Peace Everyone: Here we all are again. There I sit and stand. In the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose among you I AM! At this particular instance I have arisen just to say a very few words that might be essential to be stressed in your memory. Reverend Smith said a little while ago, 'CHRIST said to the rich young ruler what the one thing was that he lacked that he might inherit Eternal Life, and you all know that.'
Now it is a privilege to be extremiated and to have come to your destination! You have often heard,
'Man's extremity is GOD'S opportunity.'
If I had not been extremiated, I would extremiate MYSELF and bring MYSELF to
MY destination that I might supernaturally have a chance for expression! Aren't
you glad!
'One thing thou lackest. Go and sell all you have and give to the poor and then come and follow ME!'
I said,
'Go and sell all and then come and follow ME, after you shall have given it to the poor!'
That is the way the Mystery of GOD is fulfilled in your hearing and those who
might live, might live and do as JESUS bid them do. And that was the one thing
they lacked, and that was the rich young ruler's one thing. He said:
'All of these things thou knowest. Thou knowest the Commandments' or 'I know the Commandments';
which is to say, do no kill, do not steal, do not commit adultery!
'All of these things have I kept from my youth up,'
said he. But yet there was one thing and that thought is marvelous to behold.
If you came extremiated, or if you have been extremiated, if you have lost everything
you have, you are blessed of GOD if you take it from that angle of expression,
for you shall have come to your extremity.
In the extreme emergency, GOD is the source and the supply and the satisfier of every good desire. Therefore, it is a privilege to realize you can be extremiated and bring yourself individually to your destination and can work cancellation on yourself to the lowest terms, and when you shall have cancellated and eradicated yourself completely, if anyone else liveth, it will no longer be you, but the CHRIST that liveth in you!
It is a blessing to be poor. It is a blessing to be poor from every point of view. CHRIST came as the poorest among men, yet making many rich. It is a Blessing to be poor intellectually! Aren't you glad! It is a Blessing to be poor scientifically and be poor from every angle expressible and let GOD be your help in every need! You see the Mystery? So then to be extremiated is a great blessing. To be under-privileged and non-privileged is a great Blessing, because GOD will be your opportunity and GOD will be your privilege, and that is the Mystery. That is why you see the supernaturalness and supremacy of GOD in the earth plane because man's extremity gave GOD an opportunity and gave GOD a chance for expression when man by limitation had no power or diction for expression! Aren't you glad!
If I did not know a letter of the English alphabet, with the right concept and the understanding of the truth concerning the mystery, I could have been super intelligent by the extremiation and by the cancellation of MYSELF as a Person! Aren't you glad! GOD is wheresoever you bring yourself to your destination! GOD Is there for expression!
So then I say it is a privilege, MY fellow citizens, hearers and friends, to be as though you are nothing that GOD supernaturally might be Something in expression! Look over this vast audience. Many with whom I have come in contact and millions of whom I have not come in contact Personally, say,
'Where does HE get so much money from?
How does HE do it?'
Do you not see something here greater, bigger and better than money? How can
and where does he get that something from, that will bring them from land to
land and from shore to shore, and what is that and how do you get that love that
will cause them to love ME and let go and let GOD completely? That looks more
miraculous than just a little money? Many people can get a little money! Well,
if you choose to say, a whole lot of money, plenty people can get a whole lot
of money! But Did you ever see anybody who could get so much love and cause men
and women I AM talking about young men and young women, old men and old women--leave
land and country, fathers and mothers, sisters, and brothers, to follow ME? Aren't
you glad!
Then money is not a percent of a fraction of a grain of a percent of a fraction of a grain of a percent of a fraction of what I have! This is Mighty holy love! This love that causes you and your friends and your nations to love ME so, they will say, 'you may go and I will go too!' Aren't you glad! Money did not do it! What said the gospel concerning this mystery?
'GOD so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish but have Everlasting Life.'
This is a mighty love, isn't it? Aren't you glad! One declared,
'Love is stronger than death!'
It must be a mighty love! It stops death on its wild career and bids your sorrows
cease! It is music in a sinner's ears, it is life and health and peace! Isn't
that wonderful?
There are others in England, Australia, Europe and other parts of Asia and Africa coming here -- young and old! Something caused them to do it, because this holy love is stronger than death! It is stronger and more powerful than that of the gravitation of the earth! It will attract and draw all real true love unto itself! I mean that incorruptible love! I mean that undefiled love! I mean that unselfish love! I am not talking about human affection, lust and passion for this love will cause you to be willing to leave all that behind! Will cause you to be willing to leave all of that behind, and you know when you come into this love and bring yourself into subjection to it, why, human affection, lust and passion have no access for expression! Aren't you glad!
I shall crush the serpent's head! Aren't you glad! Not only crush its head, but I shall cut if off! I AM cutting it off now! Aren't you glad!
What is that that causes your human affection, lust and your passion to be still? Who is it that controls it? ('YOU, FATHER Dear,' came the reply) Wonderful! The great inventor of electricity harnessed the lightning, did he not? But One has harnessed your mentality and all of your energy and brought it into subjection! Now you shall serve the Lord with gladness and enter HIS presence with thanksgiving and in his courts with singing! That is what I am talking about! I think I had better stop! Aren't you glad!
Peace, everyone! I do not wish to bore you longer and not anyone else do I wish to bore, but I was obliged to tell you just what it is all about, because the average person does not question,
'Where does HE get such love from?'
Love that harnesses humanity's mentality and all of their energy and brings their
lust and passion into subjection and causes them to be holy, conscientious, sincere
and virtuous! I thank you!
