FATHER DIVINE

Our FATHER has accomplished the Mission for which HE came,
And HE shall reign, yes, HE shall reign on this earth plane; It's HIS Domain.
Our FATHER has accomplished the Mission for which HE came, and naught shall slightly hinder HIM!
The kingdoms of this world, yes, they are rising and waning, but the Kingdom of our GOD now and forever is remaining.
The 'other place' may rage and vent its spite, but GOD, FATHER DIVINE, has saved HIS Heart's Delight;
It is the Mission for which HE came.
FATHER Speaks as follows:
PEACE, EVERYONE: That little composition is the conscious conviction of the Rosebuds and millions of others, but it has been verified by what you heard tonight; I have accomplished the Mission for which I came. It is immaterial to ME what men may think or say, I have long since declared and I re-declare the same, we shall have it just as I have it on MY immediate Staff and under MY Personal Jurisdiction from shore to shore and from land to land. Aren't you glad! This great Contagion is actually contagionizing the universe.
For this cause we rejoice at what Father Ford said, knowing that the selfsame with or without a body is operative, and in each and every Just and Righteous thinking person, they all are thinking along the same line we are thinking. As I said many years ago, we shall have it from shore to shore and from land to land just as I have it on MY immediate Staff and it is rejoice-able and it is lovely to see and know others are contagionized with it. That is the reason you see ME salute Father Ford as I do not a good many ministers, because he is a teacher of Truth and proves it (Can you not see the mystery?) and is endeavoring to live it and cause others to get it; therefore, as the last speaker said, it is verified, fulfilled and shall be demonstrated universally!
Just as it is here so shall it be there; I mean, here there and everywhere; but you did not hear so much of such as we hear nowadays, did you, until I came? ('No, FATHER Dear, affirmed the masses.') But as a Living Sacrifice I stand for the cause for which I came, and we shall accomplish it with or without a bodily form, but I have accomplished that for which I came in a great measure among those who have received the Truth and are living thus accordingly.
For this cause we rejoice and we salute you, all who are standing for Righteousness, Truth and Justice; for
'Righteousness will exalt the nation but sin is a reproach to any people!'
I recall of a very recent date, a gentleman from downtown, a businessman, sending
ME a card and sent ME word he congratulated ME for MY followers' buying the Brigantine,
because he or some one of his comrades had purchased the property paid a deposit
on it some time ago out they would not allow him to have it because he was a
Jew!
I often think of what has been said, how do the people of America expect to overcome the common enemy on the outside of these borders if we do not overcome him within? Hitlerism has run rampant through this land and country, but oh, how glorious it is to see the Spirit of GOD is actually bringing the nations together.
Even though it may cause we may have to go through many hardships even as the extreme emergency today it in itself has caused the people to know they must unite together. But the Kingdom of GOD, that Kingdom within where GOD alone reigns as Lord of lords and as King of kings, shall ever prevail.
For this cause we rejoice and we salute you who will take a stand for real Americanism; in short, for real Religion, real Christianity. Oh, how glorious it is to realize, as we live our American Constitution and our Bill of Rights and put both it and them into practice we become to be real American Citizens, but not until, according to MY Conscientious Conviction. For this cause, I say, I salute the groups of whom those of whom Father Ford mentioned, who are taking a stand to bring about Righteousness in government, in business and in trade; for unless Righteousness exists in this country and under this democracy we are obliged to fail; for what said the Psalmic prediction of David concerning the mystery of this of which I AM now speaking?
'Righteousness and Judgment are the habitation of HIS Throne!'
Christ cannot rule on the throne of the minds of men unless they are Righteous
and Just within. If they are converted from unrighteousness, from debauchery,
from incompetence and untruth, why, the Christ from wheresoever HE may be, will
truly descend and rule and reign on the throne of their minds.
I have declared, 'Wheresoever a king reigns there is where his kingdom is.' We all have prayed to GOD to let the Kingdom come. I use the word, we all I mean, all of the people especially those of the Christian religion have prayed sincerely to let GOD's Kingdom come and let HIS Will be done on earth as it is in heaven. It is evidently known it is not coming down from above all of the other planets and stars geographically observable, for it is written,
'The Kingdom of GOD cometh not with observation.'
