FATHER DIVINE at
The Circle Mission Church
This truly dynamic sermon was given by FATHER shortly after several testimonies of the followers. One in particular told of having gone to one of the leading department stores of this city and visiting the knitting department, as her custom, for instruction. While waiting for her turn, she overheard several ladies and the clerk discussing their given names. One of them mentioned that in speaking of their names it was something like FATHER DIVINE. In the course of the conversation one of the ladies said she heard of a follower of FATHER DIVINE who worked for one of her friends saying she had need of an operation and the madam asking why she didn't get it. She said the followers said she didn't have the money they said, no doubt she gave it to FATHER DIVINE.
That's a lie, an absolute lie! The ladies turned to her and asked her how did she know. She then proceedeth to tell them she had been trying since the early thirties to follow FATHER DIVINE'S Teachings and she knew such to be a lie because she was part of the Movement. She explained to them that at times as was the case in other situations, the party might have taken the name falsely, in claiming to be a follower, if that is what was said.
The ladies then asked her, Well, where does FATHER DIVINE get all His money anyway? to which she replied, Who said HE had any? She told them how she lived in one of the hotels under the jurisdiction of the Peace Mission Movement and how FATHER through His followers, had provided such accommodations so moderately for everyone who would abide by the Evangelical Rules and Regulations. She said one of the ladies said she realized that because her father had once owned a hotel. Then the other lady admitted that the statement given by this so-called follower had been found to be false and had been rectified. She asked the lady why she didn't tell the others then, instead of putting out such false rumors. She said the lady quickly said, oh, she didn't know anything about the Work. She said she told them FATHER DIVINES Universal Work was open for inspection at any and at all times and there was no need for anyone not to know about it who really wanted to learn about it, and with that she left them and the knitting department for good, she said, as she wanted no part of it again!
It was after this testimony that FATHER, the Dean of the Universe, arose and gave unto the world at large this Ultimatum of Spirit and Life in which many vital points for consideration are dynamically and profoundly stressed, that none need err in the knowledge of the accomplishments of this great Work and Mission here on earth among the children of men! Read these blessed Words and you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that GOD ALMIGHTY is Ruling and Reigning in Righteousness, Truth and Justice in this Dispensation, even as His Son, Jesus, of nineteen hundred years ago, and bringing about Equity and Fair Dealing not only in individuals but in Government and in the nations throughout the Universe!
For Thy Righteous Judgment and Administration, ALMIGHTY GOD, we truly thank Thee!
(The foregoing statements are those of the transcriber, after which FATHER speaks as follows.)
PEACE, EVERYONE: Here we all are again. There I sit and stand. I AM Unifying the children of men all over this wide extended plane whereby they can be saved. Through the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose as in olden days, by being Unified, you can be saved! As I have long since declared scripturally, when you are Unified together and are with one heart and with one mind, all things are possible for them that believe! I declared and I have also written:
Together you stand, but divided you fall.
By being Unified, all things are possible with you as with GOD! Aren't you glad! (So glad, LORD! Exclaimed the assembly).
Thinking about the different experiences of believers, followers and non-followers alike, you can see the results of those who harmonize and coincide and unify for Righteousness sake together. I have made Righteousness Marches On an issue of an expression to be universally considered, for as Righteousness in the hearts and lives of men has access among them. Righteousness marches on, conquering and to conquer, though I said Righteousness and judgment are the habitation of His Throne realizing when you are established in Righteousness, in Justice and in Equity for everyone and shall have been established in Truth effectively, you have made ready for the coming of the Kingdom of GOD within you!
As Righteousness and Judgment are the habitation of His Throne, I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in the right path of Equity, of Justice and of Truth so that you might stand and withstand and be the means not only of saving yourselves, but the means of saving others with whom you are concerned and even those with when you are not concerned.
