The Lefferts Mansion, Brooklyn, New York
During this beautiful occasion that was celebrated at the Lefferts Place Mansion in Brooklyn, New York, everyone present received much food for thought. The mansion was bedecked with fresh cut flowers and the Holy Communion Hall was a beautiful sight to behold with its t-shaped Holy Communion Table, with white linen napkins and sparkling silver— and chinaware and rock crystal glasses. Two four-tier wedding cakes were beautifully decorated with all the other accessories that make the DIVINE Holy Communion Table beautiful.
During the serving of the delicious Banquet Communion, FATHER arose and delivered this dynamic Sermon and warned those of HIS followers as well as all true Americans, against the saboteurs of this democracy and urged them to be alert, one-hundred-percent American citizens, whether in this country or abroad! Take cognizance of this sound advice, for it is a current issue in our present day affairs, a warning for this and all other allied nations to watch that you do not sell your birthright of True Americanism.
For THY DIVINE Counsel to the Children of Men, Almighty GOD, WE Humbly Thank THEE!

"We are Americans, real true Americans!
What does American consist of?
The amalgamation of all races, creeds and colors!
We live our Constitution,
And our Declaration too;
We enact the Bill of Rights,
As real Americans should!
We are Americans, real true Americans!
For out of one blood GOD formed all nations—
American! American! One race indivisible!
We are the kind of people GOD made!"
(FATHER speaks as follows:)
Peace Everyone! That little composition, to us it is a living reality. We are real Americans, real, true Americans! For this cause today, as a day set apart in a great measure, to review the Fourth Anniversary Celebration of MY Marriage to MY Spotless Virgin Bride, a Marriage that is not national, is not racial and is not bound to a lineage or anything of that sort; but a Marriage apparently interracial, international, interdenominational and a Marriage that has been propagated for the purpose and appropriated for the purpose of bring about the Universal Brotherhood of man and the Conscious Realization of the FATHERHOOD of GOD for which you all have prayed!
I AM happy to bring before the mind's eye of the reading public today, from a very recent Message that has been sent out as a proclamation by all of the Baptist Churches, to bring an abolition, an absolute end to all sense of segregation among the members of the churches, consisting of many millions!
It is a privilege to realize, MY Work is taking form in business, profession, labor and trade and is bringing an end to divisibility among this people and uniting them together so that we might be universally Real, True Americans! And what consists of Americanism? The Amalgamation of all nations, languages, tongue and people!
It is a privilege to realize that the time is not far distant until and when all of the kindreds of the earth shall Unite together as I have them Jurisdictionally and in MY connections over which I AM presiding! Aren't you glad? ("So glad, GOD Almighty!" shouted the assembly.)
There will be no more and ensign of races, creeds or colors to bring about warfare and bloodshed and confusion among each other, but we shall live in peaceful and quiet resting places from shore to shore and from land to land!
I want to say here, while I AM at the point for consideration, because I AM advocating Peace on Earth and Good Will to men, the Communists and no other aggressor nations or agnostic or infidelic nation, can influence ME with that kind of peace they are talking about! We shall have the kind of Peace that all Christians and all Judaism have prayed for! Not the kind of peace that will bring confusion in the land and uprisings and insurrection and division and strife among the nations!
We shall bring an end to all atheism and bring an end to all infidelism and shall bring an end to all Communism and all Nazism and all Fascism: but GOD Alone shall Reign in Democracy, Brotherhood, Christianity, Americanism and Judaism as synonymous! They have even had the audacity to send out leaflets to some of MY Churches and Church Connections in far away Australia, telling them to "sign for peace!" but I say, "You live for Peace!" Produce the Peace that passes all human understanding by the birth of Jesus Christ and by the Life we Live through Americanism, Christianity and Judaism as synonymous! That is the kind of Peace we shall have, where all people shall worship together and shall be united once and forever and there shall be no division among them! That is the kind of Peace I AM bringing about! Aren"t you glad! ("Yes, LORD! So glad!" again came the happy response.)
We shall have a Righteous Government under our Present Constitution and its Amendments and under the Declaration of the American Independence. That is what I AM talking about! I AM establishing Americanism in Europe, Asia and Africa. I AM establishing Americanism, Christianity, Democracy and Judaism as synonymous in Switzerland, and in Germany, and in England and even in Australia and in the Panama Canal and all through the South American countries! That is the kind of Peace I AM bringing about!