You cannot observe it when it is coming, but as GOD's Kingdom is a Kingdom of
Peace, of Righteousness, of Truth and of Justice, when you as the American people
and others will execute Righteousness, Truth and Justice and Equity in all of
your dealings, there is where the Christ will truly descend and rule and reign
on the throne of your minds.
I have often said,
'Wheresoever a king reigns there is where his kingdom is.'
Hence, it is a privilege beyond a reasonable doubt to have the King of kings
and Lord of lords as a Principle to rule and reign on the throne of your minds
and have full control over you. Hence, over this audience you observe a peaceful
audience, do you not? (Yes, FATHER Dear,' assented thousands.) You never have
seen thousands and thousands gather together so peacefully saving where I preside,
have you? Especially when they are assembled in divers audiences patriotically
in mass meetings, where they are not bound to tradition but bound to the Spirit
of GOD's Actual Presence, where all things are brought into subjection to HIM.
This is where all things are brought into subjection to this Fundamental, Whom you say I AM. ('GOD!' shouted thousands of voices.) Hence, as you heard the last speaker say, this did not appear effectively until I came Personally; nevertheless, it is not confined nor bound to personality, not even to an individual or individuals, but to a Principle that transcends all personality and all individuality. But when you harmonize with this Principle you find you are a part of the Principle, for 'a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.'
For this cause I rejoice, as you all can see, in the Spirit of the Presence of GOD in the person of Father Ford, and recognize his presence in his own mission and calling as a part of ME, and a part of MINE. Can you not see the mystery? That is the reason you can see they are coming up on every side, contending for that for which I sacrificed MY Life. Aren't you glad! And all shall eventually observe the mystery and all will enjoy the actual comfort and convenience that GOD preordained for all of the people. Aren't you glad!
For this cause we are rejoicing and we are exceedingly glad. Whensoever we find some or even one who will take a stand for Righteousness irrespective to races, creeds and colors, by taking a stand for Righteousness, why, we heartily endorse them and respect them in the highest order of things, because it is the identical transmission of the Spirit of GOD to the children of men to pave out the way for all of them. It is contagious, it is impersonal and it is interracial, it is interdenominational, therefore it must go on and accomplish that for which I came with or without a Bodily Form, the song says, for it is written:
'HE shall not be discouraged until HE shall have accomplished that for which HE came.'
Then I say, it is a privilege. Just look over the masses as they sit and stand
in these audiences where I AM! Yet I have another great Communion Service to
minister. They are gathered there now but these do not wish to leave here until
I leave Personally. If I can lead you in the way of Righteousness, in the way
of Honesty, in the way of Integrity, in the way of Truth, forbid ME not; yes,
forbid it not, for the Spirit of GOD's Presence will accomplish HIS Endeavors
with or without opposition. Naught can hinder Him. Everything that rises in opposition
will merely help HIM.
I often think of how there are those who have been under-privileged, mistreated and downtrodden because of race, creed and color and as Father Ford said, others brought such upon them. Nevertheless over and above all of that I have declared,
'Be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good.'
Under 'Righteousness Marches On!' you can see letters from the world of business,
profession, labor and trade; from government and from other institutions, telling
you what MY followers are doing in righting their wrongs, even though it was
forced upon them. Because it was forced upon a good many of you, it does not
mean to say you should be dishonest and incompetent, untrue and unjust between
yourself and your fellowmen, but to the extreme reverse, overcome evil with good.
Therefore, MY followers are even repaying or, in other words, paying to the relief rolls the money they received when they were in need by the divers administrations of government inflicting such conditions upon them and causing them to be in lacks and wants and limitations; yet the Spirit of MY Presence is lifting them above reproach and adjusting matters satisfactorily and proving the Spirit of Honesty, of Competence and Truth is the Master of Omnipotency and the Controller of their destiny. Aren't you glad! Therefore, Righteousness does exalt the nation and it gives them the Victory over all undesirable conditions. It establishes their going in the Land of the Living and proves that GOD in them and with them, masters all circumstances and conditions and none can hinder HIM.
