As the Sister entered FATHER'S Study, she said, "Peace, FATHER Dear", to which FATHER responded, "Peace", after which FATHER spoke as follows:

FATHER: Are you going to picnic Sunday and Monday?

Sister: FATHER, I haven't made up my mind one way or the other. I was just waiting to see if I was led to go.

FATHER: Well, you being a follower of Mine, have a right to be led to go or go wheresoever you choose to go and not feel as if though you cannot go wheresoever you want to go because you are a co-operator. Since you volunteered to co-operate and your co-operation went into the Co-operative System for the purchase of real and personal property co-operatively, this was done, the latter was done without being requested to do it on the Co-operative System's part or those in charge of the Co- operative System or the Peace Mission. They were not obliged to do so. I mean to say, they were not obliged to put your money in or on anything. They did it of their own volunteer volition without any obligation; for when you donated to the Co-operative System, as to the Cause, the Peace Mission Movement, it was done voluntarily and volitionally, of your own volunteer volition. It was done for the good of the Peace Mission Movement, wasn't it?

Sister: Yes.

FATHER: You say yes or no?

Sister: Yes, FATHER, certainly. I didn't have any thought about anything. I don't belong to anything else but YOU, so that is my pleasure.

FATHER: So then, the Co-operative System, whatsoever you do for the Co-operative System, for the Peace Mission Movement through which the Co-operative System functions, it is a charitable institution for the good of the people in general but controlled by those in charge of the different Churches under the Peace Mission Movement and controlled by those in the Co-operative System as officers and officials therein. Therefore, whatsoever is done is done volitionally and voluntarily. I do not even tell anyone about the Co-operative System. I do not tell them anything about it unless it is peradventurely or by chance that they are moved to donate something to the Church or Co-operative System, even as you did.

Sister: Thank YOU, FATHER.

FATHER: It has been appreciated, what you have done, and some others have done the same thing; in other words, some others did the same thing. But some have lost their bodies by doing things amiss. If it was possible for no one to know anything about what you do charitably or as going for the Cause or anything else as being a blessing, as a donation to the Church, if you belong to the Church, no one should know anything about it. But since it is impossible for it to be done and be kept a record of without someone knowing something about it, therefore the ones that are set apart or elected and chosen to fill the office of Trustees and recorders of such, that is how happen they to know anything about it.

Sister: Yes, FATHER.

FATHER: The Trustee here should be the only one to know anything about anything you have done. I suppose I explained that to you before.

Sister: Yes, YOU did, FATHER.

FATHER: But it is detrimental to do contrary to what I have explained, for so many people have lost their bodies. If they did not do anything else wrong, if they tell or have told anybody anything about what they have done as giving alms or doing good for the Cause they have jeopardized their life and brought themselves into subjection to the loss of both what they have done and the consideration or compensation for what they have done and even their own lives. (At this point FATHER opened the Bible and said:) The sixth Chapter of Saint Matthew -- here it is, we are about to read -- beginning at the first verse; and this is why I AM calling your attention to it, for it is a part of the Sermon on the Mount. It is the foundation of the Christian Movement and the foundation of the Peace Mission Movement. Therefore, I call your attention to the same; for when you do anything contrary to same you jeopardize the reward you would get of GOD and even your life itself. The message reads as follows -- the sixth Chapter of Saint Matthew and the first verse. (At this point FATHER read from the Bible as follows:)

'Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them; otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.'

(FATHER continued speaking as follows:)

When you let people know what you do or have done, according to the Gospel of JESUS the CHRIST, even the direct words that came out of His mouth in the sixth chapter of Saint Matthew and the first verse, you will have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Even if you do not know Who I AM, that is emphatic. That is the exact quotation of GOD. The second verse says:

"Therefore when thou doest thine alms" -- when thou do any good, if you don't understand what the alms mean, for any charitable cause or do anything good for any righteous cause, especially in the act of helping the people from a charitable point of view such as our Movement does in general --

'When thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.
But when thou doest alms, let not they left hand know what they thy right hand doeth; That thine alms may be in secret, and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.'

That is the part of giving alms or doing things for GOD or for the Cause. So, I thought to call your attention to the same because I do not wish to see you continue to jeopardize your life and the blessings that are in storehouse for you by trying to justify yourself in the way of men or mankind by letting them know what you are doing or what you have done, for you have no reward when you do such things. Those are plain words. I think I AM speaking quite explicitly, yea, quite plain.

Sister: Yes, FATHER.

FATHER: It is wonderful. So that is why I AM calling your attention to it this evening, because you have told some what you have done and, if perchance, anything comes by accident, by sickness, by pain or by death and you lose your life I have nothing to repent for because you failed to live according to the Teaching and you admit I told you this long ago. Did you not?

Sister: Yes, FATHER.

FATHER: You admit that I told you that and quoted the Scripture and showed it to you, although I would not have been obliged to Personally show it to you in detail as I did and as I AM doing, for you should not have the nature or mind, nor spirit within and desire to do such things, for you are trying to seek honor or take some glory or praise for what you have done instead of giving all the glory and the honor to GOD, to Whom all glory and praise belong. I thank you.

(As the sister began to explain, FATHER spoke as follows:)

FATHER: Okay, that is all. That is the Sixth Chapter of Saint Matthew, the first four verses. Then, after that it tells you how to pray. It also tells you how to fast, the very words of Jesus, the Sermon on the Mount. The words that are given are for all Christendom and believers in Jesus. I thought I would tell and forewarn you.

Sister: I thank YOU, FATHER, to forgive me.

FATHER: Okay, Peace!