Not a true follower or member of MY Churches, or representatives will dare sign any such communistic petition that they have out to get you to sign against our own nation and Government! Talking about outlawing the A-bomb!By inspiration and by intuition I told our Chief Executive to sign for the building of the H-bomb, and we the people shall back it up if the government will build a thousand or a million of the H-bombs and millions of A-bombs! This does not say we will use them unless it is necessary! That is what I AM talking about! But what said the Scripture concerning the mystery?
"Be Ye also ready!"
You must be ready to meet any emergency! Therefore if the Government will build at least five hundred thousand H-bombs, I suppose such aggressor nations as some of them have been and still are today, will lay off of this nation!
MY true members of our Churches and co-workers and followers and friends and even sympathizers and harmonizers will not sign the petitions for the Communists and other nations that are trying through subversive environments and elements— are trying to undermine the foundation of our Government!
We are Real, True Americans, one hundred percent! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" came the reply.) Some think because the Afro-Americans, better know by a good many as the "so-and-so's", a term I do not use— have been underprivileged and downtrodden in this country, they think they can turn this nation upside down by interweaving prejudice and strife among them; but I say nay! We shall have a Righteous Government and it shall be a Government by the people, through the people and for the people that shall not perish from the earth! That is what I AM talking about!
So let us live in this recognition and if there be any division or misunderstanding among you as a person to a person or anything of that sort, I AM eradicating it and I AM getting it out of our Government, our nation, and out of our people, for I AM converting them to Righteousness. Truth and Justice and Equity for all of the people! It is written of ME:
"And the Government shall be upon HIS Shoulder!"
Aren't you glad! ("Oh, so glad!!" echoed the masses.)
America was predestined to be the leader of all nations to the Kingdom of GOD, where Perfection shall be attained and remain once and forever; for the Kingdom shall and it has actually come, but it shall come more into expression on earth among the people legally and politically and all of the nations of the earth shall eventually recognize America as the Kingdom of GOD!
Let us live in this recognition and build upon this Foundation and We the people, as Americans of every so called race, creed and color will live together once and forever and we shall not be severed!
We came to bring an end to that line of demarcation! I AM bringing an end to localization! I AM bringing an end to all divisibility, for we are one nation! Not only one nation but we are one lineage and one people; Yea one race indivisible!
Then I say to those of MY Adherents in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and all parts of the world, when they come to you to sign such as they are trying to get you to do, as supposedly for peace, you live the life of Peace and Brotherhood and produce it as I have produced it in you and you will not have a occasion to sign anything as you would be requested to do by those who have not been born of GOD! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" sanctioned the assembly.)
We shall have a Righteous Government for it is written:
"Righteousness and Judgment are the habitation of HIS Throne."
That is why I have established Righteousness before I began to establish the Government upon which CHRIST is now reigning! Can you not see the mystery! I established Righteousness and caused millions of people here in this country as well also as in other countries to live Soberly, Righteously and Godly and to enthrone the CHRIST on the throne of their minds and accept 0f GOD as Lord of lords and as King of kings! This is GOD'S Administration and GOD has been selected, elected and enthroned on the throne of your minds! In Righteousness HE Reigneth now, henceforth and forever!
I say, let us live in this recognition if we wish to, but whether anybody continues to adhere to MY Doctrine— and abides with ME or not, it is immaterial to ME, for GOD is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent! GOD is all there is with or without a Person! With the Person, it is alright; if you want to be with ME, it is alright, but if you do not want to be with ME, I shall carry out MY Plan and Purpose to the letter with or without another! Aren't you glad! ("So glad!" came the response.)
Just as I have it on MY immediate staff and under MY Personal Jurisdiction over which I preside, I shall have a Righteous Government from shore to shore and from land to land with or without a Person! Aren't you glad!! ("Oh, so glad!" again came the response.)
Truly might have one declared:
"The LORD Reigneth! Righteousness and Judgment are the habitation of HIS Throne."
I cannot stress this thought too vividly and too constantly concerning the mystery of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. When the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were wicked even as this city, New York, is wicked, and the wickedness had gone up and disturbed GOD on the Throne— so speaks the scripture— and GOD said HIS Spirit, as in the experience of the people at the time Noah was commanded to build an Ark— it had disturbed GOD on the Throne and GOD said:
"MY Spirit shall not always strive with man."
