FATHER DIVINE
The great question being asked by millions, "What is FATHER DIVINE going to do in the coming election," has been answered. For many weeks the question has been asked by politicians —"How will FATHER's followers vote?" Sympathizers, participators and friends throughout the land who follow FATHER politically if not religiously, have been asking, "How does FATHER recommend that we vote?" — while millions of believers and followers already under orders to "Stay your hand," have waited without question, for any further command.
In a stirring Message at the Banquet Table in HIS New York City Headquarters, Monday afternoon, October 26th, FATHER. Personally gave HIS answer. The question had already been answered by the Political Parties themselves, in failing to endorse FATHER's Righteous Government Platform and activities in accord with HIS Righteous Demand, but the world was waiting for HIS final Word upon the subject.
Thousands shouted enthusiastically as FATHER made the announcement, following a Message in which HE brought forth from the depths of HIS Omniscience the Wisdom of GOD in the language of men, for the salvation of them. Many had testified but one in particular who had come from California and returned several times, testified that she had been told she would be cursed or lose her blessing by doing so. FATHER referred to this and other testimonies in HIS Message.

PEACE EVERYONE! Now it is again, and yet it is the same time, since time and eternity have no end. There is but one time for GOD, if there are times with the children of men. But I have arisen to say, it is indeed Wonderful! I have listened to the different testimonies, I have listened to the different songs. I have listened to the different versions of your respective individual beliefs, but I AM pleased to say, those who have sincerely believed and lived according to MY Version, MY Version has always brought the desirable result.
The first thought I wish to say or convey to those of you who are metaphysicians and sincerely believe in the Allness of GOD and the nothingness of matter, from your version you should be glad of it. Nevertheless, if your metaphysical version will condemn you in your actions, and in the unfoldment of your blessings, why you should see and know definitely, your versions are not the identical. These thoughts should be considered. It is true, GOD is Love beyond all degrees. GOD's Love goes into Infinitude, the end is unimaginable, but yet when you stop to consider the reality of true concentration you can see, without GOD making a physical effort you are blessed by making your mental and your spiritual contact harmoniously. It is looked upon as if though it is something GOD is doing, nevertheless it is your faith in HIM through your contact with HIM harmoniously, that has brought you that desirable result. By such you are abundantly blessed.
The reverse is equally true. Of course it reads in the Bible, speaking in the language of men that they might understand,
"I will bless your going out and I will bless your coming in; I will bless you in your storehouses, I will bless you in your baskets, and I will bless you in the fruit of your land and in the fruit of your cattle; I will bless you in whatsoever you lay your hand to, and whatsoever you do you will prosper, by loving me and keeping my commandments."
Then it goes on to say, "I set before you a blessing and a cursing."
Of course it is the Law I have placed before you. I place before you the Law of the Spirit of Life that was in Christ, that you might live according to the same, and by living thus accordingly you receive the desirable result. Therefore it is classed as though you are blessed by HIM, but it is because you have made your mental and your spiritual contact, it is because you have walked in the Light that has been given. Therefore automatically your blessings are coming and others are being blessed thereby.
The reverse is equally true. It may be classed as if though I have cursed you, but GOD turns curses into blessings according to the conversion of the conscious mentality of the individual to whom those cursings are directed. If cursings are directed at you directly, if you are truly converted by MY Version, by the Light that I have so freely given, the cur sings will be turned into blessings when they reach you for you have been truly converted. It could be said that it is not anything that I have done, yet it is classed as if though I did it. It is because the reaction of your thoughts through your concentration, brought that desirable result of which I AM now speaking.
I call your attention to the sun drying your clothes. The sun does not dry your clothes, if you choose to see it that way. Now isn't that Wonderful! The warmth of the sun may dry your clothes but it could not be exactly directly the sun, when the sun is ninety-six million miles from here.
Take these thoughts to consideration. Through concentration, MY Spirit and MY Presence automatically will teach you wisdom, and you will recognize the Actual Presence of GOD Almighty, and will be able to cooperate with HIM harmoniously. Therefore I say, cursings are equivalently the same. If you consider as if though I have cursed you, stop right still and steady yourself. Each of these are equivalently the same in the way of application. It is indeed Wonderful! If you will apply the remedy of the blessings from the angle of expression as if though I AM blessing you, by harmonizing with ME, it will be classed as if though I have blessed you.
The reverse is equally true. If you apply your life to the words I have spoken, inharmoniously and antagonistically, your conflicting thoughts and actions will cause the negative condition to result and it is as if though by ME you are cursed. Yet I did not do it Personally. Your contact with ME inharmoniously and antagonistically brought the conflicting result as an answer to your thoughts. Therefore you have been cursed. It is indeed Wonderful!
These thoughts are well worth considering, In getting, get understanding, the great essential that you might be able to harmonize with ME. Through harmonizing in thoughts, words, deeds and actions, your very spirit and mind, and your body, will be in harmony. When this is accomplished, you will have peace, and health, and happiness completely, and naught will be able to hinder. So as I aforesaid, you may say GOD is good and does not curse. I know that mortal mind from the metaphysical abstraction of religion would desire to hold you in that version, and under such an indulgence, to cause you and others to believe you can do as you antagonistically and conflictingly please, and yet enjoy the blessings of these who are living according to MY Version by denying themselves and walking in the Light I have given. But I say to you, no such can be true.
