FATHER DIVINE'S Sayville Home
Still suffering adversity because they attempted to reject the Fundamental Principle, FATHER DIVINE, three years ago, Sayville, L. I., is like a battlefield. Every passing week brings further reports of devastation among the lives of the people that rejected their success and prosperity, their health and happiness, in opposing FATHER DIVINE. It has been said, "The mills of GOD grind slowly, but they grind exceedingly fine," or words to that effect. It is true that practically everyone who took an active part in the so-called oppositions, persecutions and prosecutions of FATHER has suffered adversity directly or indirectly; while sickness, accidents, death and destitution have been prevalent among the people, and what was once a prosperous Community, has long been full of vacant stores.
The most recent major disaster, occurred only a few days ago, however, when a school bus carrying pupils from the nearby Town of Holbrook to Sayville High School, was hit by a Long Island Railroad train traveling sixty miles an hour. The bus owned by Mr. Stryker of Sayville was completely demolished, and it is said that all of its passengers, including the driver were either killed or injured. On that Sunday evening in the fall of 1932, so fateful for Sayville, it was a school bus owned by Mr. Stryker — and possibly this same one — that called at FATHER'S Macon Street Headquarters to carry the Angels to the Court House.
The day following this latest event, which shared the front pages of the local newspapers together with the accounts of hit and run drivers, automobiles overturned, etc., FATHER happened to be at HIS Sayville Headquarters in Person. With HIS usual Love and Hospitality, HE received two bus loads and several carloads of the True and Faithful from New York, and it was much like the old days when they gathered around the Banquet Table, except that the premises have been completely redecorated within and without.
Returning to the City Personally on Sunday afternoon, FATHER was enthusiastically greeted by thousands at HIS New York City Headquarters. Visitors from many parts of the Country were among the masses that waited to look on that Holy Body and hear HIS Words of Wisdom that have enlightened the world, but it was not until Monday afternoon, December 23rd that HE outwardly spoke. On this occasion the Great Banquet Table was laden, as it is daily, with the Abundance of the Fullness of good things to eat, and as the true Believers do not wait until December 25th for Christmas but enjoy it every day, the Table was laden with chicken, duck and turkey, and other delicacies.
While FATHER served, HE spoke openly as never before about insurances of the various kinds, and of what the Followers would not do henceforth, especially in regard the Workmen's Compensation Insurance certain officials have tried to impose on various undertakings in which Followers are interested. FATHER stressed the fact that in paying for death and accidents, people must reap them, and HE referred to a second bus accident in Virginia in which a Greyhound bus went into a river with all passengers, as an example. This was confirmed by the fact that the Stryker bus already referred to in Sayville, was said to have been insured for a hundred thousand dollars, though the requirements for a school bus were only fifty thousand. In this case the one-hundred thousand dollars insurance did not prevent the destruction that followed, or make it good, and no doubt helped it along.

Peace Everyone: Righteousness, Truth and Justice with the Spirit of MY Presence ever with you; with the Knowledge and Understanding that surpasses all human understanding! With these and all other Blessings I will inspire you. When you realize this Love shall outlast them all, you can dive down in the depths of this Love, and you can lose control and identity of yourselves completely, by diving down in the Spirit of GOD'S Love and of HIS Infiniteness. Oh, it is a privilege — as I often say, to be in the Actual Presence of GOD!
While sitting and listening to the songs and testimonies, MY Thought went forth to those that have, as one said, — criticized; those that have opposed, those that have denied, those that have endeavored to falsify. The thought came forth for consideration, "This Love shall outlast them, this love shall outlast them all." All oppositions, and every individual that has risen conflictingly, this Love will outlast them — the Love of GOD, that goes forth into HIS Infiniteness, and reaches out to be as a Mother for all of GOD'S Creation. All that will bring themselves into subjection, will be protected by GOD'S Infiniteness through by HIS Love and Mercy, and will be attracted and drawn to HIM by GOD'S Magneticness — the purpose for which I Came.
As I said in that other little composition, "Millions of souls are waiting for you." While they are waiting with ME for you, you are waiting patiently with ME for others, as well as they are waiting for you. You may not be conscious of your Everpresence with GOD, but that which is real in you, and that which you really are, will be With ME even though you be a failure. That Impersonal Presence, that which is the reality, is patiently waiting.
