FATHER DIVINE
Shortly before FATHER arose to speak, a brother testified how supremely grateful he was for having been saved from death on three recent particular occasions. He told of having called on FATHER and the Spirit concerning a man at the Lorraine Hotel questioning him, after a recording and he replied: "What did you expect GOD to look like? You are made in His Image. You are supposed to look like GOD and GOD is supposed to look like you!" He stated he got resentful and didn't waste his time further in talking to the gentleman.
The brother went on to say that being resentful all through his life has been his downfall, and that FATHER had warned him through the years that he shouldn't care what anybody says about FATHER HIMSELF or anybody else - - he should not get angry or resentful. (FATHER sanctions this, saying, "It's true!") The brother said that he feels all his illness has been based on or caused by resentment and anger, and he considers it has been a birth mark, and he asked FATHER to deliver him from this curse.
He concluded by saying he went to visit another doctor recently. He said, "I thank YOU, FATHER. I know YOU have lifted me and I'm trying to keep from being resentful. I know that's the CAUSE of all of my ailments! I went to another physician Monday and he examined me and said, "You haven't got any heart trouble and you haven't got any asthma!" So I thank YOU, FATHER. I thank YOU! He said, "It's something new." He said, "I have been studying for years and it's a new ailment. It comes from your environment and your thoughts and your association and the thing you see," he said; "they are reflected in you. You are susceptive to them and they take form in you, but in reality there is nothing the matter with you!" So I thank YOU, FATHER. He seemed to know what he was talking about because I told him about getting angry. He said, "Yes, that's the worst thing can happen to any human being, is resentment, and getting angry!" So I thank YOU, FATHER! I thank YOU!"
It was after this testimony that our Beloved LORD and Savior delivered this profound Sermon, stressing for everyone's careful consideration and attention the importance of not getting angry or resentful at any one or over everything; for as HE continues: GOD is the Adjuster and will give Justice to whom Justice is due!
Many other vital thoughts are stressed herein by the Righteous Judge of the Universe and we all should take cognizance and imbibe these Constructive Words of Spirit and Life that we, in turn, can remain Healthy and enjoy Eternal Life!

PEACE EVERYONE! Here we all are again; there I sit and stand! I AM universalizing the "I" of ME as Spirit and Life, as the capital "I" of the alphabet applicable and useful for each and everyone of you! Aren't you glad! ("Yes, so glad!" came the joyful response.)
But I thought to say to the first speaker in keeping with it, with the thought I desired to convey before we further go, I would like to say, it is written:
'Such kind cometh out with fasting and with prayer!'
All of your deep-settled prejudices, bigotry and every mortal, detestable tendency,
that which was implanted in the soil of your souls from your infancy and prenataled
influences, you must get rid of all of them by refusing to allow them to have
access within; for such kind cometh out only with fasting and with prayer, or
by fasting and praying! Fast from those Detestable Tendencies Prenataled within
you, and Hereditation! They are the curses of which I mentioned Scripturally.
The worst enemy you have is that of your own household; your old prenataled influences,
hereditive tendencies and mortal fancies and pleasures individually, such as
would be your personalities and their expressions; they are detrimental and destructive!
But such kind will come out with fasting and with prayer!
Remember Lot's wife, she turned and looked back and she turned to a pillar of salt! Looking back to some of those prenataled influences, hereditive tendencies, mortal fancies and pleasures and hereditation, that which was supposed to have been her ancestors and descendants; they are not only DETRIMENTAL but they are DESTRUCTIVE! Therefore, such kind cometh out only with FASTING and with PRAYING!
As I have often said, you may feel like you have a right to get angry when a person says something to you criticizingly concerning ME. Even matters not what comes up or what may be said concerning even ME, "Fret not yourselves because of the workers of iniquity for they shall be cut off!" (Loud applause resounds.)
I have said apparently jokingly but yet very emphatically and definitely: if you get angry you are committing suicide! Your BODIES are the TEMPLE of GOD and GOD has said, "I will walk in them and dwell in them!" Therefore, when you find yourself being tempted from the prenataled influences within you, your old so-called mother and father; those old detestable tendencies by hereditation rising up to defend you through condemnation -- I have declared if anyone would burn your house up, your wife and all of your children, if you get ANGRY you will PAY the PENALTY! For what said the Scripture? "Sit thou on My Right Hand until I make thine enemy thy footstool!" I will REPAY and I will GIVE JUSTICE to that and to everyone to whom JUSTICE is DUE!
So take these thoughts to consideration! I have stressed it over and over again: If anyone burns your wife and your children up and all you have, all your personal property and all your real property, and even if you have, all your personal property and all your real property, and even if you do not have an insurance to get it back, you should not get angry, for you are destroying yourself and the prospect of Life and Victory for others with whom you are connected!
So take these thoughts to consideration! I need not say more at this particular instance, but for the benefit of the brother, as he said I had already told him about anger -- prenataled influences of prejudice, of bigotry and all of those detestable tendencies and influences prenataled within you -- they will DESTROY you, for they will lead you into TEMPTATION to DO or SAY that which is DETRIMENTAL and DESTRUCTIVE!
So then, matters not what men may think or say, if you stand for the TRUTH and REFUSE to COMPROMISE with those DETESTABLE INFLUENCES within you, GOD will be to you a ROCK in the WEARY LAND and a SHELTER in the time of a STORM! (Thunderous applause resounds.)
Your lead of anger, resentment and those small detestable tendencies come out from selfishness, from bigotry and from prejudice, racism, sectarianism and every abominable ism of expression. You had better let them go and fast all of the offsprings of them out of your system and out of your consideration and live soberly, righteously and Godly; for
'Such kind will come out with fasting and with prayer!'
