And all of these things must needs be, that the Scripture might be fulfilled; and for this cause GOD permitted all of this to come to pass, that the establishment of His Kingdom on earth, and the recognition of His Actual Presence among us, might speedily be acknowledged by all creation. As in the days of Herod, so in the days of William Randolph Hearst, and here is another instance where the Lord of the nations proves to us, history is again repeating itself. The cruel King Herod, when he heard the proclamation of the wise men of the Birth of the Savior, he gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together and demanded of them where christ would be born, for it was declared that Christ would rule the people; and this cruel king maliciously and secretly sought to destroy the Savior of men. But after a time his own poisoned mind brought him the reward of his labor, and when his efforts failed and he was mocked by the wise men, he was exceedingly wroth, and sent forth and slew all of the male children from two years and under throughout Bethlehem and in all of the coast thereof. But the mission of Christ was fore-ordained and the young child surmounted all of these wicked attempts of destruction by King Herod, and finally the old king died without the gratification of his vicious mind. The very same drama of life has been, and is being staged before us, and we see Mr. Hearst, the King Herod of his field of endeavor, secretly and slyly and maliciously seeking to destroy Christ and His Mission, if it were possible. But his wicked exploitations and intent to destroy Christ and His Mission has given impetus to this great never-failing Movement and has sped its access with great rapidity. On this day, the truth of the base and evil plans of William Randolph Hearst came to light, and the exposure of his wicked desires to debauch or drug one who was partially dissatisfied at the time, because of deviation on her part, after having inveigled her into a net so complicated that when she gained soberness, she had denied her Lord and her Christ. Faithful Mary was the prospective instrument which Mr. Hearst thought was "his master key," and the ministers of the various denominational churches were his divers other tools which he would need in destroying this universal Church of Christ; but the works of Satan shall not prevail against the Holy Mission of Our LORD and SAVIOR, FATHER DIVINE.
At the Rockland Palace this two-day Mass Meeting was held specifically under the auspices of the New Day Publishing Company, at which time Faithful Mary requested to come before the public to confess her great sin in denying the HOLY ONE, and seek Pardon and Mercy of HIM that she might live once again in Peace and in fellowship with GOD and man; for she now declares "the Way of FATHER DIVINE is the way of Life, but the way of Hearst was the way of death," and in her downward experience of a year or more, she experienced everything destructive but the end thereof, which is death, and a final ride in that which sounds exactly like the name of Mr. Hearst.
The great crowds that were eager to hear the truth concerning this matter were out, some of them as early as five o'clock in the morning, seeking entrance to the hall which was interestingly decorated with significant banners and pennants and placards bearing mottoes and expressions of the Followers in thanksgiving to FATHER DIVINE for their healings and upliftment. There were mottoes and excerpts from the Righteous Government Platform and other records. The "March of Time" pictures were an added feature if interest, and all of this two day experience and entertainment was given gratis, according to the MIND and SPIRIT of the CHRIST, FATHER DIVINE, Who is a Free Gift to all mankind. The Messages given by the LORD on this occasion will be remembered throughout the years; and those business men and others who spoke on the same Platform with FATHER DIVINE, will ever feel inspired and blessed in their respective business because of this unusual privilege extended to them. The HOLY PRESENCE of the LORD made us all exceedingly happy, and in unison. Our GREAT CREATOR, we humbly thank THEE.
Mr. Lamb, one of the secretaries, very appropriately stated that this could be termed a sort of a review of the wonderful things which FATHER has done in 1938, although we do not observe years, days and months; but so many wonderful things that FATHER has done, so many wonderful things which were brought out yesterday. We had such a wonderful day; every moment of it was perfect! Mr. Lamb read letters from the December 29th issue of "The New Day" and a magazine reprint entitled, "Mr. Hearst steps down."
Rev. Battles stated that he was delighted to be present, and was happy when he learned of FATHER'S National and International and Heavenly Program through Lieutenant Battles, a nephew whom many of us know. He stated that "GOD works in a mysterious way, His wonders to perform;" and when HE gets ready, "He plants His Footsteps in the seas, and He rides "—not only upon the bosom of New York, but as I listened I could hear the sound of the waters coming from afar, from hearts that were beating with peace and of the great program of the ALMIGHTY, Whose Words are past finding out. He stated that he had been preaching for many years, but now his blinded eyes were opened, for he could see the signs of the time.
Mr. Sukoff, one of the advertisers, expressed his gratitude at being present in a very few words.
Mr. Spatz, another advertiser in "The New Day,' spoke of the great success he has had since he contacted FATHER, and he came on this occasion to show his respect and appreciation to FATHER for His Wonderful Work. He extended a "Happy New Year" to all.

FATHER DIVINE at the Rockland Palace, New York City
Peace Everyone:
("Peace FATHER DEAR!" shouted the mammoth assembly.)
