FATHER DIVINE
A motion picture depicting the gradual addition of the states to the Union, the oppositions encountered and the many years it took to form the United States of America proved most interesting and appropriate for the occasion, and after hearing from several speakers, our Savior arose to deliver a dynamic Message, first touching on this subject. While many at that time thought such steps impossible, they were eventually accomplished; and nothing being impossible with GOD, we know that His every Word, every prediction will be fulfilled and the Unification of the three Americas will be a reality as soon as men recognize the necessity of Unity and Mass Production, Construction and Instruction. With the sample and example portrayed by FATHER DIVINE on a comparatively small scale, it is plain to see that through harmonization and cooperation Peace and Prosperity can be achieved for the Nation by applying the same principles with no raise of taxes required or similar plans of men.

PEACE EVERYONE!
Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite for everyone, with Life, Liberty and the reality of Happiness; that of which we are actually enjoying and are endeavoring to cause others to be partakers of.
At this particular instance I have arisen to say, it is good to be here, after observing the wonderful exhibit of the unfoldment and the progress of the U.S. and how the States in the Union increased and multiplied continually from the thirteen states of the Union. They increased and multiplied, but of course at that time it did take some time apparently to bring about such a great United Family of states. At this time we mean to do a little better.
Firstly the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose has actually come forth into expression by living in Unison together not only living in unison for one cause and in one way, but in the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose for the advancement and for the betterment of each and all of us by this we have so unified ourselves together until we move and speak and act in Unison. We think and also put forth our ideas and opinions in Unison!
By the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose we have brought about this great Union that will eventually Unite the hemisphere. It could not be unless there be some uniting done in spirit and mind; but by unifying ourselves together in spirit and mind and coming on one common level for the common good of all, we are partakers of that great Spirit of Unity and Tranquility from the spiritual realm, by which all mankind was created.
By this Spirit and by this recognition we are steadily and daily uniting together. The unfoldment of this great mystery is so pronounced, and yet though it is pronounced a miracle, as the unfoldment advances there are those still who do not believe that such a thing can be accomplished.
I would like to say to our representatives of government and all representatives of our form of government as the form of government as put forth into expression and as it has been portrayed even tonight in the exhibit of those pictures; it shows that all of the United States of America is but a sample and an example of what can be done with all of the countries of the Americas.
When Louisiana was purchased, according to description as given, some at that time thought it impossible; but is was accomplished. And Louisiana being one of the great states in other words parishes of the Union, as a state it was not the last one to be added. California and other states of the Union as described and exhibited tonight, were but bespeaking these different states were but bespeaking - the mystery of how we will eventually Unite all of the Republics of the Americas.
Someone said when I proposed the Unification of the three Americas and to let there be United Countries of the Americas even as we have the United States of America, it was a big job; but I would like to say to the representatives of all government and those of My critics and opponents, if you will but stop and take cognizance of the slight reflection of the mystery of what I by My Spirit am doing through My followers cooperatively, with all government and representatives in opposition; how much more could we do if all government would unite together and be in harmony with each other?
Some marvel at the unfoldment of the mystery and at the advancement My followers are making. Truly might they marvel at such an unfoldment and at the advancement they are making, because of the oppositions. They have not only the opposition by a limited few but opposition by almost all of the people. Yet with these oppositions the followers in the cooperative system according to My Teaching are making such advances it is unbelievable! Some cannot believe that such advances can be made as are being made, but yet they are making the advances and presently over and above all oppositions My followers' purchasing power is unlimited!
Just think of what this government could do if the government itself was under an administration that did not encourage borrowing or lending in the way it has been! What an advancement this government would make in the act of purchasing and controlling whatsoever it may desire by the purchasing power this government itself would have, and this great nation, by mass production instead of mass destruction. Production is the keynote to Salvation! It will cause your nation and any person to be independent! When you have a-full and a-plenty of foodstuff and comfort and convenience, you can make your respective advances spiritually and mentally as well as economically. You cannot make your respective advances scientifically and inventionally unless you have a-full and a-plenty economically. But by having a-full and a-plenty economically and having the necessary comfort and convenience, you can make your advances inspirationally and even inventionally; and scientifically from other angles of expression, because of mass production and by having a-full and a-plenty, it will encourage you and give you aspiration; will give you energy and ambition to launch out in fields unknown.
Because of mass production you would be independent You would not obliged to belie yourselves as a nation. When we declare our independence politically and nationally, and then go around as dependents individually, severally and collectively and even nationally, we are belying ourselves and not fulfilling and proving that document of independence.
