FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE, Integration
Many visitors from far and near found a place in the great throng around the Banquet Table of FATHER DIVINE at 20 West 115th Street, New York City, on Monday, June 18th. On this occasion there was one whose long black robe and crucifix and flowing white beard proclaimed his connection with an orthodox church. He was officially known as Archbishop of Russia for America and the Aleutian Islands. He listened with absorbed interest to the many testimonies and songs of praise, as he sat watching FATHER Personally serve the abundant Banquet Table.
A testimony was given by one who said she had left with her employers, what she referred to as—one of FATHER's papers—but understood to be The New York News carrying HIS Message. When she asked how they enjoyed reading the Message, she was informed that they did not approve of certain criticisms connected with race, creed and color, and a tendency to "knock", as she expressed it, reflected in the paper. Conveying the impression to those who did not know the facts, that this was FATHER's publication, she concluded by telling of how she had defended the policy of the paper.
FATHER responded immediately, singing and speaking as follows:
"If you live the life, FATHER will open every door, etc.
HE will open every door.
If you tell the Truth, FATHER will open every door, etc. HE will open every door."
PEACE ! Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite for one and all, and many other desirable blessings if you will only make your mental and spiritual contact and recognize this Infinite Ever Presence as a reality. It is indeed Wonderful! For this cause I arise at this juncture. Long have I been refraining from speaking this morning, but as the testimony of the last speaker has called MY attention and has aroused ME to speak from this angle, I must speak for the good of one and all, that others as well as she as an individual, might get understanding in all of their getting. It is indeed Wonderful! It is written:
"In all of your getting, get understanding."
Firstly I wish to convey and not only convey to you that are here, but to the universe—these commercial papers are not MY publications. I AM only contributing to them MY immediate Message, the same as I AM speaking in the atmosphere.
"The earth is the Lord's, and the fullness thereof."
Nevertheless, these commercial papers are not MY publications as a Person. They are the same as any other paper as far as the publications are concerned. The editors of the papers publish what they wish to. I AM representing nothing less than Christ, and nothing more than GOD. Condescendingly I came, and I AM contributing to these different papers that will accept of MY Message and publish it as it is given. That. is all I have to do with the papers.
MY Message, when it proceeds forth and goes out of MY mouth, it is recorded by those that are catching the data of it, and they do publish facts and figures—the Truth, and nothing else but the Truth concerning it. Therefore, all of the papers have the same privilege that The New York News has, and the California Eagle, and any or all of the other papers that carry MY Message. The only difference is, there are some papers that are prejudiced. There are papers of which the editors and publishers are bigoted and they do not desire to publish the Truth as it is given. That is the only difference between the paper that you are speaking of and any other commercial paper.
The paper you are speaking of—The New York News—and the California Eagle, especially, these two and other papers that carry MY Message just as I give it, they happen to be open-minded enough to receive MY Message and to publish it just as it is given by not adding to or taking from it. For this cause I condescended to contribute to them, and that is why you see MY picture and MY Name advertised therein. It is not because I AM in some , way connected with The New York News any more than I would be with any other publication, if the people would accept of MY Message and publish it as it is given.
I AM saying this for the good of the people, for in their belief in ME, as though it is ME, is a blessing for them and far all the nations. Through your belief, millions of you throughout the universe have been abundantly blessed. Your faith in ME, as though it was ME, healed you from all sickness, afflictions and diseases. Your faith in ME, as though it was ME, has pardoned and forgiven all sin and has made you pure and clean, and given you your true and real emancipation that nothing else could give. It is indeed Wonderful! Your faith in ME, as though it was ME, has lifted you out of the ruts and the murks and mires of human superstition, and has delivered you and freed you completely from all limitations, adverse and undesirable conditions and every expression that is undesired of you that could be imagined. It is indeed Wonderful!
These qualities are put forth into expression through your faith in ME, as though it was ME. Hence, your faith in ME, as though it was ME, has brought you your true and real emancipation —not only an emancipation from sickness, sorrow and pain, but has brought you your emancipation from limitations, lacks and wants and adverse and undesirable conditions. It has brought you your emancipation from sickness, from diseases, from sorrow, from sin, from death and from h--l and the grave. It is indeed Wonderful!