Here we all are again, and there I sit and stand! Here I AM, There I go, and here I come! I AM filling all spaces and I AM absent from none. Aren't you glad?
At this particular instance I have arisen to say, while we have a good many of our visiting friends as merchants and business men, I wish to convey a thought to you and to all of the inhabitants of the earth— those of the political, social and business world. I came to emancipate business, profession, labor and trade, and to lift each and every individual to a standard where the divers systems can be unified together.
The capitalistic system and the labor system and all of the divers systems shall be unified together as they were in the beginning of the creation. Not only so, beloved ones, but I came for the purpose of causing wrongs to be righted universally. Individually they are being righted, for everyone who is converted to this teaching, who is brought into subjection to the Spirit of MY Presence, these people, this individual person and persons, each and every one of them, will pay their old bills. They will owe no man. They have learned by MY Sample which I have exhibited to them, how to buy nothing on the installment plan nor on credit; how to live absolutely independent, honest, competent and true, and to do unto others as they would have them do to you— in other words, as you as individuals would have others do to you, you would do ye also to them.
They have learned the philosophy of the scientific Mission of Christ in the Name called Jesus, the Law of Love in this teaching. They also have learned the mystery of the Key to the Scripture and the Key to the hidden treasures of which all are seeking.
Those who give freely, they receive freely; for what said the Gospel concerning the mystery as recorded by the apostle, being the Message of Jesus?
"So freely as ye receive, so freely give."
We are bringing to the surface and demonstrating the mystery of victory; how to gain victory by being meek and lowly in heart; how you gain victory by going to the extreme reverse to that which your feelings would suggest.
There are many things I could say along this line, but I thought I would call this to your attention and stamp these thoughts on your mind before you make your seeming departure. Our business men and friends, they will not depart from us when they be called to their respective places of business this evening, but they will apparently depart; they will be making their seeming departure; for when I AM absent in Body I AM Present in Spirit. As with ME as an individual so with these, MY business friends, co-workers and participators, for I have declared "Here you all are, and there I AM." I have unified MYSELF with the children of men, that they might be one with ME, that they might see and understand; that they can be even as I AM. Aren't you glad?
Now I would like to say once again, as I said yesterday, it has long since been declared that the MESHIACH— the MESSIAH, the CHRIST— was to come, and when HE comes you will get your money that the people owe you. Isn't that true? You know they told you that! Now aren't you all getting your money from everyone who is converted to ME?
Would it not be a better world if all where MY Followers? When all humanity universally shall have been converted into and unto this teaching, everybody will pay all of their old bills. Those of you as business men, ladies and gentlemen, all of your credit-debtors will pay you every penny they owe you. Isn't that going to be a wonderful world when all of them are converted to ME, when all of the people universally be Followers of FATHER DIVINE? Aren't you glad? All men will right their wrongs. They will adjust matters satisfactorily. They will do that which is just and right and honest to their fellow-brothers. (Applause.)
I think I had better stop! From an economic point of view, is not that a wonderful method? Now what about politics politically? What do you think about MY political plan? My Righteous Government Platform? Will it not be a wonderful Government universally, where all will be unified together in reality, as under the Constitution we say "E Pluribus Unum," (aren't you glad?) where in this country, North America, you say "the U. S.— "the United States," but U. S. means us. U. S. means you plural— in other words , you plus. Aren't you glad? Then when all shall recognize the Constitution of this great Country and become to be real American citizens by living Constitutionally, and living according to the Declaration of Independence, Americanism will become to be real Evangelism, and all of the nations of the earth shall be blessed by true Americanism, which I AM converting.
I shall even convert the "ism" of America and I shall work it according to the Constitution and cause the inhabitants of this Country to recognize their individual independence even as I do as an individual, and all the nations of the earth who shall come hereafter, shall come under this Constitution, the Land of the Free, where you can be emancipated once and forever, and serve GOD to the dictates of your own conscience. Aren't you glad? For this cause I sent out a request and an offer to all of the suffering people universally; but especially recently, a message to the suffering Jews of Germany.
If you notice MY PLATFORM carefully, you will see that we are inculcated in this wonderful scheme of things.
"The Government shall be upon His Shoulder."
I say,
"The Government shall be upon His Shoulder, and He shall be called Wonderful!"
You know you all call ME "WONDERFUL," do you not? You know I AM a Religious and a Spiritual COUNSELOR. That is the Mystery. Have I not been pleading your cases? Have I not caused you to confess your sins that you might be exonerated from your sins and from your iniquities before GOD and before man? I have caused them to confess their sins, have I not? That is exactly what I AM doing whether you want to believe it or not. Then as a Counselor, GOD, through His Condescension, has caused you to make a confession; has caused you to plead guilty to your sins and iniquities, for GOD knew, according to His Prediction, "He who confesses his sins shall have mercy, but he who covers them shall not prosper." Is not this a prosperous-looking audience? Since they confessed their sins, they look quite prosperous, do they not? They are prosperous because GOD blessed them and will continue to bless them so long as they continue to confess their sins and forsake them once and forever
In speaking through the "Psalmic" prediction, if you read it and talk a little about it, you will see most distinctly, in the forty-fifth Psalm,
"HE shall ride prosperously through the land."
