FATHER DIVINE
Bread of Heaven, Bread of Heaven,

The Bread is the Word of God,

This little composition bespeaks the sentiments of every heart that has been blessed to feast on the Living Manna, the Words of Life that fall from the lips of GOD, FATHER DIVINE. These precious words of enlightenment given daily by our Savior, have brought Rays of sunshine to countless weary souls in this dark war-torn world of turmoil and strife. They have given Hope where there was despair, and Peace where there was confusion; joy where there was grief and sorrow, and Life Everlasting where there was death.
And to all who read or hear these comforting Words, they are waiting to be imbibed to take root in the fertile soil of your heart, so that you too might be blessed with:
'.....beauty for ashes, the oil of joy
For mourning, the garment of praise
For the spirit of heaviness that you
Might be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He might
Be glorified.'
O Comforting King we Truly Thank Thee !

Unite the three Americas,
For in Union there is strength,
If the Lord, your GOD is for you,
None can be against!
So Unify, Unify!
On FATHER's Platform take your stand;
And Democracy will be strengthened
By GOD's Almighty Hand !
Peace, Everyone ! That is a beautiful hymn to be sung, but it is more explicit to be put into practice when we Unite! Unite! Unite! We cannot stress the real modernistic hymns too vividly in the actuated expression of our conscious religious conviction in bringing to the minds of the children of men, the reality of the practicality of Christianity and no longer to be observed superstitiously in the suppositional realm. It is a privilege to live in the advanced spiritual civilization where GOD is teaching Wisdom transcending your fondest imagination, and having the world of superstition completely in the rear and bringing to the conscious recognition and the realization of the children of men, your fondest imagination tangibilated, materialized and realized. Once upon a time, your imagination carried you far beyond the sky out in the no space; in other words, nowhere and nothing space, for the sky is nowhere and is nothing, but everywhere where there is nothing. I came to lift the superstitious from the mortal versionated concept of heaven and from all of the superstitious and suppositional versions of men, into the recognition and the realization of your fondest imagination, for I AM the Tangibilator of your imaginary salvation. Aren't you glad ! Your imaginary salvation is made real by the process of tangibilization.
I AM carrying your fondest imagination from the superstitious realm into the recognition and the realization of millions, for GOD has been Personified ! I said, last Monday night, no doubt someone would preach tonight. Over the amplifier I heard Madam Bishop Williams in person, as it may be termed, but I heard GOD speak! I, in her, did not seem to be preaching misery, sorrow and woe. I, in her, seemed to have been preaching Good News and Glad Tidings and letting the world know,
'GOD is not a GOD afar off, but GOD is a GOD at hand !'
Aren't you glad! Then, if the prophecy of the prophetic age is true, and if the
Doctrine of Jesus Christ is true, that which you call GOD in spirit, is not the
GOD of which I AM speaking. Aren't you glad ! GOD is not a GOD afar off, but
GOD is a GOD at hand! Aren't you glad ! You have preached GOD in the suppositional
heaven long enough! You have depicted GOD far beyond all of the suns, plural
as many, the moons and the stars far beyond the solar system, far beyond your
fondest imagination into some suppositional realm, and yet, GOD has told you,
'GOD is not a GOD afar off, but GOD is a GOD at hand.'
I heard one say, "Speaking in psalms and hymns and in spiritual songs, singing,
making melody in your hearts to GOD." Again, it is written,
'Let your moderation be made known To all men, the Lord is at hand !'
Other than such preaching, I do not consider it to be the preaching of the Kingdom,
neither the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom for which I came !
'Let your moderation be made known
To all men, the Lord is at hand !'
And in most recent years, inside of fifty years, I brought out a composition for your consideration in verifying that statement according to the conviction of millions:
'The Spirit of the consciousness of the Presence of GOD is the Source of all Supply, and it will satisfy every good desire.'
When you are convinced by the preaching of the true Gospel that GOD is truly
at hand, there and then you have convinced yourself once and forever, your every
desire will be satisfied and everything you actually desire will be bountifully
supplied. Why is it ? It is because such a conviction automatically will bring
into expression everything good for the sustenance of your body, for your comfort
and for your convenience. Therefore, you can rejoice and be glad, for GOD is
truly at hand and HE is demonstrating Himself and His Presence in evidence in
your daily experience when you realize it in your consciousness.
