FATHER DIVINE
A sister testified to FATHER of how her place of business was untouched in New York City during the recent race riot; she thanked HIM for HIS Protection, and further stated that she felt she must be living the Life because of such. Later, FATHER. arose to verify the Biblical quotation wherein it says,
"When I see the blood, I will pass over you"
FATHER very beautifully stresses in this Message, that wheresoever the Life of Christ is in evidence, the destroying angel will pass over you. This Message contains much food for thought; and with the necessary consideration and concentration and prayerful attention, through transmission you will be the expressers and the personification of the spotless Life of Christ, as exemplified daily by our Beloved Saviour, GOD, FATHER DIVINE.
Take cognizance of these Priceless Words of Spirit and Life!
O LAMB OF GOD, WE REVERENTLY THANK THEE!

PEACE, EVERYONE! I heard one say I said, "Not a true follower of MINE was touched" or words to that effect concerning the riot. I thought of what it takes to be a true follower. As one said a little while ago, someone asked them, did I believe in marriage or words to that effect; and they so wisely answered, "Read the Bible, what Jesus said, and believe what He said." That was a very scientific and accurate answer, because I AM merely emphasizing, advocating and reproducing the very Life of Christ, and the Words I said in Him I reiterate and reiterate them over and over again.
While I AM reiterating and iterating — in other words, rehearsing them and rehearsing them over and over again in the actuated words of expression, it is the privilege of this and all other generations to read them and take cognizance of MY Message.
A few years ago when in New York, nearly all of the stores and business places were being held up and robbed in Harlem, a good many of the so-called followers' places were, but not a true follower of MINE's place was robbed. Not a true follower of MINE has been robbed — one who is a disciple of your Humble Servant. Disciple means a follower; hence, if you read the Gospel, you will find what is required to be a disciple and how you are a disciple and the way you are not a disciple.
Then I say, not a true follower of MINE has been held up. Not a true follower of MINE has been robbed; (Aren't you glad!) for they themselves and a11 they possess are under the Jurisdiction of the great Universal Mind Substance; in short, it is in Heaven and they and their possessions are protected from all hurt, from all harm and from all danger, and whensoever such as it was happens in any vicinity, any community, any state or any country, such as the uprising and the riot that was in Harlem the other day, and in other places such as those, when those destroying angels of the "other fellow" and of the "other place" can see the Blood, they will pass over you if you are followers of MINE. It is written,
"When I see the blood, I will pass over you."
Can you not see the actual fulfilment of the Scripture? Repetition of history. History is actually repeating itself. In the actuated words of expression, it just continues a process of reiteration, reiterating in the actions of words that are spoken in deeds good and evil.
Then I say, it is a privilege to be in the Actual Presence of GOD and to be true followers of Christ where nought will hurt nor harm in all MY Holy Mountain. That is what I AM talking about!
"He that puts his trust in me, shall never be confounded," said he.
The same Spirit is speaking today, and what He said to them, to you I say.
Many Places and Persons in New York City Robbed
When those destroying angels of the "other fellow" and of the "other place" can see the Blood—I mean the Life of Christ as exemplified among you all, as being termed the Blood — I will pass over you. Aren't you glad! So many of the places of business in New York City and men in a11 parts of the City, not only in Harlem, were held up and robbed—so many of the places were robbed in the broad daylight because the Blood — in other words, the Life of Christ as being termed the Blood — was not their protection as a Rock in a weary land and as a Shelter in the time of a storm. The Life of Christ to them was not the Name of GOD that is a Strong Tower where the Righteous run therein and is saved. Therefore, they falter, they fear and they doubt and they fail because the Life of Christ, as being termed the Blood, cannot be seen as their protection and as the Tower and the Rock on which they build or could build their shield and hiding place.
That is why they have been disappointed and suffered loss, because the Life of Christ has not been seen explicitly and definitely, else the destroying angel of the "other fellow" would pass over you. Someone may say, "Well, I was a follower of FATHER DIVINE". Someone may say, "I am a follower". But even if the Life of Christ, as being termed the Blood, has been applied and if the Life of Christ you have hid, as you quite often hide, the Life of Christ cannot be seen when you are hid from Him.
If for any cause or for any purpose whatsoever you can hide the slightest emotion, word or expression, you are hiding from your Life's protection and hiding from that which will and would protect you in the time of disaster and destruction. If you hide from ME in words, in a deed or in an action, even in an emotion or an expression and do not want ME to see and know Persona11y what you do or say personally or individually, when the destroying angel comes, he cannot see the Life that has been applied; therefore, it does not pay to hide.
Again I wish to say, if the Life of Christ has been exemplified and has been applied, as being termed the Blood, was put upon the lintel it could be seen; if racialism, lineage — I mean family or color or any other mortal versionated claim — is applied thereafter, the Life, the Life will be hid. There is where you hide the Life of Christ and your protection is not sure. Some have family applied to their lives in thoughts, in words, in deeds and in actions. They stress them, but in the time of MY visitation and the day of MY revenge, when it has come, if those things are there to hide the Life of Christ that has been applied upon you, the Life of Christ cannot be seen and the destroying angel of the "other fellow" will try to destroy you.