We ride quite prosperously, do we not? Aren't you glad? And that is what it is all about, for
"He shall go forth,"
as said Isaiah on another occasion,
"as a mighty man, and shall stir up jealousy like a man of war."
Now this is fulfilled in your hearing: hence I say to all the inhabitants of the earth, those who are Believers and non-believers, whether you select this FUNDAMENTAL of Whom they say I AM or not, it has been selected and elected and enthroned on the minds of millions, and all creation will eventually see the hope of the redemption of mankind will be to accept of ME.
What a privilege dear ones! And when this is done, all of the dishonest acts which you have done, you will correct them; and all of the dishonest acts that others have committed against you, they will correct them. Hence, men of business, profession, labor and trade, the wrongs that you have been wronged will be righted by the recognition of MY PRESENCE by those who have wronged you being converted and being brought into subjection to this teaching, and all of the earth will see and know distinctly, GOD is a living reality among you.
I need not say more, but I thought I would drop these thoughts at this instance for your consideration: if all of the people of the earth— which is to say, all nationalities and languages, tongues and people collectively— would be converted into this Spirit, and be Followers of Mine, they all would go back and pay up all of their old bills, and not one would be on the welfare trying to rob the Government. Not a one would go on a job nor even on a position and rob his employer out of one minutes time of servitude; but would be honest in his dealings in words, deeds and actions and he would be honest in his business, labor and profession. When this is done, the Kingdom universally shall have come, and you will not at that time even need a policeman, for the traffic regulations will be adjusted satisfactorily, for all will be made committees of one as traffic regulators and we will live according to the code of safety. I thank you.
(With great applause and cheers, the multitude just converted their expression of Praise into a song which the orchestra played, and other speakers were presented to the audience, and the meeting continued on. Thank YOU, FATHER.)
Rev. Sherman S. Furr, Minister from Newport News, Virginia, who attended the complete two day session, spoke again on this occasion, and among the many things he said, just a few of his remarks at this time are published, due to the full program. Rev. Furr said he agreed with everything that had been said about FATHER DIVINE, and stated that he was sorry that the Reverend who preceded him in his remarks had gone out, as he desired to say to him that he as well as every living creature had to fall in line with this GREAT Movement. He said, "Every one in the world has got to fall in line with FATHER DIVINE. He is not playing around. There is no use in fooling around; just as well to admit facts— FATHER DIVINE has come, and has pulled the cover off the ministers of America, where they were playing cards and drinking whiskey and carousing around and doing everything that we were big enough to do, smoke cigars and cigarettes; but I have been here, this is the second day, and I have not seen one man or woman smoking a a cigarette or a cigar, not one; not one: not one! I dare you to go to one of these Religious gatherings of this character; of course, they cannot have anything like this; and they do not have anything like this, they cannot, because FATHER DIVINE alone has the KEY. I never saw such meals served for 15c as I have seen here. The young man who waited on me, gave me a dinner for 15c and there was more chicken than I could eat. It is perfectly wonderful, and I am serving notice on every man, woman and child from this moment, 'Don't you say anything to me against FATHER DIVINE.' I know something now, for there are so many things that you do not know that I learned today and yesterday for the first time. I learned today for the first time also, that the dollar I had in my pocket— I did not know why I had not spent that dollar; one of FATHER DIINE'S Followers showed me that 'Peace' was on this dollar. I did not know it. I am not going to say I knew it, because I did not know it. Just think of it! The GREAT EMANCIPATOR of the twentieth century has at last come on the scene.
"FATHER DIVINE has taught us we must not be concerned about races, but we must be concerned about humanity. I say, if you do right, and act right and talk right, you are following FATHER DIVINE. Think of our being taught how to treat our neighbors as we would have our neighbors treat us. Think of it! Who has been here teaching us that? Who has been here teaching us to pay our debts?
"As I go from you I shall sing the news and talk about our Redeemer, the Embodiment of our Salvation, the Name of FATHER DIVINE, which has set us free."
Rev. Furr said many other interesting and true things. He was much impressed with all of the commodities; how one could get a bottle of soda for three cents, a chicken dinner for fifteen cents, a shave for five cents, and a hair cut for only ten cents; and many other things at low cost actually startled this individual; but he said now that his eyes had seen these things, he was compelled to believe, for the half has not yet been told.
