The Rockland Palace, as usual, had a capacity crowd, and the aisles and doorways and every possible standing space was filled by the followers, friends and visitors of FATHER DIVINE.
Representatives of many foreign nations were present at this Meeting, among them a gentleman from Iraq, Asia, who spoke briefly and who was much interested in the Message FATHER gave on the power of GOD and His Determination to carry out His Plans for the emancipation of humanity from the ills by which it is beset.
This is a most powerful Message on the unification of the American Republics, for the executives of all the Americas to deeply consider; although they may ignore it for the present, FATHER'S words must some day be fulfilled, as HE declares, whatsoever HE wills must be done!

PEACE EVERYONE! Good Health, Good Will; a Good Appetite; Good Manners and Good Behavior! In the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose, to you I come with a contagion that is constructive but not destructive. It is for this cause I stress a Good Appetite, that you as hearers and adherents to My Message might have a Good Appetite for it.
I would just like to say, a few years ago, fanatically speaking apparently, I said: "As I have it in this dining room, so shall I have it universally!" I said, "It shall go from shore to shore and from land to land, for all mankind shall feel the effect and be contagionized with this great Contagion!" How glad I AM!
At this instance I would just like to say: I have proven to the world conclusively, once and forever,
'As in Adam all die, so shall in JESUS CHRIST all be made alive!'
Politically speaking, I say,
'As with an individual, so with a nation, and as with a nation, so with all of the nations universally.'
Therefore, that which I have spoken can be brought to pass, for the Mouth of
GOD has declared it!
I have noticed that the human mind, which is mortality in evidence in the consciousness of humanity, often thinks it can fathom out the way and pave out the way for the Almighty. It has been brought to the surface and into outer expression by a composition many years ago:
'What the LORD has promised HE is able to perform!'
The Power of GOD is just the same today! Believe ME or believe ME not, it is
absolutely immaterial to ME; I AM here to tell you emphatically,
'What the LORD has promised HE is able to perform!'
This is not a supposition. Far be it from an imagination; but in the conscious
recognition and in the realization of the millions, they understand by faith
and by the conscious recognition and the realization, all things are possible
with the Infinite!
If someone would have told any of you just a few years ago that such an audience as this could be gathered and organized scientifically apparently, where they all would be in unison, in actions, in words and in deeds, you would not have believed it. But oh, how glorious to realize,
'What the LORD has promised HE is able to perform!'
And above every opposition, above every criticism, above every mortal version,
above all of your human suppositions, what the LORD has promised, HE is able
to perform!
I shall have it just as it is here all over the world! And I AM not asking mortality to help ME! It is immaterial to ME what you think about it! What the LORD has promised HE is able to perform!
Now what said the Scripture concerning the mystery?
'It is not by power nor by might but by My Spirit!'
Then I say, My Spirit will do it! I AM not bothering about mortality! It matters
not with ME what mortality may think or say. It is written in your Gospel, to
those of you who are Christians, in other words, in your Gospel Epistle the same
as the Gospel it is an Evangelical message:
'Behold we put bits in horses' mouths and we turn the whole body about!'
What spoke I that parable for, through the Apostle if such a parable was not
true? If it is not true and if it does not mean something, what GOD can and will
do, why, then it should not have gone on record as a message, as a Gospel truth,
being recorded under the lids of the Bible!
Now I say,
'We put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn the whole body about!'
What the LORD has promised HE is able to perform! We have a Righteous Government;
but as was in the days of the creation, GOD from time to time spoke into existence,
Biblically speaking, the things that HE created. The same Spirit and the same
Presence are just as operative and just as expressive!
When things of GOD'S Creation were invisible and even unimaginable, you could not, if there would have been a conscious mentality, imagined such things that are now in existence; but from the invisible realm GOD spoke into outer expression and into visibility, the earth that HE had created that was void and without form. If you know Who GOD is, if GOD could create the heaven and the earth and the earth could be without form, GOD could speak it into outer expression and into visibility that it might be observable. GOD did not need any man to help HIM to bring it into observation.
