FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE
On this all-glorious, magnificent Fifth Wedding Anniversary Celebration, commemorating the Marriage of the Lamb and HIS Spotless Virgin Bride, Christ to HIS Church Triumphant, the song rang forth, reverberating and resounding through the Communion Halls of the Church
,"I know YOU are GOD,
I know YOU are GOD;
I know, I know YOU are GOD.
Down in this heart, I know YOU are GOD;
I know, I know YOU are GOD."
As FATHER rose in all the majesty of Heaven and earth, glorious hosannas to the Holy One seemed to shake the very building and when they finally subsided, FATHER, significantly brought forth the parable of Lot and his two virtuous daughters. Though in those days, there were not enough righteous persons to save the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah and only Lot and his daughters were saved, now, at this time, FATHER has made millions, through the knowledge the HE is GOD, upright and righteous enough to save this country and others from war and destruction.
Because we know FATHER DIVINE is GOD, we are proud to live a holy and virtuous life as we see exemplified daily by FATHER and HIS Spotless Bride.

PEACE, EVERYONE: It is good to be here! While listening to that last composition and yet as a declaration, it came forth from the hearts of some, I thought of how marvelous it is to realize whatsoever you can sincerely believe, you become to be a part of. You have often heard, no doubt you have heard your mothers and fathers say, "Stay out of bad company, for they will lead you astray." If you would stop and consider, the company that you all have been living in, I venture to say ninety-five percent of you under the sound of MY Voice, has led you from vice and crime and sin and debauchery of every kind. But you often hear it said,
"Evil communications corrupt good morals; ill qualities are catching as well as diseases";
but the average person does not customarily viceversalate it and realize, good qualities are equally catching and are just as contagious. For this cause I have contagionized you. Just think of it! What GOD told Abraham in the days of old. (Genesis 18:20-33 and 19:1-17) GOD in the name of an Angel, was going down to Sodom and Gomorrah to destroy those wicked cities.
MY fellow citizens, hearers and friends, you do not know what has happened, for as they were going down to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, the Angel told Abraham he would spare the city, yea, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, if he could only find fifty just persons in those two wicked cities. Isn't that right, Doctor? (A clergyman in the audience to whom FATHER, addressed this remark, answered FATHER with, "That's right?") To make righteous people in the land for the redemption of all mankind. He came all the way down from fifty just persons; if he could find only forty just persons in the cities he would spare the cities. And the Angels—at least Abraham—prevailed with the Angel and requested of Him if He could only find forty just persons and thirty just persons and on down to ten just persons. The Lord said, "I will spare the cities if I can find ten just persons in those cities." And as those destroying Angela went down, in that parable of the destruction of mankind, they could not find even so much as ten just persons in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. For this cause GOD told Lot to "Take your wife and your two daughters" —I mean the kind of daughters I AM representing — read for yourselves (Genesis 18:20-33 and 19:1-17). GOD said, take your wife and your two daughters and get out of the city, and I will destroy it.
You can see it in the Bible, but before that came to pass, the wicked men of the city desired to destroy GOD in the name of the Angels, because it was GOD HIMSELF came down to save or destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, Can you not see the mystery? They even pressed on the door, as they have striven on many occasions some forty or fifty years ago, to destroy this Body because of MY righteousness I AM advocating.
But as the Angels saw that the wicked men of the city said, "Send those men out and let us see them" — read it for yourselves in the Bible —they desired to destroy those men; but there were not enough power in all of the wicked men of the city of Sodom and the city of Gomorrah to destroy those men that came down to save them. And as they tried to break the door down, GOD told the Angels—in other words, the Angels told Lot to, "Take your wife and your two daughters and get out of the city", and those wicked men persistently and insistently tried to get to Lot and those Angels that had come down to Sodom and Gomorrah to save them; the wicked men desired to destroy the men that came down to save Sodom and Gomorrah. The Angel said, "Take your wife and your two daughters and get out of the city, for I will destroy it." Can you not see the mystery?