Mr. Lamb introduced another minister to the assembly, stating that this looked like "Ministers' Day," as there were others present who desired to have something to say. Rev. Hemm stated that he was five thousand miles from his home, and never thought that he would have the privilege of shaking FATHER DIVINE'S hand, or even speaking to HIM. He stated that the preachers have been misleading the people, teaching them to get Religion and prepare to die to go to heaven. He said Uncle Sam cannot use a dead man, then what does GOD want with him? He further said, out of the four hundred churches in New York you cannot find one in GOD'S Bible; then they must be man's churches. He said he would not take ten thousand dollars for this privilege which he was now enjoying. He stated that FATHER DIVINE was teaching things he never heard talked of in any man's church. "The light is turned on," said he, "and no one shall be able to hide. The gathering of the nations from the four corners of the earth had just as well to hear now, for the time is coming when you will hear, 'It is too late,' for FATHER DIVINE has truly come."
At this juncture it was considered a very interesting point, for Faithful Mary was now standing before the public to undo the wrongs which she had been guilty of committing, through her confession to GOD and man. She was now pleading guilty, and seeking forgiveness from a Merciful SAVIOR, Who alone is able to forgive.
A gentleman by the name of Mr. Selby spoke to us at length. In his remarks he stated that he had been looking for a long, long time for people who live in the Spirit each and every day of the week, and not only one day out of each week, but each and every day of the week and each and every day of the year.
Dr. Broadman took this opportunity to give a summary of the Work, and a brief explanation of the Cooperative System among the Followers of FATHER DIVINE. He told how, through this teaching of Love, union and cooperativeness, as taught and exemplified by FATHER DIVINE, it brought about the abundance of all things, and caused every one of the Followers to be independent and self--supporting, and thereby no responsibility to the Government of their country. This talk was very informative and helpful , especially to the visitors who were not aquatinted with the activities of FATHER.
At this time FATHER speaks again.

(Peace, FATHER, Dear!" gleefully cheered the great multitude.)
It is good to be here. I know you are happy, and I AM glad! I would just like to say to our visiting friends, those who do not know ME Personally and do not know of MY Work definitely, if you would stop and consider the significance of this Spirit, of this Work and of this Mission, you would consider it is worth considering for the magnetism as exemplified among you to draw the masses and hold them together.
In business, profession, labor or trade, the Spirit of MY Presence through harmonization could and would be with you to draw the masses to you wheresoever you are. Why should your stores be vacant? Why should you merely have one or two customers? Why is it you do not fill your business places the same as I fill this auditorium? This Mighty, Holy Love! This magnetism, this Magnetic Current of GOD'S Infiniteness has more power over the minds of the children of men than the earth has gravitation.
The earth has a gravitation, it is true, but GOD in His Infinite Love, with magnetism can attract and draw millions and millions from every direction by harmonization. If for a selfish purpose you seek ME, you can see most distinctly, it is essential for you to Accept of ME.
There are many things that I could say, but I will save more for the last. There are other speakers to speak, and yet you all delight in hearing ME, but I enjoy hearing others, for I hear MYSELF when you are asleep.
Last night after twelve 0'clock, after leaving here, I went to My Banquet Hall and served a Banquet, the dining room being filled to capacity as usual. It was about four or five o'clock when I retired this morning; then going down to the Banquet Hall before I left this morning, I served the banquet the same as usual, having the crowds there almost the same, especially when I started speaking. They appear from somewhere. It just draws them. Aren't you glad? So the dining room was filled pretty well to capacity this morning, and yet there were many in the other parts of the building, in the auditorium and around who could hear over the loud-speaker while speaker is extended through all parts of the building.
I would just like to say, this Magnetic Current of GOD'S Infinite Love will attract and draw all things that are desirable. It will draw those things to you, and cause you to realize Magnetism is more powerful than gravitation. Magnetism of Spirit, of Life and of Love will give you an ascending Spirit, and power to transcend gravitation, while gravitation will draw things to the earth of itself, but at this particular instance we are attracting men and women in all walks of life; not only by that which is termed magnetism, but the Life that we are living, and the Sample which we are exhibiting. They delight in observing the mystery of GOD'S Actual Presence, for I have the Key and the Answer to every problem.
Have I not answered your problems? Are you not free from worries, from disappointment and failure? Are you not successful and prosperous? Are you not healthy and happy? As they continue to live in this recognition and remain even as I have lifted you from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit, for "cleanliness is next to Godliness," hence, they are cleansed mentally Spiritually and physically. That is why men cannot understand you.
When this people the universe over, by the millions, are willing to sacrifice their hobbies and their fancies, their tendencies and pleasures for the love that they have for ME, is it not worth considering? Every one of MY true and faithful Followers, they have forsaken all human affection for the love they have for ME. They all forsake human affection, lust and passion and all self-indulgence for Righteousness sake, and they refuse to commit adultery with or without the law, for they will not use the law to commit the crime, for they know it is the same thing, even though they try to hide. I thank you.