You retrace your thoughts back to bible time when the angels were going down
to Sodom and to Gomorrah to destroy those wicked cities! GOD told the angels
through them I spake and said,
If I will find fifty just persons in those cities, I will spare the cities!
and Abraham was somewhat disturbed for
fear that GOD in the angels might not find fifty just persons. Abraham said,
Peradventure, if thou shalt find forty just persons in those cities, will you spare the cities!
And from forty to thirty and from thirty to twenty and
from twenty down to ten just persons in those cities. GOD said,
I will spare the cities for ten just persons!
When I AM making you Righteous in the midst of a perverse and crooked generation,
I AM establishing the hope of their salvation, for Righteousness is the only
propitiation and the only Savior for the nations!
If I will find ten just persons in those cities, I declared through the mouth of the angels,I will spare the cities!
When they got down there to Sodom and to Gomorrah, they could not find but three Righteous persons in those cities! Can you not see the mystery? And those three Righteous persons were Lot's two Virtuous daughters and himself. Those two daughters had been taught in the way of wisdom and had been led into the right path, even as I have led you! So they were living Virtuous and Holy according to the scripture.
Lot said he had two daughters that had not known man, read the scripture for yourself and he was willing to give those two Virtuous and Holy daughters of Virginity to those wicked men of the city if they would but spare the angels, but they desired to destroy them. For this cause, the Angels took them out of the city and told them to escape to the mountains and tarry not in the plains!
GOD is calling for you now! Lot's other daughters and sons had lived in sin and vice and crime like the citizens of the city of Sodom and like the citizens of the city of Gomorrah; they had taken unto themselves wives and husbands and were living in self-indulgence and would not live virtuous and holy in readiness for the coming of the LORD; those that were left in the cities as GOD called Lot out of the city, they all were destroyed in the city together with all of the wicked of the city!
And Abraham looked up and saw the smoke of the cities afar off, going up. Knowing that it was the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in which Lot had lived. Abraham was much perturbed and much disturbed because he knew or felt that there would not be ten just persons in that city or those cities to save those cities!
So when they had gone out and had escaped to the mountains and did not tarry in the plain, they were saved by obeying the command of the angels that had commanded them to get out of the city.
GOD is calling for every nation, every language, every tongue and every people to get out of vice and crime and sin and debauchery of every kind , to get out from among your kindred and from among your selfish and sinful friends, that I might save you! GOD said, get out from among them, and they that had got out from among those in that city of Sodom and Gomorrah, were spared, saving Lot's wife that had so much human affection for the sons and daughters of the wicked cities of which some of them happened to be hers! She looked back and she turned to a pillar of salt! Can you not see the mystery?
But Righteousness was it that had brought Lot and his two virtuous and holy
daughters out of the city and saved them alive! I have declared scripturally,
yea, even in the Sonship Degree:
As it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man.
For the last two world wars at the time of destruction, yea, the time of extreme emergencies, I spared the United States of America because of the Righteousness of the Righteous wherewith you had been begotten of this Righteousness, (Can you not see the mystery?) and had been impregnated with it and had been made Righteous! So when the destroying angels of destruction of the aggressor nations and of the savages of the savage nations, had and could see that the Righteousness that had been established here was sufficient to protect the inhabitants of this nation, this nation was spared, and little or non-destruction came to this nation because of the Righteousness wherewith I had made you Righteous! Aren't you glad! (So glad, thank YOU, FATHER, so glad shouted the masses) I said:
Righteousness exalteth the nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
Since I have made you Righteous in the sight of both GOD and of man, I have protected you on every hand! I have saved you physically, mentally and spiritually and behold, I AM still with you! Aren't you glad! (Thank YOU, FATHER! So glad! So glad! cried the appreciative audience.) Truly might have one declared:
The other place may rage and vent her spite, but GOD WILL SAVE His Hearts delight.
Truly might have I declared:
Upon this Rock I shall build My church and the Gates of (you know what) shall not prevail against it.