When the life of mortality, of any mortal versionated concept is observed, such as race, as I aforesaid, such as creed or color handed down orthodoxly or traditionally whichever, those tendencies of the mortal version set as a barrier of prohibitation and prohibit you from following the Christ, for Jesus said so. The fourteenth chapter of Saint Luke will explicitly depict the Mystery of what I AM telling you and I need not tell you Personally but read it through and through conscientiously and sincerely; I will reveal it explicitly.
This is not a supposition! When any of those things are observed in your life that are in violation to the request of Jesus the Christ, it is a matter of impossibility for the destroying angel to see His Blood — in other words, His Life as being termed His Blood, therefore, they can destroy. If the Life, as being termed the Blood, was put upon the lintel of the door and the post as in Bible time and could be seen plain at a distance, and then if the Life, as being termed the Blood of a corruptible, of an immoral person be placed there, it would not protect you, but it would hide that innocent and pure and spotless Life, as being termed the Blood.
The Life that was offered up as a sacrifice, it was a spotless Life. GOD calls for the perfect expression, the Virgin Life of expression to be presented as a sacrifice for the redemption — not only for the redemption of some but for the redemption of everyone. Therefore, the Perfect Life must be seen or else the life or blood that is not the kind that is appropriate as a means for protection, as a means of protection and as a means of hiding that which is protected from the destroyers, that life cannot be seen. If that life cannot be seen, why then, it cannot protect them. That is the Mystery!
So often some claim to be believers in GOD, as believers of MINE even, and believers in GOD as believers in GOD invisibly discerned. With such an invisible concept of GOD as you discern HIM from your suppositional realm or concept or version, and observe HIM invisibly as a Supernatural Spirit and Spirit alone, yet, with such faith as you claim to have and refuse to live exactly according to the Life and the Teaching of Jesus as recorded, and the Life as requested of Him, when the destroying angel comes along, he can destroy you and your goods — can destroy you and your things because the Life of Christ, as being termed the Blood, cannot be seen and it cannot hide you from him.
Then I say, it is a privilege. I thought of so many stores and different places having not the protection; but every true follower of MINE who lived and lives exactly according to MY Teaching, they have been protected from start to finish, for I have said,
"Lo, I will be with you,"
But if they have not lived according to MY Teaching, if they have family — so-called mother, father, sister and brother and others mortal mindedly conceived in consciousness and consideration and applied to that of theirs, such a blood and such a life will merely attract destruction and cause those things to be destroyed.
"If you sow to the flesh, you shall of the flesh reap corruption, but if you sow to the Spirit, you shall of the Spirit reap Life Everlasting."
This is not a supposition it is a declaration. GOD did not merely say "I imagine such will happen;" GOD said through the mouth. of the apostle,
"If ye sow to the Spirit, ye sha11 of the Spirit reap life everlasting, but if ye sow to the flesh, ye shall of the flesh reap corruption."
for
"If ye live after the flesh, ye shall die, but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live."
It calls for a consecration. It calls for a wholehearted sacrifice as Abel's. The second born among the children of men made the sacrifice of the best and all he had, in other words, the best of all he had. It could have been said, the best and all he had, because he was willing to make such a sacrifice, for that sacrifice he made, it was an abstract expression in the actuated words of expression as an illustration depicting the Mystery of the sacrifice of Jesus. He made a Sacrifice of His Life by being Righteous.
But after all of that sacrifice had been made when Cain no doubt thought he (Abel) was dead, yet he Speaketh; therefore, he was not dead, but behold he liveth! The one who is willing to make a sacrifice of everything for Righteousness' sake and offer up to GOD the best of all — in other words, the best and all — that person who sacrifices all for Righteousness' sake, it is a matter of impossibility for them to lose.
I said, you cannot serve two masters! I know these are hard sayings to the mortal mind, for mortality desires to hold on to flesh and fleshly connections and sacrifice the Christ for the flesh, just to the reverse of what one would do who is following the Christ sincerely. That person would be as Jesus — sacrifice every thing for the Christ instead of sacrificing Christ for everything else. "When I see the blood, I will pass over you."
If the Life of Christ had been applied to your heart or to your mind, in short, and to and above those things that are under your jurisdiction and under your control, the Life of Christ had been applied there, and if you apply it by any way or means whatsoever, something else that I told you to sacrifice, I mean whatsoever it was I told you you would have to forsake or sacrifice or hate, in the fourteenth chapter of Saint Luke, and you apply any of those things there, when that destroying angel comes along, it cannot see the Life of Christ, as being termed the Blood, because those things you hold dear and near to you, you have applied them between you and the Life of Christ, your Protection.
These are hard sayings, but yet they are true. So when the speaker mentioned I saying not a true follower of MINE's places were touched, not only so, not a true follower of MINE will be hurt or harmed so long as they are lost in the Will of GOD and abide under the Shadow of the Almighty. GOD is your Protection! GOD is your help in every need! GOD will rescue you before a disaster befalls you. Aren't you glad!
