Rockland Palace
This beautiful and instructive little Message was given by our LORD upon HIS return from the Rockland Palace Demonstration which had lasted far into the night. Many visitors crowded the dining room as usual, a number of whom had followed FATHER from the meeting. But the hour was late and as tomorrow was another great day of rejoicing and a further continuation of the activities of the presentation of the various phases of FATHER’S great Work and Mission among the nations
of the world, our Savior spoke briefly but significantly upon cooperating with the Police Department and having the Police Department to cooperate with HIS Followers in putting a stop to attempts of burglary in different sections of the city in order that HIS Program of Righteousness, Truth and Justice might be further established here on earth among men.

Peace, Everyone: Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite,! All Success and All Prosperity; these and all other blessings according to the composition, you have! There are so many blessings you cannot count them. But to call your attention to something at this instance that you should consider collectively, I AM sure you will, and cooperate with ME. It has been called to MY Attention that the burglars have begun their activity down on One Hundred and Fifteenth Street again. Now MY Co-workers , Followers and Friends will cooperate with the Police Department in bringing a curb to such. The Spirit of MY Presence will be with you and naught can hurt you nor harm you.
But I would like to say just now at this instance, I request the honor of the office of the police who are on beat down there, to see to it that those who have burglarized some home or building down there, that they apprehend such a person or persons there and put them under arrest! I speak in the name of the Police Department as Captain of Police, especially in this vicinity. I request the honor of the office of the policemen on duty to see to it that they apprehend the burglars who have burglarized the home down there. They can do it if they will to and put themselves to a little detective work in their activity as detectives, whilst in the mean time MY Followers as non-legal representatives of the Police Department will cooperate with the legal department of the Police Department.
We will cooperate together continually in the act of bringing about a moral betterment generally. I AM sure we will accomplish that for which I came: to root up all corruption implanted in your communities and in your hearts and in your lives.
Now in reference to the hitch-hiking as just read: something that I had not thought of, but which was read at this particular instance, but it is very appropriate at this occasion. You will cooperate as I said with the Police Department as requested by Sergeant Rieger and the other higher officials in this vicinity, not only in this vicinity but throughout the city. When and wheresoever you see any child getting on the rear of cars, busses, trucks and other moving vehicles, as said the policeman, Sergeant Rieger. Do not holler at him to cause him to jump off or fall off, whichever, whilst the car is moving; but if you can, give a signal to the chauffeur to stop and get them off.
By this we will do a great work for humanity, not only for the Police Department in the act of curbing accidents, disappointment and failure. It is not only an accident at all times but disappointment and failure, for the children at times refuse to come home, they fail to come home in the act of playing hooky, hitch-hiking and riding on the rear of busses and cars unknown to the chauffeurs or motormen who are in charge.
For this cause it is essential to cooperate in the act of bringing an abolition to much of the disappointment and failures, disaster and accidents among this people. I thank you. Peace, Everyone: I would to say at this instance, we have in our midst, as usual, visiting friends. Of course, as you know, it is MY Custom to give all of our visiting friends a chance to speak if they care to, whilst I want them to know, those who do not know, you are not obligated by any means to do so unless you care to; but if you care to speak---have anything to say to us on business, profession, labor or trade, yours or any other individuals, you are welcome to speak according to the dictates of your own conscience or give us your name, address and profession that we might introduce you according to custom. (Among the many visiting friends was Mr. Charles Becker, lawyer from New Jersey, who spoke at this time. He stated in part, that since knowing FATHER personally he has been able to get at the corruption of the politicians in office in some parts of New Jersey and root it out by bringing them before the bar of justice. He stated that there are thirty men indicted by him, fourteen of which are lawyers, and they are to be brought into court some time in the early part of this month. Mr. Becker concluded by thanking FATHER for HIS Guidance and Aid in this matter and invited HIM to be in court to watch the proceedings. A number of other visitors spoke on this occasion , among whom was a Doctor Morey, Psychologist, also from New Jersey, who spoke rather briefly, giving praise and honor to FATHER DIVINE for HIS great Work among the people. As the hour was late and we had yet another great day ahead of us at the Rockland Palace, FATHER, sweetly dismissed the table and made HIS seeming departure for a few brief hours.)