Not anything can hinder ME! I AM here to stay and I AM going on conquering and to conquer every foe, to establish your going in the land of the living wheresoever you may go! As I said, in the time of the building of the Tower of Babel, you find that GOD said:
Behold, the people is one, and they all have one language, now nothing will be restrained from them to do that which they have imagined to do.
Even in that attempt of self-exaltation to build a tower up into heaven, GOD allowed them to express Unity to the extent that GOD gave them the power to be Unified sufficiently to declare the impossibility for anything to be restrained from them to do that which they had imagined to do!
The inhabitants of our present civilization; if you are one in heart and in mind in Righteousness and will establish Righteousness in your consciousness and in your daily activities, nothing will be restrained from you to do, that which you have imagined to do! And as it would have been with Sodom and Gomorrah, if they could have found as little as ten just persons in those cities. I AM talking about Righteous people, the cities would have been spared for their sake!
This country as a nation has been spared for the sake of the Righteous, hence we are still building upon this Foundation of the Ark of Faith that cannot be shaken! Hence, Righteousness exalteth the nation in other words, exalteth the people; but sin is a reproach to any nation and sin is a reproach to any people!
So then I say, let us live in this recognition continually and I will prove to the world conclusively, Universally once and forever, Righteousness will exalt you and will give you the Victory over every trial and tribulation and over all adverse and undesirable conditions and will establish your going in the land of the living, and you, as individuals and as a nation and as a people of this civilization, will have the Victory once and forever!
While the speaker was speaking a little while ago in reference to what the critics said concerning ME, in the store, I thought of, if they could only but realize what and of Whom they are speaking, they would cease to speak and say no more! I AM a Live Wire! The rich and the poor, the high and the low, the great and the small; of every nation, of every language, and every tongue and every people , I say they had better lay off with criticism!
As you, the people of My adherents and those of the believers who have received blessings, have believed and spoken sympathetically and harmoniously, you have been automatically healed of all of your ills, of your adverse and undesirable conditions just because you did believe! And because you refused to speak critically concerning ME, just automatically you have been healed! I did not do anything to you! Aren't you glad! Yes, GOD ALMIGHTY enthusiastically responded the masses.)
I did not use a material remedy and I did not use material methods and I did not make a personal effort to reach your condition, but because you believed and spoke sympathetically and thought accordingly, you have been healed of all of your adverse and undesirable conditions; for I AM a panacea for every ill, for every ailment and for every complaint and My Presence and the essence and substance thereof, it works automatically!
Vice-versalate your experience! Just vice-versalate your experience! When you thought on ME as GOD sympathetically and harmoniously, when you spoke gently and kindly and lovingly concerning ME, you have been healed of your ills, of your ailments and of your complaints and I have established your going in the land of the living and have given you, your real emancipation! Aren't you glad! (Oh, so glad, LORD! again came the enthusiastic response.) And vice-versalate such an expression as that of your belief and of your experience and you find death and destruction in the wake of those who think antagonistically, conflictingly and discourteously conflictingly and accusingly; you will find all of the extreme reverse results are the portions of those who have thought thus accordingly! Can you not see the mystery?
But I came to America that I might be called an American and I came to save the people alive to give them their real emancipation and to establish their going in the land of the living! And if they can bring anything better or greater than what I AM giving, tell them I said, bring it to ME and I will serve it! Aren't you glad! (So glad! So glad! echoed the assembled in one voice.)
GOD in the midst of you is mighty to save, and save without a physical effort or without any material methods; save without any material remedies and without a physical touch! Can you not see the mystery? For GOD is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent; can and will touch you automatically and scientifically, mentally and spiritually and will cause your dungeon to shake and your chains to fall off! Tell all of the critics I said it!
Oh, what a privilege to live in the Actual Presence of GOD, where GOD is on duty and at home at all times, attending to His own business; not asking anybody to help Him; for it is written of ME:
He came treading the winepress all alone, and of the people there was none to help.
None can help ME! I AM glad of it!