(After this glowing Message by the LORD, the orchestra played a fascinating number, and following this, one of the secretaries read a recent Message delivered by the LORD at the Banquet Table at 126th Street, to which everyone paid strict attention. Thank YOU, SWEET REDEEMER.)
(There were still a number of speakers present on the platform who desired to express themselves, and at this time, we hear from Mrs. Wynne, the wife of the former health commissioner of New York.)
Mrs. Wynne stated that it was impossible for her to tell what a marvelous assemblage this was, and for the happiness that she was enjoying since she came into the building. She admitted that she had intended for a very long time to come up and be present at one of FATHER'S Meetings, but only was able to fulfill that desire on this particular day. However, she stated that she had been reading the Message in The New Day for the past two years intermittently, and has received a wonderful amount of help from same; so much so, that she could not be satisfied until she came up to see FATHER, and she was now expressing her appreciation for having come today.
Mrs. Wynne further remarked: "I have gotten so much out of FATHER'S Message. It has been such a very great help to me, a great joy and a great happiness, because I have known many trials, tribulations and worries of all sorts, and the peace and comfort that I have gotten from FATHER'S Messages have been— well, they have just been sustaining. I have never had anything to raise me up as they have, and I thank FATHER."
(Mr. Lamb, Secretary, presented another speaker, who was not at all a stranger to us: Mr. Madison, lawyer, who gave a very fine talk. A few of Mr. Madison's remarks were as follows:)
"Peace everyone:
"No one needs to be encouraged to speak in these audiences. I have listened to several of the speeches both tonight and yesterday, and last evening at the movies. While some of the speakers tonight were attempting to analyze just what this is all about, I could not help but realize that anyone who has attended this two-day session and has seen the movies of last evening, could not help but realize that after all, there is only one thing concerns him, and that is FATHER DIVINE." Now it does not matter what the newspapers may say, it does not matter what I say or what anyone else is going to say, that is; the only moving factor in all of this, is the Personal Appearance of FATHER DIVINE. Now you cannot get around it. As I sat in the far rear last night and watched those movies as they were, somewhere in the hills of Ulster County, seeing the children sometimes fanatic and yet buoyed up with the spirit of joy, falling as it were over each other, there was only one thing that was pulling them over and that was FATHER DIVINE.
"They were not interested in what the outing was going to mean; you can easily see that. They were not interested in who else was there, you can easily see that; but their only interest was the interest of FATHER DIVINE. Now when we observe that as an absolute expression of each and everyone who has been converted into this Truth, we can easily see that it does not matter at all, how the person who does not know what it is all about feels or thinks or writes, it is only as that person can enter into the appreciation of the Teaching and of the Works of FATHER DIVINE, that he is going to be moved by this great contagion.
"Anyone who watched that great crowd yesterday, such as I never saw in this auditorium, especially in the early hours of the afternoon— why, speakers could stand here and talk for an hour, and there would be a great crowd, and he would think they would belistening to him . . . speakers may speak, but there has not been a speaker on this platform for the past two days that could hold this audience fifteen minutes; this crowd is waiting for FATHER DIVINE.
"If I had one Message to give to the newspapers— if I had one message to give, it would not be so much a message of how much education there is in the Movement of FATHER DIVINE; it would not be a message as to how much interest there is, or how much value there is in the economic setup in FATHER DIVINE, which to me is merely a by-product of what it is all about; but my message to them would be, if they will not serve the sincere and devout Followers of FATHER DIVINE with their attitude towards HIM, and will know the Works and the Doings of FATHER DIVINE, that of itself is all that they need to know ,and is the true picture of the activities that are being carried on up here.
"I count it an honor beyond human expression to be worthy to stand upon the rostrum where FATHER DIVINE sits, and in HIS PERSONAL PRESENCE to express my love and endorsement for the great Work that HE is doing throughout the universe, and I do know as I have stated to several persons within the past twenty-four hours, I do know that it is only going to be a matter of much shorter time than we think; I do know from what has transpired in the past few years, and the most of you know it, when it has not been very long when a demonstration such as we have here would have been sniggled at by the public; but I do know, and you do know when you have seen the disinterested ones come forth even though from a selfish purpose to be in the presence of the Great Movement of FATHER DIVINE— I do know and you know, the time is not far off when this Great Work is going to show throughout the world what it is all about, and it is not going to be dependent upon the prejudiced newspapers to take this Message throughout the land, throughout the land, throughout the world.
"I thank YOU, FATHER, for this opportunity. I thank YOU for the wonderful Work that you are doing. I thank YOU for the privilege of coming in from time to time and enjoying the great harmonization that does not exist anywhere else in the world, and I thank YOU for the continuance of YOUR Blessings, and I love YOU, FATHER."
