FATHER DIVINE
The spacious penthouse dining room of the Divine Lorraine Hotel was literally overflowing with visiting guests, Followers from all over the world who came for this Sacred Occasion as well as Followers locally and across the nation— all giving Praise and Honor to the Beloved LAMB and HIS Spotless Virgin Bride
Directly after hearing FATHER DIVINE's Sermon via tape recording which HE delivered at the Unity Mission Church, April 30th, 1952 A.D.F.D., wherein FATHER speaks, among other things, concerning having made Philadelphia the Country Seat of the world, several songs were sung by the Rosebud Choir depicting our patriotic and religious convictions.
MOTHER DIVINE then arose to speak as follows:
Peace FATHER Dear, Peace Everyone: FATHER, I rise at this time to give YOU Thanks and give YOU Praise for the privilege we have just enjoyed of hearing YOUR Personal Voice declaring in all of YOUR Authority what YOU have done. (applause) Truly, YOUR Own Arm has brought YOU Salvation and YOU truly have come treading the Wine Press all alone, because man does not understand YOU therefore he really cannot give YOU Praise and give YOU Honor, therefore it takes YOU YOURSELF to declare the TRUTH and to explain, it to us. (thunderous applause)
First of all I want to say that the privilege we have to hear YOUR Personal Voice is evidence of the truth of YOUR Ever and Omnipresence, and the realization that comes to us that this really is Heaven on earth! When you think of just the invention of the machine that could bring us this reality, of FATHER's Actual Personal Voice it is truly Wonderful!
Then I want to thank YOU, FATHER, Dear, because we are not only living witnesses but we are living epistles of that statement that YOU have drawn all nations, languages, tongues and people to Philadelphia and YOU have made it the Country Seat of the world, because from here this Standard of True Americanism is being broadcast throughout this nation and throughout the world.
It is a glorious privilege to be living in this dispensation, for it is a new dispensation, it's a new era and the former things have passed away and the Government of GOD is in effect — this Government of the people, by the people and through the people—for this is where GOD governs, from the hearts and minds of HIS People. And as the other inspirational song declared, "The triumphant march of Righteousness is on", and "Through all the generations right has been opposed"—wherever the CHRIST was manifested the opposing forces did endeavor to make it extinct, and it seemed like it was impossible for RIGHT to take control. But FATHER DIVINE, through YOUR glorious coming, the Sacrifice that YOU have made to come in a Personal Bodily Form and to live on the earth plane and to walk through the various expressions of life, YOU have established this Truth, and now nothing can hinder the full expression of it being manifested on this earth plane. That is why America as it comes of age, so to speak, on its 200th birthday, will come into the REALITY of what she was born to fullfil—a new race of people on the earth, the American race, which will eventually be the Angelic race. People of every nation, people of every culture—truly a representation of all of GOD's Creation has been mixed and molded together to form this American race—and now as YOU have exemplified it, FATHER Dear, in YOUR, Family, so shall it be in America as a nation. As it is in YOUR Family, we just know each other as Children of GOD, as true Sisters and true Brothers, with all of the gifts and all of the talents, all of the wisdom, knowledge and understanding that we might be privileged to express, we know that it came from GOD, (applause) and we feel it a Privilege and an Honor to express it to the Honor and Glory of GOD and for the benefit of all humanity.
It is such a wonderful glorious freedom that we enjoy when we don't have to give honor to lineage, to nationality, to race, to any of those limited mortal versions and concepts, but to give Honor to where all Honor belongs, and that is, to GOD Who created us! And in doing so, we do away with all of the division and all of the strife and we come into this unity, knowing that we are of ourselves nothing, and that ALL GOOD IS GOD—and with this understanding we can go forth and glorify GOD and we can build a world of peace and of joy and of prosperity and abundant health and life, because all of the things that caused the adverse and undesirable situations are destroyed. ("So true!" came the sanction.)
It is a privilege, FATHER Dear, to live in this state of consciousness and to give thanks for that which we do enjoy; for that which we have a vision that YOU have established that we might not as yet see in the fullness of it, but yet we know it is a reality. We know it is a reality, FATHER Dear, and we give YOU Honor and we give YOU Praise for this glorious liberty of the true Sons of GOD. Thank YOU FATHER Dear.
