FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE at
The Unity Mission Church, Philadelphia, PA.
Many were the visiting guests and friends present on this occasion, and the vast Holy Communion Hall and the halls and lobbies nearby were packed to capacity, even as the downstairs cafeteria and dining hall. A large group of students and teachers from Temple University were again FATHER'S Guests at the Table, as well as Mr. and Mrs. Harry Cook and their son; also Mr. Meyers Baker, Assessor, of New Jersey, and Mrs. Florence Baker, Assistant Secretary of State, of New Jersey, and many other guests of various professions and from various parts of the world.
It was to the delight and supreme pleasure of one and all present that shortly after the singing of herein recorded inspirational composition, FATHER, the Dean of the Universe, arose and delivered this soul-stirring and heart-lightening Sermon which tells of GOD'S profound Goodness to all humanity! However, not only does our Beloved Savior speak on this subject, but His Words are backed with tangible and daily proof of GOD'S Goodness to the Children of Men the universe over! For the Abundance of the Fullness of every good and desirable Blessings is the portion awarded to those who but know GOD aright and are conscious of His Presence.
(When FATHER first entered the Holy Communion Table had been filled, our LORD spoke as follows:)
PEACE EVERYONE! There are seats downstairs on the lower floor. They are serving the Banquet down there the same as up here. If anyone wishes to be seated downstairs who cannot get seats up here, they are welcome to go down and serve. I thank you.
(Needless to say, all were served abundantly, both physically for the bodies' sustenance, and spiritually by our LORD'S Word!)
(The foregoing statements are those of the transcriber, after which is firstly recorded the inspirational composition sung just before FATHER arose to speak:)
'Out on the mathematical field as far as you can see, Out on the mathematical field as far as you can see, Out on the mathematical field as far as you can see, There are Blessings and Blessings for you and for me!'
(FATHER Speaks as follows:)
PEACE EVERYONE! Here we all are again; there I sit and stand! I have unified Myself with the children of men so that they might be even as I AM! We have Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite! We have Good Manners and Good Behavior! We have All Success and All Prosperity! We have Life, Liberty and the Reality of Happiness! By this all mankind shall realize GOD is no longer a supposition, GOD is no longer a vision, no longer a dream, but GOD is Real! Real! REAL! ("So true, LORD!" exclaimed the happy assembly.)
That little composition, though it may sound just as an assertion, and reiterated over and over again, but we are happy to realize as far out in the land as you can see can be for your inheritance! Aren't you glad! ("So glad!" came the immediate response.) For truly, I did say to Abraham -- Abram, whichever:
'As far out in the land as you can see shall be for your inheritance! As the sand on the seashore (grains of sand on the seashore, if you please) so shall thy seed be!'
the Blessings of GOD to the children of men handed down through and by faithful
Abraham! Then I say,
'Blessings and blessings are flowing so free!'
'As the stars in the heaven (as so to speak) so shall thy seed be!'
I could have said,
'So shall thy Blessings be!'
If you read in the New Testament, you will find the Beatitudes -- in other words, the Sermon of Jesus in the Sonship Degree -- emphasizing, advocating and stressing the demonstration of Blessings.
'Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after Righteousness for they shall be filled!'
'Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see GOD!'
There are so many Blessings mentioned in that quotation, in other words, in that
Scripture, it would not be necessary to go on to try to relate all of the Blessings
as mentioned by Jesus. But I did say in and at this time,
'As far out on the mathematical field as you can see, Blessings and Blessings are flowing so free!'
You cannot enumerate the Blessings! That is what it is all about! Aren't you
glad! ("Oh, so glad, GOD Almighty!" exclaimed the joyous congregation.)
Just look about yourselves. You can see, you may try to enumerate from units to ten, and from ten to hundreds, and from hundreds to thousands, and go on, and you may say, if you wish, to millions; from millions to billions, and from billions to trillions, and from trillions to quadrillions, and from quadrillions to quintillions, and from quintillions into infinite space; and continue to enumerate, if you wish to; you will find you cannot enumerate all of the Blessings GOD has in storehouse for His Children. From Millions to Billions, from Billions to Trillions, and from Trillions to Quadrillions and from Quadrillions to Quintillions, and multiplied by as many more, as I have often stressed, until you cannot enumerate any more; and still GOD'S Blessings are limitless in the Infiniteness of His Infinite Space!
Then I say,
'Out on the mathematical field as far as you can see can be for your inheritance!'
You can see so far as to enumerate from the beginning of enumeration up to Sextillions,
Septillions, Octillions, Duodecillions and Decillions, and Septi-Decillions,
if you please! And you may enumerate until you say Septi-Decillions times Septi-Decillions
and yet you cannot enumerate or count the Blessings of the INFINITE ONE! -- for
GOD is Infinite by Nature and Personally Active Universally!
Then I say, it is a privilege to realize what you have about you; the wonderful Blessings of GOD to the children of men; to know GOD is Present and to KNOW HIM ARIGHT!
'It is Eternal Life to know the only True GOD, and JESUS CHRIST Whom Thou hast sent!'
I have long since declared and I continue to declare the same:
'The Spirit of the Consciousness of the Presence of GOD is the Source of all Supply!'
I would like to say to our Fellow Students and Visitors and Friends as teachers
and students of Religion and psychology:
'The Spirit of the Consciousness of the Presence of GOD is the Source of all Supply and it will satisfy every Good Desire!'
This is not a supposition. You can see the Materialization and the Reproduction
and the Personification of what I AM telling you! Because of being Conscious
of GOD'S Presence, GOD'S Presence by Nature is CREATIVE and It began Its Creation
of every Good and Desirable Blessing!
