It was a well loaded plane in which FATHER took off from the North Beach Airport in New York on Saturday morning, April 14th, for one of His frequent weekend visits to his Sayville and Bridgeport Homes. In the big red Bellanca "Airbus" was a capacity load of twelve passengers, including FATHER and His Staff and guests, one of whom was Walter C. Lanyon, widely known in the metaphysical field and writer of many books, who for three years has been carrying FATHER'S Message in Europe. In addition to the passengers were several hundred pounds of groceries and supplies for Bridgeport, stowed in the nose of the plane, making a full load; but the big plane took off gracefully at 11:30 A.M. and gained altitude quickly as it headed for Long Island.
Flying at an altitude of two thousand feet, the ploughed lands and grassy fields were a patchwork of many colors, and the Great South Bay shone out of the midst in the distance. Just twenty minutes after taking off the plane was over Sayville, swiftly circling the town until FATHER'S Macon Home Street came into view, one of the largest in the neighborhood. As the angels heard the plane overhead they ran outdoors, waving and dancing for joy, and when the plane banked around and descended to one hundred feet above the house, almost grazing the tree tops, it was lower than it had ever been flown before and all could be distinctly seen.
Circling around once more for a final dip the big ship passed over Lake Ronkonkoma nearby and headed straight for Long Island Sound, which was reached at 11:50 P.M. Just eighteen minutes later, after flying over several ships and twenty miles of water, the "Airbus" was brought to a landing at Bridgeport in the Stratford Field, and FATHER and His party entered the waiting room to wait for the cars which would come to carry them to the Kingdom on Broad Street.
There were many business matters and much correspondence to be attended to during the afternoon and dinner was not served until after three o'clock. In the meantime a party from Seattle, Washington, who had recently arrived in New York by automobile to contact FATHER Personally, came in and were seated at the Banquet Table. They had followed over the road after FATHER had made His Personal departure from the airport. The Service around the Banquet Table did not last for long on this occasion, for FATHER had arranged to give His Bridgeport Children a ride in the airplane, and leaving the Banquet Table for the airport, they were seen circling over the city in the air.
The evening was again a busy time and the Banquet Table was not reached until after eleven P.M. There were many testimonies and songs, especially from the Seattle party expressing their joy at being in FATHER'S Personal Presence after so long a journey, until finally there came forth a testimony from the Reverend Bederbotto of St. Anthony's Catholic Apostolic Church in Bridgeport, who had recently contacted FATHER. He spoke in part, as follows:
"Peace, FATHER! I am mighty glad to see Your Face! I have been here three times and I have not seen YOU, but I have seen Your Spirit. It is Wonderful to see YOU. I came here to ask YOU to hear me. I promise YOU to serve YOU from now to the end of my life. I thank YOU, FATHER."
Knowing all hearts and minds, FATHER responded, singing and speaking as follows:
'Faith is the Victory, Faith will overcome, Faith will overcome, etc..
That's if you believe and trust My Word, Faith will overcome, etc..
Will heal you of your afflictions, your sickness and diseases, etc..
Faith is the Victory and faith will overcome.
Will heal all your sorrows and all your troubled mind,
For Faith is the Victory, and Faith will overcome."
(FATHER Speaks as follows:)
Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite tonight. These are the Attributes of GOD I have brought to one and all, to all of those that will believe and live according to My Word. Faith is the Victory, Faith will overcome. I brought forth this little composition and tuned it into a melody or song, conveying the Message of Truth from the depths of My Mind: "Faith is the Victory, Faith will overcome." Long since it has been said, you have heard and also have read,
'Faith is the victory that overcometh, or this is the victory that overcomes the world, even your faith.'
Stress I that point of view, but transpose the version of the Apostle and bring
it simple and plain to you. Faith, in the name of FAITH, it is true, has come
to others, but to you it is GOD or CHRIST. In other words, immediately to you, "FATHER
is the Victory"; FATHER Has overcome. It is GOD condescending to appear
unto men to help them over the trials and difficulties of life, lacks, wants,
limitations, sickness, diseases and all adverse and undesirable conditions --
CHRIST in the Name of FAITH, coming to the mortal mind of men.