We shall have it just as I have it here over all the universe; that is if civilization stands! Your civilization is threatened and it only takes GOD in man and superior to man, to overcome the threats that have been made against our civilization.
Prejudice and bigotry and segregation, these are the detestable characteristics that have threatened our civilization and have caused millions and millions of lives to be destroyed and, as it may be termed, rivers of blood to be shed. But GOD is here now. We shall have a Righteous Government. We shall have a Righteous Government according to the great political, national documents of our democracy and according to the two great religious documents of our religious conviction, the Old and the New Testaments. We cannot be defeated on these two great documents politically endorsed and backed by the two great religious documents.
Then I say, it is a privilege to live in this Recognition, to observe what GOD is actually doing among this people. I said some twelve years ago right here in this city before a good many of you knew ME so definitely, I said, 'I shall contagionize the atmosphere with MY Version, with MY Ideas and with MY Opinions and all shall be impregnated with it, and MY Ideas and MY Opinions shall super-rule the nation!'
Oh, how glorious it is to live in this Recognition! Now there may be a question as to MY Ideas and Opinions. It is written,
'Let this Mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.'
It is your privilege, each of you, to imbibe the Mind of Christ Jesus, His Spirit
and His Nature and His Characteristics and reproduce them in your experience
and be the reincarnation of His Life and of His Teachings.
It cannot be denied. MY Critics, MY Opponents and those who are called MY Enemies, they know this is the reincarnation of Righteousness, of Honesty, of Competence and of Truth according to the Teaching of the Gospel of Christ. They know it is! When there is Something can get in you without coercion and impel you to live Soberly, Righteously and Godly, you know and others know too, it takes nothing less than GOD, or less than Christ and nothing more than GOD, to do it. You cannot do it otherwise.
Change your nature, change your characteristics, change your disposition and cause you to be New Creatures characteristically and dispositionally; cause your minds to be new renewed by the renewing of your mind, when you did have minds of vice, of crime, of debauchery and sin of every kind. When your minds are purged from even a desire to smoke a cigarette, why, you know it is nothing less than Christ that has taken hold of your mind to transform you by the renewing of your minds!
Where a good many of you were gamblers, murderers, cut-throats and every other debaucherated, ill famed person, you are changed to Virtue, Holiness and express in words, deeds and nature the Virginity of Mary and the Holiness of Jesus! You know it takes nothing but GOD to do it! Aren't you glad!
To our visiting friends I further wish to say, at least a great percentage of the masses who are under the sound of MY Voice tonight were men and women of crime, of debauchery, dishonesty, falsity and obscenity and blasphemy everything that was unjust and ungodly. But since that time the Supernatural Power of the Almighty has cleansed their minds, their hearts, their bodies and their nature and disposition and caused them to be New Creatures in reality and not just imaginarily!
Oh, how glorious it will be when we have a world just like this! You know you would rather have a government for the people and by the people and through the people that would be Honest, be Pure and would be True; a government that would supply Life, Love and Liberty for you, Comfort and Convenience such as you observe in these audiences; Happiness, as one of the speakers said, in and at the time of war and bloodshed, as it may be termed not the exact words or language she used but the point of view is just the same. At the time of all of these crises just think of Joy and Peace and Happiness because you are living Soberly, Righteously and Godly; because you have cast out of your system by casting out of your consciousness and out of your mentality and out of your disposition all of those detestable characteristics and tendencies that were handed down hereditively or traditionally within you. Then you are not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. You can say with Saint Paul,
'I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the Power of GOD, the power of GOD unto salvation to everyone that believeth,'
because it emancipates you from all dishonesty, from all incompetence, from all
untruth and it reproduces or reincarnates in you the Virginity of Mary and the
Holiness of Jesus!
When this is fulfilled and when the Spirit in you and with you can keep you, you know it transcends all human imagination!