Oh, how glorious it is to live in GOD's Presence ! I cannot stress this thought too vividly for it is the experience of millions who are conscious of My Presence. They know MY Presence brings the desirable conditions. I heard one say tonight concerning good things to eat here, but as in the days of old, many followed ME for the fishes and the loaves. If you have GOD Present, and recognize His Presence, you will have a plenty to et at home. Aren't you glad ! You will have every comfort and every convenience, for GOD's Presence automatically will bring them every desirable blessing for your sustenance, both of your body, spirit and mind, for GOD is the Blesser of all mankind. Aren't you glad !
But it is a privilege to live in the recognition of GOD ! It is a privilege to realize GOD automatically will attract and draw everything necessary. As the light dispels darkness GOD will dispel all discord, every undesirable condition when you are actually conscious of GOD's Presence. Aren't you glad ! I cannot stress this thought too vividly, for truly did I say through the Body called Jesus,
'Lo, I will be with you always,'
Now live in this recognition and build upon this foundation and I will be with
you now, henceforth and forever ! You will not have an occasion to fret nor to
worry, for GOD is present !
You have your home steam heated. It is steam heated. It is steam heated to drive the cold away, is it not ? The radiation of your home is radiated for the purpose of bringing the warmth to dispel the cold. GOD's Presence among you is to drive the 'other fellow' away. Aren't you glad ! Truly might have one said:
'I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the people there was none with me.'
But since GOD is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent He is not seeking mortal
man's assistance.
Oh, how glorious it is to live right here where I AM ! Everything that is desirable will come when GOD is held in consciousness and in your conscious conviction as being actually Present. The Presence of GOD will satisfy your every desire if you will be completely self-denied. I just arose to convey these few thoughts and to verify what I afore said. The hymn in expression that was sung; it was "Unite the three Americas," was it not ? We are making practical our religious conviction and we are bringing into outer expression, the reality of it, for when we unite together effectively, that is the Work of your Savior. Christ came that they might be One. Aren't you glad ! But where there is division, there is strife. Where there is unity, there is strength !
So when and wheresoever you see the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose in evidence, even if it is on the political field, it is an expression of GOD's Presence in bringing about the unification of the children of men. I have often mentioned coalition in our political cabinets. Coalition is the Keynote to the Mystery of solving the problems of confusion and bringing an end to destruction among us. It is written,
'Where there is division, there is strife.'
Hence, as long there is division among you, the seed idea of strife remains,
and where there is strife, confusion is predestined to come. Can you not see
the mystery! Therefore, we solve the problem of confusion by bringing an abolition
to all division by this great conversion. If I did not, or would not say a word
after the manner of men, but in the actuated words of expression would unify
them, I would solve your every problem and would adjust matters satisfactorily
for you. I need not do anything but get you together. You have heard men say, "Matters
will adjust themselves satisfactorily", and "Let things adjust themselves." If
I get all division from among you and unite you together effectively according
to the Gospel, why, automatically things will be adjusted satisfactorily.
When there is division and confusion after strife, it is a matter of impossibility to be successful and prosperous in this life; for where there is division and confusion and strife, scarcity, limitations, adverse and undesirable conditions result. Nut oh, how glorious it is to observe the extreme reverse. Where there is Unity, Harmony and Tranquility, harmonious conditions with Success and Prosperity, Life, Health and Happiness, result.
"How can HE do it? How is it done ?"" Get rid of self completely and as I said to Nicodemus through the Body of the Son,
'Ye must be born again !'
Aren't you glad ! If you are born out of the Adamic state of consciousness into
the Christ Consciousness and become to be a New Creature, you will walk in the
Newness of Life and things will work automatically harmoniously because of the
Newness of Life that you are walking in. It will attract the desirable conditions
and desirable conditions will result on every hand.
As I have often said, why live in division ? Why not realize, one is not without the other even if you are not conscious of it. Come to the realization of the Mystery, how GOD predestined that you should be in Unity, and realize, the person or persons, matters not how great you maybe, whether in number or in power, you are limited if you are divided. But if you are unified with that one with whom you are unified together, you have the power of at least two, but if you are divided, you have lessened your power by about fifty per cent.
So it is well worth considering to observe the Mystery. Cooperation and harmonization is the Mystery. It will solve every problem. It will adjust matters satisfactorily for you. But you must realize, even in cooperation, there must be harmonization mentally and spiritually, to get the results you are seeking. For unless you harmonize internally, your external cooperation and harmonization will not be successful and prosperous.