Live in this recognition and build upon this foundation, for as I make you righteous and others righteous, I will cause the righteousness of GOD among the people to be the Savior! Can you not see the mystery? The Righteousness of GOD among the people will be the Savior of the Universe Universally and will stop all bloodshed and warfare if they will let ME! That is what I AM talking about!
Then I say, Righteousness is what we represent and Truth and Equity and Justice, for truly, Righteousness and Judgment are the habitation of His Throne! Then I have also further declared as afore said:
Righteousness exalteth the nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
If there would have been only ten Just persons or Righteous persons in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, the whole cities would have been spared and would not have been destroyed by fire! Can you not see the mystery? It is declared most explicitly by your LORD and your SAVIOR, even Jesus:
As it was in the days of Lot, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man.
Can you not see the significance of making you as Daughters of Zion, Virtuous and Holy as Lot's two daughters were, and as the Sons of GOD, Purifying you; for
HE shall purify the sons of Levi and purge them as silver and as gold are purged, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in Righteousness as in former years and as in the days of old. (Malachi.))
Take these thoughts to consideration and you will see just what I AM doing and what I have done by making you Righteous, causing you to go back and pay all of your old back bills, causing you to be honest in all you say and in all you do and in every deal, because GOD is the Essence of Purity and the Substance thereof, and those who are partakers of His Nature and Characteristics will also be partakers of these qualities and of these Virtues and the results of them will be manifested in your physical bodily form, for you will become to be the reproduction and the personification of that which I have spoken!
Then you can declare emphatically and definitely, conscientiously and sincerely, ALL of My Attributes as I have declared unto you daily and yearly as My Attributes and Characteristics are stressed vividly as a reiteration and as an affirmation for you, that you might vision that which you should reproduce, for
The thing you vividly visualize, you tend to materialize.
Practically every one of My true followers by reiteration can reiterate and rehearse verbatim by committing it to memory, the Attributes of your Humble Servant as I have declared it! Aren't you glad! (So glad, ALMIGHTY GOD! shouted the happy throng.)
Why is it the dramatization and the rehearsal of these Attributes have been so pronounced and so vividly depicted? It is for the purpose of each and every one of you getting them and producing the same in your memory; for when you, as an infant in the kindergarten, rehearsed your alphabet over and over again, you eventually committed it to memory and it became a part of you!
These and Virtues and Characteristics of your SAVIOR, they are reiterated and stressed and rehearsed continually so that you might get them within you and reproduce them and bring them to fruition and become to be the personification of that of which I AM and AM expressing; and there will be no more sickness, sorrow, pain nor death or misery!
Live in this recognition and I will be with you. I AM the attributes! I AM the virtues depicted in the conclusion of My letters as afore said; being well, healthy, joyful, peaceful, lively, loving, successful, prosperous and happy! And on these terms it would be a matter of impossibility for you to be a failure! It would be a matter of impossibility for you to be in lacks, wants and limitations! It would be a matter of impossibility for you to be in adverse and undesirable conditions, for these I have depicted are within you; as you concentrate and reproduce them by rehearsing and by reiteration continually, you become to be the personification of them! Can you not see the mystery?
Isn't't it beautiful to be the person of health and healthy? To be the person of success and prosperity? To be the person of wisdom, knowledge and understanding? To be the person and all dominion and all authority in Righteousness? All of these attributes and qualities and virtues depicted, they are yours for the reproduction; by concentration and by reiteration you reproduce them!
But you must live according to same! You must let this Mind be in you That was also in CHRIST JESUS; for this Mind that was also in CHRIST JESUS was the Shaper and the Former of such qualities and such attributes and such characteristics and such virtues because the Mind came from GOD, your LORD and your SAVIOR and they returned to him in whom dwelleth in Him! Aren't you glad. (So glad, FATHER Dear! came the sincere cry)
To make you Righteous is worth more than that of your weight in gold! Since I have taught you Righteousness and Equity and Justice for all, since I have taught you Honesty, Competence and Truth, even the Government itself, not only the Chief Executives, but the Government itself--Uncle Sam, is going back paying all of his back bills, for I have converted him!