Mr. Booze, who is apparently always very shy, did manage to stand before the audience, although he did admit that he was not a public speaker, he stated that if the remarks of Mrs. Wynne, plus the speech of Mr. Madison, could be considered his sentiment, that would be his message tonight, and he would be highly honored and highly gratified, and perhaps the next time he will have more to say from his own heart.
Mr. Stephen Bliss did not want to be counted as a visiting friend, but he stated that he did not want those precious minutes to be wasted. He stated that all he wanted to do at this time, was to repeat his testimony. He said, "I am now going into the seventh year since I first saw and met and heard FATHER DIVINE . Some of my friends are here whom I have known many years, and I want everyone who knows me, or knows anything about me, to know that I have given my life to FATHER DIVINE and HE has answered all of the problems of life for me. I spent many years studying books. I was a preacher and writer and editor, and thought I knew a great deal, but I find now that I have known nothing all these years, and that FATHER has all of the answers.
"You know there are certain great problems that all the wisdom in the world cannot solve. The problem of sin, nobody could solve that problem, and take sin out of the world but FATHER. FATHER has solved the problem of hate. The problem of sin FATHER has answered. What is the matter with the world today that everybody hates his brother? I do not think there is an ounce of hate in this audience of ten thousand or more souls here tonight, and FATHER has power to take hate away completely. Where hate abounds, much more shall love abound; and the last problem is death. Go down to Fifth Avenue Library at 42nd Street; take down lots of books; you cannot count the billions of words in a book in the library. All of the books in that whole library cannot tell us how to conquer death. FATHER has come and has told us so, because the only problems in the world that are to all of us important, are the problem of sin, the problem of hate, the problem of death. FATHER has answered these problems, and the only way that those of us who love HIM, are trying to follow HIM, it is the only way that we can express what we feel in our hearts and say what we know about HIM is to say, 'FATHER DIVINE is GOD.' There were several more testimonies from individuals who were implicated in the crooked and perverted acts of Faithful Mary, who came forward and testified of such in the congregation of the multitude. One individual stated that he had hired the Hippodrome Theatre, where thousands and thousands could come and see and hear Faithful Mary denounce FATHER DIVINE, His Work and is Mission, and mimic the Angels under the power of the Holy Spirit; but this plan never materialized. He was making an open confession at this time, of his endeavors to help in the destruction of the Kingdom of GOD on earth, if such were possible, but FATHER has declared, "The wrath of man shall praise ME," and the time of Praises is at hand. This individual has been affiliated with a malicious newspaper which has written falsely disparagingly of FATHER and this Great Work; nevertheless, if he is internally as sincere as he appeared outwardly, the LORD, Who is slow to anger, and merciful to forgive, will remember his sins and iniquities no more, and he too may enjoy the blessings of GOD, which are offered to one and all. Thank YOU, our CHRIST.
The second young man, formerly a professor of this Great Eternal Truth, had much to say in his confession, as he was directly in company with Faithful Mary and the Hearst representatives during much of this deplorable episode.
Music and the "March of Time" Movies ensued at this time and after a period of about half an hour of this interesting phase of enjoyment, the lights were turned on, and FATHER brought the great two-day Mass Meeting to a close with this final Message, which filled our hearts with increased and continued joy. BLESSED MASTER, we love and adore THEE.

("Peace FATHER, DEAR!" rang out the voices of the multitude.)
Good Health! Good Will! A Good Appetite, with Good Manners, Good Behavior: all Success and all Prosperity, these and all other blessings to all humanity I bring. I have brought them into expression, and I AM "tangibilating," even personifying the Virginity of Mary, and the Holiness of Jesus. This is the mystery of what I AM demonstrating. That is why millions and millions the universe over are expressing the perfection of modesty and morality, because of the Virginity of Mary and the Holiness of Jesus being reincarnated and personified in the hearts and lives of MY Followers.
I rejoice and AM exceedingly glad to see that these who did come forth without taking them through the third degree to make a confession. I rejoice because they have confessed in part, I rejoice because you all know what you heard over the radio, and you know it was not true. Faithful Mary came to repudiate her statements she made in the malicious, felonious lies she told. This of course has been repudiated by the Spirit of MY PRESENCE transmitted and I have plainly exhibited before you and before your mind's eye just what had been attempted by the malicious and prejudiced newspapers and representatives of the press who encouraged and induced Faithful Mary as an individual to throw down the name and the nature of Faithful Mary, and take on the name which means nature of Viola Wilson, just what she was before I lifted her.
