FATHER DIVINE:
PEACE, EVERYONE:
At this time I have arisen to say, One Eternal Merry Christmas and One Eternal Happy New Year, with good health, good will and a good appetite as usual, but more extensively since the battles have been fought and the victory has been won, I can say more profoundly and universally, glory to god in the highest and on earth, peace, Good will toward men. These blessings to you and all humanity I have extended, not just today nor yesterday but I have extended these blessings to humanity since the time when in Spirit and Spirit alone, I, as Spirit, moved out upon the face of the waters and said,
'Let there be light and there was light!'
To the general public and the universe at large, this is the time commonly considered and known as Christmas time, and many are sending out Christmas in other words, the Holiday's Greetings representing a Merry Christmas and speaking of it explicitly, and a Happy New Year to follow, after the Merry Christmas has been enjoyed. But we are privileged to say to you: Christmas, explicitly interpreted, could be understood to be CHRIST S MASS, the MASS of CHRIST! Not the limited Low Mass or High Mass for an ordinary person, but the CHRIST MASS; a MASS that has been extended as a blessing to humanity! Not merely as a Christmas gift that is given ordinarily and yearly at the same season or time, whichever, that you are requested to give other Christmas presents, but this Christmas Gift of which I AM speaking, it will last now, henceforth and forever!
Therefore, I do not merely say, 'The Holiday's Greetings!' which is to say, 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!' but I do say, 'ONE ETERNAL MERRY CHRISTMAS AND ONE ETERNAL HAPPY NEW YEAR!'
As CHRIST liveth, so will you live when you all stand for that one common eternal Christmas Day, recognizing not only the Birth of JESUS but also recognizing the Resurrection, believing and realizing Christmas in the CHRIST consciousness, is Eternal. And those who observe it to that extent will be blessed now, henceforth and forever, and the CHRIST in them is truly resurrected!
After the manner of men I do not send you nor extend to you mere Christmas Greetings at the time of the season, but you observe the Christmas of which I AM expressing, producing and bringing to fruition in the hearts and lives of this people universally! When they recognize GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE this CHRISTMAS within the hearts and minds of humanity will solve every purpose; in other words, every problem, and answer every question! Aren't you glad! ('So glad!' replied the audience joyously.)
Then I need not say, 'Happy New Year!' for I have created such a happiness by science and by the natural course of things until happiness to the universe I extend! When you live exactly according to MY teaching, happiness will be produced and brought to fruition, and you as living creatures will become to be the personification of this ONE ETERNAL HAPPY NEW YEAR! AREN'T YOU GLAD! ('so glad, GOD Almighty!' responded the audience.) And as you live it and express it, to others you will transmit it, and your very words and deeds and actions will be expressions of MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR and a blessing with Thanksgiving, once and forever, for the resurrection of your Savior!
We bring these great events together and cause you to recognize GOD'S Presence and verify MY often rehearsed motto as a statement and as a declaration and yet as an answer to millions:
'The Spirit of the Consciousness of the Presence of GOD is the
source of all supply, and it can and it will satisfy every good desire!'
Your desires are satisfied and they are bountifully supplied as you recognize GOD'S Actual Presence and realize HIS Birth in reality, in consciousness, and HIS Resurrection!
Therefore, I do not continue to say after the manner of men, 'Christmas Greetings to you!' I have extended MYSELF as MY life, to the children of men, as a Resurrected Savior, as well as the Birth of HIM, so that you might have Christmas now, henceforth and forever; and your presents and blessings, as Christmas, will cease no never, for you will be living in GOD'S Actual Presence with such a recognition! Then it will be no more just limited seasons' greetings.
MAY I WILL that the universe arise into the recognition of GOD'S Presence and recognize this great Christmas Gift to humanity, and may they recognize the Christmas as a standard of expression, not merely as a memorial of the Birth of JESUS as a person but as a principle that has been birthed into being; and the children of men shall have universally imbibed the Spirit of HIM and live in the Presence of GOD once and forever, with good health, good will and a good appetite, having your Christmas holidays all in one, now, henceforth and forever, and your happy New Year and your Easter Service.
Patriotically and politically equivalently may I say, your Declaration of Independence to be united to these two great events and incidents, and recognize your Declaration of Independence within you, and you as real American citizens learn to express your citizenry not merely documentally, to be patriotic, but express your citizenry by living your Constitution and living your Bill of Rights and by being the personification of our Declaration of Independence, and be the living reality of it now, henceforth and forever!
When this is done it will not merely be a saying; it will not merely be a customary system of proclaiming your Declaration of Independence, but you yourselves, individually, severally and collectively, will express your Independence universally, and your posterity will live in this Recognition; for we will be an Independent Nation and an Independent Civilization, where it will be no longer necessary to make such a declaration! You have made it in the Actuated Words of Expression, having imbibed it and brought it to fruition and having become to be the personification of all of these legal and religious Holidays until you are the personification of the most perfect state of being and of expression, because you have imbibed the Spirit and the Meaning of both it and them and brought them to fruition, and have become to be the personification of them, in other words, the person or persons of them! I thank you!
