"This is the Greatest School I ever attended. I have listened to some of the greatest professors and teachers in the world, but Oxford, Cambridge and Columbia have nothing like this. I have learned how to LIVE. This has been my greatest comfort in contact with FATHER DIVINE. When I return to California, I will live it the best way I know how."
This was the content of the testimony of one around the great Banquet Table of FATHER DIVINE at 20 W. 115th Street, New York City, Thursday, February 8th; one who had come all the way from California to New York, seeking what he thought was sight for his physical eyes, but returning with a gift far greater than that for which he had asked. He was enrolled in the great Seminary of the Universe under FATHER DIVINE, who had been declared by many to be the Dean of the Universe to go on from mansion to mansion.
Truly might Jesus have said,
'In My Father's House are many mansions;'
for in the great Seminary were many grades or degrees of expression. There was
one entrance requirement for this School, however, which had to be met. All who
entered had to come up to the standard of knowing no race, creed, color, denomination,
division, or distinction but that of a Child of GOD.
This had been visibly accomplished in the experience of the speaker through his contact with FATHER DIVINE, and many had observed the great change when his allegiance to his supposed Fatherland was renounced. Forgetting the things that were behind, his feet had been placed in the Highway of Holiness that would lead to every good and desirable blessing as he traveled on.
At the conclusion of his testimony, Father arose Personally, singing and speaking as follows:
'According to the Abundance, Love and Mercy, According to the Abundant Love of GOD
According to the Abundance, Love and Mercy, GOD your FATHER has blessed this food.
HE blessed your soul and HE blessed His people, According to the Abundant Love of GOD.
According to the Abundance, Love and Mercy, GOD your
FATHER has blessed your soul.'
It is indeed wonderful!

In this composition I brought to consideration for a moment, the thought of the last speaker as it was conveyed, even before he said this was the greatest school he had ever attended. One of our noted speakers of modern time has declared this to be as though it was the great seminary of the Universe, by imputing or reputing ME to be the Dean of the Universe as though it was ME. I know within myself it is not ME according to the flesh, it is a Principle that has been converted into a Person, and being universalized and now materialized as it is universalized mentally and spiritually in the consciousness of the children of men in the great universe being the great Teacher of Salvation; not confined nor bound to any person or persons, but a Principle, as the principle of mathematics when it has been put forth into expression by the educators, can be used by practically any individual.
This Light, this Love, this Understanding that has brought all mankind together, it is manifesting and bringing into outer expression a lesson that transcends all human understanding. The greatest course in practical psychology imaginable it has been brought into outer expression and manifested in this generation to this people, that they might live evangelically. By living evangelical lives, the very Life of CHRIST will become to be personified universally and established on the earth as the Sons of GOD collectively, as He was the Son individually.
It is a blessing to know, the Word that has been made flesh, firstly as a Sample and as an Example in that Body called Jesus, humanly speaking, it came forth and was put forth into expression as an Individual, being the personification of GOD, as being termed the Word, to this people; but as a Sample and as an Example for all people. The Word, in the Person and the Body called Jesus, under such Name has been made flesh and it has been established on the earth as the reality of the actual materialization of GOD HIMSELF, yet it was not confined to the Individual as a Person, for:
'As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the Sons of GOD.'
Why? For
'The little leaven leaveneth the whole lump'
and bringeth into outer expression the actual materialization of the "internality" of
the soul of that substance. The soul of everything that liveth can be actually
brought into materialization, for GOD materialized HIMSELF as a Sample and as
an Example.
Just think of it! The average person has thought within himself, that GOD could not or would not materialize the Perfect, the Pure; thinking within themselves collectively, that GOD would only materialize the negative; not realizing that GOD materialized HIMSELF as the Perfect, the Positive, the Pure.