Therefore, your faith in ME, as though it was ME, is worth all the world to you! For this cause I arose, that I might convey this Message that others might learn as well as you, I AM not publishing any negative expressions of criticism or accusation against another, unless there is a cause for it. And this I AM doing for the sake of mankind that they may not doubt ME, for your faith in ME has brought you all of these desirable blessings, and the reverse is equally true—if you disbelieve or doubt ME, such adverse conditions will come to you that you have had before. It is indeed Wonderful!
I AM stressing this Message and the mystery that seems to be hidden by many of the individuals that are distributing and selling the different papers that carry MY Message. They seem to think it is MY paper and that I AM publishing this paper. Any paper I publish, is absolutely free! When I will to do it, as I have been doing, publishing the Divine Light, it is absolutely free. The Light, of Seattle, is absolutely free!
Therefore I say, if for any cause your thoughts may conflict with some points of view or some articles that are published in these commercial papers, remember they have nothing to do with ME. Humanly speaking I could say, Mr. DePriest I wouldn't know from a chicken. It is indeed Wonderful! But still, I further wish to convey a thought that may have been a thought in the individual. They may think Mr. DePriest is of MY race. I would to make a cancellation immediately, of that version, for Mr. DePriest is not of MY nationality any more than she is; and if he would have been or if he were, it would make no difference to ME, I would hew to the line—if it fell in line with MY Message— if the chips fly in MY own face; for GOD has no respect unto persons.
If any person will adhere, or in other words, love some special nationality, race, creed or color, because of the especial nationality, race, creed or color, that person is not even slightly reflecting the Spirit of GOD's Presence. If I thought I was of some mortal nationality, race, creed or color, I would have to eradicate and cancellate every mortal version of the human affectionated expression—every idea and opinion that could be conceived that would tend to produce and develop prejudice or bigotry. It is indeed Wonderful! I would not care more for a man that thought he was my brother, if I was a mortal body than I would for another.
These thoughts are well worth considering ! There are thousands and thousands of individuals claim to be representing the Spirit of GOD, the Christ, and Jesus, yet living in mortal consciousness, representing races, creeds and colors. They are far from even the borders of the spiritual realm. It is indeed Wonderful! You can tell a person, whether he is in the Spirit or living in mortal consciousness . when you hear him speak. When you shall have been redeemed and redeemed indeed, not even so much as a segregated thought will be conveyed in words and expression. Your expressions in words, deeds and actions will be of the Unification of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose, and therefore, you would not convey a segregated thought :"Who is my color? Who is my race? Who is it that is of my people?" or, "Who are they that are connected with me?" It is they that do the will of GOD! It is indeed Wonderful !
When men shall have been redeemed, not even a germ of the segregated ideas and opinions will be left in them. Therefore they could not think that a person should have any special favors or affections for persons because of colors, or races, or nationalities. That is the cause of so much trouble in the world today. So many disasters and every adverse and undesirable expression; they come through and by that prejudicial seed idea that has been sown in the soil of the souls of the children of men But I have come to eradicate them and to dispel them from the consciousness of the children of men and to convey the thoughts of love and unity of spirit, of mind, of aim and of purpose, ". .. that they all may be one, even as we are one." It is indeed Wonderful!
Now that lady may have thought within herself that this party was in some way connected to ME because of race, creed or color. I AM not representing races! So long as they represent races, nationalities, nations and different diversities of diversions among the people, they will reflect race riots, wars and divisions and every adverse and undesirable condition, from sickness and diseases to volcanoes, floods and flames and tornadoes and every other undesirable expression that comes through and by destructive and negative thinking. It is indeed Wonderful!
When mankind gets up out of the ruts of segregation and discrimination, of races, creeds and colors, and every other abomination in their concepts, then and there the earth will be Heaven, and there will be no more wars and rumors of wars, and race riots and divisions. There will not even so much as be a volcano, tornado, flood or flame, for the cosmic forces of nature—they will work in harmony with the people. It is indeed Wonderful! Every desirable and harmonious expression will be made manifest, when you shall have brought your bodies into subjection by positive and perfect thinking.
