FATHER DIVINE

It was a glorious Sabbath Day! The Sun shone radiantly bright, while the birds in the trees sang cheerily their songs of praise. Within the Mansion the LORD abideth, and Angels walked through the woodland bowers, inhaling the fresh mountain air, and picking lovely wild flowers, until the time for the Morning Banquet. A group of young Angels from the City, had toured through the night, in order to join us, and to be in the PRESENCE of the LORD, whom they so dearly adore, that they regret being out of His PERSONAL PRESENCE even a day. They arrived before Breakfast.
The bell has sounded, and all assembled in the Dining Room to partake of the delicious Banquet that had been prepared. Seated around the Table, there were Followers from California, a lawyer, and other representatives not from the immediate KINGDOM who enjoyed the "Divine" Atmosphere and the Holy PRESENCE of the SAVIOUR, the CREATOR of all desirable things.
Surprisingly we were taken back to a former life, of which we all were so involved. FATHER knowing the road which we all have traveled, and being acquainted with all of our former Religious Lives and past experiences, HE unawaringly reviewed us in our past Sunday School Lessons and Catechism, and more surprising than the review, was the lack of understanding and knowledge that we portrayed.
One of the first questions asked most of the Angels by FATHER was, "What church did you belong to, and you and you?" The answer was Catholic, Baptist, etc.
"How many Books are there in the Bible ? Does anyone know how many Books there are ?" Various answers were given, but only few, if any, actually knew correctly the exact number of Books contained therein.
The next question asked by FATHER was, "Who is it here, whose name is the name of a Book in the Bible?"
There were answers such as these:
"Ruth, FATHER."
"James, also FATHER."
"Job, FATHER. When I received the name of Job, I realized what he went through, and I thought I would not want that name, FATHER, because I thought I would have to personify that which he was and personified, but I thank YOU FATHER, and I ask YOU to give me strength to go through whatever test I may have to go through FATHER."
FATHER asked: "And what is your name?"
Ans. "My name FATHER ? My name is Understanding Wisdom, FATHER."
FATHER asked: "Is there a Book in the Bible by your name?
Ans. 'I never heard of it FATHER."
FATHER asked: "And what is your name?"
Ans. "Oh FATHER! my name is Ezekiel."
FATHER asked: "Is there a Book in the Bible by the Name of Ezekiel? Was he a minor Prophet or a major Prophet?"
Ans. "I don't know FATHER, I never knew there was a Book by that name until YOU' gave it to me, and then I read all about it. I don't bear record now."
FATHER: "Now what is your name?"
Ans. "My name, FATHER?"
Ques. by FATHER: "Yes, what is your name ?"
Ans. "Irene, FATHER."
Ques. by FATHER; "And what is your name ?"
Ans. "Love Joy, FATHER."
Ques. by FATHER: "Is there a book in the Bible by the name of Love Joy?"
Ans. "I don't bear record of it, FATHER. I never heard of it."
Ques. by FATHER: "What is your first name, Love Love joy ?"
Ans. 'No, Love Joy, FATHER."
FATHER, turning to another, said,
Ques. by FATHER: "What is your name ?"
Ans. "Josephine Welch, that's the old name."
Ques. by FATHER: "Josephine Welch. Did you used to be called Judge Welch's daughter—Judge Welch of New Brunswick?"
Ans. "Yes, FATHER, I was supposed to be his daughter.'
FATHER: "If I did not call this up, I would not have borne record that this was the one who was called Judge Welch's daughter, so you see that is the great significance—you are only known as Angels in the Presence of the children of the Kingdom."
Now I called that up because there are a very few who know there is a Book in the Bible, known as "The Book of WISDOM." Although I have brought it through to fruition in bodies and caused the Spirit and the Life of WISDOM to be materialized, as it had been incarnated, developed and personified.
At this time, I bring to your attention the Book in the Bible, commonly known as "The Book of WISDOM." — I did not say it was after the King James' version. Ninety nine percent of the people, the common people, do not know there is a Book in the Bible called "The Book of Wisdom," but I called it forth this Morning for consideration, and I questioned each of you —the majority of you whichever, I questioned you of your former Religious affiliation, that you might consider whether you had read or heard of your Pastors or Priests read from any of these Books. I did it for the purpose of conveying the thought to you, even though you may be Protestant, Catholic or Jew, after the version and manner of men, yet the majority of the people among you did not know there was a Book in the Bible known as "The Book of WISDOM." A very few know it, but however, I have brought it forth for consideration at this time, as a Book and as something to be considered, as it is very appropriate for the occasion of this RIGHTEOUS GOVERNMENT MOVEMENT, as we are endeavoring to produce it and bring out of GOD'S Spiritual and Religious Realm of Life, all of the WISDOM necessary for the sponsoring of the RIGHTEOUS GOVERNMENT MOVEMENT.
