FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE at the Banquet Table, Bible Institute
PART I
FATHER DIVINE's Message on this occasion as HE served the Banquet Table, dealt with the Independence of the nation. Stressing the individual independence of the people as the forerunner of the Independence of the nation, FATHER spoke as follows:
PEACE EVERYONE! Good Health, Good Will, G00d Appetite, Good Manners, Good Behavior; All Success and all prosperity, all Wisdom, all Knowledge and all Understanding to you I AM still bringing. It is a privilege to be in a place in consciousness where you know you know your G0D.
It is a privilege to be in a place in consciousness where the Spirit of the Consciousness of GOD's Presence adjusts matters satisfactorily, knowing within yourself once and forever, "If GOD is for you, who can be against you?" —knowing none can be against you. By this recognition you can declare with ME, your individual independence even as the nation declared it as a country — in other words, as the
country declared it as a nation.
We shall not be discouraged neither be disturbed in the slightest degree, until we shall have universally established the true meanings and the Spirit of the Declaration of Independence within us. True Americanism must be converted into true Evangelism, and the true spirit and meaning of independence must be brought to fruition within us vividly until we can express the spirit of supremacy from every angle expressible; for when the spirit of independence is brought to fruition, with the Declaration of Independence and the meanings of it, there and then such an independence developed within us will be the spirit and the meanings of supremacy, and the supremacy of which men have been speaking will be a living reality within us.
The supremacy of men, of nations, of races and of peoples, as supremacy may be termed, when it is developed in individuals, it must be the fruition of independence though the righteousness of GOD as transmitted, and the Life of GOD through HIS independence must be brought to fruition in individuals. They must harmonize wholeheartedly with the Infinite — the Supreme One, and the Spirit of the Supreme One will produce the spirit of supremacy. Those of you who live it and express it will be expressing the spirit of supremacy. For this cause we are rejoicing and we are exceedingly glad.
I speak, yet I listen: I hear, and I AM observing. That which I have spoken, I have brought into existence even while I AM speaking and while I AM hearing. This is not a supposition, it is a declaration of the Predictor — one eternal Truth transmitted as a declaration when it is spoken within us, knowing once and forever that which was spoken into existence in the beginning of the creation, it was a prediction as it may be termed, but it was merely a command; but to mankind, or to the human mind, it could have been termed a prediction. GOD said:"Let there be light"—immediately light appeared according to the Scripture. It was a prediction in the command, the request of the Almighty.
Oh, it is a privilege to realize the mystery, and to live it and express it continually, until you lose all sight of dependence and the spirit of dependence, and lift yourselves in the place of the spirit and the meanings of independence, and express it individually, even as the country declared it and expressed it as a nation! Then I say, that which I have spoken into consideration, if I do not say a word, or move a finger in the act of expression, I shall bring it to pass and you shall observe it, for it is "Not by power, nor by might, but by my spirit ..." Hence, if you speak positive words of faith, that which is spoken even through the most insignificant, if they are powerless so far as physical ability is concerned, if they are powerless, so far as mental ability is concerned, the very words that you have spoken by faith will take form, for it is not you that performs it, it is GOD. Aren't you glad?
That which I have spoken into consideration, I shall not deviate from MY assertions until I shall have established it in reality materially and physically among the people, and all shall recognize GOD's Actual Presence and shall enjoy the spirit of independence and the spirit of supremacy when it is brought to fruition within you.
How glorious it is to live in such a recognition! Do not think that your physical power nor your actions will perform it. That which has been spoken into consideration will be fulfilled with or without a person. I need not make an effort Personally to carry out MY endeavors: It is not by MY physical power; it is not by MY physical actions; it is not by a gesture or any such expression from a personal point of view as a personal demonstrator, but the very Spirit of MY Presence will perform that which I have spoken, for it is spoken into consideration. It shall be fulfilled with or without a person.
We shall have a Righteous Government, and just as I have it on MY immediate staff, so shall I have it universally, or else bodies shall not be upon the face of the earth. Aren't you glad? It is not by the power of a physical hand but by MY Spirit, by MY Mind, and it is by MY Word declares your GOD.
Oh, it is a privilege to live in the Actual Presence of GOD, and realize once and for all times that which is spoken into consideration as a command or as a request or as a statement, those things are real, for they are predictions and the predictions that are made by the Spirit of Truth that will be fulfilled, for they are true.
I need not say more. I have said enough to stir up all creation's mind. With or without an individual, that which I have spoken into consideration, the Spirit and the Presence of the Infinite One by your recognition will perform.
Take these thoughts to consideration. All of the believers of GOD or believers in religion that which is termed superstitiously in existence or in an expression, GOD in HIS own majesty will draw the essence and the substance of all such expressions, and cause the spirit and the energy, the ambition and the desire of all religions to be the coworkers and the endorsers of what I AM telling you.