Then I say, it is a privilege to realize, whatsoever you off handedly desire, it can and will be accomplished for you; if not for you as a person that endeavor and that desire will fulfill your ambition, even though you are inefficient. Just think of it. Whatsoever you actually desire! GOD would not give you a desire that HE could not satisfy. If your desires are unselfish, if your desires are non-fleshly, if your desires are immortal, GOD will not and would not impart a desire to you, nor quicken one within, that HE could not satisfy completely. There is a satisfying portion for every desire. For every request there is a supply, and for every problem there is an answer. Now isn't that Wonderful! The answer must be made to fit and suit the problem, to answer the question when it is requested. Therefore the Spirit of MY Presence, with the Love of MY Impersonal Presence, will answer every question, even though I AM Personally absent.
Then I say, this Love shall outlast them all. Men may come and men may go, even though they may be called the Angels coming and going, rising and failing, but the Spirit of MY Presence will be going on forever. This thought should be stamped in you; not only in ME as an Individual, but it should be stamped in you as an abstract expression of the identical, that realness of you. Whatsoever you may be, will go on with or without your personality, with or without your personal bodily form. Therefore the Spirit of GOD'S Presence, if you will live unselfish, will give you consolation by inspiration, to know within yourselves once and forever, it is a matter of impossibility for you to lose. As a person selfishly expressed, you may apparently lose, but with the right concept and the recognition of GOD'S Presence, and observing yourself, and GOD, and everything else impersonally, you can and will be substantiated in faith and unshaken in confidence, wherein you will realize it is a matter of impossibility for you to lose.
Then I say, "This Love shall outlast them all." Men do come and men do go. Angels come at times, from different directions, and go. Some rise in opposition or in criticism and all such expressions, when GOD in HIS own Love and Mercy and Compassion, came to save them. Nevertheless with all oppositions and criticisms, if you can and will be substantiated in faith and unshaken in confidence, you will realize as well as I, "This Love shall outlast them all."
While looking over Long Island yesterday and the day before, I thought for consideration, how those who thought they stood great in the sight of men, many of them in opposition to this Fundamental, now they are longing and yearning for MY Personal Presence and for the Spirit of MY Movement in their midst again. They can see I have success, I have prosperity; they can see I have the Keys, not only one Key as an abstract expression, as a Sample and as an Example, but I have the Keys to all hidden treasures. They can see I have the Keys to all Success and Prosperity, they can see and they must realize, they can only get them by living Evangelically according to MY Teaching.
For this cause we are rejoicing, and we are exceedingly glad to know, and also to assure you, "This Love shall outlast them all" —Love that surpasses all human understanding, supplying your conscious mentality and satisfying your every desire. Your subconsciousness can be satisfied. When you relax and seemingly go to sleep at night, your subconscious mind can rest at ease, for with Christ you are pleased, and He is pleased with you. Then you can say with ME, "This Love shall outlast them all." Regardless to how conditions may apparently be, regardless to how oppositions arise, if you are substantiated in ME you can be unshaken. You can be assured continually, by the Spirit of MY Presence speaking silently within you — "Lo, I AM with you always" — for this Love shall outlast them all.
Just think of having a security aside from every other expression of a security! This Movement this day, now, henceforth and forever, this part of it that is under MY Jurisdiction, refrains from participating with or entrusting ourselves with the insurances or suchsecurities that tend to express a lack of Faith in the Presence of GOD as your security. This is what we will do. It is our conscious Religious belief as it may be termed, from a political or legal point of view. As it is with ME, and as it has been, so shall it be with those of you, MY Followers; you will not endorse nor participate in insurances, or any such expression which tends to mistrust GOD and rely on the arms of man, or the failing powers that be, for help.
This, I AM speaking openly, for you have your security. Compensation Insurances, and every other expression; we will take a stand against them, now henceforth and forever. We shall not tolerate compensation insurances for such is but the outer expression of doubts and fearing, showing you and others you are mistrusting the Almighty. You are sowing the seeds of lacks, you are sowing the seeds of accidents, you are sowing the seeds of disappointments, you are sowing the seeds of failures and every other detestable tendency that insurances call for. This is what we will do if GOD will permit. I will declare, it is permissible, for this morning I AM permitting it! This we mean to do!
