FATHER DIVINE
Shortly after the proof reading of the beautiful and very significant Message given by FATHER on Monday evening and Tuesday Morning, July 17th and 18th, 1944 at one fifty-five a.m. our Beloved Savior arose to further stress an important thought for consideration in the above mentioned Message.
Truly can it be said that GOD is Independent to any and everything, with or without HIS Holy Body, and the independence HE is instilling in the hearts and minds of not only HIS Followers but the children of men universally shall bring about a Perfect Democracy. Why? Because when every living creature practices individual independence and leans not on his fellow brother for help, automatically the Standard of Americanism will be lifted up in their lives and affairs and the Perfection of City, State and Federal Government will be a living reality under GOD'S great Banner of Righteousness, Truth and Justice!
Therefore, read carefully these vital Words of Wisdom and enlightenment and put them into practice. If you do you will be obeying GOD, and in obeying GOD you remain under HIS Eternal Love and Protection !

In that Message as proofread a little while ago, it is a thought to be conveyed in what I said to let you see and know I AM making an independent people in the land. From the infants to the man of a ripe old age, each and everyone should be independent and do any and everything that they can do, and not depend on others to do it so long as they can do it efficiently themselves.
I mentioned that thought because unconsciously you may be led erroneously. You may be talking of and speaking continually of your independence and stressing it vividly, and unconsciously you may find yourself depending on another to do something you can do for yourself, and especially in buying watches, fountain pens and many other such things. If you are in the likeness of a woman or if you are in the likeness of a man it is lawful for you to buy a watch or a fountain pen; you do not have to get someone else to buy it for you.
"Blessed is he that trusteth in the Lord, but cursed is he that leaneth on the arm of man for help!"
You look at those who look like men, at times, and feel as if though some simple thing like that you have to get a man to buy it for you! Why is that ? It is the lack of perseverance and the lack of understanding to know MY Intelligence within you is sufficient and as proficient as any other's. Can you not see the mystery?
I will give you executive ability to deal in business, profession, labor and trade and to deal in business affairs intelligently, scientifically and accurately and express yourself as intelligently as MY Spirit would have you to express it.
Oh, how glorious it is to realize what it means to be real independent citizens in the land independent to everything and everybody! As I have said to some who have sought employment through the Courtesy Service of the Peace Mission Movement at the different places some have said to ME, "Well, I cannot get a position from this one or from that one," ( as a representative of the respective Employment Service above mentioned). I said to them, "If you cannot get a position through one of the representatives as agents, you can try another. It is your privilege to do so. And if you cannot get a position through any of the representatives of the Peace Mission Movement, and representatives of the Courtesy Service represented in the Peace Mission Movement, it is your privilege to try other agencies, other ways and means, and be independent to ME as a Person!" That is what I AM talking about! You do not have to be dependents, you can be independent to ME and independent to the Movement, as far as personality is concerned, for I AM Omnipresent and I AM Ever Present, and if I cannot help you through theses channels that I have paved out for you, I can help you independently through some other channel that I have appropriated. That is what I AM talking about! an independence transcending every barrier, every limitation and every mortal-versionated concept!
Oh, how glorious it is to be independent by the Spirit of HIM Who is the great Creator, the Author and the Finisher of all things! I AM making an independent people in the land!
If you desire to go to New York or any other place, you may say, "Well, I can't get accommodations because all of the cars are filled"; even at and in the time when you can use gas as you choose when there are plenty of cars being used by those of the Followers I say as I have said, "If you cannot get accommodations one way you can get it another. You can be independent to ME as a Person and to any other material connections!" That is what I AM talking about! a real independence! And when you shall have developed this independence that I AM representing you will express the Supremacy of GOD among the children of men, for GOD Alone is Supreme!
I AM transmitting GOD'S Supremacy to you and to others as you live it and express it by being independent to every mortal-versionated concept and everything that would be as though it is something from a material point of view on which you depend ! Oh, how glorious it is to be independent!
Take these thoughts to consideration. As I have often said, when trains are not running, buses, boats and airplanes are going! When those things are not running, be independent to them! So long as you have your health and strength you can go by foot if not by train! That is what I AM talking about! Do not allow anything to hinder you and do not allow anything to make you dependent on it.
I do not want you to be dependents and be depending on ME from a Personal point of view. If you cannot get food accommodation here in this Hotel you can get it elsewhere. Be independent! If you happen to come from some other place in Philadelphia, if you cannot get accommodations under the Peace Mission Movement and in its connections, for sleeping, if you can get accommodations elsewhere, be independent to these places as far as those things are concerned and get accommodations elsewhere! And you can do the same as I have shown others how to do and as a good many are doing! When they Cannot and do not get accommodation at one place they get it at another, and they come here and we all worship here together.
That is just a little thought to convey, because so many have been influenced and led erroneously; not necessarily those who are called MY Followers but others. But I desire to see everybody independent and free from every sense of dependence, that they might empress a real citizenry legalistically and politically and patriotically by being independent even as our country declared her Independence as a nation. Then and only then are you expressing a real citizenry according to MY Plan and Purpose! I thank you.
