FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE are loved, respected and revered by millions of people all over the world. They are recognized as spiritual head of all of the Peace Mission domestic and foreign churches.

Another of these churches under the Peace Mission Movement is the Peace Center Church located in Newark, New Jersey at 122-126 Howard Street. The building itself is not a cathedral by any means but it contains what really counts — the Spirit of GOD. People love to attend services at this church where they have the freedom to express themselves according to the dictates of their own conscience.
The Peace Center Church and Home Inc. of Newark, New Jersey has a home-like atmosphere. The original Peace Center Inc. was established in New York City and later moved to Newark. There is a chapel, large Holy Communion Hall, suite of offices for the Pastor, and residence for the members in the building.
A tiny but well stocked grocery store is adjacent to the church although it has no connection in anyway except that it is managed and run by followers of FATHER DIVINE. The store is a blessing to people in the community because of reasonable prices.
Miss Lovely Peace, vice president and treasurer of the Peace Center Church, members of the board of trustees and church officers take care of all the church business.
This is true of all churches under the Peace Mission Movement. Religious services are of a spontaneous nature which, in part, accounts for the air of happiness and joy always in evidence. People here feel the freedom to express a gladness that the realization that GOD is on earth in a Bodily Form has brought to them. This knowledge alone has dispelled all their worries and cares and they live the celibate, holy life of Christ according to the example of FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE out of the love. gratitude and appreciation they have for FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE.
The Peace Center Church has a branch in New York City at 13-17 West 128th Street and 12-14 West 129th Street. The institution is jointly owned by Peace Center along with the Nazareth Mission Church.
Services at Peace Center are much the same as other Peace Mission churches. Holy Communion services are the main daily religious serivce.In Newark a Devotional Service of the Rosebud and Crusader choirs is held each Friday evening. The New York City branch holds Devotional services on Tuesday evenings.
There is a Home for the Aged and Training School at the church in Newark and also in New York City where people are housed and given the privilege of an education. All educational facilities under the Peace Mission Movement anywhere are free of charge.