It is written,
"I shall reward every man according as his works may be."
The metaphysical theory would like to get you to believe you can do as you antagonistically and conflictingly and volitionally please, and still be abundantly and equivalently blessed by ME, but I say nay! There are those who claim to be even GOD through the metaphysical theory of the word, who will attempt to indulge in every mortal versionated concept of man, and still expect to enjoy all of the good of the land—expect to be blessed of GOD by self-indulgence from every angle expressible—living in flesh in complete violation of the Life and the Teaching of Jesus, and yet desiring to claim the Sonship Degree that Jesus threw off for you that He might come in the FATHERSHIP Degree and bring your deliverance and others'. They desire to come into possession of the Sonship Degree's inheritance, and yet have not denied themselves of the fleshly versions, human tendencies, fancies and pleasures. Still they desire to continue to justify themselves selfishly, and claim their rightful inheritance when they have none. They have no inheritance as the Son.
It is written
"As many as received him, to them gave he power to become to be the sons of God."
If you cannot receive ME harmoniously and wholeheartedly, you cannot come into possession of the Sonship Degree and be an inheritor with Him and an Heir and as a Joint-heir with Christ. You are Joint-heirs with the Christ as was in Jesus, by bringing your bodies into subjection and by taking on His Characteristics, and living thus accordingly. That is the only way you can rightfully and righteously come into possession of the Sonship Degree's inheritance, for you are not the Son as said the Scripture, if you do not endure chastisement. "You are no more sons but b-s-tds", and the Mouth of GOD has declared it.
These thoughts are well worth considering.
"As many as received him to them gave he power to be the sons of God, even to them that believed on his name."
Coming into the Sonship Degree of expression, you must be the inheritors of His Nature and His Characteristics. You must speak it and act it perfectly, scientifically, even as Jesus expressed it Individually. Jesus was the Sample and the Example speaking in this day and in the language of humanity in a great measure in this dispensation.
If some person would come and say, "Your mama or your mammy wants you out there," you would say, "Where?" But what said the Spirit in the Sonship Degree as a Sample and as an Example for all of the Sonship Degree of expression in humanity? "Who is my mother and who are my brethren, and who are my sisters ... they who do the will of my Father." You are not the Sons of GOD in reality until you take on the Christ's Characteristics and Nature, and become to be a new creature scientifically and actually, by acting it out as perfectly as Jesus Himself expressed it.
Then I say, you are the Son of GOD when you live exactly according to HIS Word, dial in on the Fundamental, and allow the Characteristics of Christ to be reproduced in you, and reincarnated as well as "culcated" and also personified that you might be the outward expression of the reality of the Sonship Degree of GOD; that mankind might realize, there is a reality in this Message of Salvation.
Take these thoughts to consideration. Dial in on the Fundamental continually, and lo I will be with you victoriously, for upon this Foundation if you will stand, GOD will be Present at all times as HE was with Jesus Christ the Son. Even though you die, yet would you live. The third day the Sonship Degree was raised from the dead. Oh it is a privilege to realize what it actually means to follow GOD. It does not mean going around with a metaphysical theory, with that mortal concept of GOD among men, to be a believer in indulging in mortality and their tendencies, that you might have access in GOD and bring the blessings of GOD to them, but it means that everything that comes to an individual must come according to the Scripture, yea, at least I could have said, according to the Gospel— but at least according to the Scripture.
"I will bless your going out and I will bless your coming in; I will bless you in your storehouses, I will bless you in your baskets, I will bless you in the fruit of your land and of your cattle; I will bless you in everything you do, whatsoever you do you shall prosper."
Now these blessings, as I aforesaid, are not coming as though I AM giving them to you Personally, but by your contact with ME by living according to MY Version, the results MY Spirit and MY Presence are actually bringing into expression, that you might enjoy that which you are seeking.
Now I do not bear any record whatever, of telling any person or persons, nor saying definitely, if a person would go back to California or any other place, that they would be cursed with the consumption. Nevertheless, according to the Scripture you read it yourselves for consideration, the Word was given in the twenty-eighth chapter of Deuteronomy. It is written,
"I will bless your going out and I will bless your coming in."
If GOD has the right to bless, if HE can bless by you doing something right, or by harmonizing ith HIM, HE can equivalently curse if HE wishes to, and could justifiably do so if things get in HIS way. It is indeed Wonderful!