Have faith! Be substantiated in it and unshaken in confidence and the Life of Christ, as being termed the Blood, will be seen wheresoever the Life of Christ is lived. I continue to say, if you live exactly according to the Life and the Teaching of Jesus as recorded in the Four Gospels and if you take the Gospel and read it and read any other part of the Scripture that is according to the Gospel in keeping with the Gospel of Jesus, why such is Evangelical and that is what Evangelism really means — the Life and the Teaching of Christ put forth into expression, His Nature and His Characteristics exemplified among the people. In short, it is Christianity, the Christ Likeness in evidence such as the word Hitlerism.
I often speak of Hitlerism as an expression of the life and the characteristics and the nature of Hitler. The Life and the Expression and the Nature of Jesus put forth into expression is Christianity — the Christ Standard of Life. And when it is lived and demonstrated effectively, matters not what comes against it, you will be protected, for the Life of Christ will truly protect you as well as it protected the Body called Jesus. That is what I AM talking about!
It will protect you and yours and all things that concern you. The Life of Christ is the Rock in the weary land! It is the Shelter in the time of a storm! The Life of Christ is the Name upon which you can build your shield and hiding place! The Life of Christ is it of which you can see your never failing treasures filled with boundless stores of Grace!
That is the Life of Christ put forth into expression to give you the victory over all undesirable conditions, sickness and diseases and ailments and complaints of every kind, as well as over sin, debauchery, vice and crime. I thank you!
(Following these last beautiful remarks, FATHER pushed HIS Chair in at the Table and the Banquet concluded, and FATHER immediately went to HIS Office. But as the Fount of Omniscience and the Wellspring of GOD's Infinite L o v e was overflowing, FATHER continued speaking to HIS Secretarial Staff and a few others, as follows:)
I AM just revealing the Mystery of the nature and the characteristics of those of the Redeemed of the earth for the post humanity days. By inspiration in Revelation, I revealed the Mystery of the Life of the Redeemed. In their mouths is found no guile, in the actuated words of expression, for actions speak louder than words.
There will not be the slightest reflection of beguilation in an illustration in action or in emotion. Deception will sever you. I have stressed that thought quite often, but it is alive now in consideration — the Mystery of that word beguile and the beguilation of Eve and of Adam.
"In their mouths is found no guile,"
not even the slightest sense of guile or gelation, for the serpent beguiled the woman and the woman beguiled or despatched the man. If it had not been for that disobedient son, the serpent, there would not have been any sin.
When John caught the glimpse of the Mystery in his Revelationic prediction and said he saw the hundred and forty and four thousand which followed the Lamb, which followed the Lamb whithersoever He goeth, that is what I was speaking about a little while ago, those who are followers of the Lamb; in their mouths is no deception. In an illustrated actuated word, there will not be a beguiled word heard—deception, deceit, falsity, of anything that would tend to pervert, for that is the way the woman was beguiled by the beguilation of the serpent transmitted.
That is the Mystery of the serpent having a poison fang. His tongue is poison, you see. That is the Mystery of the natural serpent, the animal that crawls on its belly, having a poisonous tongue. His poison is in his tongue. That is the Mystery of it! The poison of life is in the tongue of the blasphemer, the tattler, the slanderer; in short, the beguiler. It is the poison in expression that poisons whatsoever it touches; but not any of that is in the mouth of those who follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth, for He did not have the slightest tendency of mortality for beguilation or deception to deceive, to cheat a person or anything out of knowledge of the Truth by deception.
"These are they which are not defiled with women, for they are virgins."
They are pure; they are spotless; they are undefiled; in other words, they are not polluted, they are unadulterated by the adulteration of the adulterers who adulterate things by participation.
So it means something to follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth Every actuated word of expression that carries in its emotional vibrational expression, deception or beguilation, is purged from £he heart and the mind and from the mouth of him that expresses; therefore, in the mouth is found no guile, the one that expresses who is a follower that follows the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. That is the Mystery!
Truly might have Malachi said,
"He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them."
It was essential. It was a prediction of your deception and of what I AM now fulfilling. Truly might have Jesus said,
"Every branch in me that bringeth forth fruit, he purges it that it might bring forth more fruit."
That particular quotation as being termed the Gospel of Jesus and His Words, they were predictions, but those predictions I AM now fulfilling.
"Every branch that abided not in me (Jesus said) he taketh it away. Every branch that abided in me, he purges it that it might bring forth more fruit."
That is the Mystery of the purging process going on and that is the Mystery of the branches being taken away from ME. There are more corruptible branches to be taken away if they do not stay and will not be purged. Aren't you glad! That is not a supposition. You see the Scripture fulfilled and being fulfilled daily.
You can just take that fifteenth chapter of Saint John and read it and see just what Jesus said I will do. You can see I AM doing it, fulfilling the prophecy of Jesus to the letter as well as fulfilling the prophecies as given in the prophetic age through the Scripture by the prophets, the sages and the seers. It is Wonderful