Then I say, take cognizance of this Message and consider, even the government under which we are living, if it would take cognizance of My Message, inside of the next twenty years we would not have a pauper in the land! We would not owe any creditor, for we would pay cash on the cash-and-carry system and we would not buy anything on credit, neither would we owe any man; for as with an individual, so with a nation. Therefore I lift up a standard among this people as an Individual for your consideration, and through My cooperative system with these of Mine who follow My Teachings, we mean to be a sample and an example for all generations. Not only for all generations to come; but we mean to be a sample and an example for all nations presently as well as for all generations in the future.
Take these thoughts to consideration and build upon this foundation and we will lift our nation and our neighboring nations from lacks, wants and limitations, and each and every person in a land of plenty will have a-full and a-plenty and be inspired with aspiration and inspiration and courage and energy to make the necessary advances for our advanced civilization.
This is an advanced civilization, but we do not express our advances effectively. By the Spirit of My Presence I AM telling you inspirationally, but I desire to express it more explicitly economically than what I can tell you inspirationally. When I speak by inspiration it is not understandable saving as I tell candidly by the actuated words of expression, by putting forth into expression from the invisible into the outer expression on the material plane and manifesting that which I AM telling you materially. This is what I mean to do! As the advances are made, as you have seen and you have heard, we do not mean to advance the cost of living, but we mean to make our respective advances necessary and reduce the cost of living for each and every creature. We mean to lower the taxes! We mean to eliminate so much taxation such as we have had and yet we mean to make our respective advances such as My followers are making economically on the material plane by this cooperative system.
Even though the cost of living advances, you have not seen where those who are under My Mind and Spirit and governed thereby, as being termed under My Personal Jurisdiction because they recognize ME Personally, where they have yet made any advances in the prices of different merchandise they sell and handle. You get meals now at fifteen cents the same as you did years ago. If anything, we mean to make things more comfortable and more convenient for each and all of the consumers.
If this can be done on a small scale, as it may be termed, with just a few million under the jurisdiction of this democracy, it could be done by the one hundred and thirty million subjects of this country! The Sample and the Example!
They are not wasting money foolishly. They refuse to indulge in wastefulness, for the Teaching of the MASTER of all Christendom has long since said and I have verified the same:
'Take up the fragments that nothing be waste.'
Cooperation and Harmonization and working in unison otherwise. By being honest,
competent and true and studying continually the system of mass production, you
can and you will increase and multiply your produce and will cause your storehouses
to be filled once and forever!
This is not a supposition. By personal experience as it appeared to be in and at the time and before the time of the World War, there was a great scarcity of sugar and white flour and other necessities of life; but by the cooperative system and by mass production, because of My followers who had adhered to My Teaching, they had a-full and a-plenty and to spare, even though others could only get a quarter of a pound of sugar in some places.
If there be a question as to what I AM telling you, stop and consider what you have observed in these different audiences and dining rooms and business places of those of My followers mass production is in evidence wheresoever there is unity and tranquility in evidence, for it eliminates division, for
'Where there is division there is strife,'
and there is envy, there is jealousy and malice; and all those detestable tendencies
within you will cause you to seek to take the advantage of your fellowman; rob
him out of what he has and try to get what you can and prohibit others from succeeding
in whatsoever they may endeavor.
By the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose as portrayed here before you and as I AM just now demonstrating in the actuated words of expression, by you, My audience, I AM telling you in the actuated words of your personal expression of your mind and your attention, that the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose will give us a-full and a-plenty from every angle expressible.
This is not a supposition. I AM telling you by your ways, by your deeds and by your actions; I AM telling you by your prayerful attention; I AM telling you by your faith you have in whatsoever I say. Such faith can be established throughout this land and country and all can unify together in unison so effectively until they will be obliged to be successful!
I heard one say by inspiration, yea, it was by a Psalmic prediction this is it of which I AM now speaking one said:
'The LORD is my Shepherd and I shall not want.'
You see it is an abstract expression as a sketch and a reflection of the Abundance
of the Fullness for all mankind, to show you, you need not want at any time.
He said on the same occasion and in reference to this of which we are now speaking, and it was a Psalmic prediction:
'Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.'
Good things will follow ME wheresoever I go! Wheresoever I go I have a-full and
a-plenty and to spare. As it is with ME here and now, so it is wheresoever I
go and wheresoever I may be.
As I impute the Psalmic prediction to ME, so impute I it to you! Goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life, and if you live according to My Teaching, you will abide in the House of the LORD forever!