Although it was invisible; the earth was void and without form; it was impractical, unprofitable and good for nothing in the invisible realm I AM speaking Biblically now, even if it was superstition, I AM speaking Biblically, superstitiously according to the Biblical history. I speak and I act accordingly for there are those of the masses who live according to Biblical history, therefore I speak in their language that they might understand it.
The earth, I say, was void. GOD created the earth. GOD could bring it into observation when HE willed to. Now aren't you glad? If it would have been the conscious mentality of men, especially if they were atheistically inclined or mythically inclined, or if they were superinteligent as the mortal minds are today, they would have said, "GOD started something HE could not finish!" What the LORD has promised HE is able to perform!
Such a man would have said at that time, "GOD created the earth and HE has made it and created it, whichever, and it is void and without form impractical, unprofitable and good for nothing. For what purpose created HE it?" Omniscience knew what to do! I AM speaking among you! The same Spirit is speaking today. The very same ONE that created the heaven and the earth and the earth was void and without form!
Man had not yet appeared on the scene, according to Biblical history; and GOD Himself did not even have a Body to speak in! But His Body shall not hinder Him! GOD'S Body shall not hinder Him!
'Let dry land appear!'
Why? Because GOD was getting ready to prepare man a body in which to live, out
of the dust of the ground that HE created that had not yet been seen. From the
likeness of man GOD would prepare Himself a Body and come and speak and live
among men, and yet in the likeness of them, but naught would hinder Him!
'Let dry land appear!'
Dry land appeared without any power of your own to bring it about; without any
of your mortal versionated concepts. GOD is Omniscient without a letter of the
English alphabet; without a verb of Webster's; without an idea; without an opinion.
GOD is Infinite by nature; Omnipotent and Omniscient! The same Spirit is speaking!
It is transmittable, it is true, but you have to get out of the way individually,
severally and collectively mortal-mindedly, and let GOD speak and act! Then GOD
will be on the scene where you once have been!
What a privilege to live in such a recognition! That which I have spoken into consideration can be as much effectively established as your fondest imagination concerning the most insignificant thing that you might imagine! GOD will not give you an imagination HE cannot fulfill! GOD said,
'Let dry land appear'
four thousand and four years B. J. and now I say to the Chief Executive of this
Democracy,
'Let there be the United Countries of America!" Now I mean what I AM talking about!
Just the same as I did when, Biblically speaking, according to Biblical history,
I, as Spirit, moving out upon the face of the deep and said, "Let there
be light and there was light!" Now the same Spirit is speaking today! It
is in a Body and I AM speaking to the chief executives of this democracy and
I AM saying,
'Let there be the United Countries of the Americas!'
My Body and the executives' bodies shall not prevent it! I say My Body and the
executives' bodies shall not prevent it! I say,
'LET THERE BE THE UNITED COUNTRIES OF THE AMERICAS!'
I AM not bothering about the bodies! I have thrown off this Body! I AM SPIRIT!
I say, I AM SPIRIT! I AM the same Spirit that said,
'Let there be light and there was light!'
I AM the same Spirit that said,
'Let dry land appear and dry land appeared!'
It matters not with ME whether you believe or not; My Body will not prohibit
the Spirit and will not especially help it, but will merely declare it!
It is immaterial to ME what you mortal minds say. It is immaterial to ME what any of the mortal-minded prejudicial rulers of the nations say. I say,
'Let there be the United Countries of America!'
I AM not bothering about what they say; yet I have appealed to the spirit of
the ruler-ship degree in each and everyone of the rulers of these twenty-one
Republics and I have requested it. If they do not obey My Voice I WILL Move out
of them! I AM SPIRIT! I said, I AM SPIRIT! What has My Body to do with what I
say? What has your radio as a mechanical machine to do with what the broadcaster
says and what comes in through by it? I say I AM SPIRIT! I say I AM SPIRIT and
the same Spirit that said,
'Let dry land appear!'
Now I say,
'Let there be the United Republics of the Americas and all of them under this Democracy!'