By them seducing and encouraging and persuading her to commit purgery as she did, why naturally, Ulster County made a general investigation of all of MY places, all of the places, whichever, where I had been and was represented. The district attorney, according to his duty, vigorously investigated and also had a good many of the Followers, especially of the young girls, as they may be termed, before him and before the Grand Jury. They found that it was only a frame-up, and I brought before your mind's eye, and before the audience yesterday, at least, three of whom were not married and had not been married who were before the Grand Jury up there for investigation; and while they could not be convicted by any means whatsoever, it was MY endeavor to get them to present their bodies as living sacrifices to GOD wholly, in the act of presenting themselves before any medical board of our State for examination, for a physical examination, that they might see and know definitely, these girls are all innocent.
I did not plan this, when I called your attention to it yesterday. I had not thought of it. There was one especially, not on the stage at the time, when I first called the attention of one of the stenographers to what I decided to do just before I arose to speak. However, there were enough of them here to let the general public see and know that which I have accomplished can stand investigation at any time; therefore, it was MY desire and I requested MY legal staff the privilege, or inquired of them, would it be justifiable to ask these young Angels to present themselves to the medical board of examination, to take a physical examination to prove their virginity!
Oh, what a glorious privilege it is to see and to know, you can find such young ladies innocent as these are at that age! Do you generally find such ones who are willing to present their bodies as living sacrifices for investigation for a physical examination to prove their innocence, to prove their virginity? They were willing to do so. Aren't you glad? One of them especially, had been physically examined here in New York City, to try to find something that would be in violation to the law of the State, but there was not one; not one that they could find that would even infringe on the Movement in the least, for GOD is the Representative of true Holiness and the Virginity of Mary by which Jesus was conceived. But this was prompted and it was sponsored by the spirit that was in Faithful Mary, in that body that told them that I committed those things with these young girls; and the investigation attempted to prove it, but I was ready to send others who caused it to prison legally, as it could not be proven. Nevertheless, GOD is His Own Interpreter and HE will make it plain.
I have made it so plain, men universally shall come to this recognition; for I have ruled the world, as I AM still ruling it with truth and with grace. I AM making "the nations prove the Glory of MY Righteousness, and the Wonders of MY Love." I AM proving to the world conclusively, "He who confesseth his sins and forsakes them, shall have mercy." Leniency has been considered, and the individuals have been exonerated in a great measure, for the confessions they have made voluntarily. Aren't you glad?
I did not Personally send for either one of them. MY Spirit is the "Arresting Officer." I work on the consciousness of men. I control them intuitively, and i bring them into subjection to ME. Aren't you glad? For this cause we are rejoicing, and we are exceedingly glad to know thaw each of these has made a confession in part, while there are others who voluntarily, willingly, without MY Consideration, desire also to make some confessions. Nevertheless, a confession in its entirety is the great essential.
The relaxation of your c0nscious mentality, the stilling of yourself wholeheartedly to recognize GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE is your only hope of protection and your only redemption here, now, henceforth and forever. It was very good when Faithful Mary said voluntarily today, that if it were necessary for her to go down on the same bench and repudiate the lies she told on ME, she would do it before the judge, and leave the results with GOD.
Oh, it is a privilege to realize GOD in the midst of you is mighty to save! Through every trial and every tribulation, through every opposition, through every malicious criticism and slanderous statement made by any individual, I have overcome every difficulty. I have overcome every trial and every tribulation, for GOD is Omnipotent. I have not done anything yet to what I will do. I desire to completely emancipate all humanity; not only those who are called "the underprivileged,:" and those who were called the non-privileged, but I will emancipate all humanity if they will allow ME to; for GOD through His Condescension in this TABERNACLE came as the EMANCIPATOR.
What a privilege to live in such a recognition, and to build upon such a foundation that cannot be shaken, realizing, what GOD has done for these under the sound of MY Voice, HE can do for all humanity; for as with an individual— in other words , as with ME, so with an organization. I believe all of MY Followers under the sound of MY Voice can verify, what I have done for them, I can do for all mankind. Aren't you glad?
Now "FATHER'S Love," I heard you say by composition, "is stirring up the nations." You know MY Love is stirring up all creation, for I shall stir up jealousy now as never before. "I shall stir up jealousy as a man of war." Aren't you glad? For the Spirit of MY PRESENCE and the PRESENCE of MY Spirit shall go forth more vividly, conquering and to conquer all oppositions, and all nations, all tongues, and all people who are in opposition to the FUNDAMENTAL. I shall bring the hilly ways level. I shall bring them low. I shall exalt the valleys, and I shall bring all people of the earth together. As it is on MY immediate Staff, so shall I have it in all of MY Holy Mountain. Now aren't you glad? It will be a wonderful place in which to live when all of the nations of the earth shall have been unified together, and shall have come as one man at Jerusalem, those who have been under-privileged, those who have been non-privileged, they all will have the same privilege, because of the privilege I AM now giving them (aren't you glad!) because I AM eradicating, I AM dispelling all of the versions and theories of men, which spell segregation and segregated terms among them, especially when those words are used for lowration.