My Friends, it may sound a little bit fanatical and it may sound a little bit radical for ME to make such assertions as a Person; but you may look about yourselves and you can see unlimited Blessings are flowing for you and for ME! After a while there will be no more breadlines! After a while there will be no more doles given -- for in GOD'S Presence there shall be an Abundance for Every Living Creature, even as I have an Abundance wheresoever I AM Jurisdictionally!
Just look over this vast audience! It does not look as if though any of us is obliged to go hungry! ("No, Sir!" declared the congregation firmly.) I have declared,
'Just as it is right here, some day it shall be all over this wide extended plane, and none shall lack in GOD'S Abundance, for there is a-full and a-plenty for all!'
Why go around in lacks and wants and limitations? Why go around soliciting, borrowing
and begging when GOD is Present? Read back in the Scripture even before the Prophetic
Age -- GOD told Moses:
'Tell the children of Israel if they love ME and keep My Commandments I will bless their going out and I will bless their coming in. I will bless them in their storehouses and in their baskets. I will bless them in the fruit of the land and in the fruit of the cattle; and whatsoever thou doeth, thou shalt prosper!'
The reason there is so much misery and so many slum conditions in your respective
cities, if you please, it is all because of the lack of the Love of GOD and the
failure to keep GOD'S Commandments according to the Scripture and according to
the Gospel! We shall LIVE IT and we shall EXPRESS IT! We shall prove to the world
conclusively continually, out on the mathematical field as far as you can enumerate,
Blessings and Blessings are flowing so free, there will be A-PLENTY for you and
A- PLENTY for ME!
I need not enumerate at this instance. I just thought I would call your attention to the fact and let you get on your studying cap! You know, the enumeration of the Blessings I have been stressing; I have been telling you for many years, "Every day they are Multiplied by as many more!" -- all the way into Sextillions and Septillions, Octillions and Duodecillions and Decillions, and Decillions times Decillions; and Septi-Decillions; and Septi-Decillions times Septi-Decillions! It is something to consider! ("So true, LORD!" came the firm verification.) It may sound foolish to speak on terms of the Infiniteness of GOD'S Blessings from a material point of view, but as material as you are, so material can GOD make the mental and spiritual blessings a Living Reality to and for each and every person!
'The word was made flesh, (can you not see the mystery?) and it dwelt among us," one declared, "and we beheld his glory as that Of the only begotten of the father, full Of grace and truth; and of all of his Fullness have all we received, grace for Grace!'
Believe it, live it and express it and you too as well as those who See and Live
with ME in Consciousness will be Partakers of the Grace wherein I stand, and
the Fullness of it, and you will not fall short on any hand!
Why live in lacks and wants in GOD'S Abundance, as afore said? One writer declared:
'I once was young but now I am old, yet have I not seen the Righteous forsaken, neither his seed begging bread!'
When you see them going around begging on the streets and highways and byways
and everywhere, they must be telling you that they are not the Seed of Faithful
Abraham! Can you not see the mystery? ("Yes, LORD!" answered the assembly.)
They must be telling you they are not the Seed of the Righteous; for,
'I have not seen the Righteous forsaken neither his seed begging bread!'
If everybody had a-full and a-plenty and to spare as we do here, what cause,
or what would cause a man to steal? When you have a-full and a-plenty and to
spare right here on earth you have no need whatsoever to go around in lacks and
wants and limitation. You have no need whatsoever to go around stealing, undermining
your neighbor by begging! That is why we do not take up collections not even
in our Churches -- unless we try to give something in a material way -- something
natural for the material or natural collection that may be taken; food for the
body -- shelter and raiments, if necessary. But we do not charge you anything
for Salvation! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, GOD Almighty!" exclaimed
the adoring congregation.)
I have had many people to say to ME, "FATHER DIVINE, I know where YOU can get a beautiful Church!" I said, "Do they have any sleeping accommodations? - - any places to feed the people?" They may say, "Well, they have a small dining room in the basement, or something of that sort; but it is a nice Church and it will hold so many; a congregation, and so many guests!" I quite often say, "I came to save the bodies of the children of men; the souls will be saved all right if we save the bodies!" Aren't you glad! ("Oh, so glad, LORD!" came the immediate exclamation.) But if we go around and do not try to make a way possible for the Salvation of their BODIES, for the comfort and convenience -- if the souls are saved, the bodies may be lost! -- I mean, if you do not have anything to eat or drink or wear; if you do not have a home to be sheltered in from the storm! ("So true!" came the instant verification.)
But oh, how glorious it is that both Jesus and the prophets fed the people, and we endeavor to do more than what we have ever done among the people! We shall see to it that the Abundance of the Fullness of the Consciousness of Good shall be in evidence in your experience! You will be Conscious of Good and no longer so much conscious of evil! I AM working cancellation on the consciousness of evil now!
One writer declared,
'CHRIST came to bring Good News and Glad Tidings.'
Isn't it good news to know that you are blessed abundantly and GOD Himself is
WITH you? ("Yes, LORD!" came the joyous exclamation of the assembly.)
Then I say, I will take you back once again down to Christendom where they have
said and they have sung,
'Praise GOD from Whom all Blessings flow, Praise HIM, all creatures here below!'
I shall cause you to praise GOD as never before! I shall cause you to know PRAISES
will UNLOCK EVERY BARRED and SHUT DOOR!
Then I say, just be Conscious of GOD'S Presence; live it and express it and do unto others as you would have them do unto you and you will be happy to reap just what you sow! I thank you!