CHRIST could not come to them to be of real practical service to them in the Name of Himself as being termed GOD. Condescendingly He came in the Name of FAITH to the children of men, that He might reach their conditions; not as a reality of something that would be or that is, tangible; firstly coming to you in the name of faith as an expression, as an attribute of your own, as being termed your characteristics or your physical senses whichever, expressing one of these glorious attributes or characteristics of your mentality.
GOD in the Name of FAITH, has come to the conscious mind of men and especially to those that are living in mortal consciousness. It was essential for an expression of Faith to take place in the consciousness of the human mind that they might overcome, not knowing openly that this Faith is GOD. It is GOD in the name of faith that has overcome for you. Dial in on the Principle as being termed Faith for you. When you find it out aright and learn and know the Truth, you will see, Faith is GOD and GOD is Truth.
Hence, to the children of men, condescendingly CHRIST came, for Jesus IS Christ, and CHRIST is GOD. GOD has made the Person called Jesus, both CHRIST and LORD to the Glory of GOD. Hence, upon this Foundation when you stand and will be unshaken, you will express that which is termed Faith, and being true and devout it is imputed to you as being faithful. Hence, GOD in the Name of Faith, for you is the Victory over all adverse conditions and over all of your afflictions, sickness and diseases, for greater is HE that is within you than all conditions imaginable -- greater than the desirable, greater then the undesirable; for both the desirable and the undesirable conditions are not to be compared with the Omnipotence and Omniscience of the desirable that is within you. It is Wonderful!
The positive, the pure, the real, the practical, the true, is desired of all and all are the producers of same whether they are conscious of it or not. Even the animals in the forest, yea, practically all of the kingdoms of expression, they are seeking an outlet for the expression of a desirable condition. All of that which is expressing in an unconscious expression of life and each and all of the expressions of life are seeking an expression desirable for the advancement of these different diversities of expression, seeking an outlet whereby these expressions might be expressed in a desirable way.
Therefore, the positive, the desirable, the profitable, the true, have more witnesses and more cooperation and more endorsement, than all of the undesirable could have. Hence, every living creature having conscious life in expression, they all seek an avenue whereby the desirable can be had, whatsoever it would be. Therefore, the desirable is real, it is a reality. The positive, the true is real. It is a reality. If it is not accepted in one place, it is accepted in another. Therefore, think not to say within yourselves the desirable cannot be had, the desirable cannot be expressed; for the desirable is expressed here and there and everywhere at the same time, one time or the other. So it is to say, the desirable is sure, the desirable is Eternal, the desirable is real, the desirable is pure, the desirable is incorruptible, the desirable fadeth not away, the desirable has come to stay and the desirable you should obey.
By such a recognition and conscious realization you will bring forth the desirable in your experiences and in all of your expressions. The undesirable, the negative, the impractical and unprofitable will disappear into their nothingness, as the desirable is put forth into expression in your experiences. Therefore, these desirable qualities will come forth spontaneously, when you put into action the GOD-given quality or attribute, as being termed Faith. It is GOD imparting Himself to you in the Name of Faith. Therefore,
'Faith is the Victory that overcomes the world.'
It has overcome, and it will overcome for you.
This desirable attribute for the visible expressions and the conscious realization of the children of men is Faith, and yet it is GOD veiling Himself in the name of faith, to give you the victory over adversities. Hence, we are living in this conscious realization.
'By Faith, the elders obtained a good report",
and they overcame by faith. It is evidently known that the right concept and
the recognition of GOD -- it could have been no other one. They overcome by GOD,
by the Power of GOD, by GOD Himself in the name of faith, manifested to them
while they were functioning in the flesh and in the midst of the children of
men.
Then I say to those of you that are under the sound of My Voice seeking deliverance from adverse conditions, recognize the seed idea of the Fundamental. In the name of faith to you I come.
'If you have the Faith of a grain of mustard seed, you can say to yonder mountain, 'Be thou removed and it will obey thee.''
Then, when the mountain is removed, that is a pre-evidence of the mineral kingdom
willingly obeying or being moved at the Command of GOD. If the mountain can,
could, and would obey, it is a pre-evidence of the whole earth at large. If the
mineral kingdom will obey, your attention has been called to the vegetable kingdom
in co-operation with the mineral kingdom, which was apparently a matter of impossibility
for the mineral kingdom and the vegetable kingdom to obey.
