Who would have ever thought that the Kingdom of Heaven would be a place where practical matters would be considered, and where courses in Practical Psychology and the Art and Science of Living, would be given? Of course, this thought did not nor had not entered in the minds of the people, because to them, the people of the earth, Heaven was not a reality, neither was it conceived by them, to be materially manifested on the earth plane. To them, it was a spiritual conception existing only in and on the spiritual plane, and we, the people of GOD, who would live Christian lives to the best of our ability, according to the Teaching we had received, would inhabit this plane, or that plane, in mystical bodies.
Man had his own set of opinion concerning the world above, and Heaven beyond the clouds. He misinterpreted the true significance of the foregoing statement, and conceived a vague notion of same. He did not know that Heaven beyond the clouds signified a place in consciousness , where human beings would ascend, by subjecting their bodies to the Teaching of CHRIST, and would arrive to the CHRIST State of Consciousness, beyond the clouds of doubts and misunderstanding, and there abide in Heaven, in the true Spiritual state of expression in spiritualized material bodies, in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth; that place or state of consciousness, which is eternally in Heaven, and which is not made by hands.
Thanks to our Blessed LORD and Savior, the Truth of the dark mysteries enshrouding life after death has been made known. The secrets of the ages have been so plainly presented to us, that we no longer feel or experience that one-time great chaos or void space that existed between the time of Jesus, the Son of GOD, and the Personal appearance of our FATHER in this Dispensation. The different eras have been so connected by the Coming of our FATHER, and the Teachings have been so marvelous, until we can actually visualize the Personal Existence of GOD in the Sonship Degree, functioning in the Body called Jesus, on this earth, nineteen hundred years ago, when He healed the sick, raised the dead, administered to the poor, solved the problems of the people, astounded the lawyers and the doctors, just as FATHER DIVINE is doing today, but in a larger way. In the courts of equity, in dealing with men, the judges are acquitting their clients, and urging the opponents to live like their clients, those who are followers of FATHER DIVINE. A judge recently, in acquitting a follower of FATHER'S, requested the individual to ask FATHER'S Blessings on him. Read the Message.
On this Monday morning, June 11th, 1934, after hearing some testimonies from the followers present and their individual experiences, one especially who was in contact with this judge, who asked for FATHER's blessing, FATHER responded, singing and speaking as follows:
MOTHER and FATHER DIVINE and Staff
"The healing waters flow, the healing' waters flow,
The healing waters flow wheresoever I go.
The healing waters flow, the healing waters flow
The healing waters flow wheresoever I go."
PEACE EVERYONE! Good health, good will and a good appetite for all mankind. These blessings I AM speaking into action, and the wonders are being performed. "The healing waters flow wheresoever I go." The healing waters are so freely flowing.
This morning while sitting and listening to the different testimonies and requests of the different individuals, I thought not to say anything in words, but as I speak more so in deeds and in actions, the Spirit of MY Presence will work automatically. It will work where it is not seen; where you see ME not, I will express MYSELF. For this cause Christ came in the flesh that He might meet the conditions of the people who are living on the material plane in the flesh. Through their faith in something unseen, and having conscious faith in that of which they have not seen, it will cause the conditions of their physical systems to change. You are transformed by the renewing of your mind, by thinking vividly and consciously concerning these things and believing in that which you have not seen; but at that time not seeing, the Spirit of the Presence of HIM is transmitted to you, and imparted to them that believe with you. It is indeed Wonderful! Then I say, "The healing waters flow wheresoever I go."
I have gone in the hearts and lives of men and I have arisen in the officials; all who are concerned, who will bring their bodies into subjection, they will know the doctrine and they will judge the people with equity. That is the only way to be blessed, and to be successful and prosperous, is to judge the people with equity. That is the mystery of GOD on earth among men, for HE has come for the purpose of "judging the quick and the dead." It is indeed Wonderful! Condescendingly Christ came, transmitting Himself in the hearts and lives of the children of men, that they might bring themselves into subjection to Him, that GOD through them, might judge the people with equity. If they refuse to judge according to MY Mission and Calling, they will be cut off and will not fill the office. It is indeed Wonderful!
It is such a blessing when a judge on the bench is willing to bring his body into subjection, knowing this, that Jesus, the great Love Master, after the crucifixion and resurrection and ascension "from thence, he became to judge the quick and the dead." That Mission was to the Christ, and Christ has condescended to impart Himself to the children of men that they might be righteous judges, and judge the people with equity. Blessed is that man who will judge with equity and with a righteous judgment, but the man who will not judge with equity and with a righteous judgment, he shall be moved off the bench. It is indeed Wonderful! This is not a question, I say; this is a declaration! This is not an affirmation; this is a declaration! I AM declaring to the children of men, everyone who will not deal justly between man and man, and will not judge the people with equity, they shall be moved off the bench! I told you all that a couple of years ago. ("Yes, YOU did, FATHER," emphatically assured the people). It is indeed Wonderful!