That is what I said and I mean it! Let each and every democracy of these three
Americas, at least, of this part of North America, the United States of America
and the other twenty Republics, be the United Republics of the Americas! Now
I said it and I mean it! I say, I SAID IT AND I MEAN IT! It is written in your
Gospel,
'Let there be no division among you",
and I came to unite the Republics of America together under the Constitution
and its Amendments that they might be protected by our North American Independence!
That is what I came for. I came to America that I might be called an American!
Now as an American Citizen, although apparently insignificant, I speak spiritually
in the Name of the Infinite Spirit, the ONE Who moved out upon the face of the
deep and said,
'Let there be light and there was light",
and said,
'Let dry land appear and dry land appeared!'
I Am speaking in this Mighty Name, who you say I Am! Now I say,
'Let there be the united countries of america, the united republics of the americas'
that is if they live! If civilization does not perish, I said, let them come
together, even as I said,
'let dry land appear", and "let there be light!'
And so those things were as I would have them be when I alone, as Spirit, moved
out upon the face of the deep. That is your privilege. Throw off your body and
I will speak through you! The Apostle puts it, "It is no longer I, but the
CHRIST that dwells in me!" Through My Condescension I drop that quotation
for your consideration that you might not butt at the Fundamental and stumble
at the Promise!
As Doctor Broadman said, how can it mean any harm or any wrong? How can it be detrimental to either one of these Republics of the Americas if they all be unified or unite together and all have the same protection of our independence, of our North American Independence of these United States of America how could it be detrimental to any one of these Republics? For they all would have the equal chance of each and every American citizen. They would have the freedom of speech, the freedom of peaceful assemblage and the freedom of the press. They would be privileged to serve GOD to the dictates of their own conscience; therefore those who have been mistreated and molested because of their religious conviction, they would have a free chance for expression under this Democracy, whether they be Catholics or Protestants; they all would have an equal chance for expression.
By so doing and by so being, they would have a chance to develop mentally and spiritually and bring to fruition their highest leading by being governed by their highest intuition religiously. They would develop the CHRIST in perfection with victory.
As I have it Personally, so would they all have it. Just as I have it under this jurisdiction and in these audiences, so would all of the nations of our divers Republics of the Americas be in a very few brief years, when they all would be under one Democracy and have the privilege of our governmental schools of learning to teach the one language of which we speak!
This would not prohibit you teaching your respective native language if you wished to, but as a Democracy you would have the privilege to learn the English perfectly and also study your own respective languages as they do under this Democracy. You are privileged to study practically any language you wish to under this Democracy, but the leading schools of learning under this government, as governmental schools, they teach you English, but yet they also teach you other languages if you desire to take such courses.
But we shall have ONE LANGUAGE and ONE SPEECH! We shall have ONE DEMOCRACY in these Americas and we shall have ONE FLAG! Aren't you glad?
I need not say more. "Yes, YOU have said enough until YOU got Yourself all excited." (At this the audience laughed heartily, as FATHER was speaking a thought concerning Himself from someone's mind who thought it.)
Peace, everyone: I would rather get all excited as I AM than to see millions of American people slain, to see them murdered at the hands of the invaders! I AM FOREWARNING THE AMERICAS! THEY HAD BETTER COME TOGETHER EVEN AS I HAVE IT JURISDICTIONALLY!
From an individual point of view, so shall it be governmentally, nationally and internationally as far as these three Americas are concerned.
You have heard people say, "Why, you cannot get the people together. You cannot get the people to come to the church." I cannot get a church large enough to hold them!
They say everything a tongue can say antagonistically and maliciously concerning ME, but yet My followers and others love ME! Now aren't you happy? It causes you to LOVE ME BETTER! Aren't you glad? Upon this foundation if you will stand, and as one speaker said a little while ago, by you thinking POSITIVE THOUGHTS and holding the POSITIVE in consciousness and in consideration at all times, the POSITIVE is your portion! This is the result of POSITIVE THINKING!