Can you not see the mystery?
But GOD sent two angels, yea, three angels down to Abraham at the time of Sodom and Gomorrah and conversed with Abraham and told him— he and Sarah— what was going to happen; and the angels told Abraham,
"If I can find only ten just persons in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, I will spare the cities for their sake!
Can you not see the Mystery?
I made millions Righteous right here in this country before the last World War, before the second World War! I had made thousands and thousands righteous before the first World War but especially before this last World War, I had made millions and millions Righteous in this country! When GOD saw the Righteousness of the Righteous in this Country and in this land GOD caused the Angels of Destruction to pass over this Country as HE did Sodom and Gomorrah— or would have done Sodom and Gomorrah had it been only ten Righteous persons in that city— yea those two cities! Aren;t you glad! ("So glad!" exclaimed the multitude.)
We shall have a Righteous Government and the people of this country shall live Soberly,Righteously and Godly hereafter as never before. I have impregnated this country's inhabitants with the Spirit of Equity and Justice and with the Spirit of Righteousness! Can you not see the Mystery? But even the wicked men of our present time, they are going back paying their old back bills, something like those of MY following— as MY following have been doing!! Can you not see the Mystery? A true follower of Mine will not even smoke a cigarette, because I have made them Righteous! A true follower of Mine would not drink a glass of intoxicating liquor because I have made them Righteous! A true follower of Mine would not indulge in human affection with the opposite sex even if they are married to them, because I have made them Righteous! That is what I AM talking about! True followers of Mine will live even as I live and MY Spotless Virgin Bride and will keep your companion Pure and Holy even as I do Mine! Aren't you glad! ("So glad! So glad Lord!" came the eager and thunderous reply.) That is what I AM talking about! That is what GOD has come for, to bring about Righteousness in the land and by the Righteousness of the Righteous your land will be saved!
GOD would have spared the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah had HE found only ten just persons in those cities, but HE could not find them there, the cities were destroyed! Everybody should be glad FATHER DIVINE is here! I AM creating a Righteous people in the land! Aren't you glad! ("so glad, LORD!" responded the assembly.) I AM bringing about Equity and Justice for all mankind and putting into operation Democracy and Brotherhood and putting into action the universal Brotherhood of man, Christianity and Americanism with Judaism as synonymous and bringing an end to all divisibility among the people! Aren't you glad! ("So glad! Praise YOU!" responded the assembly.)
Just think of living together in peaceful and quiet resting places as those of you are living who are true and faithful and adhering to MY Teaching! Aren't you glad! ("So glad! So glad!" again shouted the assembly.) No such a thing as a race or creed or color among you in consciousness! You just live Soberly, Righteously and Godly and Lovingly but not in self indulgence or human effection, but living for the Righteousness of GOD to be made manifest in your person and in your business and in your affairs; for GOD deals in the affairs of men and shall function among them in all things that concern them and in all things that concern HIM! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, Almighty GOD!" came the happy reply.) In all things that concern them and in all things that concern HIM! If it concerns GOD, GOD is going to deal in the affairs of men if it concerns HIM, and in your business and in your trade, in your professions collectively; if you are living and working together, GOD shall deal in your affairs if it concerns you and if it concerns HIM!
Let us live in this recognition and enjoy the Presence of GOD while GOD is on earth here with you, even though a good many may not believe it; but I AM here to stay! Truly might have on declared:
"HE came treading the winepress all alone, and of the people there was none to help."
Now GOD is the same with or without a person! That is why I can speak so emphatically and definite, because whatsoever GOD has promised, HE is able to perform and will perform it with or without a Person! That is the Mystery. I need not do anything Personally, for I declared Scripturally:
"It is not by power nor by might, but by MY Spirit, says the LORD GOD of Hosts!"
Here in this very same city, the Borough of Brooklyn, on fleet street, there was a man that was supposedly a wicked man; said he would not go to church and he did not want anyone to carry his body in the church; if they did when he died they would be sorry for it! And when he went in the Fleet Street Church right down here on Fleet Street the church went down and many people were injured and some killed!