You can see what I have done and still AM doing in the State of Jersey. I say, you see what I have done and still AM doing in the State of Jersey, and I have some work to do in New York too. (Applause) When I speak, you can listen to MY voice, even the quick and the dead can hear it. New life the dead receive; a broken heart sincerely believes, and to the poor, GOD'S love and HIS mystery is revealed, how HE is judging the people with righteousness and with equity. For this cause we are rejoicing.
This is not confined to what you see as a Bodily Form, as being termed a man. It is a Spirit transcending every human imagination: it is a Principle! As the principle of mathematics must be recognized by all of the nations, they must bring their bodies into subjection to this identical Principle of Whom you say I AM! I say, blessings and blessings shall fall on you, matters not what your professions or classifications may be if you will live according to the Teaching of the Christ, which is in short, Evangelical. GOD's Presence is expressing in love and compassion, kindness and mercy for the true and the faithful who will dial in on the Fundamental and will cooperate with the Savior. Limitless blessings are flowing so free, and these blessings shall not only reach you as immediate followers, but they are blessings for all of the inhabitants of the earth. All who are open minded enough to live according to the Teachings of Christ, they too will come to their inheritance as inheritors of the limitless blessings fox which Christ came.
For this cause, we are rejoicing at the testimonies and experiences of those who are willing to cooperate and recognize the Principle as a reality and as the ideal for all of the people. Just think of it! Little did mankind think just a few years ago, when I was veiled, I would let them know the mystery of GOD's Presence as it is understood today; but today, I venture to say ninety percent of the people are believing. (Applause) If they do not wish to submit to it, the majority of them are believing, even if they have the same opinion still, as Shakespeare says: "He that you convince against his will, he has the same opinion still." It may be true with quite a many of you, nevertheless, you are convinced, and not only you, but thousands of those who are not supposed to be believers in ME. It is indeed Wonderful!
These blessings are going forth conquering and to conquer. They are convincing to the mighty, the great and the small. They are compelled to believe there is a reality, for without coming near you, your conditions can be reached, and all chaos can be eradicated. Negation is dispelled from your consciousness by the recognition of GOD's Presence, through your conscious conviction of same. It is such a privilege to know it. I have had several individuals to call on ME this morning for blessings of healing, etc. I need not to say Personally, you need not come near ME Personally, neither need I to see you in person, for the Spirit of MY Presence is with you. "It is not by power, nor by might, but by my spirit, says the LORD." MY Spirit will reach your conditions. It will heal you of all your afflictions and diseases, and will establish your going in the land of the living. From all of your sorrows and trials and tribulations, you will be free if you will to believe this Message that I AM giving today. It is indeed Wonderful!
As you say, you are sick and you are afflicted and such like — forget about it; cast out of your system all prejudices, bigotry, hatred, resentment, anger, jealousy, coveteousness, deceit, malice and strife and all of those detestable characteristics, and allow the Christ to rise and reign in their places by giving GOD all of the praises daily. Sighs and sorrows, sicknesses and diseases will be eradicated, and all negation will be dispelled from your consciousness. GOD in you is mighty to save; as a living factor in the hearts and lives of men HE can transmit HIMSELF to them, as though being one with them. It is indeed Wonderful!
It is such a privilege to know GOD is Ever Present wheresoever you are. The very Spirit of such a Presence that you can see manifested here, is there as well as here. In success, in prosperity, in health and in happiness, in love and in kindness and in every desirable blessing imaginable, GOD is Present with thee, and HE is ready to put them into operation as soon as you will let HIM.
"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works ..."
Let your health come into expression. Let your happiness be made manifest, and let your sicknesses and diseases, and all chaos be eradicated, and let the light of love shine in.
If you will let it, GOD will let you, and it will be expressed and manifested in you as you bring your bodies into subjection, by casting out those detestable characteristics. You cast them out by not allowing them to function in your systems; by not allowing prejudice, resentment, anger, jealousy or covetousness or any of those detestable characteristics to function any longer. It is indeed Wonderful! Such kind cometh out by fasting and by prayer. Fast from such tendencies by not allowing them to function in you —not allowing them to exist in you by not yielding to their temptations and their inclinations that would lead you to do what they would have you do. By being persistent in your ambition and taking a stand against every detestable characteristic, they will eventually leave you. It is indeed Wonderful!