Now who can hinder ME? I have converted Uncle Sam into Righteousness, into Equity, into Truth and into Justice, and Uncle Sam just a few years ago went back and paid to one Reservation of the Indians, more than thirty one million dollars! Showing you that he is going back, paying all of his back bills because I said it was Right to do it. Aren't you glad! (So glad, ALMIGHTY GOD! So glad! thundered the enthusiastic throng.)
You can find them all over this and even in other countries, going back adjusting matters satisfactorily and paying their back bills wheresoever they have owed them justly and every just bill they will go back and adjust matters satisfactorily. To the satisfying of the ALMIGHTY! Not only so, but you can plainly see that those who are true and faithful followers of Mine, they will not take anything dishonestly from another. And anything that they have taken dishonestly, as it was the request of Zacchaeus when he ran and climbed up the sycamore tree and told Jesus,
If I have taken anything by false accusation I will restore fourfold!
Can you not see the mystery? Yes, LORD! exclaimed the assembly emphatically.)
Everyone who is converted to My Teaching will do the same! Read of Zacchaeus in the New Testament of the Bible of King James version and you will be able to see it and know it and tell it to others! That is what I AM talking about!
Then after he had gone before Jesus and the crowd and climbed up the sycamore tree he desired to see Jesus as He passed by, because he desired to correct his wrongs. Everyone that is a believer in GOD, they will do the same! Can you not see the mystery? Yes, LORD!declared the congregation volitionally.)
Correcting their wrongs does not just mean to correct one thing and in one way, but they correct it in every way!
Every ill-gotten penny may cause the loss of your whole bank roll! You may accumulate and acquire unto yourselves millions, if you can do it, and get it dishonestly-or if you get all honestly, saving one penny you receive dishonestly, it may spoil your whole bank roll and you may lose all you have gained!
Then I say,
What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul?
You see the mystery? Yes, Sir! came the reply.)
Now you can earn, now-a-days, from a dollar to a dollar and a quarter an hour. That is just common labor domestic work. That is what should be your salary from a dollar to a dollar and a quarter an hour! But if you are true followers of Mine you will give sixty minutes to the hours service and will not loaf one minute of time away dishonestly when you expect to get paid; for if you are working for a dollar and a quarter an hour and if you steal or loaf only one minutes's time, that is more than two pennies, two cents, you have taken from your employer dishonestly and through deception as it was with Eve in the Garden of Eden when she tried to deceive and hide from GOD! Can you not see the mystery? Yes, LORD! came the reply.
If you would be only getting as little as a dollar an hour, that would be more than a penny you would be taking from your employer.
The Honesty of My Teaching will cause you to be Honest in every detail, in every word and in every action and in every emotion for if you would be earning only one dollar an hour and you steal or loaf one minute out of that hour, you have robbed your employer of one and two-thirds cents and the destruction of that which you have received dishonestly may cause you to lose all you have! If you have not lost or taken immediately, there and then at the instance, more than one and two-thirds of a cent, you have taken more than one and one-fourth of a cent from your employer; just from that one penny! That is what I AM talking about! I AM showing you the way of Righteousness!
I spoke through the mouth of Solomon and said,
I have taught you in the way of Wisdom and I have led you into the right path. When thou goest thou shalt not stumble and when thou runnest thou shalt not fall (or faint).
But I AM saying now,
I have taught you in the way of Honesty! When thou goest thou shalt not be afraid of someone else taking the advantage of you dishonestly, for you will only reap what you sow!
Can you not see the mystery? Yes, GOD ALMIGHTY! declared the entire assembly.) If you have been Honest, Competent and True in all you have said and all you have done, and now in all you do, others will be obliged to be honest to you and it will be a matter of impossibility for you to lose, for it is written,
If the LORD keep not the house, the watch is in vain!