It was understood that the animal kingdom would obey to some extent. Men have been driving animals around and controlling them by the command of GOD in man. The animal kingdom has been under the control of GOD, or under the control of man, whichever, from the beginning; but man did not know he would have all power over the minerals and the mineral kingdom effectively, to cause the whole earth or mountains, to move at his command until Jesus made it plain. He did not know conclusively that He could speak into action the obedience of vegetation. Man thought in himself, in consciousness, he could only move or remove such visible expressions as vegetation, which is actually done by the power of his own, humanly speaking; but the Master in the name of Jesus, spoke saying,
'If you have the faith of a grain of a mustard seed, you can say to yonder sycamine tree, be thou plucked up . . . and be thou cast into the depths of the sea, and it will obey thee.'
Do you not see the great mystery of these two expressions that had not been conveyed
openly through that version to man until Jesus brought it forth? GOD had given
man dominion over the earth and over the things of the earth, but yet it was
not explained to them, neither to mankind as an individual, that they would have
power to move the mineral mountain by faith, or by the spoken word. Neither was
it made plain that they could move vegetation by the spoken word or by GOD in
the name of faith. For this cause, Jesus as a Person did put forth a Light of
Understanding that they had not understood, neither had they seen nor heard it
put into action effectively. Hence, the word was spoken concerning the mountain
being removed and how it would obey you by faith.
I have called your attention to the great significance of this recognition. It will help you to overcome when you really know the Power that is in the word of Faith. By putting all of the Omniscience of the Infinite in it, you put forth all of the Omnipotence of the Infinite in it by the recognition of the Infinite being IT. There are men that have wonderful powerful automobiles and horses and mules even and other animals that haul vehicles and carry burdens for the people, yet they do not know what is in that animal -- the power that is in that animal or the power that is in that machine or automobile engine! They cannot or will not put it to its best. They will not allow that power that is lying dormant there, to develop into practicality put forth into expression and become to be active and practical.
So it is with the word "Faith". Do not take the word faith lightly, but remember, all that there IS, is in the word Faith; but it is lying dormant until you put it into action, for
'Faith without works is dead, being alone.'
You must put something else with it. Unless you do put something else with your
faith, it is dead! It is GOD that worketh both the Will and the Do; hence you
put GOD in it as faith and let faith be in GOD as GOD, and then and there the
Work and the Do will be displayed and Faith will not be dead.
Take these thoughts into consideration. Faith has been lying dormant in expression; yea, the Omnipotence of the Infinite has been lying dormant in that seed idea of faith and cannot and will not be developed nor put forth into expression until you come to this recognition, that this Faith is GOD Almighty! When you turn on that switch of Infiniteness, turn on that switch of Omnipotence, turn on the switch of Omnipotency and turn on the switch of Omniscience, you will see Faith begin to work and work with a Power and in expression beyond your highest and fondest imagination. It is Wonderful!
You do not know this capsule -- the Capsule of Salvation, in which lie all of the desirable ingredients waiting for you to recognize it; and through this recognition it will be put into operation and faith will not be alone. Faith is no longer alone; therefore it is no longer dead.
'Faith without works is dead, being alone.'
Therefore I have brought this thought to consideration -- if you can develop
the slightest simple faith and put it forth into expression in words, in deeds
and in actions, that simple faith will give birth to the Almighty in your consciousness;
for that is the mystery of the Capsule of Salvation that is lying dormant in
your systems.
Take these thought to consideration. You can see all of the negation in your consciousness dispelling and you can see all chaos from your system being eradicated -- sickness and diseases disappearing into their nothingness from whence they came and CHRIST in their places, coming forth out of the shells of the different limited degrees of expression, such as Faith, Hope and Charity and HE will manifest Himself in the expression of the Almighty. It is Wonderful!
There are many things I could say along this line; but if you will only dial in on this Message that I have conveyed in the simple words of the expression of faith this night, and live according to same, you will see immediately a miraculous change; not only in your mentalities but in your physical expression and in your physical ability and also in your spirituality; for you will become to be the Impersonal Life of GOD expressed and will no longer be the expression of personality, but the true expression of true spirituality, which will be the manifestation of GOD Almighty!
These thoughts are well worth considering. By living according to same you will find Joy; you will also extend it to others and you will become to be a living factor in the hearts and lives of men. I thank you.