Now when these United States of America shall have been united together with all of the other Republics, naturally the immigration law will no longer be, for there will be but ONE DEMOCRACY! Aren't you glad? When the United Republics shall have been actually established it will be the same in all of the different Republics of the Americas as it is in these United States of America! You will have a free access to go from one Republic to the other even as you have a chance to go from one state to the other now. The only difference, it may be necessary for you to pay your fare or toll across some toll bridge, the same as we do coming from Jersey over here; that is natural; that will be in the beginning. But after a while all of that will be eliminated, for as with an individual so with a nation!
When I mentioned the Cooperative System from and for an economic point of view, among those of My followers to lift them out of poverty, some thought it could not be done; but there is no limit to the extension of this Work cooperatively; yet I AM not putting up a penny! As with an individual so with a nation!
My followers cooperatively, millions of them some may not have more than a few dollars; some may have a few thousand dollars; some may have a few million; but all are willing and ready to cooperate together.
'Of this kingdom and peace and of its increase there shall be no end!'
They cannot stop it! Even if it was possible for everything in visibility or
in outer expression today, to go into oblivion, inside of a few days it could
be duplicated over and over again! NOW TELL THEM I SAID IT! It is a matter of
impossibility to hinder ME!
It has been taught in your churches and in your different schools of learning and in your divers organizations among your respective representatives, "Together we stand but divided we fall." Here are a few out here tonight as a sample and as an example of how My followers will stand together; how they will stand firmly for ME! This is a slight sketch and a reflection of a percent of a fraction of a grain of the way and of what they are and of what they will do universally; for they are in all parts of this land and country and in other countries the same as they are under the sound of My Voice proportionally! Aren't you glad? (This brought a great shout from the many thousands present, affirming the words of their LORD. FATHER continues:)
Then I say, this is to show you what our United Republics of the Americas could do by unifying together as My followers do economically, and cooperating together in the Cooperative System, having faith in each other and willing to trust each other by doing away with all graft and all greed and all selfishness, all big "I" and little "you". By unifying together, CAPITAL and LABOR are unified once and forever, never to sever; therefore naught can sever us if you live together and be true and faithful according to our Cooperative System, economically, socially, financially and otherwise, as I have brought you all together mentally and spiritually in the Spirit of your GOD.
I need not say more; I believe I have said enough to stir up your pure mind. But to stress in your memory once again I will say: I SAID, "Let there be the United Countries of America", even as the same Spirit said before I had any Body, said, "Let there be light and there was light!" As this same Spirit said, before it had any Body, after it created the earth and the earth was void and without form,
'Let dry land appear and it appeared!" Now I say, "Let there be the United Republics of the Americas and all be under ONE DEMOCRACY, with the full protection of our North American, the United States', Independence!'
When this is done it will not be detrimental to anyone! I thank you, I thank
you, I thank you!
PEACE EVERYONE! I do not wish to bore you with My Presence, My Thoughts, My Ideas and My Opinions; for I do not wish for you to be hindered in any of your endeavors, so long as you are governed intuitively, even though it may be in opposition to ME!
I wish to say at this instance, if there is not any other visitor or representative who has something important and would like to have something to say, we shall have a short recess for the space (FATHER looked at His watch) I have consumed practically all of the time; but since My co-workers, followers, friends, hearers and representatives and even the manager and proprietor of this hall, you all are one with ME, I can say with assurance, you all will agree to anything I say. ("Yes! Yes!" shouted the many thousands.) You will systematically and harmoniously harmonize with ME. I will have more, no doubt, to tell you a little later; but at this instance we are going to have a little recess for the space of about an hour, until around about twelve o'clock, until it is time for ME to come to bid you all PEACE until I return. I thank you.
(After the one hour had elapsed FATHER again appeared on the large rostrum to be greeted in loving adoration by the shouts of the great gathering, and almost immediately HE stepped forward to the microphone to again address the audience, speaking as follows:)
PEACE EVERYONE! Here we all are again and there I sit and stand! In the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose to you and all mankind I come! As a sketch and a reflection of a percent of a fraction of a grain of what we will do universally as well as among you, I AM demonstrating just a slight sketch and a reflection of it!