How glorious it is to live in the Actual Presence of GOD, and allow these things to be fulfilled in you all. It has long since been declared as a word of slang of the streets ... I say, it has long since been declared as a word of slang of the streets, but I converted it and that is this:
"Be sure you are right, and then go ahead."
If you are sure you are right and are building upon a foundation that cannot be shaken, be substantiated in faith and unshaken in confidence, even as the foundation on which you are building, and you will be harmonizing with it; and through harmonization you will come into the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose with it, and by so doing, you will be unified together in the unity of actions, of characteristics, of disposition, and in the unity of the spirit and the blessings and the meanings of it. Through harmonizing you will come into the realization of that with which you are harmonizing. You learn a person by harmonizing with such a person.
I have had men to desire to study ME, MY Work and MY Mission. How can you study ME unless you harmonize with ME? If you harmonize with ME, wholeheartedly, mentally and spiritually, that which is within ME will be transmitted, and the Internality of the Individual will tell you that with which you are harmonizing. Oh, it is a privilege to know the Truth! The Truth will set you free from all misunderstanding, misconceptions and misinterpretations from every angle expressible, and GOD HIMSELF through HIS condescension will reckon you as one to be considered.
(At this point there was an apparent interruption by an individual who came and attempted to take a seat at the Table and was prevented from doing so by one of the angels. FATHER immediately saw the incident and adjusted same in a loving way, saying): That is a11 right, you may come and take a seat. I have often requested MY followers, coworkers and friends, those who are called MY coworkers and friends to be mindful how they entertain strangers, while yet, we should be courteous to everybody; but each and everybody, strangers and all, should be courteous to us and respect this Office. It is a rule that works both ways; therefore, we cooperate in the way of Righteousness, Truth and Justice, and we judge the people with equity.
Then as I say, as you harmonize with the Harmonizer, you become to be a partaker of the spirit and the mind and the understanding of the individual with whom you are harmonizing. That is the mystery! So take these thoughts to consideration and build upon this Foundation that GOD might abundantly bless you and cause you to be reckoned in the number of the harmonizers with the Infinite, for those who harmonize with anything they become to be partakers of the nature and the characteristics of that with which they are harmonizing.
GOD's Nature, GOD's Spirit, GOD's Life and GOD's Love and all that GOD actually stands for, those qualities are all harmonizable, and they are reproducible, for they are all as GOD is — Impersonal. Being Impersonal, they are as operative for you as they are for others. They are as expressive for you as they are for others. Hence, if you harmonize with GOD's Nature and Characteristics, GOD's unadulterated, Infinite, Immaculate Nature and Characteristics are all impersonal. As GOD is impersonal, so are HIS Qualities, so are HIS Attributes; and all of HIS Characteristics you can be partakers of such by harmonizing with them. Aren't you glad?
These MY followers put on the nature of Christ. The nature of Christ transmitted produces the very angelic nature. It causes mortality and the mortal concept of things, human nature, to wane. By the dispellation and the cancelation of human nature and the human characteristics you take on the impersonal characteristics of your Saviour, One who has offered all of Himself and HIS as being impersonal by nature, that you all might be partakers of that of which HE is representing.
Men will even so much as have a gesture and try to claim it. What business have you to try to claim a gesture, an expression, an illustration, a motto, a composition or any such thing, even the characteristics of which you are expressing? They are all impersonal by nature, for they are in the likeness and image of the Creator. When you express them impersonally and unselfishly, then you are taking on more of the nature and the characteristics of your Saviour and you are unifying yourself with HIM. By so doing that is the mystery.
Live in this recognition. Dial in on it continually, lo, I will be with you from this angle of expression; and this angle of expression, it is not the mortal's version, for this angle of expression is an angle incorruptible, undefiled and fadeth not away, for it is perfection. Then I expect you to produce perfection in all of your expressions, in all of your deeds and in all of your actions, for you are the reproducers of perfection by nature when you are partakers of GOD's characteristics. By nature you are the reproducers of perfection, for GOD is the Perfect One.
How glorious it is to live in such a recognition, to dial in on such a Fundamental continually and allow your fondest imagination of Righteousness, Truth and Justice to be changed from imaginations to your conscious recognition and realization, that you might establish that which was desirable as a living reality when it is made real in your conscious consideration by your recognition of the Creator and the Maker, and as the Saviour of that which is desirable. By so doing you will not be one whit behind the perfectors in all of your expressions, for the perfect picture will always depict the perfect until you will be able to individually observe it and visualize it and materialize it in your experience and be partakers of the perfect, the positive, the desirable, instead of the imperfect, the negative and undesirable. I thank you.
