'I want to thank YOU for the response that this great City (Philadelphia) is making in recognition of YOUR Work here. I regret that we can't boast of similar in New York City; but we would like very much to have YOU there oftener. YOUR Spirit has always done everything that the Spirit wanted to do, and it appears that the great purpose for which YOU came to Philadelphia has been largely materialized. YOU have impressed YOURSELF in the hearts and minds of the people of the town who are responsive to YOUR Work.
YOU have completed that great DIVINE EXAMPLE of MATRIMONIAL PERFECTION that YOU are giving to humanity, and it appears that YOUR next move should be to give us a little more consideration in New York; and I am sure if YOUR Spirit will allow it, that it will be done.'
Upon Mr. Madison asking to be excused to catch a train FATHER said that maybe one of the brothers will take him to the station. (As Mr. Madison said, 'Thank YOU!' FATHER continued speaking as follows:)
'Just before Mr. Madison gets completely out of hearing I would like to say, it is a blessing to the people everywhere I go! When and where a good many of the New York people would not allow ME to bless them, MY Blessings for those who are True and Faithful, and even the community at large in these other cities and states, are growing by leaps and bounds, and we do not have enough housing facilities in these States, Jersey and Pennsylvania, to accommodate all of the people that want to be under this Jurisdiction!
'But there is a group of Followers did take over-purchased another apartment house this week--and others are coming on! ... Therefore, there will be more of MY Followers leaving New York City!
'As Lieutenant Rieger said a few years ago, New York's losses were the gain of Philadelphia! So we have nothing to lose but everything to gain! Through cooperation and participation those who live according to MY Teaching, you will be blessed wheresoever you be and wheresoever you go, and your success shall increase more and more!
