some Honor, to show the world what they are doing and what they have done -- and that is all of the reward you will get! Unless you repent, confess and forsake your sins and never do those things again, you are doomed and you will die in your sins!
I have heard it several different times by different individuals claiming to be Followers of Mine; claiming to be True and Faithful and Devout Followers! Even if they have done something, they did it of their own Volunteer Volition! ("So true, LORD!" declared the entire Congregation spontaneously.) If they did anything more than paying fifteen cents for a meal to the Church and Church representatives they did it of their own Volunteer Volition! And when and wheresoever you pay for something to eat, drink or wear, you are not giving anything and you are not doing anything that is complimented or complementable; for the very Spirit of GOD on the material plane economically requests of you -- I say, the Spirit of GOD on the Material Plane, Economically, requests of you to Be Honest and pay your Just Debts! -- pay for what you Eat, Drink and Wear, and Pay for any Material Thing you receive! But it does not request of you to pay for the Spiritual Blessings you receive -- for Salvation is Absolutely Free! ("So true, GOD Almighty!" declared the Congregation with conviction.)
These thoughts are well worth considering, and at times I do refrain from speaking; but at this instance, as the interview was publicly read, I thought to comment on it so you can know, and substantiate your thoughts, in what I have said. I AM talking about what Jesus said in the Gospel!
If you call yourselves Christians, whether you be Protestant, Catholic or any other religion under Christendom, what Jesus said is the lessons by which you should go -- and that is exactly what you should do!
I said, "They have their reward!" -- when they go about to do those things! And some sicken and die! If I could be I would be surprised to hear of some under the Peace Mission Movement going to the hospitals and going to the graves! It was not so from the beginning, until you doubted what I said! I say, until you doubted what I said and until you doubt what I say, you would not have an occasion to sicken and die and go to the grave!
These thoughts should be stressed in your memory, for that is something you stressfully try to carry in your consciousness, to show others what you have done -- to seek some Glory and Honor. You have no reward!
So now, tell all of whom have said anything about what they have done, that they are committing suicide!
I AM not talking about your possessions in the Peace Mission Movement now. You have your possessions -- have automobiles and houses and land! -- all sorts of personal and real property, such as the Krum Elbow Estate -- a five hundred and sixty acre estate up in Ulster County on the Hudson! Those properties belong to you; they do not belong to ME! ("So true, LORD!" declared the Congregation emphatically.) You have them! Because you desired, and declared you desired to do something for the Church, I did not let it go to the Church -- I let it go to you! That is what I AM talking about! I claim nothing and I own nothing! ("So true, LORD!" came the response.)
The five hundred and sixty acre Estate on the Hudson River; two mile and a half river front -- I mean, Krum Elbow Estate where we expect to go this Sunday and Monday; those properties belong to you, because you said you want to help the Church! And when you donated it to the Trustees of the Church for the Church, I told them to put it into exchange for you, where you would have your security; though you had a right to deny yourself. You had a right not to seek any gains or honor of your own when you did it, as you first did! But I told the Trustees of the Church, "Do not put it in the Church proper but put it in the Co-operative, where each individual who has donated will get their equity of justice as ownership of the different properties!" That is where it all came about!
The same like manner about the Kingston Property! All through Ulster County and in many other parts of this Country, as well as in other countries, when you, as members tried to donate to the Church and to the Cause directly, I directed the Trustees to direct it to the ones to whom it would be due! Their monies purchased these properties and they are the owners of them, and not ME! Neither does the Church own them -- even though they did donate it to the Church. That is what I AM talking about!
I know the majority of them said -- almost everyone said, "Well, I don't want anything. I don't want my name to be mentioned." But I did not want the Church to have YOUR MONEY and not secure you in a security that was Bona fide and Profitable and Protective; that would protect you in that which you donated to the Church. That is how happened it!
Just look at the beautiful Lorraine Hotel, having been christened by your Humble Servant, and the owners thereof who donated the money for the purchase of this Hotel; more than Five Hundred Thousand Dollars; they are the owners of the property, but they are using it co-operatively and for the benefit of everybody. Therefore, these thoughts are well considering. Even though a good many of you may look upon it as great to have donated it to the Church and having come into possession of such an inheritance, in the which it is great because GOD is at the helm. That is what it is all about. But when you go about trying to exalt yourself and try to condemn someone else for what you claim you have done, and yet, what you have done has gone as a protection for yourself and for others co-operatively and that which you did was secured by the Co-operative System, and yet, you go about trying to tell people what you did, you are going to lose your bodies and your names will no longer be remembered!
(FATHER reading from the Bible:)
'But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly.'
When you donated to the Church, the trustees of the Church took your money by
you voluntarily donating to the Church, for the Cause, and donated it to the
purchase of real property in your names by which you had and have the security
of everything you donated. I need not say more. I believe I said enough from
that point of view. But coming another step down, this that I AM about to say
now is not considered so much among you because this commandment and these commandments
are not necessarily violated among you. I was first speaking of the giving of
alms, which a good many of you may do volitionally and voluntarily, without any
solicitation as afore said, and without any request. It is not done by coercion,
neither by persuasion, neither by solicitation. What you have done, you did it
volitionally and voluntarily, and yet, you go about trying to justify yourself
in that which you have done.
But this is something you all have been automatically and intuitively taught by your Humble Servant, how to pray -- cometh the next verse. You do not publicly nor privately violate that commandment of Jesus as He told you on the mountain how to pray. But why do you violate that commandment that He told you how to give your alms and do not let anyone know anything about it? Why do you violate that one? I do not see you getting down on your knees in the Church or in the auditoriums or in the public or private dining rooms shouting to the top of your voices, praying, asking GOD for blessings. You have been taught intuitively and inspirationally how to pray, for I have taught you in the way of wisdom and I have led into the right path.
Now it goes on to say how you should pray. I need not quote that or teach that because you have fulfilled it. You are fulfilling that. We never see the ministering brothers, the ministers of the Gospel, or the ministering sisters, the missionaries in our Churches standing in the Synagogue or in the Church shouting to the top of their voices praying in the ordinary custom or system of praying. Can you not see the mystery? But as you have been taught how to do it intuitively and inspirationally, as I did declare Scripturally,
'I will put bits in horses' mouth that they may obey us and we turn the whole body about.'
If I could turn your bodies about in the way of praying and in the way of fasting,
why is it I cannot turn your bodies about in the way of giving your alms to righteous
causes and to help those who are in need?
But I did say, I will preach CHRIST in words but more so in deeds and in actions. I will put My Spirit in the people and cause them to walk in My statutes. Therefore, in the way of praying you are walking in My statutes. I mean in the way of publicly praying in our Churches, you are walking in My statutes, or in the way of publicly praying in all of our places of worship, you are walking in My statutes because I have put My Spirit in you to that end and you are governed intuitively and inspirationally by which you are led by My Spirit. Aren't you glad? (FATHER reads:)
'But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.'
That is the way to pray. I do not have to tell you that because I see you doing
that. I AM answering your prayers when you pray like that, but by interpretation
you do it and by interpretation I answer them. And it tells you, do not use vain
repetitions, continuing to repeat words in your prayer, but it tells you how
to pray.
Then coming on down in the same Chapter it tells you how to fast! Can you not see the mystery? I AM talking about the Sixth Chapter of Matthew. If you will live according to same, comply with the Words of Jesus in every way, I can and will be with you and will take you safely through and you will inherit Eternal Life for Spirit, Body and Mind and you will not die, no never, physically nor personally! I thank you!