I AM sure a good many of you have heard of it and some of you maybe, no doubt, know of it. So now, if a wicked man could do that in violence, controversial to Righteousness as we deem it to be, how much more can one do in Righteousness for Righteousness' sake if GOD is with you? See the Mystery? That is why I say definitely and emphatically, we shall have a Righteous Government with or without MY Body, and the people shall live in peaceful and quiet resting places all over this wide extended plane and I shall bring an absolute abolition to localization from shore to shore and from land to land and localities will be no longer barriers for the children of men because of their complexions or colors or whatsoever you may call them!
I came to free the people! Truly might Abraham Lincoln said:
"That this whole nation might have a new birth of freedom under GOD!"
I came to give them that freedom that Abraham Lincoln spoke of! Freed from all of the divisions that people are living in out there! Freedom from barriers and limitations— you can't walk on some streets or you couldn't do it before I came Personally! Aren't you glad! (So glad, LORD!" echoed the assembly.) But I AM making it possible for all people to live together Soberly, Righteously and Godly! And solong as they live Soberly, Righteously and Godly, they shall live together in Peaceful and Quiet Resting Places without any division because of their color or creed!
It was handed down from the Baptist Association, International Baptist Association, I believe the other day, that there would no longer be segregation in any of their church connections because of the color of the people or their racial abstraction or because of previous condition of servitude! Isn't that wonderful? They didn't say that years ago, but I told you many years ago, I shall get in the people and I shall contagionize them with MY Versions, with MY Ideas and with MY Opinions and I shall set them free from racism, for racism is the creator of all other kinds of isms— Communism, Fascism, Jimcrowism and all of the abominable isms that spell division! I shall bring an abolition to such abominations among this people and I shall set them free completely. And all shall be Healthy, Happy, Successful and Prosperous; and I AM talking about having a-plenty of money just like MY Followers do! That is what I AM talking about! Have whatsoever they desire! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" again came the enthusiastic reply.)
I do not claim anything, but MY followers have unlimited purchasing power because they are united together and they will not be severed, for GOD did say:"Now the people is one,!" Aren't you glad! ("So glad, GOD Almighty!" exclaimed the assembly.}
"Now the people is one, and this they begin to do, and not anything shall be restrained from them to do, that which they have imagined to do!"
I have made you one to make it possible for you to do everything that is just and right for you to do and have access in the land and be free from the barriers and limitations of men that live in prejudice and division among themselves! Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD! So glad!" shouted the assembly.}
I cannot stress this particular text too vividly and too constantly, for it is well worth considering. Those who live in MY Teaching and bring themselves completely into subjection to the Fundamentals for which I stand, the People is One, and behold they have one language and this they begin to do; now not anything shall be restrained from them to do, that which they have imagined to do! (Genesis 11:6) Aren't you glad! (Yes, LORD! " came the happy reply.)
Now we shall live in peaceful and quiet resting places; and to verify MY assertion and MY declaration of the Righteousness that I have created in your hearts and in your lives, in your business and in your affairs, I just want to say, how many are there here that do not drink intoxicating liquors?
(Hands were unanimously raised as FATHER says:) Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD came the thunderous response.)
(As many stood out in the street and on the porch and peeked through the windows, FATHER said:)
All outside there and in the street! (As all hands were unanimously raised outside in the street and at the windows, FATHER continues:) So many hands going up, bearing witness to ME that they do not drink intoxicating liquor, neither do they use drugs and dope to be influenced beyond their reason to think, do you?
("No, GOD Almighty!" sanctioned the assembly.) All who do not use drugs and dope to be influenced beyond their reason to think and control themselves, let it be made known by the raising of your hands!
(All hands were raised spontaneously, as FATHER continues:)
Aren't you glad! ("So glad, LORD!" shouted the eager assembly.) Coming another step further to Perfection, I want to know how many are there here that do not indulge in human affection after the manner of men? Let it be known by the raising of you hands.
(All hands were raised, and as the enthusiasm was so great, some raised two hands, as FATHER says:)
Just look at them! A Righteous Nation is rising, rich in the Virtues of Brotherhood and of Peace; where a man is a man and not a color, creed or race! Let us sing,
(The audience then enthusiastically sang the following composition:)
"A nation is rising rich in the virtues
Of Americanism rebirth by GOD!
Rich in honesty, brotherhood and peace;
Where a man is a man
And not a color, creed or race!
A people charged with the current of Justice,
That has changed the tide of Governmental affairs:
A Righteous nation under FATHER DIVINE is rising,
Electrifying the atmosphere!"