That little composition, I would like to say to our visiting friends, those who are not conscious of the substantialness of it and the conscious conviction and the realization of those who sing it; I would like to say, they look as if though they are not fearing anything. They act and move and speak according to the same as if though they are in GOD'S care!
By this conviction millions move, rejoice and receive the results according to their conviction. I have declared, as with an individual, so with a nation.
You have heard these, My followers, say and sing;
'I am in His Care! No evil can harm me!'
Then I say, as I have appealed to the diverse Republics of the Americas to unite
together, this is a sketch and a reflection of a percent of a fraction of a percent
of a grain of the reality of what I AM telling you! These, My followers, are
united together and they believe through their conviction that they are in GOD'S
Care. They consciously believe that no evil cannot harm them; in other words,
no evil can harm them; and they believe that they are protected by the Actual
Presence of GOD, by being true and faithful and obedient to His Word. I have
declared as with an individual so with a nation.
The Spirit of GOD'S actual Presence has paved out the way for each and every person and has paved out the way for all of the nations of the universe. Therefore if the nations of this civilization universally will but take cognizance of My Message, no evil will be able to harm the divers Republics of these Americas!
I cannot stress this thought too vividly for it is the time and the season that all men should take cognizance of it, and especially the rulers of these divers Republics. It is the time that they should take cognizance of this Message and consider, even though insignificant apparently, what you behold in these different audiences, what you see and hear concerning My followers, how they are protected above lacks, wants and limitations; how they are above all depressions; how they do not fear the aggressions of the divers representatives of the aggressive nations; how GOD Himself in Love and Mercy is a Real Protection for you individually. You believe that the same Protection is for each and every living creature, but especially to those of these American Republics, as I have stressed the significance of unifying together.
These My followers as they sit and stand in this auditorium this morning are but a slight sketch and a reflection of a sample of an example of how all of these three countries or nations and all of the different republics, the twenty-one Republics of North America, Central America and South America, can be emancipated and freed from lacks and wants and limitations and can live over and above any depression without the fear of any aggression!
I cannot make this appeal too vividly. The American people and even the European people, the Asia-ites and others, they know of My Work, they know of My Mission. They know of what I have accomplished economically. They know of what I have accomplished for those that will accept of My Message and have accepted of it. I say, as with an individual, so with a nation!
Then it behooves the twenty-one Republics of these Americas to unify together under ONE DEMOCRACY as a national and international defense against any aggression and any attack that may be made against these Americas by any nation!
Do not think that I AM a fanatic. I have stressed the Constitution and its Amendments for many years so vividly until thousands and millions, not only in this country but in the South and Central American countries have been converted into the Spirit of this Democracy. They are calling for a deliverance, they are calling for a Deliverer!
This country can be the SALVATION of millions of lives from destruction, from immorality, from sickness and disease and from invasions by which they are now partially threatened
I need not say more. The time is well expired. The Spirit of My Presence will tell you more and more by and by. But as you live it and take cognizance of it and get busy in unifying these three American countries in the Unity of Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose under One Democracy, this of ours, and give each and every Republic their real Independence of this independence that the North American subjects fought for, let them all enjoy it; it will not harm anyone but it will be a protection and it will be a ban against all invaders and attacks that may arise against you from any other nation, for you are now being threatened! I thank you, I thank you, I thank you!
PEACE EVERYONE! I just wish to say before I make My seeming departure: I will not bore you longer. I do not bear record just now whether I will be here Personally next Sunday or not I will not say definitely. In Krum Elbow a new steel structure building has been finished. They are waiting My Arrival on the earliest date possible for the dedication of this new steel structure building. It may be possible that I will be there in Person next Sunday; I do not say definitely I will. But if any of you are going up that way, up to the Promised Land, whether the roads are bad or good, be careful in driving. Be watchful and mindful and do not try one to get ahead of the other. As Law-abiding citizens, I in you will obey this request and you will not get in any trouble. I thank you.