GOD materialized HIMSELF, I say, the Positive, the Pure, the Real, as a Sample and as an Example, to let you see and know that the Positive, the pure, the Real in short, the soul of every living thing can be materialized as well as the person or the physical bodily forms of them. "The little leaven leaveneth the whole lump." CHRIST in you is lying dormant, waiting for the stilling of your conscious mentality, the same as in olden days when they would get leaven and would put a small amount in the bread and knead it together and leave it overnight, and the whole would become leavened. The Magic Yeast in our modern civilization is a slight sketch and a reflection of the old leaven. When you put this Magic Yeast or leaven in your bread, the whole becomes leavened, but in olden times they would take a small amount and make a larger cake of leaven, and you could take it and use it for baking bread, after which you could also take a small amount of it and make more leaven.
That was done in a parable, as a sketch and a reflection of the reality of the leavening process that goes on in the hearts and minds of men when they have brought their bodies into subjection to HIM.
'The little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.'
Hence, the CHRIST in you condescendingly came and rises in your consciousness, to teach you His Life and His Teaching, that He as an Individual brought to fruition in that Body called Jesus. That is why Jesus was the CHRIST; it was because the CHRIST Consciousness was brought to fruition in that Individual, and it caused Him as a Person to become to be the CHRIST not only to be CHRISTLY, but to become the CHRIST HIMSELF!
Then I say,
'The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory, as the Glory of the only Begotten of the Father, full of Grace and of Truth.'
It is a privilege to observe something that is perfect and to vividly gaze upon
it, for such will be the fruit of your experiences when you shall have vividly
gazed upon the perfect picture.
Then I say, the Teaching of this Truth having been made a reality and becoming to be an actual fact in the lives of the children of men in this last dispensation, in this high light of civilization, condescendingly CHRIST came in the midst of the children of men to teach them, as though being the Dean of the Universe. It is the true School of Practical Psychology, humanly speaking; but in reality the School of true Spiritualism, the true CHRIST Consciousness brought to fruition in the hearts and lives of the children of men; not only by mere teaching but also by actual living, and teaching it more so in deeds and in actions than in words, bringing you into subjection by putting My Spirit in you and causing you to walk in My Statutes.
If this School of which you say I AM the Representative, if this school of which you say I AM the Author and Finisher, if it only taught this one lesson Unity of Spirit, of Aim and of Purpose and brought all nations, languages, tongues and people together and dispelled all distinctions, discriminations and prejudices, it would be the greatest school in the universe! It is something that Uncle Sam could not do with all of his Armies and Navies. It is indeed Wonderful! With all of the Armies and Navies of our present civilization, it has never brought about a Universal Brotherhood, and the FATHERHOOD of GOD.
Then I say, who can hinder ME! A School! A School that transcends all human imaginations! Out of all of the earth's vocabularies they cannot find a word adequate to answer the question and bring into outer expression the actuality of what you are realizing. Out of all of our reform schools and seminaries of psychology and theology, and every other "ology," with all of the teachings and doctrines of men, yea, with all of their learning, they have not yet found a way whereby they could bring about the fulfillment in reality, of the answer to Jesus' prayer in the seventeenth chapter of St. John.
'I pray,'
said He,
'that they may be one, even as WE are One.'
For this cause I came this day I COME, to bring you this Message of Love, that
you might
'Love ye one another even as I have loved you;'
not merely in words, but in deeds and in Truth.
I have brought to you, and it is fulfilled this day in your hearing, a course in real natural life, a School that really brings one back to CHRIST, a School that brings mankind back to himself. Truly might one have said, "He is the Dean of the Universe." and truly might the last speaker have said such teaching he had never seen nor heard of, for it is an expression brought to fruition and into materialization, that could not be accomplished among any of the nations, saving by this identical Spirit that came forth through and by the CHRIST Consciousness, relinquishing all claims, all individualities, all races, nationalities, creeds and colors.
