Efficiency is but another word for GOD. In examining the plan of the universe, the mathematical precision with which the planets revolve about the sun, the leafing of trees in the spring, the laws of gravitation and resistance; everything made by GOD is accurate and systematic in every detail.
So are the laws of prosperity laid down by GOD. If the laws of courtesy, industriousness, harmony and willingness to serve and the desire to benefit humanity are followed, prosperity is inevitable.
For many years FATHER has stressed these laws. HE has Personified them; HE has exemplified them; HE has transmitted them to the world until industry, labor and trade have caught them until America is super successful. But that is not enough. Until every man has reached the peak of success FATHER will not cease His endeavors. Following an educational picture on building a gas station business by giving service efficiently, FATHER delivered this lesson on prosperity, and herein is the key to success.

Peace Everyone! Here we all are again, there I sit and stand in the Unity of spirit, mind, aim and purpose to cause you and all others to be even as I AM. As in the conclusion of MY daily correspondence I AM daily stressing by declaration as though by affirmation of just what I AM and AM enjoying. You hear a good many say they are well; "Feeling good, thank you," and otherwise; but when this is made a reality not merely by affirmation but by recognition and declaration and realization it is made a reality, for it has been tangibilated, materialized and Personified!
A good many people may be well in health but not so well in mind; others may be well in mind but not so well in body; but when you are well, healthy, joyful, peaceful and happy in spirit, in body and in mind you have something to praise GOD for; to praise GOD from whom all these blessings flow, and it is enough for all creatures to praise Him here below.
For this cause we assemble from time to time here in Ulster County, better known by the followers of Mine as the Promised Land, the Land that was promised to the children who would be true and faithful and obedient. Those who would live Soberly, Righteously and Godly, a good many did come into possession of comfort and convenience, of houses and of land and of Peace, Joy, Health and Happiness, by observing and copying after what I have shown them; and we are assembled in the different places usually every Saturday evening, representing our government meetings, in consideration of our Righteous Government Meetings we stress government in and out of politics, with and without legality, the reality of a government that will change your nature, your disposition, your character and even your characteristics and cause you to be New Creatures such as has been mentioned of one being a new creature in Christ Jesus.
What a privilege to live in such a recognition where GOD in Consciousness is ever with you, dispelling all dark clouds of doubts and fears even in the time of the great crises as they seem to be. What have you to fear if GOD is with you? GOD is your refuge and your strength. In the name of Righteousness in the Christ Consciousness you can hide; for
"Righteousness will exalt the nation but sin is a reproach to any people."
By this I have endeavored to and AM actually exalting millions by exemplifying Righteousness in them, causing them to be the actuated words of expression of righteousness; no longer merely lip service but a living reality.
By this in our daily activities we are expressing Righteousness, Truth and Justice, the Righteousness of GOD transmitted. And while speaking at this point for consideration I will retrace your thoughts back to the scientific and practical service to humanity and the profitableness of being scientific in your endeavors and especially in the act of expressing courtesy!
At your gas stations I hope you all will take cognizance of the picture tonight; it was an expression as an illustration, but yet it was not merely showing the picture to be seen to make laughter but as something that would give you a practical, scientific salesmanship in a professional, scientific way. to be progressive, successful and prosperous and happy in business, profession, labor and trade.
Therefore, as I say,we did not say so much tonight in words concerning Righteous Government, but the actuated words of expression in that demonstration of the service stations and the men who run them, they were expressions of what a good many people are doing. Some cannot succeed in business by refusing to be courteous to the people, by refusing to express hospitality and common courtesy such as is the keynote to Salvation. Common courtesy is the keynote to Salvation and is the keynote to success, Prosperity and the keynote to Appreciation in your Business, Profession, Labor and Trade. Hence it is in reality Righteous Government put into practice — not merely described legally but put into practice in the actuated words of expression through common, sincere, hospitality and courtesy.
I hope you all will take cognizance of this and know the service that was scientific in that particular demonstration was a service that should be copied after in every activity. It is not confined alone to the garage business, neither to the service station business in selling gas and other necessities, but, in every business, in all profession, in all labor and in every activity put into practice that which was shown by the person who showed the other how to be courteous and be ready to entertain — I could have said be hospitable — even in giving service for business. How courteous he was in expression in teaching all people a lesson how to be successful and prosperous in business! This is the way MY Mind, MY Spirit and MY Presence will actually lead you.
For this cause it is truly the Peace Mission Movement for it will bring Peace out of confusion, bring into your experience success and prosperity, health and happiness. By being prosperous and successful and by being courteous others will appreciate you: others will love you and will respect you. It is not only an expression that should in the service station business, I say, but in every activity, in all of your expressions, you will express hospitality; for truly I did say by inspiration through the composition:
"The Golden Rule with arbitration will bring Peace to every nation."
It is applicable and operable for a nation, it is applicable and operative for a business or for a person. This is not a supposition but by experience I AM expressing and AM showing you more definitely, the more courteous you are to your fellowman with whom you come in contact daily, the more successful and prosperous you will be in business. Not only so, but the more money you will have if money is necessary. The more you can do courteously, the more you can do gratis the more successful and prosperous you will be in business, profession, labor and trade; and this is not a supposition.