Now this Book of WISDOM deals much with the request of man to the Officials. Those who are in authority, to deal justly, etc. The gist of the Book apparently, is based upon the excerpts from Solomon. It is a Book written by whom they know not, yet they know it is the doctrine of Solomon to some degree. It is a Book after the Books of the Ecclesiasticus, so I mentioned this to say, there are many things hid that shall be revealed, and as the time and seasons come, the Spirit will bring to the surface, the things that have been hid for ages and will reveal them to the children of the Kingdom, yea, even though many of those things were hid from the sages the Spirit of MY PRESENCE will produce them, and bring them to the surface.
Now this Book of WISDOM is a book well worth considering, dealing much with the officials those who are in authority—the request of GOD to them to be honest and true, etc., to be kind to those who are beneath them, in a way of speaking, and other most important points along that line of which is in perfect harmony with the. RIGHTEOUS GOVERNMENT PLATFORM and the. RIGHTEOUS GOVERNMENT MOVEMENT. For this cause, I have called your attention to this Book as though it was one of the Books commonly known as "The Lost Books of the Bible," but I thought of that when Understanding Wisdom came forth to consideration, this Morning, the Book known as The Book of WISDOM, yet she did not know anything about it, neither did she consider it, but by the Spirit of Prophecy and by the Resurrected Spirit, it came by some means to her consideration to produce the Spirit or the Nature of Wisdom, and that with Understanding. By this, she should produce all of the characteristics of it, and also be an Expresser of them, as one among the wise and understanding people.
FATHER asked a question: What Book in the Bible is it which deals much with the present day Civilization, in reference to Electricity, Radio, Telephone, Television, Automobile, and other modern inventions in this Civilization?
(FATHER called one of the Angels from the kitchen at this point.)
"Where is Justice! Justice come forth to the surface. I do not mean Brother Justice."
Sister Justice remarks: "What particular Book, FATHER?"
FATHER replies: Yes, what Books are they, or What Book is it that deals with the present day inventions?"
(Sister Justice answers. "Revelations, FATHER."
FATHER asks question: "Is there any other ?" Do any of you bear record of any other Books which deal with automobiles, airplanes, etc.?"
Ans. "In the Book of Nahum FATHER, the Book that YOU told me of, last night."
FATHER remarked: "In of Book of Nahum, you find it; mentions the chariots, etc. It is just the same as Sunshine's, Quietness', Heavenly 's and Bobbie's versions. As a rule Lamb may get a little different version of My MESSAGE than that of Sunshine. Mark and Luke have records. Their versions may be a little different from that of the other. Luke was one who was very positive in speaking apparently, and some of his statements which he made, they were very strict and apparently as the old saying is, without his words being polished up". Of course his statements were the ways and means through which many have found their deliverance, because he was something like Peter on many occasions, he would speak openly and roughly without his words being polished, as a polished expression would ordinarily be.
If you notice in the Fourteenth Chapter of St. Luke, Luke points out as if though JESUS said, and he records it as His Words,
"Except you hate all you have, you cannot be MY Disciple."
While some of the others, their
versions were,
"Except you deny or forsake —"
but Luke puts it very abrupt and unpolished, as a radical apparently, and declares JESUS said,
"Except you hate all you have; you cannot be My Disciple."
Some may say, "Well it means the same," but if it were spoken in that way, one who is radical would have to fulfill the Scripture. They may endeavor to produce that which they term to be hate, that they might express and fulfill the Will of CHRIST in themselves, see! That's the mystery—so it goes on. "GOD in the midst of you is mighty to save," giving WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING to each and every individual, according to the dictates of his conscience, and sufficient Understanding or Wisdom enough, if HE Wills to, that he might be saved, even though his version may be different from another. Now isn't that wonderful? ("Truly wonderful!" exclaimed the Hearers.)