So true declared the congregation.)
Earning even say, at the rate of slave wages of only seventy-five cents and sixty cents an hour if you take one moment's time from your employer and do not give him that moment's time you have robbed him out of a penny; and from that penny you will find you have sown the seeds that you must eventually reap!
Can you not see the HONESTY of AIM and of PURPOSE of this PEACE MISSION MOVEMENT and GOD HIMSELF AMONG YOU? (Yes, LORD! declared the entire assembly emphatically.) And if you find a penny on the street you would not spend that penny; you would take it and advertise it in the most reasonable advertisement or lines of advertising that you could advertise it in, so that the person who had lost it, could get it in return and would not be obliged to be deprived of that which he had lost. That is what I AM talking about!
Honesty, Competence and Truth will not cause you to desire to get something for nothing! That is why My True followers do not receive pay when they are earning an adequate salary, for labor they have not done! The system of causing or forcing the employers to pay the employees for labor they have not done, is not the Spirit and Equity and Justice, according to My Mind and according to My Version, but Equity and Justice must be on every side! As with the employers so with the employees; and as with the employees so with the employers. Every man must exercise equity and justice on every side! If they do they can and will be saved from destruction and from disappointments, from loss and from failure!
There are a good many people who may desire to get tips and presents on Christmas time and at other times, when they know they are not entitled to them; the tips and presents I AM speaking of now. Dishonesty will cause you to be dishonest to your own self and your dishonest traits and characteristics and disposition and mind and attention and determination of dishonesty will rob you of your health, your happiness and of your vigor and of your courage! That is why so many people have to have physical operations; because they have been Dishonest in Deeds, in Words and in Actions! They are going around with Dishonest Minds, Ideas and Characteristics and they have allowed the Dishonesty within to influence them and to ROB them of their Health and Happiness, their Peace and their Pleasure, and ROB them of ALL Success and Prosperity! Aren't you glad! (So glad, LORD! came the reply.)
Now I know you are happy to know the way of Life and how you can save yourselves from such destruction! (Yes, so true! came the response.) My true followers, for the last twenty or twenty-five years, the majority of them who have lived according to My Teaching, have not had to take a pill! That is what I AM talking about! If you are sick and ailing, it is some cause for it! Dishonesty, incompetence and untruth will cause you to produce a sickly and a failing and an unhealthy body, for it will rob you out of your Life, Health and Liberty and will prohibit you from having success and prosperity!
Live according to My Teaching and do unto others as you would have them to do unto you! If you live The Golden Rule from every angle expressible and be not overcome of evil but over come evil with good, you will find that you will not be in lacks, wants and limitations but you will be a Sample and an Example for all nations. That is what I AM talking about!
So then I say, live in this recognition and build upon this Foundation! If you do, I will be with you! You will not have an occasion to go around in lacks and wants and limitations! As I afore said in the beginning of this summation of your work and of your mission as of your characteristics and of your disposition, you should give an employer sixty minutes of the hour of service when you are getting paid by the Hour! You should work efficiently and proficiently from every angle expressible, and prove yourself one hundred per cent, at least! But as True Followers of Mine you should prove yourselves as two hundred per cent efficient and proficient and qualified! By this you will be representing ME! And by this, if in case of your religious conviction that prohibits you from insuring your lives, insuring your personal and your real properties, that prohibits you from insuring anything after the manner of men if perchance your Church Discipline which teaches you not to insure things and you refuse to insure things, even such as the Social Security you will not try to force an issue to compel or impel your employer to pay your social security. But by the work of your hands and Honesty and of Competence and of Truth, in giving Efficient and Proficient Service as you Should do, as followers of Mine you would be worth at least from fifty to seventy-five per cent more than what any other servant would be worth! And if your employer is Honest, if he is Competent, if he is True and will do what is Just and Right for him to automatically do and desire to do unto you as you would or should and are doing to and for him, your employer would automatically, willingly and voluntarily, without coercion or without persuasion, say,
I will pay your Social Security so that you might continue to be honest, competent and true; so that you might continue to be Righteous and Virtuous and Holy among my family and others! I will pay it volitionally and voluntarily!