Cast 0ut of your systems every prejudicial seed idea and every prejudicial seed opinion that tends to separate and bring division, and the Spirit of GOD's Presence will work in an harmonious state of expression in your systems, and your physical bodies will be vigorous and will be spiritualized. even as your homes are now electrified, your bodies will be spiritualized, or be "spiritualified". It is indeed Wonderful !
For this cause I came and for this purpose I stand killing germs. Every mental and spiritual disease germ, that exists in the consciousness of men, I will kill it. It is indeed Wonderful ! There shall be no division among the people of the earth after a while. As it is under MY Personal jurisdiction and on MY immediate staff, so shall it be universally established. There shall be no divisions; and prejudices, segregations and discriminations will no longer have an existence, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken it!
In this high light of civilization, mankind talking about being civilized and living "in a Gospel land and a Bible country," yet, living in discriminated and segregated states of expressions, and in their consciousness they are filled with different diversities of divisions in their subconscious minds and in their conscious mentalities. And they are transmitting segregated thoughts among themselves, one to the other, and yet claiming to be intelligent. It is indeed Wonderful!
Why should I care any more about Mr. DePriest, than I do Mr. Roosevelt, or any other? The mortal mind does not know Who they are dealing with! A man is a man in MY sight, and if a man is wrong I AM not endorsing him, it matters not what complexion, or race, or creed or color he may be. It is indeed Wonderful! Right, shall rule, and not matter! Matter, materiality and mortality have been existing long enough, and truly might have GOD said to mortality in the name of Adam :
"Dust thou art, and to dust shalt thou return."
The mortal versions of men will cause you to
the dust—back to return. It is indeed Wonderful!
Take these thoughts to consideration and lift your minds out of the limited mortal version. of men, out of their theories and doctrines and their prejudices, claiming to be intelligent—and you will find yourselves coming in contact with HIM that liveth forever, and HE will inspire you with HIS Omniscience that will transcend all of the human intelligence.
As soon as a person reflects a thought as if though I should have some mortal human fleshly affection, or love or devotion for some race, creed or color, it raises MY indignation! If you wish to commit suicide, take such an appeal, or capsule of poison, and you will commit it very quickly—especially in this dispensation, in this age in which we are now living. It is indeed Wonderful!
Do not allow any man to convince you that you should have any special affection, or give any special favors, or love or devotion to any person or persons because of race, creeds or colors. As soon as that idea is conceived or reconceived in your consciousness and developed in your systems, you have committed suicide! And there is no forgiveness for him that sinneth against the Holy Ghost! Stop committing suicide and you will live! If a man dies, he dies because of committing suicide in some way or another. Live unto GOD and GOD will live in you ! GOD will give you the victory over adverse conditions and will give you life eternal if you are true and faithful and will live according to HIS Teaching.
I could talk right on, but the time seems to be well expired. There are others here desiring to speak, and of course, I never like to get in the way. I have striven to refrain from speaking from time to time. Even this morning after entering into this dining room and, listening to the testimonies, I desired to refrain from speaking because I knew there were many desired to speak, being more anxious to speak than I—while in the meantime we have visitors here this morning as on other occasions from time to time. We want them to feel free; we want them to know they are not strangers when they are in the congregation of the righteous. It is indeed Wonderful! We want them to know they can speak according to the moving, or the move of the Spirit within them, as our custom is that each person be governed by his or her highest intuition and move spontaneously according to his or her individual volunteer volition. By so doing, you as well as I will bring forth the Christ to fruition in your lives, and there will be the outward expression and the remanifestation of the Christ among the people.
Live it and believe it and eventually you will be it, and when you became to be it, others will see it and they will visualize it vividly. Visualizing it vividly, they will tend to materialize it, and they too in turn will be it. It is indeed Wonderful!
Now we want to say, if there is any person or persons under the sound of MY voice that would like to have a word to say, we will be glad to hear from you, and especially those of our visiting friends that are strangers.
Take these thoughts to consideration and deny yourselves and you will express the Savior! Even though you take these thoughts to consideration, and will not deny yourselves, and try to place yourselves in the way of others, you will hide the Savior. Christ is hiding in you, it is true, but if you will relax yourselves and be still, GOD will manifest HIMSELF in you, and all will see HIM and hear HIM when HE speaks, and HE. will give light and understanding to the meek. I thank you!