And as they went down, even Lot said to those wicked men, "I have two daughters that have never known man, "I will give them to you and do as you please with them, but spare these two men, for they have come under my roof." That is why I said, these two daughters were virtuous daughters. Lot declared that they had never known man. But they did have some brothers and others that had gone out and married in the city and were taking part with the wickedness of the city; but Lot's two virtuous daughters, those of whom had never known man, were there with him and their mother; but the Angel said, "Stand back" and GOD in the Name of the Angels, made the wicked men stand back from them and stand back from him.
The next morning Lot took those two daughters and his wife and went out of the city. The story, in the parable of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, was a story that has been fulfilled in a great measure in this dispensation by the righteousness of the righteous wherewith I have made untold millions—well, I at least say, untold thousands right here in this country, righteous. Your country has been spared and not a bomb has fallen on it. In the first World War and in the second World War and now in this war that they are trying to spread from shore to shore and from land to land, the righteousness of the righteous of these of MINE shall save your city and your country from destruction, if they will but recognize the righteousness of it.
GOD told Abraham, if HE shall find ten just persons in those cities, "I will spare the city for their sake." Did HE not tell them that? Biblical students and Biblical readers, ministers of the Gospel and Bible teachers, read back in Genesis and you will see what GOD said concerning the mystery. And coming over into the New Testament, Jesus to all Christendom declared,
"As it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man."
I made you righteous! I stopped you from stealing; I stopped you from robbery! I stopped you from drinking intoxicating liquor. I stopped you from indulging in sin and human affection, lust and passion. Aren't you glad! Because of this I have spared not only the city, Philadelphia, but I have spared your country because of the righteousness of the righteous wherewith I have made you righteous.
Then, coming on down to this time, having made thousands Righteous to the extent not a one of you will smoke a cigarette, would you ? Tell the truth and nothing else but the truth and let GOD help you! How many are there here that would not and do not smoke a cigarette? Aren't you glad ! How many are there here that do not drink intoxicating liquors? Tell the truth and nothing else but the truth and I will help you. How many are there here that does not and do not indulge in human affection, lust and passion, though you may be married, even as I AM to MY Spotless Virgin Bride? Aren't you glad! How many are there here that do not get on the Relief and take the dole fraudulently through concealment, trying to rob from the city and state government? That is what I AM talking about. I AM here and I have made you Righteous. How many are there here that do not go around soliciting, begging and stealing on the streets? That is what I AM talking about.
Unanimous show of hands went up to let the world see and know what GOD had done for them, redeeming them from the vice and crime of the world.)
I have made you Righteous and with this Righteousness, I have saved this country from invasion. Now tell them all, I said it.
We have a few representatives here tonight from Switzerland, as afore said, "I did not have enough Righteous in Poland and Czechoslovakia and some of the European countries, not even in England to avoid being invaded, but I had enough Righteous in Switzerland and some of them are here. I have made many Righteous in Switzerland right under the shadow of the war-mongers and the destroyers of human life; but they could not harm Switzerland because I had made enough of them Righteous to save the country.
I know whereof I speak. Aren't you glad! Now I have not done anything yet to what I will do; for I AM going from shore to shore and from land to land.
"I am purifying the sons of Levi and I am purging them as silver and gold are purged; so that they might offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness as in former years and as in the days of old."
That is what I AM doing. Read your Bible and see if I AM not doing it.
When I took unto MYSELF MY Spotless Virgin Rosebud Bride just five years ago today, to further propagate Virtue, Holiness, Honesty, Competence and Truth and the very Virtue exemplified in hundreds and even thousands of you, the Virtue that is in MY Spotless Virgin Bride; and you by visualization and by concentration have materialized that Virtue and walk in the statutes of your Savior.
I need not say more at this instance but I thought to drop a few thoughts for your consideration. In little Switzerland, she could not be invaded. Study your history if you wish to and the statistics of the destruction of the nations and their countries in the European countries. She could not be destroyed; for I have made enough righteous there in those countries and in the country of Switzerland to ward off warfare and bloodshed in those borders.
"For as it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be at the coming of the son of man."
