PEACE EVERYONE! That little composition is well worth considering and everyone should consider it:
'In Thy Love, in Thy Love, FATHER, keep me ever!'It is written:
'If you love ME, keep My Commandments;
My Commandments are not grievous.'
It is a true saying and it is not a supposition, but to the extreme reverse to
that as of a supposition, it is a declaration!
Love in evidence in the children of men is obedience to HIM Who liveth forever! If GOD loves you HE will bless you. If you love GOD you will serve HIM and obey HIM!
Perfect Love will bring about Obedience to GOD and to man, to law and to order, and the recognition of law and of order to keep GOD'S Commandments!
I thought I would drop these thoughts for your consideration, for there are many who may sing and say,
'FATHER, keep me in Your Love,'
or, "Love me," or "I love YOU," but that is what Love really
means; it is the work of GOD to bring an end to all selfishness, all graft and
all greed; to bring an end to everything that is not unselfish.
Unselfishness put forth into expression with the Love of GOD will cause you to love others, to serve GOD, to keep His Commandments. So, Love is the Keynote to Salvation, but you must realize Love will cause you to be obedient.
'If you love ME keep My Commandments!'
"Obedience is better than sacrifice," and sacrifice on Biblical terms
by interpretation, in a great measure means prayer.
Obedience will answer the purpose of prayer. Where you would live in sin, in disobedience to GOD and to man and be beseeching and praying, seeking forgiveness for your sins; if you are obedient your obedience will be the same as prayers to HIM. Hence, you need not go through the groveling attitude as a good many do in the act of trying to invoke the Throne of Mercy in compassion and sympathy with beseeching and groveling attitude towards GOD.
But obedience is better than sacrifice; hence, obedience is a true prayer; in other words, it answers the purpose of a prayer, for if you do not obey GOD you will have to pray!
When you are punished you will begin to pray then, for disobedience causes punishment both by GOD and man and then you call for mercy when mercy cannot be found. But if you are obedient to GOD and to man you need not pray that prayer.
Why do you call for mercy? It is because you have been disobedient. If you are honest and if you are true, if you are obedient and will do what GOD bids you do, you need not pray for Mercy, you need not pray for Tender Compassion; you do not need Mercy and you do not need Tender Compassion. You need no special consideration. That which is just and right, which is due you will come to you and you will be glad to get it! Aren't you glad?
But when you are disobedient, when you are incompetent, when you are untrue, when you are trying to get something for nothing, when you are trying to evade the issues of life, when you know you are dishonest in the act of trying to evade the issue to obey GOD and man, there and then you have committed a sin where you will be obliged to pay the penalty some day, somewhere and somehow; and when this sin is committed effectively and you go before the Bar of Justice you are obliged to plead for mercy, for you know if you get Justice, woe will be your portion!
But if you do that which is just and right you will not seek mercy. All you seek is Justice; and Justice being your portion you would be blessed more than that which would actually be due you in a way of speaking, because GOD by nature through Justice would be as Mercy and would be a Blessing more than that which you are worthy of in a way of speaking.
Just look at the Blessings we all receive here, of comfort and convenience, of Joy and of Happiness, of Peace and of Pleasure, Success and Prosperity! All of these limitless Blessings come automatically through the Reign of Righteousness, Truth and Justice, and are not given by Mercy.
I mention this because you have been taught to seek deliverance, to seek help, to seek aid and beseech and pray to GOD for Mercy. Do that which is just and right and you will not have an occasion to seek mercy at the hands of man, neither at the Hand of GOD, for Justice can be your portion and Justice will be your just and accurate and Mighty Reward, both at the hands of men and at the Hand of GOD!
If you are true, if you are just, if you are obedient, if you are unselfish, if you are competent and if you will eliminate all incompetence and disobedience, you will find Justice will be your portion and will give you whatsoever is necessary without the pleading of mercy. Aren't you glad? All of you should be glad!
You do not see My true followers pleading for mercy to GOD, neither to man. When they love GOD and keep His Commandments they do not have to plead for mercy and compassion, for Justice can be their portion, and they will get more than what they actually need for life's existence, for comfort and convenience and everything necessary!
For this cause you can rejoice and be exceedingly glad to have mercy eliminated and Justice extended, for Righteousness, Truth and Justice shall have access with the people but mercy shall eventually be eliminated once and forever and Justice shall take the Field!
Once the Son took the Book out of the FATHER'S Hand! In Mercy and Pity CHRIST came. But the FATHER has taken the Book back out of the Son's hands. Now Justice and Righteousness shall have access and every man shall be rewarded according as his works may be. I thank you.