To come through the shell of mortal limitations, every expression, and that which is not yet expressed or manifested, it must go against the nature of itself apparently, and resist that which is trying to hold it, to break the shell of limitation, and to come out FREE. Now isn't that wonderful? ("Truly wonderful!" voiced the Assembly.) Therefore, the radicalness of the Spirit in the person of Luke has been an expression and a wayshower for the VICTORY for many, and yet through his radicalness, those who are living, or have been living in selfishness may have a loophole whereby they can try to justify self, by and with the spirit of hate. Because Luke said, CHRIST said, "Except you hate all you have," it should not be the mortal hate, after the manner of men, your preconceived and reincarnated hate, but it should be the Awakened 'Spiritual hate of that which rises from the within, to overthrow the tendency of selfishness and selfish affection, etc.
One of the Angels said right here at this juncture, "I thank YOU FATHER for that. That has been a question in my mind for the longest time."
FATHER continues : The mortal hate, after the manner of men and not by an expression, not even from the within or from the without, but the re-action of human affection for RIGHTEOUSNESS sake, would cause the expression of that which would be termed "hate." The taking away of the first that the second might be established, will cause the re-action of that human affection, and mortal tendencies, fancies and pleasures to be expressions of hate or displeasure, and at times through antagonism, through the opposite expression being antagonistic, I mean one of whom you are trying to rid yourself of, and of the human affection for that individual, the re-action of such an expression may be an expression which would be called 'hate,' if that expression would express itself in opposition in the way of antagonism, you see, but as I have often said, if you are a natural person firstly, and born out of the mortal state of consciousness and enter into this Light of Understanding through self denial and consecration, those who would have been, or were connected with you, according to the flesh, before, if you make a denial of them completely, for RIGHTEOUSNESS' sake, if they are not antagonistic or conflicting, you might go right along, they would not interfere with you and you would not bother them.
Of course we would not like to produce that which is commonly known as hate in ourselves—I mean, produce it from the old realm of things, the mortal version, for if you did, you would be using the Name of GOD for a selfish and a hateful destructive purpose, therefore, you would be using the very Spirit and the Work of GOD abusively, and you would be abusing your power of Sonship or childship, or whatsoever you may be termed to the KINGDOM. You have the power and the right to free yourself from every human tie, from all human affections, and all of their connections, but you should not allow the human preconceived dislikes and hate to be re interjected in your daily actions or expressions for a selfish purpose under the name of Religion.
This is the mystery, but it is a great and a marvelous thing, when in all simplicity and harmony two persons may have lived together and understood each other, and when they come to the conscious recognition of the resurrected state of expression, and they are truly converted, they are willing to forsake each other wholeheartedly for RIGHTEOUSNESS' sake without having any conflict to cause them to dislike one another, according to the flesh, but with the love expressed as it had been, apparently, yet they could and would make a complete surrender and a sacrifice and self denial of all of the human affections and human connections for RIGHTEOUSNESS' sake such a person is making a sacrifice that is worth considering, but as I have often said, there are those who desire to rid themselves of certain individuals anyway in mortal consciousness, and at times, they use MY NAME, MY, Mission and My Calling and MY Work and its connections for a selfish purpose to rid themselves of something they were trying to get rid of before. They used it for the purpose of hiding behind, to justify themselves by so doing.
Such an expression is detrimental to the individual who would be governed by such a version. Truly might have I said:
"Let nothing be done through vain glory or strife, but all you do, do all to the Glory of GOD."
. . . That is the way it goes on.
Interjection by one of the Angels at this time, was as follows:
"FATHER, I never will forget, and I thank YOU FATHER for the way that YOU carried me through that experience, when the one that I thought was a son came up to 115th Street, and walked up behind YOUR Chair, and came towards me as though he would caress me in greeting me, in the same like manner in which he left me. FATHER, when I discerned his presence, I silently declared YOU more and more, and the Prayer of my heart was that YOU would enlighten him then to know that YOU were his Mother instead of humanly looking to me as the one he had formerly regarded as his mother.
At this time, YOU let something like a shower, which I considered was "Divine Protection" come over this body and YOU shielded me. Not more than a couple of persons in this great audience recognized what was going on. Mr. Humble saw him, and one of the Angel's heard him inquiring for me in the old name. He told Mr. Humble since I had severed everything with the outside world, probably it would be better for him not to embarrass me, and FATHER YOU just let him go on his way, after Mr. Humble said to him, "Isn't this a beautiful picture to take back with you, and doesn't she look happy ? I thank YOU FATHER."
FATHER remarked: "Someone did not think you were hardly old enough to have a son. Thank you for telling ME."
Several testimonies were given at the conclusion of this delightful MESISAGE from FATHER, and then the consideration of returning to the City, was given. The party left with pleasant memories and happy hearts.