The House of the LORD is not as man supposes, but the House of the LORD is a state of consciousness in which you all live! It is the recognition of GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE; and when you abide under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY, you are under HIS PERSONAL JURISDICTION . . . under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY so closely connected, under the selfsame state of consciousness where you are protected by His Actual Presence; you are in the HOUSE of the LORD and under such jurisdiction you will abide forever!
This is not a supposition, but get into this state of consciousness in which I AM now living and KNOW I will be with you. David caught a glimpse of the mystery in his Psalmic prediction in another quotation and declared:
'Thou art with me ; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.'
You are comforted, are you not?
Have you ever heard such Words of consolation and Words that could comfort you and would lift you and would be so convincing to you as the Words you hear daily? You could not and did not, because you have not been abiding or had not been abiding in the House of the LORD under His jurisdiction by such a recognition of GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE as you are now abiding. But with this recognition it is not that it must necessarily be called an expression of a religious fanatic's concept; this is not merely religious fanaticism, but an expression of scientific, actual LIVING; telling you just what we will do and the way we all will be after a while; for, as with an individual, so with a nation; and as with a nation, so with an individual.
It is a privilege to live in this recognition and to build upon such a foundation as this one with victory over lacks, wants and limitations and the recognition of GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE, knowing you have the sample and the example to go by. As I said, the very government under which we are living should take cognizance of this Message! I would lift all of her subjects from lacks, wants and limitations and give them their real emancipation from all undesirable conditions.
I say, as with an individual , so with a nation; and as with a nation, so with all nations combined; for as we make our seeming advances and unfold the mystery more accurately and more distinctly, and get in cooperation by harmonization, we will make things more perfect and more better from every angle expressible.
I was thinking tonight when we were showing the pictures, I thought of how we are now showing intellectual , scientific pictures at the different places practically every night as well as showing the Truth from a scientific point of view, and teaching the Gospel that will actually save you. The general public has a chance for participation; they have a chance to get firsthand information and they have a chance to enjoy just what we all are enjoying as My followers and immediate friends, without the cost of a penny to them.
As we have these different auditoriums and bring the divers audiences together and give you instruction both mentally, spiritually, intellectually and religiously, as well as scientifically and inventionally, I will continue to make such advances and such conveniences for you. Then the general public they all will be eventually benefited even as much as and more than you really are; for it is a free gift to the world, gratis to mankind. Just think of it!
And yet we are not expecting to encourage our followers to make any advances in the prices of merchandise, but to the extreme reverse we mean to lower the prices of merchandise and the price in places for accommodation and for food otherwise for the benefit of all mankind. By the economic system and by cooperation and harmonization we are able to accomplish all things. We do not mean to cause taxes to be increased on personal or real property, but we mean for you as followers, friends, enemies and others, to benefit by MY cooperative system and to reduce the high system of taxes.
"How can these things be?" some may say. There is not anything impossible all things are possible for HIM that liveth forever! I AM going cross-grained to the minds of men. For this cause CHRIST bore the cross on Calvary to give you as followers of the CHRIST the chance to go cross-grained to the minds of men, for the comfort and for the convenience and for the advancement of them, that they might enjoy the blessings of HIM Who liveth forever and forever.
Worrying about the advancing taxation you all will receive! HARMONIZE with the fundamentals for which I stand! Instead of taxes advancing on everything, to the extreme reverse, cross-grained, to the versions and minds of men, I will see that I will decrease them! I know it is hard to believe!
When CHRIST bore His cross, as it may be termed, and Simon bore it with HIM, it was an abstract expression as a sketch and a reflection of going cross-grained to the minds of men; and when HE was resurrected, a good many were resurrected with HIM, bespeaking the resurrection from all of those limited concepts of men, having the victory over them. Although they had been cross-grained to HIM, CHRIST came forth triumphant as a victorious conqueror over all adverse and undesirable conditions because HE was willing to bear the cross in opposition to His Personal feelings, in opposition to the versions of men; and Simon was willing to bear the cross with HIM.
You could name yourself as though you were Simon. You need not look for another to fill that purpose, to fill that part of Simon for you; but consider your body being willing to help carry it yourself as a person; and CHRIST with you and the cross in opposition to the versions of men, CHRIST will by faith give you victory within and the victory without, as though it was HE! These thoughts are well worth considering!
Now take cognizance of what I have told you, as you, My followers, friends and hearers and even those of My so-called enemies, who may desire to make things better for themselves and for others. Take cognizance of this Message and realize Mass Production and Mass Construction and Mass Instruction will be the keynote and the way to salvation for yourself and for others universally.