I know there will be opposers of you, and of this endeavor; but if you are trusting GOD wholeheartedly you will stand firm upon this Foundation, and you will refuse to be shaken even though all earth oppose. This is not to be under a bushel, neither under a bed to be hid, but men light candles and they put them on a candlestick, that they might give light unto all parts of the house.
The Spirit of MY Presence this morning, or this afternoon whichever, is making this declaration for all of the true and faithful: Live according to MY Teaching, and be non-doubtful — if you are willing to sacrifice to that extent. You have been paying for sickness, death. failures, disappointments, and accidents, and you have been receiving them. That's why this bus went down yesterday. It is because they paid for accidents, paid for death, and they got it. They pay for those things, and when those things come upon them they are desiring or trying to find someone guilty of a misdemeanor or some other violation of the Law — manslaughter, or some such expression — when they have paid for death and accidents and destruction. If you do not pay for them, you will not be penalized.
Every insurance an individual shall be hereafter forced to take out, the insurance company shall pay for it! They are paying for them! You take out the insurance for accidents, you take out insurance for fires, and theft, and every other detestable condition of destruction, and you are reaping such daily. Now isn't that something to consider?
If you know within yourself, you are not trusting in insurances, and nothing else from the outside, from the external, you will be careful from a personal point of view. I have heard some men say, "I had my car insured," or "I will have my car insured and I don't care what comes or what goes." Insurances are the endorsers of thieves and robbers, and they cause thousands of people to forge on such insurances, for the purpose of getting what they have put in it , out of it. Now isn't that wonderful!
FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE
Now these thoughts are well worth considering. Of course I know, as it was in the days of the Body called Jesus, so it is in these days, the mortal mind is in opposition to the Fundamental. The mortal mind was at that time in opposition, therefore Christ declared,
"If you hear of any man enquiring after Me, tell him I said first deny himself."
It is essential for each individual to make a complete self-denial once and forever, for "This Love shall outlast them all." Even though all earth oppose, if you are true and faithful and be substantiated in Faith and unshaken in confidence, while men may come and many of them may go, the Spirit of this Movement, with Righteousness, Truth and Justice will go on forever; will go on with Success and Prosperity. Although we know the oppositions will come from time to time to test your substantiation, to test you to see whether you are substantiated, to see whether you are unshaken in confidence, your endeavors should be according to your conviction, and your determination to even suffer unto death, and strive against mortality and everything else that is not according to the Fundamental.
If this you do, and take a stand for same, the Spirit of MY Presence will give victory over those things, for this is our conscious conviction; men should not by any means join insurances and pay for accidents, adversities and death, when Christ came to give you Life and it more abundantly.
If you are convinced you are living according to the Teaching of Christ, you should be willing to trust your GOD for your security, and be secured by the Spirit of GOD'S Presence, from all adverse and undesirable conditions. You have your economical security by living according to this Teaching and by being substantiated in Faith. You need not fret nor worry. Today may be called just a few days to Christmas after the manner of the flesh, according to the versions of men by calendar years, but we are privileged to know, today is the same in our consideration as the twenty-fifth will be. Not only so but we know we will have a-full and a-plenty not only on the twenty-fifth, but the three hundred and sixty-five days following the twenty-fifth until the next twenty-fifth appears.
If GOD has assured you of life, and of health, and of happiness, why should you worry? All you must needs do is live Evangelically, do what GOD bids you do, and lo, I will be with you. I need not say,"You should worry," according to the slang word often used in the world of slang, but I can say, as a Positive Speaker not speaking negatively, neither untrue, but Speaking the positive direct as One Speaking to you, "You should not worry." Why should you worry if GOD is for you?
"Trust and obey, for there is no other way to be happy, but to trust and obey."
By being substantiated in Faith, by being unshaken in confidence, by relying on the Fundamental and trusting GOD whole-heartedly, you need not fret nor worry, for GOD is for you.
Then "This Love shall outlast them all." If there would come a time as an appearance of an accident reflected in your experience, you should relax your conscious mentality, or keep it active if you wish to, so long as you stress your thoughts on GOD whole-heartedly, vividly, giving Praise and Thanks for the Blessings you are receiving, even though you do not consciously see them. By so doing and by so being, you will find that this Love is a Living Reality.