And if they would do it, they would not be losing a penny, if you live according to My Teaching! (So
true! declared the entire assembly.)
We do not ask anyone to do it, for as afore said, if it is necessary we would be willing to lose all of our jobs for our Religious Conviction! If it is necessary we would be willing to die, if we could die, before we would take out insurance of any kind! That is what I AM talking about! (Yes, so true, GOD ALMIGHTY! sanctioned the entire congregation emphatically.)
But if your employers desire your service and if you have proved efficient and worthy, they will willingly and voluntarily pay your social security. You will not have to ask them to do it!
Our Religious Conviction is NOT in opposition to the Government in which we are living, but to the EXTREME REVERSE, we are here to make people Righteous, Honest and True in Deeds and in Actions in the Army and in the Navy, in the Air corps, and everywhere they may serve GOD or man or the Government, they should be Honest and True! And that is what I have done and that is what they will do! You will be one hundred per cent efficient if not from two hundred to three hundred per cent efficient in all you endeavor! That is what I AM talking about! (So true, GOD ALMIGHTY! declared the assembly.)
Therefore, if your employer finds that you are worth at least from Fifty to a Hundred per Cent More than what any other employee would be worth, they will willingly pay for you the Social Security, so that you might be their servant and remain active in service, producing Honesty, Competence and Truth in their employ!
Then I say, let us live in this Recognition and build upon this Foundation for a True follower of Mine would not take tips of any kind! (So true, LORD! verified the entire congregation.)
I know a good many of you have done it before you knew, but we have a Church Discipline and Bylaws that have been registered with the Department of Records in the Recorder's Office in Washington, in which I AM telling them our Religious Conviction and what we do and what we will not do. They know it! Can you not see the mystery? (
As afore said, My followers own millions and millions of dollars worth of Personal and Real Property, both in this country and in other countries! In Switzerland, in England and in Germany, but mainly in Switzerland and in Australia, in Panama and in New Zealand and in other countries they own millions and millions of dollars worth real property, and millions and millions of bodies but they do not insure anything! This was NOT to combat the system of insuring yourselves or anything else but it was for the purpose of lifting a STANDARD of Righteousness, of Equity and of Truth and for the purpose of knowing in whom you should trust!
It is a wonderful thought! (So true, LORD! verified the assembly emphatically.) I want this to go down on record, that a True Follower of Mine will not take tips or receive gifts or presents of any kind so long as they receive an adequate salary! But there are those who will try to get your labor for about fifty per cent of the Value of your service, and then they want to give you something on Christmas or some other time, as a Tip, maybe or as a Christmas Present, or as a Holiday Present, amounting to maybe about five or ten dollars and you have been working all year for just about fifty percent of what you should earn! We do not want it! It is true, GOD ALMIGHTY!verified the congregation.)
I AM LIFTING UP A STANDARD OF INDEPENDENCY, for our Nation declared her Independence as a Nation by that Great Declaration, so that We, as the subjects of this Nation, might be independent individually and not go around soliciting, begging and stealing! That is what I AM talking about!
Not a true follower of Mine will take up a collection in the public services for public service to mankind! Not a true follower of Mine would go around on the streets soliciting and begging; for they mean to produce the Independence that our Government by the Constitution and its Amendments and by the Declaration of Independence, called for! Can you not see the mystery? (Yes, GOD ALMIGHTY! declared the vast congregation in one accord.)
By this we shall have a Righteous Government, and as with an individual, so with a nation; and as with a nation, so with all nations combined! There will be no more lacks, wants and limitations and no more adverse and undesirable conditions when every subject of this democracy is absolutely independent. I thank you!
