FATHER DIVINE
After giving a very dynamic Message at the Holy Communion Table earlier in the evening, our Blessed LORD and SAVIOR dismissed the Table and returned to HIS Office to continue HIS never ending Work until the twilight of evening would melt into another gladsome day. However, the Spirit and the Vibrations were so high because of the glorious Words of Spirit and Life Uttered by our CREATOR downstairs in the private dining room, that the OMNISCIENT WISDOM of GOD flowed forth freely, and new and deep mysteries did HE condescend to bless those present to imbibe as they partook of this Holy Communion of spiritual food that only GOD ALMIGHTY can give.
FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL BLESSNG, DEAR LORD, WE TRULY THANK THEE!
The foregoing statements are those of the transcriber, after which FATHER speaks firstly as follows:
You know the Message has gone forth so profoundly, they are obliged to notice it; and when MY Message goes forth free, irrespective to the body, MY Spirit is just marvelous, and it accomplishes that whereto I have sent it! And you need not worry to think, 'Well I am so afraid HE will be stopped and the Truth will not go on.' You don't have to care about yourself. As I have often said, forget all about you have a body to live in! Forget about the body. You have often heard ME say that when 1 preach in one, because I do preach!
Secretary: When you think about the body you are dwelling in, there is no happiness.
FATHER: Body or any other selfish, mortal, human claim, it brings limitation, misery, disappointment and failure, for it was not ordained that you should be selfish. It was preordained that you should be the expressers of the Nature of GOD, and when you fail to ex- press according to the Plan and the Purpose for which you were created, you fail, and you do not accomplish that which you could and would accomplish if you could and would be unselfish. So that is the thought of it.
The more you eradicate, dispel and eliminate, or eliminate whichever, and dispel SELF, the more expressive will be that which you desire to express. And yet through a denial of SELF, the reaction of such a SELF DENIAL and CONSECRATION will bring into display and into expression that which you desire to express selfishly; but if you stay DETACHED from it mortal mindedly and personally, the Blessing is great to observe. Hence, you accomplish that which you would ordinarily seek, and you come into possession of that which you would ordinarily desire to possess by denying it; for
'He that seeks to save his life shall lose it, but he that loses his life for MY sake shall preserve it!'
Hence, in that way you lose it and lose contact with it and lose all claim on
it and refuse to be bothered with it or about it, and the Spirit automatically
helps you and lifts you!
Another Secretary: That's what P-- and I were talking about at the Table. We said we hoped not any of us would have to lose our place in heaven because of selfishness.
FATHER: He that seeks to save his life shall lose it, but he that will lose his life for Righteousness' sake--for MY Life-- shall preserve it. That is the mystery!
Another Secretary: But FATHER, that is a wonderful state of consciousness that YOU speak of! Every once in a while I seem to catch a glimpse of it, and when you find yourself completely detached from this world, in that instant, it is such a glorious feeling!
FATHER: One writer, Paul I think, puts it:
'It is better to be free from the body and be present with the LORD than to be attached to the body and be with the world!'
or words to that effect. That is the thought that was conveyed. So you detach
yourself mentally--the mental concept concerning yourself should be a detached
concept and not an attached concept, and you would be free from the body by so
doing--in other words uncoupled, like you uncouple a car on a railroad.
Trains or coaches and cars are uncoupled automatically in these late years. Years before you had to go around and uncouple them by hand, by making the direct connection with the uncoupling lever; but this way it can be automatically uncoupled. So if you can be uncoupled from your body mentally and spiritually, which is to say, be detached completely in your concept, the reaction of such a concept of being detached or uncoupled, and being completely severed in consciousness or consideration, the results will be that you will get that which you would ordinarily be seeking! By self-experience I AM demonstrating it--what so many mortal minds would seek--you see, I have every imaginative or imaginable expression of life that they would seek; but yet, you see, I detach MYSELF from every expression of those claims and revel into the glorious Liberty of GOD, of whom you say I AM, and by so doing those things that would be sought automatically by men, automatically I have them by detaching MYSELF from them! And as with things, so with thoughts; and as with thoughts, so with things, for thoughts are things.
Every mortal versionated concept of the things that life demands and of the things that mortality seeks and enjoys, all of those things are at MY Disposal by DETACHING MYSELF from them and DRAWING them automatically by the SPIRIT WITHIN, and by the LIFE SUBSTANCE of such an expression they come automatically without being attached to them and without being brought by coercion.
A Sample and an Example I AM for the children of men in this that I have demonstrated! Even according to the illustration, I AM illustrating the mystery of what I AM doing, and I in the illustration, AM demonstrating what I AM doing not only from a material or Personal point of view, but mentally; and when I demonstrate it explicitly you are obliged to see it. Hence, you say, 'I see it!' You understand it.
The thought came from somewhere,
'Where is wisdom and where is the hiding place of THY Understanding, O GOD? For THOU art Omniscient and THOU art alone Infinite in Wisdom and Understanding; therefore, THOU Art the only ONE can tell the mystery and reveal the secrets, for the hiding place of THY Wisdom cannot be found! Selah! The Spirit of THY Presence is the only inspiration that can reach the hiding places of THY Wisdom, O GOD!'
Ah! When your cup runs over, it is wonderful, isn't it? ('Yes, MY LORD!' exclaimed the adoring group.) What is the mystery and the interpretation of 'wonderful'? There is a mystery in it; yet it is explicit for it is explanatory in itself. It is wonderful; it is explanatory in itself; it is 'full'! I say it is explicit; it is explanatory in itself, for truly it is 'ONE' and 'FULL'! I heard one say, when your cup runneth over with Joy, filled to overflow, I heard one say, 'It is WONdERFuL!
And with this deep mystery still burning the hearts and minds of those present with the Holy Spirit of GOD'S Omniscience, our Majestic Savior strode out of the office, leaving a very blessed and happy group behind.