This Love shall outlast them — outlast every difficulty, every adverse and undesirable condition, every battle and conflict — outlast all things that are not according to the Fundamental. This love shall outlast them all. It has fought through forty-two generations B. J., better known as B. C.; it carried within itself the Victory, for it was and still is the victory the same as it has been, and the same or it will be, now, henceforth and forever; for it is by nature, Victory over difficulties. By Nature it has brought Victory hence when these conditions arise that are in opposition, all you must needs do is to substantiate yourselves in giving Thanks and Praise, and forget about the adverse or undesirable conditions, by thinking about the desirable being Ever-present.
We think to much about the positive; we have no thought for the negative — think to much about and concerning the Real, we have no thought for the unreal — and they have no space nor place with us; for our conscious and subconscious mentality are consumed in expressing and directing this energy in the direction of the positive, the real, and the true.
I can see those things waning for the lack of attention! I can see them dispelling for the lack of attention. If you pay them no attention, they will not have an existence. Now isn't that wonderful! They must feed on your attention, and your mind and your energy that you give them when it is the positive, the real. The negative, unreal and untrue is equally true, as far as that is concerned. If you give it your energy through paying it attention, you will give life and vigor to such expressions, and they will increase and multiply as you continue to give them your attention.
Just look at the Limitless Blessings we have expressed! Every desirable expression imaginable, we have brought them into actuality through giving our attention to them with all of our energy, and stressing our thoughts, our mind and our imagination in the direction of these expressions that we are now enjoying. By so doing, you can see them increasing and multiplying, although the negative, if there is such a thing as a negative expression, may try to appear and enter your consideration. Nevertheless, if you refuse to give space or thought for those conditions, and stress your minds vividly on the positive, the real and the true, the positive, the real and the true will come to you, and will be uppermostly in your consciousness continually, as it is established visibly, and visibly manifested. The positive, the real and the True, can and will be a reality to you as you allow it to be a reality in your consideration, by concentration and by stressing your conscious mentality with all of your attention on that expression and in that direction.
By so doing, you can see the reality of those things coming into expression here and now. You can see them, and not only see them but you can enjoy them. Houses and lands, yachts and airplanes, and every good and desirable expression, your human conscious mentality, yea, even your subconsciousness can imagine — all of these blessings are at our disposal through and by your fondest and heart's sincere desire. Your fondest desires can be abundantly supplied. Every desire can and will be supplied by directing you attention in the positive direction with the Spirit of the Consciousness of GOD'S Presence, that will give birth to whatsoever you are desiring and will create it and bring it into expression; bring it into observation and bring it into and under your possession, that you might enjoy it and possess it as your own. All things are yours, things present and things to come. When this shall have been established in your mind in reality, you can in reality relax your conscious mentality and trust GOD whole-heartedly.
Take no thought for yourselves. You need not take thoughts when you shall have established yourselves in the Consciousness of GOD'S Presence, for the Spirit of the Consciousness of GOD'S Presence is the Source and the Supply; hence in this Spirit and in this recognition, all sincere desires are supplied. Oh, it is a privilege , dear ones, to live just in the realization of GOD'S Presence; just on this side of Jordan, in the Sweet Fields of Eden. Then I say, "This Love shall outlast them all," Love that supplies every sincere and true and real desire; Love that is satisfying to the mind, to the spirit and to the body; for it thrills and fills every joint, every sinew, every bone and every cell; yea, every atom and every fiber of your bodily form. "This Love shall outlast them all."
Substantiate yourselves in it, and trust whole-heartedly. Be willing to sacrifice everything else for the Fundamental. Believing sincerely in your conscious conviction, this as being termed your Religion, will give you victory over every difficulty. Oh, it is a privilege, dear ones, to dwell in the Presence of GOD! I have often said, many of you may be GOD'S dwelling place — GOD has said,
"I will walk in them and dwell in them"
— but great is your reward if you are expressers and manifesters of the reigning place for GOD, where GOD will and shall, once and forever, Rule and Reign on the Throne of your mind as Lord of Lords and King of Kings; no longer just merely as a dwelling place, but a place where HE shall Reign and have Dominion, and be Supreme. As HE is, so will HE be; so shall HE be seen in you, as HE is here in ME. I thank you.
