FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE at
The Circle Mission Church, Bronx, N.Y.
FATHER DIVINE speaks as follows:
PEACE, EVERYONE: Here we all are again; there I sit and stand. It is a privilege to realize and not merely think it but to realize, here we all are! In the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose among you I AM; and this is not merely a salutation or an expression. It is not merely a motto for consideration, but it is real.
In listening to the Message of Songs and Praise, I beheld and rehearsed what I had said. Many years ago I brought out a little composition as a motto, yet for your consideration as a Message that was to be reckoned and realized as truth:
'I will preach CHRIST in Words but
more so in DEEDS and in ACTIONS,
and I will put MY SPIRIT in them and
cause them to walk in MY Statutes!'
I have preached CHRIST in Words so vividly you can plainly see ME in Deeds and
in Actions speaking in the people. I have transmitted MY Spirit, MY Mind, MY
Ideas and MY Opinions to the children of men, and I AM causing them to walk in
MY Statutes, and they love to do it!
I was just thinking of the beautiful unfoldment of MY Spirit and MY Mind MY Understanding, MY Love, MY Holiness and MY Virginity all being transmitted and reincarnated in the hearts and lives of millions, but especially the one hundred and forty and four thousand that I John saw on the Mount Zion those that had washed their robes and made them white in the Life of CHRIST and those who followed the LAMB whithersoever HE goeth. I see them coming from far and near, following in the footsteps, the pathway, as the trail.
I look around at the Rosebuds and behold MY SPIRIT speaking in ACTIONS and in DEEDS the reproduction and the personification of that of which I have spoken:
'I will put MY SPIRIT in the people and
cause them to walk in MY Statutes!'
I need not speak so much in Words since I have entered in and the door was shut
entered into millions and millions of hearts and lives; I AM causing them to
speak in MY Language and in MY Tongue in business, profession, labor and trade.
It is a privilege to realize, that of which we emphasize can and will be reincarnated and eventually materialized; for if you are REAL, and if you are a conscious thinking individual, your conscious thoughts can take form and can become to be materially manifested in your physical body.
For this cause we are rejoicing to see the great unfoldment of the mystery!
Another thought I thought to convey a little composition long since composed, but was reincarnated, reproduced and was made a Message for the children of men wheresoever the composition is sung since it is brought out in a song:
'Minds and Attention,
Love and Devotion,
Ideas and Opinions,
All concentrated on the FUNDAMENTAL!'
This little composition as a motto for the consideration firstly of those to
whom I spoke it, and thence to all to whom I sang it after I had composed it,
then to the world at large as it was recomposed, or transposed in a Message of
a song of praise:
'Minds and Attention,
Love and Devotion,
Ideas and Opinions . . .
and coming on from one unfoldment to the other you find the Spirit of MY Actual
Presence transmitted in others.
I heard you sing of a recent date a composition came forth by inspiration from the conscious conviction of some,
'Tell the Truth, tell the Truth, tell the
Truth,
And the Truth will set you free!
Stone prison walls and iron prison bars
cannot hold ME!'
That little composition was and still is well worth considering, but it is so
beautiful when it is transmitted and reincarnated, and you who are the reincarnators
become to be the fulfillers of the self-same composition!
Another thought for consideration of a most recent date: I spoke to the "Rosebuds" and said to them, "I will give you a song of Zion, as you are the Daughters of Zion, and you will sing a song of Zion unto the Congregation of the Righteous!" Aren't you glad! Now isn't that a beautiful song? (FATHER refers to the new inspiration the Rosebuds received, called "The Daughters of Zion," which they sang earlier in the evening.) It came from a "Rosebud's" heart! Aren't you glad! But first from the heart of god!
Then you can plainly see how I AM speaking when I AM apparently sleeping. Can you not see the mystery? When I cease to speak in Words where I AM Personally, at that time I AM speaking more expressively and more explicitly in others where I AM transmitted!
I transmit MYSELF to others, those who are worthy of ME. I reincarnate MYSELF in them. I speak PEACE to the children of men! I speak PEACE on earth and GOOD WILL to men, and bring PEACE out of confusion, and cause your happy moments to roll on!
The Songs of Praise as given from the Heart of GOD, transmitted by inspiration, as that is the occupation of the INSPIRATOR, to transmit and reincarnate that which is within HIM by aspiration through reincarnation by the way of transmission, transmitting the Message by concentration to the minds of those who are thinking on the FUNDAMENTAL and concentrating on the FUNDAMENTAL conscientiously and sincerely; the transmission of GOD'S PRESENCE will be transmitted and you will become to be the REINCARNATORS of it.
It causes you to feel very good, does it not? ("Yes, FATHER DEAR!" responded the enthusiastic audience.) It causes you to lose all contact with the earth apparently, for you are in harmony with the INFINITE; and of HIS PEACE and JOY and of HIS INCREASE, and all things that are of HIS Kingdom, there is no end! There is no end to them! For this cause we can rejoice and be exceedingly glad to see the great unfoldment of what I have been telling you! I know you all sit, listen and wait patiently, desiring to hear ME speak; but I say,
'He that receiveth Him that I send, receiveth ME;
and he that receiveth ME receiveth HIM that sent ME!'