When you are unified mentally and spiritually, which is to say, unified internally, your external cooperation and participation will be perfect, for your physical body and your business and activities will express your mental and spiritual conception conceiving the idea of something that is good, putting it forth into expression firstly in your spirit and in your soul, allowing it to go forth to others, and when they get it accordingly, the reaction of your inner urge and mental conception will be manifested outwardly and all will observe the outward expression of your mental and spiritual conception.
How glorious it is to observe Mine! As you sit and stand around, you are expressing My Mental and Spiritual Concept concerning thing that concern you. Aren't you glad ! I have declared by composition as a motto for the consideration of the people concerning the Mystery of My Work and My Mission:
'The abundance of the fullness of the Consciousness of good, no space is vacant Of the fullness thereof.'
I carry in My Consciousness the abundance of the fullness, and I AM conscious
of it ! I produce it and bring it into outer expression and you are the manifestors
of it. Wheresoever I AM, matters not what size auditorium I have, it is filled
to capacity and overflowing. I carry in My Consciousness the abundance of the
fullness and I AM conscious of the Goodness of it, and I produce and bring it
into outer expression in business, profession, labor and trade, and in every
activity because I AM the Creator of it ! Aren't you glad ! I also create desirable
conditions resulting from the mental and spiritual conception of the abundance
of the fullness of the Goodness. I create desirable environments because I AM
the Creator of the environments, and those who live in the atmosphere where I
create such environments, they are changed automatically. They think differently
and act accordingly ! Aren't you glad ! That is the Mystery of what you see and
hear.
'The abundance of the fullness of the consciousness of good, no space is vacant of the fullness thereof.
I have no space in consciousness, nor in consideration vacant of the Goodness of GOD. Aren't you glad ! Therefore I have a full and a plenty to eat, to drink and to wear for you all. That is the Mystery ! Then I say, live in this recognition and take on the characteristics and the disposition of your Savior and use this technique if you wish to, for it is impersonal; it is operative and expressive. All may have it if they use it unselfishly. Aren't you glad ! The Key to the Mystery of Salvation ! The Key that will solve your every problem ! The Key that will unlock every barred and shut door ! The Key that will give you Peace and Joy forevermore. Aren't you glad !
Then I say, build upon this Foundation and fret not yourselves because of the workers of iniquity, for I have created an environment that transcends all adverse and undesirable conditions, and the desirable I bring to the people. Now would you not rather have a practical scientific psychologist that could and would produce the practical science of living and put it forth into expression from every angle expressible, than to have an impractical dreamer talking about something imaginary? Aren't you glad ?
Everything you think you have had and think you will get, I have it! If it is good, I have it, for I bring it into outer expression. I make it real, tangible, and practical for the comfort and the convenience of humanity. Even the impractical dreamers of heaven and of religion, the way they have depicted religion and heaven in the Mystery, I have made it a living reality, for I have come to make your fondest imagination real, tangible and practical and fulfil your prayers you prayed from your early existence:
'Let Thy Kingdom come and Thy Will Be done on earth, as it is in heaven.'
I came to bring the Government of Heaven to the earth plane. If I would have
spoken in the Prayer as interpreted, I could and would have said, "You pray
to GOD to let His Government come down here in earth, or on earth, as it is in
Heaven," I came to bring it down to the children of men and cause the practicality
of true Christianity to become to be a living reality.
You know, you all would like to have nice homes, a plenty to eat, to drink and to wear ! A plenty of automobiles and comfort and convenience and everything that life demands. All of these blessings are in His Hands to satisfy the poor ! He shall impart them to you ! You all have read, no doubt, and heard one of Christendom's old composition:
'Ten thousand blessings in His Hands to satisfy the poor.'
But I have come and enumerated to you, millions times and millions times and
millions times more, and have proven to you conclusively once and forever, there
are so many blessings, you cannot enumerate them. Then, this is Good News and
Glad Tidings, for truly did Jesus say,
'When He, the Comforter has come ....'
Are not these comforting Words to the believers, the true and the Faithful ?
I came to dispel all of your doubting and doubtfulness and all of your fears.
Therefore, the comforting Words I have spoken this evening, may they rest in Peace and in comfort and in hope until they take form in your experience and we will bring an absolute abolition to the slum conditions in your city. We will bring an abolition to sickness, affliction and diseases among the people. We will bring an abolition to the panics and famines in your community, for GOD, in His abundance of Love and Mercy for humanity has decillions and decillions of Blessings for those who will Serve Him, Obey Him and Love Him. I thank you.