I recall, and you all, the majority of you, have heard, and a good many of you recall how years ago as a matter of course just as we are doing this evening, sitting in this Holy Communion Hall giving service to humanity absolutely gratis, humanly speaking the people think I AM prosperous; humanly speaking the people think I have a whole lot of blessings, whichever. They think it. Whether I do or not there are many blessings at MY disposal and at MY service, because I endeavor to be courteous and hospitable and express hospitality! Can you not see the mystery?
This is real Righteous Government in practice, no longer merely to talk about a good government, but we put our government energy and ambition into practical service for humanity daily in every activity, we will eventually overcome the crooks of the political world and the legal world will be exercised by Righteousness, Truth and Justice through the Spirit of Equity and square dealing, while they will learn and know the Golden Rule and they will find out"it is more blessed to give than to receive," and this is not a supposition, no longer merely lip service but a living reality; and, as I say, if there is a question as to the truth of it, try it yourself; taste and see that the LORD is good.
Righteousness in service to humanity will form the government under which we are to live in the future politically, and every legal issue will eventually be through Righteousness, Truth and Justice and will eventually be motivated by the Spirit of Equity and Square Dealing. By this we shall have a Righteous Government and all warfare and all rumors of war will be done away with and GOD Himself in evidence will be in the consciousness of humanity so effectively until they will express the loveliness and kindness of your Savior.
How glorious it is to live in such a recognition! Now, put into practice that Righteous Government instruction as given in the motion picture demonstration this evening, and if you do, you will find it will cause you to be Successful, Prosperous, Healthy and Happy and will lead you on to victory and will cause you to overcome every difficulty. Oh, how glorious it is to know the truth — I mean the truth of which I AM now speaking that will emancipate all of the people.
I was thinking of that because I mentioned it in MY office as I left the public dining room where the pictures were being shown. I said, as some of the secretaries said it was a great picture and it was a lesson to our garage service representatives and they hoped they would be courteous to all of the people even as the last man showed the failing man how to be courteous and how he should give service — do little things for the people without consideration of remuneration and "get the confidence of the people," he said in his illustration — it was a wonderful thought, but what about in your own little corner? Whatsoever you are doing, put into practice The Golden Rule and the exact method and remedy will work for you in your profession in your activity, on your farms and everywhere. Wheresoever you may be it is operative and expressive and it can work as effectively for thee.
Take these thoughts to consideration and you will do good and find yourself overcoming every difficulty by taking the truth when it is portrayed in one point and on one subject and in one expression and in one activity and using it in all of your activities for it is applicable. Can you not see the mystery?
You can use it in your classroom, you can use it in your kitchen; you can use it scrubbing floors; you can use it teaching school; you can use it judging the people under your judicial dominion; you can use it in every activity — Courtesy, Hospitality and Honesty and to express the truth of hospitality by being courteous even to those whom you are not obliged to be.
Rudeness and disrespect will cause you to be disrespected. Dishonor will cause you to be dishonored. Disregard will cause you to be disregarded. Whatsoever you measure to others, the same shall be measured to you, but not only a level spoonful or a level cupful but it shall be heaped up, shaken down well and running over shall others measure unto you.
Oh, how glorious it is to know the Truth and to abide in the Truth! And whatsoever comes forth as the truth from any activity and from any expression, from all business, from all labor and from all trade; whensoever it comes forth into expression, recognize the truth and continue with the truth for it is written:
"Continue in MY Words and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free,"
It will set you free from every barrier and from every limitation, from every adverse and undesirable condition; and the more hospitable and the more hospitality you express and the more courteous you are to others, the more you will be blest and the more you will prosper. I do not merely prosper in your soul as it may be termed religiously, but you will prosper economically, socially, financially and from every other angle of expression you will prosper, if you use the Golden Rule effectively and put into practice the lesson I taught you tonight through the motion picture.
As I said to those of MY staff who came in the office when I returned from the showroom, better known as the public dining room — I said to them, "Now, this does not merely mean you should be courteous to men at your gas station but you should be courteous to people in every activity, in all of your business places and even in your profession, gifts and callings. Even if they are not business by nature or expression, be courteous and be hospitable and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I say be courteous — yes, in your grocery stores; sure, in all of your business places — but you should be equivalently the same in your private homes, in your private rooms, in whatsoever you do and wheresoever you are."
As I mentioned at the time, I said, "When you spend money for comfort and convenience and to be courteous to others, doing more than what you are required to do, you do not lose by it, for I have shown you definitely it is a matter of impossibility to be a loser if you copy after the fashion I have shown you. I have not as yet received any remuneration for what I have done for the people. Now, the more courteous you are and the more you can give the people gratis, even in business, profession, labor and trade, the more successful and prosperous you will be."
I brought MY Followers down to the place where they would give and are and have been all along giving at least half of what they could earn — at least half of what they could earn, what would be rightfully theirs and in some items more than half. Now, think of a soda pop selling for three cents! You know it cost them something! Others sell it at least for five cents the minimum, and some places the same, especially when they are on outings like on our boat excursions and outings where you leave the City and even to places like this when they go out of the City they sell the same soda pop for ten or fifteen cents. Racketeering! Undermining the people, robbing the people by so doing!