'As much as you have done unto the
least one of these, MY Little Ones, you
did also unto ME!'
Take these thoughts to consideration. Build upon this Foundation of a more complete and a Perfect Union, of which the Foundation of the government was speaking. Aren't you glad! "To form a more Perfect UNION" this is it of which they are speaking. As I heard one say someone had said, the only way for the people to be in UNION is through CHRIST, or being a Christian.
This is a simple word, simple saying, but have you ever seen a more Perfect Union than those who believe in ME? This in itself is explanatory. It will tell you definitely the only way to unify together is to think on something in unison.
This is one point for consideration that is well worth considering. You are thinking in unison on one point and all can say the same thing; and that point will keep you in Unity so long as you think on that one point in Unison!
You know you can think in unison as well as you can walk or speak in unison. You can unite mentally and spiritually so effectively until it would be a matter of impossibility to be severed, because that Spirit and that Mind combined, harmonizing together, sympathetically, systematically and scientifically and working together accurately, it would cause you to move mentally and spiritually in UNISON, and the Unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose will hold you together if you believe it.
There are many things I could say along this line, but I believe I AM saying enough in Actions and in Deeds to convince you and all government, there is a reality in ME; for I AM speaking in Actions and in Deeds. I have given birth to Young America! Aren't you glad!
I say, I have given birth to young America! I have given birth to true Patriotism that does not merely represent violence in the act of war and bloodshed but it represents a preventative of all war and bloodshed! Aren't you glad!
I have heard that it has been said,
'One ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure";
but I will declare to you,
'One percent of a fraction of a grain of a percent of prevention is worth one hundred tons of cure!'
I have given birth to the prevention of all future wars! Now tell them I said
it! I have founded the government for the future upon their three great documents
as represented, and I have demonstrated it and I AM dramatizing it in the actuated
Words of Expression by the Youth Groups the Rosebuds and others; a foundation
of something no other person has known! Aren't you glad!
It means something to unite together! It means something to come together for one common purpose and one common idea! Just one common idea will do the work if you do it harmoniously, systematically, unselfishly and righteously!
I heard the Rosebuds say, "No Division and No Discrimination Just Unification!" Can you not see the mystery? There are those who could have perceived the idea of the mystery as I transmitted it but for the preconceived prejudices and preconceived mortal tendencies, fancies and pleasures. Those things stood as a preventative that prohibited those who could have received it and did not receive it, from receiving it. But when the Spirit came out with this little composition,
'No discrimination, no competition, no division, no strife!'
(Can you not see the mystery?) because of the Virginity of their minds and attentions,
it caused the Spirit to have free access within them to bring out the composition
according to MY Plan and Purpose, the same as if it was something by a pattern
I had cut, for I did cut it! Aren't you glad!
It is a privilege to live in such a recognition, to build upon such a Foundation as this one! And GOD HIMSELF in all simplicity has truly come, and those who can believe in Unison, and work in Unison, and live in Unison, without any discrimination, without any segregation, without any competition, without any strife, but LOVE and UNITY be practiced in their lives when this is done every undesirable condition will be dispelled once and forever! not only mentally and spiritually so you can go to heaven, but every adverse and undesirable condition you will overcome here and now where you are living!
This is not a supposition. As a Sample and as an Example I stand before the people to prove to you and all humanity conclusively, GOD is Victorious, a Conqueror over every opposition, over every trial and every tribulation, over all prosecution and persecution that have arisen; GOD is Victorious and GOD is the CREATOR, being OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT and OMNIPRESENT; therefore what can harm you? In other words, naught can harm you! more emphatically and positively spoken, naught can harm the FUNDAMENTAL, in Whom you Trust! I have declared,
'Every knock is a Boost and every criticism is a Praise!'
I can verify that of which had been spoken. They have tried investigating and
testing and trying ME on every hand, but with or without a Bodily Form, with
or without a person I stand! Aren't you Glad!
As Sure As Raindrops Fall, Those Who Are In Opposition Will Be Defeated.
Hence, I have arisen in the hearts and lives of millions! If they are True and
Faithful continually, with or without a person, I will be with them, and will
give them Victory over adverse and undesirable conditions, for the Mouth of GOD
is speaking!
When trials and tribulations and oppositions from every angle arise, there and then you should be more substantiated, more unshaken in confidence in the INFINITE, and realize there and then something is in evidence that is worth considering because of the oppositions; although it is true, if you are unjust, if you are untrue, if you are false and a cheat, and try to accomplish by deceit and fraudery, it is evidently known you cannot stand! and especially when you rise in opposition even in illustration or consideration to the FOUNT of your SALVATION the REDEMPTION of all mankind!