Now I have made your city here, the City of Brotherly Love, the Cradle of Democracy. I have made it the Country Seat of the World. All countries shall come and worship in this your city that I have made the Country Seat for Righteousness' sake.
For Righteousness' sake shall all of the nations of the earth who harmonize with ME, sympathize with ME, coincide with ME, be blessed and none shall lack in GOD's abundance eventually, for the very Presence of GOD is a blessing. Aren't you glad!
And MOTHER DIVINE as She is known to be, shall be called Blessed by all nations of the earth. In Switzerland, in Germany, even in Germany proper and in Austria, in Australia and in practically all of the countries of our civilization, I have awakened Righteousness among them and they recognize MOTHER DIVINE's Presence and MINE as One, for it is the Spirit incarnated, reproduced and personified, to be a blessing to all mankind.
I need not say more at this time, for you can see for yourself the blessings you all have derived by MY Marriage to MY Spotless Virgin Bride. Even your Holiday shall be recognized by those who once criticized. Aren't you glad!
For I have proclaimed the 29th Day of April an International, Interracial and Universal Holiday, commemorating the Marriage of GOD, as though a man, to HIS Spotless Virgin Bride, to bring Peace on earth and Good Will to men, so that they might recognize HIM in all lands. Aren't you glad!
It may sound a little fanatical, it may sound somewhat radical, Beloved Ones, I AM here to tell you that the Work is going on. Just as I said before in this vast audience, I mean over all, I do not believe five percent of you would do anything wrong, if you knew it (At HIS Sweet Voice thousands raised their voices answering, "No, FATHER Dear!") I have caused you to do right and if there is a question as to the truth of what I AM telling you, an unbiased investigation is solicited. If there is anyone that has fallen short of this Truth, as I have told you, you are welcome to report it to ME and I will have record that there is someone who has failed to live according to our teaching.
So then I say, as Counselor Norris said, ". .. the Virginity and the Virtue of MOTHER DIVINE it is to be revered and admired." Not only so, but to be visualized and reproduced and materialized; for that which She has brought to fruition is your privilege to be partakers of the same, for as She said, "Love is not confined nor bound to a personality, it is not confined nor bound to an individuality."
I AM teaching and have taught MY Spotless Virgin Bride how to transcend personality and individuality and revel in the glorious liberty of the reality of GOD ALMIGHTY, with victory over all materialization and over all mortality.
I often think of how some have said, "What is going to become of you all when FATHER DIVINE goes?" Since I AM Omnipresent and Ever Present, I have nowhere to go.
That is why I do not even so much as go to Europe or Asia, Africa or any of the places where our Churches are established, for I AM there and I AM here and I AM everywhere. I AM just as operative in Australia tonight as I AM right here in Philadelphia.
This is Spirit Personified, but without the Personification of the Spirit, as it was in the beginning of the creation, it moved out upon the face of the water and began its creation of all creation. Spoke into visibility the earth that was void and without form. The same Spirit is speaking today and you have declared I AM GOD; you have declared I AM THE SAME ONE. Can you not see the mystery!
And because of such a conviction I function effectively without MYSELF Personally and do not have to touch you for a blessing—you can get a blessing.
You may read The New Day if you wish to, just one copy of it, and see MY correspondence with men and women in all parts of the world and see MY interviews I give them --- "It is not necessary to contact ME Personally especially; if you make your mental and spiritual contact I can and will help you. You need not see ME Personally, for the visible expression of the person is but a sketch and reflection of materialism as an outward expression of it. But, when you transcend the personality and the individuality you also transcend materiality and win the victory over all limitation and barriers and all obstructions, for you transcend them. Aren't you glad!
Now I believe every one of you are pleased with MOTHER DIVINE and you do not love ME any the less, you love ME more, better and greater than you did before I married Her. I thank you.
(After this most thrilling lecture, the masses were filled with the Spirit of Love to their Holy FATHER and MOTHER, showing in words, deeds and actions that they loved their LORD and Savior, FATHER DIVINE more since the Marriage.)