But I say, give as much as you can and you will gain equivalently the same. It will return! Truly might have GOD said through the mouth of the prophet:
"Cast your bread on the water: it shall be seen and gathered after many days."
It is a matter of impossibility to lose by being courteous to the people and by doing good for those with whom you come in contact, if you do it with the spirit of sincerity and are conscientious in all of your endeavors. GOD Himself is with you and will abundantly bless you and multiply you, for the mouth of GOD has declared it!
I need not say more at this particular instance, but let this thought be with you as I have conveyed it. Let the Spirit of MY Presence be in your consciousness continually and observe the mystery I AM daily demonstrating. Success and prosperity will be your portion; Health and Happiness and Peace and Pleasure; for GOD Himself will prosper your soul even as you prosper personally (Aren't you glad!) or vice versa.
It is written:
"I pray that you may prosper even as your soul prospers",
in other words, I pray that your soul may prosper even as you prosper financially, economically, socially and otherwise, that you might prosper from every angle expressible — that your spirit, and your soul and your body may be in union by being in unity and moving accordingly. that is the mystery.
So I say, it is a privilege to live in this recognition, and the Peace of GOD that passeth all human understanding will be with you, and the nations of the earth will not be able to understand the mystery of how you prosper and how you are successful by giving instead of receiving.
When I was in Sayville, as I started to say a little while ago, I never sold a meal, and just as we are sitting around this table tonight, so it was each and every day without any thought of re numeration for what I was doing for the people; and some think I AM prosperous, some think I have a whole lot of money. I do not have it Personally, but I caused millions of others to be wealthy. Aren't you glad? I have caused millions of others to be happy!
Of course, Peace, Joy, Health and Happiness, I have it; but I have caused millions of others to have it, whilst finances I AM not bothering about, for those things are for those who want them — I mean, finances and houses and land and all of those things. I will bless you and help you to get them if you want them. All you have to do is to live soberly, righteously and godly and cooperate harmoniously and unselfishly! You will be prosperous and wall be able to get anything you need. But I AM not bothering about those things Personally, for I find the more you give the more you have, or could have if you wished to.
Now, I have everything that life demands and yet I do not claim or own a thing. Look at these beautiful homes throughout the land and country, here and there and everywhere; but in reference to those who live in this community and know of the places owned and operated by those followers, these places that are called Mine in and around New York City and in this particular community, in this county, it would look as if though I had a whole lot of homes and a great deal of wealth and many things that life demands. I do not have a thing, but I have caused MY Follower to get whatsoever they want, and they in turn give ME accommodation and everything necessary for MY comfort and convenience and I have the privilege of serving them willingly, voluntarily and "gratisly", and they in turn do the same to ME. Aren't you glad?
So it is proven it is an actual fact that "it is more blessed to give than it is to receive," and with all of the giving the giving is not compared as a percent of a fraction of a percent of a fraction of a grain of a percent of a fraction of a grain of the receiving that could be if I desired such things to ME. I thank you.
(FATHER resumed His seat but the Spirit was not to be quenched and HE continued speaking as follows:)
Aren't you glad? It is Wonderful! It is marvelous! It is unspeakable! It is inexplicable; you cannot explain the significance of it for it goes into infinitude, the end you cannot vision.
I was just thinking of how it should be in your home, in your business places and everything, as I mentioned; but even in your Peace Mission Extensions I said how you can help, how you could do, be courteous to each other, express hospitality to each other; do the thing that will make them comfortable and convenient, each other and each and everybody as you sojourn in these borders, and you will be Successful and Prosperous.
You cannot prosper in business by trying to limit yourself and limit others — in certain things I mean. This dining room looks beautiful when we have nice lights, but if it is dark and dreary I do not operate for eating; and as I do not, others would not, and maybe they would not come in and buy. If the room or rooms are cold and uncomfortable, they would not wish to stay in a room that is uncomfortable. I do not blame them!
Everything should be comfortable and convenient as much as, or as near perfect as possible. Look at the restaurants and hotels on the highway; public gas stations as he mentioned; one mentioned what he was opening up, a tavern or something like that; how bright they were lighted up or how bright they are lighted up, how attractive they are. Even in wickedness they would attract and draw the most righteous person or honest person, many times by the brightness and the beauty of it.
GOD is beautiful! If not in Person, just beyond the veil of tears or beyond the flesh or visible expression as you see Him, no more beauty will be desired when you see Him as HE is! Aren't you glad?
So should you be in words, deeds and in actions, and all of your business places should be expressions of attraction and should be centers of attraction. That is what I AM talking about!
Why is it that the theatre draws more people than the church? Because it looks better. It looks beautiful on the outside and when you have it comfortable and beautiful and attractive, it will attract and draw the masses; for when you express hospitality by being courteous and generous to your fellowmen who sojourn with you and with whom you come in contact, even if you are giving more than what is due them, you will gain in turn for that which you have done and are doing. I thank you. For I AM doing it!