As I said of a very recent date, if a good many of MY Followers, even those who are with ME, and some who have been with ME just ten, twelve or fifteen years, could only trace their minds back to about fifty years and observe what has risen in opposition from time to time; how the oppositions and trials and tribulations and every accuser and abuser, they all have gone down in defeat! Some may not go down physically immediately, but at times you are more defeated when you do not go down physically immediately!
I said on one occasion in the Body called Jesus,
'They shall not taste of death until they see the Son of GOD coming in great Glory!'
There are some who have arisen in opposition in the act of criticism and ridiculing
and even in the act of persecution, in the name of prosecution. I have declared
some of them shall not see death until they see ME in MY GLORY! But as sure as
the sun shines and raindrops fall to the earth, even so sure are those who are
in opposition and are criticizing to be defeated, for the Mouth of GOD has declared
it! Aren't you Glad!
I have had some of MY Followers to say, "FATHER, but seems like the Judgment of GOD is so long, and it seems like if I was GOD I would let it be right now!" GOD went in the Garden in the cool of the evening and not in the heat of the day! Aren't you glad! If GOD would do things for the appeasing of the people, HE would establish your anger, your resentment and your revenge if HE would do the thing while you are hot, when you are very angry, I mean; but in the COOL of the day GOD went in the Garden!
HE first allowed Eve and Adam to get away, go away some place and hide; but in the hiding places they could not abide because I called them from the hiding places and they came forth ashamed! Aren't you glad! Because I had pulled the cover off of them!
So it is today and will be with a good many of the crooked politicians and other legal representatives! I will say, "Be you assured JUDGMENT IS SURE!" But if GOD would do everything you wanted done, HE would merely stamp your anger and resentment within you and cause you to become to be the personification of resentment and anger instead of LOVE and KINDNESS.
But oh, how glorious it is to realize GOD deals in the affairs of men and none can hinder HIM! None can slightly retard MY ADVANCES! As I was telling a party today, since I have been on the Isle of Manhattan stationary and did not leave the Isle of Manhattan for nearly six months, I have organized and set apart FIVE CHURCHES! I have something else up MY Sleeve but you cannot see it now! A few more settings and risings of the sun and something will be revealed you have not known! Aren't you glad! FOR NAUGHT CAN HINDER ME!
All of MY Work is advance-able and it is advancing! Blessings are increasing and multiplying by leaps and bounds, and I AM still being daily reincarnated and reproduced and repersonified in the hearts and lives of the children of men.
There is where you will see ME at all times if they will abide in MY SPIRIT and MY MIND and stay free from all of those detestable tendencies of jealousy, of graft, of greed and of strife, and will not let competition, segregation and discrimination come in; for in those things you will find strife and confusion, and where there is strife and confusion, destruction follows such tendencies, for they are the expression of mortality's version, and all mortals are subject to death!
Just think of living in the ACTUAL PRESENCE of GOD, where GOD is your REFUGE, your STRENGTH, and your HELP in the time of need! Of course, as I thought to say, if something did not happen at times in your day, you, no doubt, would doubt ME! Because of men rising in opposition in the act of criticism, accusation and condemnation and yet seemingly flying high, you would be somewhat inclined to believe wickedness would be justifiable; but not so!
Crime does not pay those of you of the criminal world, or who have been connected therewith. To those of you who may not call yourselves crime committers, I say, disobedience and simple violations of the Law of GOD and of man do not pay to commit those small offenses! You may think you will get by; you may think others will get by; but one day is as a thousand years with GOD and a thousand years as one day!
Is there anywhere the wicked can hide? ("No, FATHER!" replied the masses.) When you continue to do that which is unjust and you know it is unjust, false and untrue, GOD will not continue to hide you! But most especially, when you take the Name of the LORD your GOD in vain it is written,
'. . . HE will not hold him guiltless who
taketh MY Name in vain!'
The Name of GOD can be taken justifiably if it is taken Unselfishly, Righteously
and GODLY. If you take the Name of JESUS with you, it will in Joy and Comfort
keep you, if you take it Unselfishly, Righteously and GODLY! If perchance you
happen to be one who has come through JESUS to ME, the FATHER, you can say to
each other,
'Take the Name of FATHER with you,
Child of Joy, Life, Health and Love;
It will in Joy and Comfort keep you,
If you take it wheresoever you go!'
But you must take the NAME RIGHTEOUSLY, GODLY and SOBERLY and live thus accordingly,
and the Spirit of your FATHER will endorse you in taking HIS NAME with you whithersoever
you go; and the Spirit of JOY and HAPPINESS and PRAISE will be upon you, and
you as individuals will speak in psalms and in hymns and in spiritual songs!
You will sing and make melody in your hearts to GOD, for you will be as these are here and now rejoicing in the LORD always, and again I say, REJOICE! You will let your moderation be made known to all mankind wheresoever you go, and wheresoever I AM, the LORD is at hand! I thank you!