If I say not a Word but just bring My immediate Staff together, and those of you that follow after ME, and allow the world to look upon it, it is a lesson they cannot teach with all of their education! If I say not a Word, but actually fulfil that Prayer of Jesus in St. John, it is a lesson that none has actually taught, for it must be taught in actuality, that it might become a reality to the lives and the souls of the children of men.
I need not be an Orator, neither a Speaker nor a Lecturer, for the Spirit of My Presence, and the Presence of My Spirit, is sufficient. The actual work that the Spirit of My Mind is doing in the midst of the people in bringing them together this simple lesson is more than human imagination. You can plainly see that with all of your Federations of Churches and secret organizations, with all of your prayers and all of your praying, with all of your Social Service Organizations and all of their auxiliaries, and with all of the Governments of our present civilization, with their Armies and Navies, you have not taught such a lesson as that I AM now teaching this morning. I have broken down every idol, I have cast out every foe! I have established the Name of GOD as the Ideal of Life in the midst of you, that mankind might recognize this as the Fundamental, and copy after the Fashion I have shown them on the Mountain.
Then truly might the speaker have said, a lesson he has learned such as he had not heard, and neither had he seen. This is a lesson that mankind has been talking about; it is a lesson that they have been hinting at in words, but not in deeds and in actions!
This lesson, as the Fundamental Principle of Life, you have found to be essential, and I have established it. You can never be as you have been; you cannot do as you have done! It is indeed Wonderful! If you do not live non-discriminatedly and non-segregatedly, you will not feel happy, you will not be successful, you will not be prosperous, but you will be miserable creatures!
These are facts and figures too stout to be denied. Jesus, the great Love Master, said,
'In Me you will have peace, but in the world, tribulation.'
Now tell all the nations at large, the mystery of the Presence of GOD and of
this Life and health and happiness and love, comes through and by all being One,
'unified as one man at Jerusalem.'
Now they want to know how I get so much money. Tell the financiers they can get it and they can keep it as well as I, if they will live in the Spirit of CHRIST and put it into practice by putting the Spirit of the CHRIST Consciousness in the children of men, and walking in My Statutes. Every desirable blessing comes through and by Unity of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose and by non-discrimination, non-segregation and by the eradication of all prejudices from your systems, allowing the CHRIST Consciousness to reign supremely. I AM Healthy, I AM Happy, I AM Successful, I AM Prosperous, I AM Wealthy, and I have all Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding, and these Blessings are put forth into action by the recognition of GOD'S Presence and by living evangelical.
This great School! This School teaches you the real Life of GOD, not the human intelligence that brings discrimination and segregation among the people. All human intelligence that brings discrimination and segregation among the people, that is nothing less than the grossest ignorance. Who is it that would be ignorant enough to desire to be separated from his fellow brother? That is the depths of ignorance, when man can be ignorant enough to be intelligent enough to try to discriminate and segregate against his fellow brother; he is as ignorant as the beast of the forest!
Take these thoughts into consideration, for such adverse and undesirable conditions and every human imagination that is in opposition to My Teaching, I dispel and eradicate from your systems, and establish the CHRIST Consciousness in their places, and GOD alone shall reign! After a while, those that think they are intelligent will know they are ignorant. It is indeed Wonderful! Segregation, prejudice and discrimination is nothing less than heathenism. It is indeed Wonderful!
'I pray,'
said He, "
that they may be one, even as We are One.'
For this cause I came and for this purpose I bring this Message of Love to each
and every one, that they might
'know ye the Lord.'
Talking abut being in a civilized country and living in the high light of our
present civilization, and being in the gross ignorance of heathenism; representing
races, creeds and colors and bringing forth discrimination and segregations among
the people!
Take these thoughts into consideration. GOD is reigning in the affairs of men and all that will not bring their bodies into subjection to HIM, they will find themselves minus every desirable blessing imaginable! These blessings come through and by the Unity of Mind of Aim and of Purpose, through and by your living evangelical and casting out of your consciousness all races, creeds and colors and living according to the Life of CHRIST that was called Jesus. Then you will receive the blessings even as we are receiving them. We will have it just this way all over the world.