I know you would desire to live in the flesh, live in selfishness, live in vice and live in crime, and do everything to appease that mortal mind, and then have same theory of GOD that would justify you, but I say NAY! "That which a man soweth, he must also reap." Your contact with ME harmoniously will cause you to live, and your contact with ME inharmoniously will cause you to die. Now these are facts and figures too stout to be denied, and you had just as well to realize just what I have declared. Just think of the millians all over the universe; yea. thousands and thousands, hundreds of thousands in this city— who have contacted ME mentally and spiritually harmoniously. They have been blessed automatically without MY contact Personally, because they contacted ME harmoniously and believingly to some degree. The desirable result came forth and they received it according to the contact, while those who have contacted ME inharmoniously and antagonistically, negatively, conflictingly, and such like, the result of the same has been their portion. Therefore they could not be prosperous, they could not be successful, they could not and they cannot be healthy, they cannot be happy. When they contact ME antagonistically they cause the undesirable conditions to result, according to the contact with ME. Now isn't that Wonderful!
GOD would not be just, if it were not true. You speak of Righteousness, Truth and Justice, and you speak of Equity. Equity could not be expressed in the Acts of GOD if HIS Righteousness and Justice did not judge accordingly and reward every man according as his works or belief and contacts may be. Stamp that in your memory. If perchance there are those who have contacted ME harmoniously, if there is one, and you have been convinced that that person did receive a harmonious result as a blessing by the harmonious contact with ME, it is an open expression, telling you in the Act 0f MY fulfilling it, that the reverse is equivalently true if they contact ME negatively, or antagonistically, or conflictingly. You shall receive whatsoever kind of result you contact ME with. If it is harmonious, if it is positive, if it is agreebly, or believingly, MY contact with you will give you the result that will give you peace, and cause you to rejoice, according to your contact. It is indeed Wonderful!
As has been mentioned about our Righteous Government Platform in reference to the political world, MY condescension was to present Christ, yea GOD HIMSELF to the political world —to the politicians and to all Government—that HE might save them, that the Government of this country and other countries might not perish from the earth, nevertheless each Party has ignored MY Righteous Government Platform, and I have declared I demand all of MY true Followers to stay your hands. It is indeed Wonderful!
I have lifted up a standard for the people. I have proved to the world conclusively, GOD through HIS condescension from this angle of expression has lifted up a standard above all humanity. If they ignore the moral aspect of the civil rights I have exerted in MY Followers in the act of honesty, competence and truth, and other ways of expression, even if they do not know anything about ME politically, it is an open expression that they are desiring to ignore the Fundamentals of Salvation.
Then I say, the time has come, we must stay our hands until I give you the Command. No doubt it will be 1940! Not one of the Major Parties, officially and nationally, or conventionally, has come to ME and accepted of MY Righteous Government Platform. If they merely come to ME privately, as private citizens, I will not accept of it. I AM not a private citizen! They have coerced ME into being a public servant for all humanity. The Press and other publications, and publishers, advertisers etc., have made millions off of ME, and the Government itself has saved millions and millions by MY spiritual and professional Services among you taking millions off the welfare, causing thousands and thousands to return all stolen goods and to pay all old bills they never intended to pay. If they do not give ME some consideration on these grounds, aside from MY Political and Economic status from MY Personal Professional career, I say stay your hands. It is indeed Wonderful!
The time has tru1y come, GOD can and will if necessary, stand alone! Now the politicians and the legal representatives may try to find some flaw, or something to raise a doubt against ME, but I say woe to the man who thinks it. It is indeed Wonderful! I have not encouraged nor endorsed either Party—neither one of the Major Parties, nor the Minor Parties. They must accept of MY Righteous Government Platform in its entirety. Let them come across and recognize it and endorse it, and we will endorse them. It is indeed Wonderful!
Those who desire to see the Constitution of the United States of America lived up to, and desire to protect it and support it, every one of them—the Major and the Minor Political Parties, partisanly—they would have heartily endorsed the act of MY Followers in being changed from that Adamic state of consciousness to the Christ Consciousness, to legalize it and heartily endorse it, for it is their religious belief. That is what I AM talking about! According to the Amendments to the Constitution, yea the Constitution, you have the right to serve GOD to the dictates of your own conscience, and the Constitution has granted the rights of every citizen to do so.
Your conscious religious belief is that you should be changed from nature to Grace. You should be changed from that Adamic state of consciousness to the Christ Consciousness, and be changed from that old nature to your New Nature, from human nature to Divine Nature. Nature is name. Nature means name, and it is your name. Therefore, you should be changed according to your conversion, and according to your conscious religious conviction. You should be your conscious religious conviction. You should be changed from that old name to a Divine Name. The Party and Parties, Officials and Representatives who attempted to oppose it or prevent it, they were trying consciously or unconsciously, to undermine the Constitution of the United States. They were fighting unconstitutionally against the Fundamental upon which we all stand. Now tell them I said it! We will stay our hand until we have free access to register and vote without one of MY Followers being disfranchised, or being attempted to be disfranchised—which is to say, without any legal or political Official attempting to disfranchise one of MY Followers because of his New Nature because he has become to be a New Creature.
If they attempt to disfranchise one even in 1940, I may stay MY Hand again, and yet I shall continue to increase and multiply, with or without MY Personal Bodily Form, for when I AM absent in Body, I AM Present in Spirit. I have conveyed MYSELF in millions, and I AM still increasing and multiplying. I shall continue to reincarnate and re-personify, until I shall be universalized. I thank you.