I need not say more but I rejoice, as I afore said, to see the Work going on; to know it is not confined to ME as a Person as GOD is Impersonal by Nature and is international, interracial and interdenominational. GOD can and will work through all of HIS People; therefore, I join heart and hands with all of those who are standing for real Godliness, with all of those who oppose ungodliness and worldly lusts, passion and sin and vice and crime, all of those who oppose such and establish Righteousness in the actuated words of expression; I AM with you now, henceforth and forever and you need not fret nor worry for GOD in one man is as the majority!
Take these thoughts to consideration. Now we do not wish to bore you. I know I somewhat lost MY what little head I have; I don't have very much anyway. It is what may be termed as Mine and I AM glad I can lose it now and again so that GOD might speak from HIS Own Throne! The Throne of HIS Mind within.
Take these thoughts to consideration and let us continue to recognize the actual Presence of GOD. Live it and express it. I need not tell you to do it; you are contagionized with it, you are affected by it and you cannot help it! I do not tell MY followers, 'Thou shalt not drink liquor!' I do not tell them, 'Thou shalt not smoke!' I do not tell them. 'Thou shalt not do other sins of the flesh and other vices and crimes men commit;' but I have long since declared by composition as a motto for the consideration of the people,
'I will preach Christ in Words but more so in Deeds and in Action, and I will put MY Spirit in the people and cause them to walk in MY Statutes!'

Take these thoughts to consideration and whatsoever you find as a rule under 'Righteousness Marches On!' where those of MY followers have paid old back bills these are just a few we can get in THE NEW DAY each week. It goes to show you what Christ can do for men; can cleanse them from all of their Adamic state of consciousness and from all of the Adamic nature, characteristics and disposition and cause them to be New Creatures by the renewing of their minds! This is what GOD has done for millions and what GOD is still doing! Aren't you glad!
It is a privilege and it is a blessing and it is pleasant to hear of the different ones through whom Christ came and is coming forth into expression in the act of carrying out HIS Plan and Purpose to the letter. GOD uses HIS Temples.
'Know ye not that your bodies are the Temples of the Living God? God has said, I will walk in them and dwell in them.'
Hence, GOD is walking and dwelling in those who will let Him and will bring themselves
into subjection. Hence, there is where you can see GOD working, moving, living
and expressing according to HIS Plan and Purpose, and all will eventually recognize
the Presence of a Supernatural Power working in the hearts and lives of the children
of men, even though they may look as though they are men.
As I said of a very recent date no doubt you will find it if it is not in this week's issue of THE NEW DAY, no doubt you will find it where I said when the President by proclamation makes a demand on the people, or words to that effect, because he says it through the radio, it does not say you should not obey. The radio is the present modern invention through which all government is speaking.
GOD uses the radio and the radio broadcasting system and I AM telling you the mystery in the parable concerning the radio receiving set. You may have it in your home. You say, 'That is President Roosevelt speaking. He said you must do that.' You had better do what he said to do, even though he told you to do it over the radio! Can you not see the mystery?
Now GOD is speaking through the Insignificant, a little more than a radio. If you better do what the Chief Executive says through or over the radio, how about when GOD Speaks out of HIS Temple? The radio broadcasting system is a sketch and a reflection of a percent of a fraction of a percent of a fraction of a grain of the mystery of GOD transmitted to this people and transmitting HIS Message as HE conveys it!
'Know ye not that your bodies are the temples of the living God and God has said, I will walk in them and dwell in them?'
What will ye that it is, or it is a fact that GOD speaks in HIS Temples, even
if you take it for that or from that point of view? GOD speaks in His temples
even if you did not wish to say that radio is President Roosevelt speaking in
your home. You hear his voice, you hear his command you had better obey! You
had better do what he says! Can you not see the mystery? So it is equivalently
the same if GOD speaks through HIS temples not confined even to one but of course
we do know it is good to have a good radio. You may get a radio that is no good
and you may not get the message; but get a good radio and you will get it!
Let us all try to be radio receiving sets at least, if not broadcasting systems. Let us allow GOD to speak within and speak without to the people! I thank you!