They use the words which they use as segregated terms, such as "so-and-so," and "so-and-so"— they use those words for the purpose of lowration, as I said in MY Message as read this afternoon. There are thousands and thousands and thousands in this country alone, who could be filling positions according to their respective profession, and could have been, and could be, earning thousands of dollars yearly, had it not been for the segregated terms concerning such individuals, the segregated terms by which you are called. And while educators and teachers of the nations, as you call yourselves, you are ignorant enough to continue to tolerate such barbarism— if it is not physical barbarism, it is mental and Spiritual barbarism. Can you not see the mystery?
There are those who are mental and spiritual savages in this country, who may apparently be modest, moral and respectful; but I came to eradicate and dispel all such tendencies. Now aren't you glad? I shall have it all over the universe just as I have it right here under MY Personal Jurisdiction, and under the sound of MY Voice. After a while you shall not hear a profane word used. You shall not hear obscenity used in the language of men, for GOD HIMSELF is now cleansing them from all filthiness of the flesh and Spirit, and cleansing their mentality, that they might be new creatures by the recognition of the EVERLASTING FATHER, the Prince of Peace and the King of Peace, Who is now reigning .
I will put before your mind's eye— would you not rather have a country— in other words, have all civilization all over this wide extended plane just as these are under the sound of MY Voice and controlled by GOD, rather than being controlled by the dictators and savages through brutality? Do you not feel that this would be a better world? Would you not feel more safe in your community, in your land and in your country by being under such a government as sponsored by the SPIRIT of the PEACE MISSION MOVEMENT as examplified in this auditorium?
Not one of MY Followers is on the welfare; not one of MY Followers would go around begging and soliciting. MY Followers are not proggers. MY Followers cleanse themselves from all such by the recognition of the PRESENCE of GOD in the flesh. Aren't you glad? How many of you here, who, if you have a Mission or have a church assembly as this one, who do not take up collection? How many of you do not take up collection? I say, do not take up collection in your assemblies? How many of MY Followers who do not take up collection? How many of MY Followers are there here who do not use profane language?
Here is one more simple question that I might ask— of course, we are not saying that this is a crime, but stop and consider whether it is helpful or detrimental— how many of you here do not smoke cigarettes and cigars? How many are there here who do not commit the sins of the flesh?

This is the abstract, outward expression. I say, this is the abstract and outward expression of the materialization and the reincarnation and the personification of the Virginity of Mary, and the Holiness of Jesus. This is what it will be universally, when you learn to be real Christians.
Christian means "Christ-like." Now whatsoever you believe the Body called Jesus did, do ye also the same Do according to your Religious conviction on those things. If your Religious conviction concerning Jesus is that HE was holy, as holy as Mary was before HE was born even so holy you should be by copying after the Fashion HE has shown you.
How many are there here who do not steal? (A sea of hands was again raised asserting the fact that they were redeemed from these wicked tendencies.)
Peace , Everyone: Now how many are there here who pay all of their old bills? I said, how many are there here who pay all of their old bills? I did not see every hand. I AM speaking of every woman and every man.

It has long since been declared in Judaism— in the Jewish Religion by the old Bible, "When the Meshiach comes, you will get your money." When this shall have been established universally, and all of the inhabitants of the earth be wholeheartedly and truthfully converted, then it will be as it is with these of Mine all over this wide extended plane. Aren't you glad? Now aren't you glad?
Just think of it! What a world we will have when all shall be converted to GOD and the recognition of GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE will be their Guide and their Leader and their Protection, by just such a holy recognition. It is not anything that I do as a Person, but the mere recognition of GOD as a living reality, having become to be real, tangible and practical, adjusts matters satisfactorily. Such a glorious recognition! Aren't you glad?
Now I do not wish to bore you, but once again, I want you to show ME how you stand economically. How do you stand on the welfare situation? How many are there here who are not on the welfare? (Every Follower, it seemed, in that whole vast audience raise up his or her hand, and it was indeed a beautiful sight.) Aren't you glad? The City of New York should be glad when ten thousand right here in this auditorium or around ten thousand who are now witnessing, have been lifted from the welfare. Aren't you glad? All humanity universally can, and will, eventually be the same, for as with an individual, so with a nation. This is exactly what I shall do universally. I shall have it all over the universe as I have it on MY Immediate Staff. Aren't you glad? And on MY Immediate Staff in all business, profession, labor and trade, according to the respective profession and according to the classification of the individuals, for there is no division among them. As it is on MY Immediate Staff of every apparent so-called race, of the so-called five races, I shall have it universally the same as I have it here. I thank you.
As we were about to take our leave, as the hour of closing was fast approaching, and everyone felt richer, better, happier and freer and more united in heart, mind and Spirit, FATHER, just before making HIS SEEMING DEPARTURE, said lovingly to the masses:
