O ye nations of the earth, cease for a moment your terrible onslaught and mad race for world power and greedy gain! Stop right still and take heed to the commanding voice of your Lord and Savior, FATHER DIVINE, as HE points the sure way to peace, righteous Victory over the common enemy, and good will towards all through unity, true Brotherhood and the Fatherhood of GOD on earth among men!
This glorious Message given at this most crucial hour, serves as a life line to true Americanism and the preservation of democracy. Take cognizance of the timely warning of our LORD to turn from the practice of localization, segregation and Discrimination and set about to practice coalition through unification. Enact the BILL of RIGHTS, one and all, for that is the key to united effort and total victory!

FATHER Speaks as follows:
PEACE, EVERYONE: I would just like to say to our visiting friends, they may not understand a good many of our patriotic songs, but by inspiration according to the religious, political and national conversion of these, MY 'Rosebuds' and others, these inspirations came to them as a conscious conviction of the ones who received them.
We realize we have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD, and that little composition in keeping with the request or desire of Abraham Lincoln, I have paved out the way for the New Birth of Freedom!
Abraham Lincoln could not and did not, in other words, did not and could not give this whole nation the New Birth of Freedom of which he was speaking; but I came to give this whole nation a New Birth of Freedom under GOD! This Freedom Abraham Lincoln gave them was an external freedom for the enslaved people, which was but a slight sketch, as it may be termed, of the whole nation; but he spoke of another birth, and that birth was this of which we are now experiencing--the New Birth of Freedom under GOD, a Birth of Freedom such as man could not give them; free from conventionality, free from the mortal version, free from races, creeds and colors and divisions among the nation; free from all selfishness, all graft and all greed, free from all of those detestable tendencies prenataled within them--a New Birth of Freedom from the within such as Abraham Lincoln could not give them! Therefore, by inspiration through the conscious conviction of the children this little composition came forth into expression according to MY Teaching of this New Birth of Freedom that I have given them that Abraham Lincoln could not give them.
Now is not this a beautiful portrait of an expression of an economic freedom? Free from lacks and wants and limitations, free from graft and greed, free from racketeering, free from trying to profiteer, free from the fear of economic panics, but proving our mastery over the economic situation even in and at the time of the panics and the depressions!
Those who have been with ME for many years, they realize, through every opposition and at the time of the panics, and the depressions, the Followers of MINE at MY Holy Banquet Table, they lived in splendor, the same as they do here and now and everywhere where I AM Personally!
So it is a privilege to live in such a Recognition and to have this New Birth of Freedom; not only for ourselves but for all of the people.
When graft and greed is instituted in business, profession, labor or trade, it brings about limitations and depressions, hardships and trials and tribulations such as the Spirit of Honesty, of Competence and of Truth do not bring them. For this cause we rejoice and I present to the world a Sample and an Example of the coming generation and of our future America; for the post-war days, they will take over from this unfoldment of brotherhood into the political world! Men will believe more in coalition and every other expression of unselfishness in the post-war days than what they have been; because they realize, selfishness, graft and greed brought about this great international struggle between man and man and nation and nation, as the wild beasts fight against each other, trying to destroy even the whole nation! But God still has a seed, and HE has an Economic Seed. HE has a Political Seed, HE has a National Seed of a Democracy where all people shall unite together in the future generation. For this cause, I say, 'We have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD!'
Why is it the composition came by inspiration to and through the 'Rosebuds' who com- posed it?
'Americanism is the way-shower to salvation,
We have a new birth of freedom under GOD.
This is a free and glorious nation,
We have a new Birth of Freedom under GOD!'
It was and it is because they have been convinced by the preaching of real Americanism
that our Constitution and our Bill of Rights gives us this New Birth of Freedom;
it gives us this New Birth of Freedom whereby they have a chance to serve GOD
according to the dictates of our own conscience; and by so doing, if you are
persistent in your ambition and determined in your resolve, if you transcend
the barriers of conventionality and all mortal versions, and get to that place
in consciousness where you do not care what others may think or say concerning
you, but follow the Spirit of GOD all the way through--if they call you a fanatic,
if they call you a radical, if they call you an ignoramus, if you are persistent
in your ambition and determined in your resolve, if you are True and Faithful
to your GOD and will be governed by your highest intuition and move only according
to your volunteer volition, You Will bring CHRIST within you to fruition that
will give you your real emancipation!
Paul spoke of this mystery of which I AM now speaking. He declared:
'The Law of the Spirit of Life in CHRIST JESUS,' said he, 'has made me free from the law of sin and death!'
That was one of the first-born among many brethren. I did not say Paul was the
first-born; JESUS was the First-born; but he was one of the first-born that had
been given this New Birth of Freedom of which we are now speaking. For the Law
of the Spirit of Life in CHRIST JESUS made him free from the law of sin and death.
Can you not see the mystery? That was the New Birth of Freedom of which Abraham
Lincoln was speaking, and I AM giving millions this new birth of freedom by the
recognition and the realization of Christ being within them; and by they letting
this mind be in them that was also in Christ Jesus, they also have this new birth
of freedom. And as they walk in the newness of life by this new birth of JESUS
the CHRIST, they too, as well as you, will also be free and FREE INDEED. For
JESUS said:
If ye continue in MY Words, ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free!'
Free from what? Free from undesirable conditions! That is what CHRIST came
through to set you free from; set you free from every barrier that binds; in
other words, from every tie that binds and from every barrier set up as an obstruction
in the way of success and prosperity! CHRIST came to free you from those conditions,
Beloved Ones, if you will but consider the Work and Mission of your LORD and
your SAVIOR!
If you continue in MY Words ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free!'
--set you free from every condition that binds, that is detrimental to your life
and your health; and everything that hinders, that tries to prevent you--CHRIST
your Savior will set you free!
Then I say, you have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD! I speak constitutionally and Evangelically, and by Constitutional Living and by Evangelical Living you have your real emancipation of which Abraham Lincoln was speaking; for your physical bodies as well as for your soul! Why should you live in the state of consciousness where you are tortured daily for fear of a livelihood for tomorrow? One declared, and I re-declare the same. He said:
'I once was young and now I am old; yet
have I not seen the Righteous forsaken
neither his seed begging bread!'
If you live in this Recognition and build upon this Foundation you will not have
an occasion to go out soliciting, neither will you be out begging for your bread!
What said the Scripture concerning the mystery?
'If thou shalt . . . do all His commandments, . . .
'Blessed shalt thou be
When thou comest in and . . . when thou goest out.
Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.
Blessed shall be. . . the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle . . .
The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses,
and in all that thou settest thine hand unto.'
So GOD shall bless you in reality; not only today but tomorrow will be equivalently
the same, Beloved Ones, and I AM not knocking on wood! I AM not superstitious
enough to knock on wood for fear it will not be true. I know I will have a-full
and a-plenty and to spare wheresoever I AM! And all who live soberly, righteously
and Godly, they will be even as I AM; in the Abundance of the Fullness of all
good things they will be protected physically, mentally and spiritually!
Take these thoughts to consideration and let the Spirit of MY supernatural Presence be your protection; for as with an individual so with a nation, and as with a nation so with all nations combined!

A mental, a spiritual, an economic freedom;
We have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD!
'For we have passed through the waters of mortal limitations,
We have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD.
We are traveling on to the inlet of an economic prosperity,
We have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD.
FATHER DIVINE (they declare) has established
This New Birth of Freedom;
We have a New Birth of Freedom under GOD!'
These thoughts are well worth considering. We actually have this new birth of
freedom, and all who will bring their bodies into subjection to the life and
the teaching of Jesus, to them this new birth of freedom and the blessings we
are actually enjoying, they are applicable, they are operative and they are expressive!
Take these thoughts to consideration, and if you live it and express it, you will find GOD and HIS Blessings are impersonal; they are international, they are interdenominational, they are not bound to even the group for which I stand, for they are GOD'S Blessings, of which by anyone they are absolutely impersonal and interracial; they are INFINITE now, henceforth and forever, for all who are found worthy to partake of them and come into possession of them! That is what I AM talking about!
But I desire to see our fellowmen and every living creature come into the possessions of which we are actually enjoying, for they are free for one and all, not only for the souls but for the bodies of the children of men. Aren't you glad! For I came to give you this New Birth of Freedom under GOD!
Abraham Lincoln's name was a man's name, was it not? ('Yes, FATHER Dear,' exclaimed the masses.) I came to give humanity a New birth of freedom in the name of which I AM! I came to free you from economic slavery; I came to free you from division and strife; I came to free you from the oppression of the oppressors; I came to free you, to give you a chance for expression mentally and spiritually where you have been suppressed and have been prohibited your privilege of free speech! I came to give you your economic freedom and your social freedom; I came to give you your political freedom, for all shall eventually be as free as I am, from every barrier and from every limitation, and have the mastery over circumstances and conditions, for GOD is your real emancipation !
Your freedom--I came to give it! As I said many years ago, 'just as I have it on my immediate staff it shall be from shore to shore and from land to land! There shall be no division among the children of men. All shall be as one man at Jerusalem!'
We know nothing about races, creeds and colors among us. We do not use that cursed prejudicial and malicious vulgar name by which we are called, for it is a curse to the children of men. It has been used for ages for the purpose of low-ration; in other words, in the act of low-rating some and elevating some others. That is why they call ME what they call ME and what they call you, those of you who are a darker complexion than some of the lighter complexion; but I came to bring an abolition to every such trait of the enemy to rob you out of your houses and homes; to rob you out of the privilege to live; to rob you out of an access to ride in a decent, respectable car on the railway!
If it was not for that prejudicial and lowrated term by which you are called, you would not have been robbed out of millions and millions of dollars and billions and billions of dollars' worth of comfort and convenience such as others have been privileged to enjoy!
We shall have a Righteous Government, and as the little composition declared there, 'FATHER is going to have it like this all over the world, if it cost a million dollars and a million bodies a day!'
I recall them saying in 1928 when they were stumping and speaking for Hoover and others, I said, 'It is immaterial to ME who will fill the chief executive's office, but we shall eventually have a righteous government under the constitution and its amendments and according to the declaration of independence if it costs a million dollars and a million bodies a day!' now you can read according to the statistics of the cost of our present government, the cost to the present government to carry on the war: one hundred and eighty-four million and four hundred thousand dollars a day to carry on this war! One hundred and eighty-four million and four hundred thousand dollars a day to carry on this war! More than seventeen hundred and some odd dollars per second to prosecute the war against the enemy!
We are fighting for a Righteous Government, and in this great struggle, men of authority and the chief executive himself, have called for the unity of aim and of purpose; called for us to bring an end to localization, to segregation and discrimination among this nation so that we might overcome the common enemy who is endeavoring to enslave us all. But MY aim and purpose have not changed from that for which I came, with a determination to carry out MY plan and purpose to the letter, although I did not desire to see the nations of the earth slaughtered as sheep and as other cattle are slaughtered in the slaughter houses, to bring about this for which we have prayed, as it may be termed; this for which you have long sought!
You have sought equality; you have sought to have the bill of rights enacted under this democracy. It had not been enacted under this democracy. This war is helping to bring about the enactment of the bill of rights in this democracy. It was recognized in some of our states in recent years only, but the enactment had not been enacted in any of our states in the union effectively. But now they are demanding the enactment of the bill of rights according to the declaration of independence, that they might realize,
'Of one blood god created (or formed) all nations to dwell upon the face of the whole earth!'
and we must come back into this recognition and live according to the teaching
of the Bible and recognize GOD ALMIGHTY!
Hitler says, 'Divide and conquer!' but I say, Unite! Unite! Unite! and you will bring an end to Hitlerism--that propaganda and the spirit of it that was for the purpose of dividing the people, to conquer them and bring them into subjection to him! Can you not see the mystery?
'Divide and conquer,' he says. He knows if he can get you divided against each other in any organization, among any nation--get you fighting against each other--why, he knows he can conquer you just as he conquered FRANCE! But oh, how glorious it is to realize I have the key! I have solved the problem for millions of Mine, and millions of others are coming on; where we all will be emancipated from every barrier and from every limitation and shall live in peaceful and quiet resting places without the ban of localization in any of our communities throughout this country! I thank you!