In this great School of modern civilization we are teaching the Light of true Salvation that comes through and by the Unity of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose, through and by the individuals coming together
'as one man at Jerusalem.'
Just think of this great school in which we are now attending the true Seminary
of Salvation. The only hope of mankind's Redemption is through and by living
according to My Teaching in this great School of Salvation!
It is such a glorious privilege to be living in this Day! As I heard one say some time ago, CHRIST, in the name of Jesus, in the Sonship Degree came. They could kill Him! (But they can't kill you, FATHER," came an instant shout from many.) All right! It is a Principle that cannot be squashed out! It is a matter of impossibility to prohibit this from going on, conquering and to conquer, with or without a Body. Upon this Foundation if you will continue living, the Spirit of My Presence will be with you, and I will give you zeal and courage to meet every issue, for "Greater is He that is within you, than all they that are against you." Live in it, and you will feel it and you will be it, for in you I AM the Victory!
You can see dark clouds of doubts and fears, sighs and tears, segregations, discriminations and prejudices, fleeing away at the coming of this recognition, through the Teaching in this great Seminary of Salvation. The Dean of the Universe is not confined to something you can see with your physical eye, but it is convertible into visible observation and it can be brought into materialization by the person or persons that will bring their bodies into subjection, for the little leaven will leaven the whole lump! This is what it has done; therefore you are in this great School, this Seminary of Salvation that will bring to fruition every true and sound Principle that has been suggested or imagined by the spirit of man through and by the inspiration of the ALMIGHTY.
Truly might one have said by inspiration,
'Out of one blood GOD formed all nations.'
We find this brought to fruition when you are caught up in the inspiration of
the Spirit, for in it you begin to speak and to act after the similitude of each
and every nation that may have been in the creation of the world. They have divided
themselves by tribes, and nations and languages, tongues and people. In these
different languages you begin speaking, and reflecting their different dialects,
and different accents, etc.
From a psychological point of view, in that within itself the Spirit in you by so doing, is bringing to light the great mystery of all nations, languages, tongues and people, by the spirit of these different languages, tongues and people coming up in you as representatives of themselves as different individuals, after the manner of their own language, after the manner of their own nationality, races, and people. You can see the different dialects and accents coming up in the different individuals when they are quickened and resurrected by the Spirit. That is an open expression. In reality, GOD formed man of all nations, languages, tongues and people, out of one Blood and out of one Spirit; hence, of one Mind. Therefore you can see what we are doing in bringing all mankind together in this recognition, that they might
'Love ye one another.'
Then we have a great Teaching here that is in operation, and it will be going on until all of the people shall have been educated. It is not that we must necessarily be seen in Person; the ball has begun rolling. It has already begun rolling, and it will continue to roll, for
'the stone that was cut out of the Mountain'
is the Ball which I AM now speaking of! It is rolling, and it will not cease
to roll until it shall have accomplished that for which it was hewn!
It is such a glorious privilege to live in the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose, and to be united together "as one man at Jerusalem." :You can feel the Ever-presence of GOD, your great Creator and you can walk in His Statutes. Long since I said, and I said it not in vain, "I will preach CHRIST in Words, but more so in deeds and in actions, and I will put My Spirit in them and cause them to walk in My Statutes." Do you not see that the people are beginning to walk in My Statutes? They are learning the mystery of GOD'S Presence. They know within themselves, GOD is their protection.
'GOD is your Refuge and Strength,'
GOD is your Helper, your Healer and your Leader; therefore you shall not faint,
neither need you fret nor worry; for "If GOD is for you, who can be against
you?"
Take these thoughts into consideration. Living, having no occasion to falter nor fear, for the Presence will be with you continually, and you will not have an occasion to falter nor fear, for the Presence of GOD is sufficient, being Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. Therefore naught can get nearer you than this Principle of Whom you say I AM. I thank you!
