Peace FATHER Dear! Peace Everyone!
I just feel that I want to say little bit more about the Immigration Bill that FATHER Blessed to be passed and signed yesterday by President Johnson at the Statue of Liberty, because truly that (the former Immigration Law) was one of the laws that was passed contrary to the spirit and the meaning of the Constitution, because it definitely made our Immigration Policy favor the northern Europeans. It has been in effect for all these years and I do thank YOU FATHER, for putting Your Spirit in we Americans that we now have the courage to disregard national origins and have an Immigration Policy that is now based on the worth of an individual, what a person is qualified to do and what benefit they can be to this country. That is the main requirement for admission into this country. (Loud applause resounds.)
So it is really history making and very significant, because we know that FATHER Personally called for the abolition of all immigration barriers and high tariff laws, and this is a milestone toward that goal. And we do thank YOU, FATHER, because it is truly wonderful, because this will open the doors more to the Orientals. It will open doors more to Afros so they can be Americans, and the East Asians and all of these countries whose quota has been so very low. Of course it will take two or three years, I think they said, to adjust it, but they will take the quotas that are under subscribed and give them to the countries that are so over subscribed and it will eventually adjust itself. This is really wonderful, FATHER Dear. ("Indeed it is!" came the sanction!) We truly thank YOU, thank YOU, thank YOU. I thank YOU to sing this song.