Remember, when Jesus was led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by mortality, or by the mortal version, whichever, as being termed the d- v-l, He was also led upon the pinnacle of the temple, after which He was led upon the exceedingly high mountain ; but as Jesus fasted from those temptations and would not yield to them, to satisfy their desires in Him, the d- v-l leaveth Him. Remember, the fasting in the wilderness, as a parable concerning Jesus, was but a sketch and a reflection of the mystery of the fasting from all detestable characteristics, fasting from all of your mortal fancies, from all of your mortal pleasures and from all of their tendencies. Jesus was a true "faster," and He was the way shower for many. He fasted forty days and forty nights, humanly speaking, according to the mortal version. Man discerns it to be as if though He was fasting from material food— it could have been, according to the mortal version, but a greater and deeper depth of an understanding lies there, under-currently veiled from the consciousness of the children of men. Jesus did fast from His human desires, from His human pleasures, from His human fancies and from His human tendencies. Jesus fasted from each and every detestable characteristic, until that which was termed the d-v -l, left Him. It is indeed Wonderful!
Take these thoughts to consideration. As you are true and faithful by living Evangelically, the Spirit of GOD's Presence will give you the victory over your adversaries and over all adversities, and they will eventually leave you. It may be hard at times for you to overcome the mortal mind, your human fancies, your human tendencies and your human pleasures, but if you will continue to fast from all of those detestable characteristics, eventually they will leave you. Jesus was the Wayshower, the Expresser and the Manifestor of the Victorious King, to show you, as He has overcome, so can you overcome. By inspiration, the Christ Consciousness brought to man's observation in this last dispensation through a composition, saying:
"Yield not to temptation,
For yielding, is sin ;
Each victory will help you
Some other to win."
Just think of overcoming and casting out of your systems, by casting such out of your consciousness, all detestable characteristics and fancies of the mortal pleasures and desires. It is indeed Wonderful! Fasting from them, they will leave you, and you shall overcome all of your adversities by overcoming your adversary that lives within you until you shall have fasted him out.
I AM not requesting MY followers to fast from the material food. Remember, the material food is for the sustenance of the body, but I request of you, if you desire to, to fast from all of those ,detestable characteristics, every undesirable tendency, fancy or pleasure that has been existing in your systems. You will be tempted in the beginning. The tempter will come to you, the same as he did to Jesus, but if you are true and faithful, and will live according to the Teaching, by fasting from the tendencies and fancies and pleasures of mortality, they will eventually leave you!
Do you not see in this, an open picture and an open expression in the parable concerning Jesus, as He fasted in the wilderness forty days and forty nights, fasting apparently from food yet the outward expression came forth as tester, telling Him something to do that was contrary to the plan and the purpose of the Almighty:
"Command these stones to be made bread, that thou mayest eat."
This was the first temptation, after He was an hungered. It is indeed Wonderful! This temptation was not the greatest temptation, to command the stones to be made bread, but it went from the material substance as an outward expression, into and upon the psychic plane of expression:
"If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: (from the pinnacle of the temple) for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning Thee ... lest at any time, thou dash thy foot against a stone."
The tempter carried Jesus from the material plane, to make stones bread, to the psychic plane, to go upon the pinnacle of the temple to be cast down, or to cast Himself down, whichever; but this temptation from a psychological point of view, Jesus would not allow such a temptation to overcome Him. As He overcame in that psychological state of expression, from the psychic plane, the tempter carried Him upon the exceedingly high mountain, expressing to Him somewhat a spiritual expression of things, saying:
"If you will fall down and worship me on this high light of spiritual understanding, I will cause you to be an International King. All of these things I will give you if you will fall down and worship me."
It is indeed Wonderful! But with the spiritual temptation, in the high light of spiritual understanding concerning His Majesty, dominion and authority He would receive by giving up to the mortal version of things, and how He would be an International King. He overcame that temptation, and s- t- n then leaveth Him. It is indeed Wonderful!
You will be tempted in your bodies firstly, no doubt, then in your mind, and then in your spirit. In the high realm of spiritual things the spirit of the tempter will come and try to get your to change your mind, and fall down and worship him. It is indeed Wonderful! But by being persistent in your ambition, unshaken in your confidence, steadfast and unmovable, refusing to be changed, the tempter will eventually leave you, by fasting him out and refusing to yield to the temptation, the same as he left Jesus. It. is indeed Wonderful!
"Greater is he that is within you, than all they that can be against You."
—from the external or even within you. 'I'here is something greater for you and in you, that is leading you and guiding you, than all things imaginable that can supposedly be against you.
Live in this recognition; you will be fasting from all of those tendencies, and eventually the tempter will leave you completely, and you will have the victory once, now and for eternity. I thank you.
