As GOD, FATHER DIVINE, hears the cries of the millions as they are pouring forth their hearts to HIM in these most crucial times, HE sounds HIS clarion call once again to the White House, Washington, D.C., in the form of a Telegram to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and the Joint Session of Congress, the House of Representatives and the Senate, as a proposal to purchase All of the Allies' holdings in and on the Western Hemisphere, including Canada, as Immediate First Aid Defense.
If this Telegram is heeded, this Western Hemisphere will be safe from invasion, but if not, we may expect anything to follow.

I propose the purchase of all of the Allies' holdings in and on the Western Hemisphere immediately, since they have not united the three Americas. If the Allies are in desperate need of money, purchase all of their holdings in and on the Western Hemisphere and keep the Nazis away, before they take the Dutch East Indies. Let these United States of America purchase all of the Allies' holdings in and on the Western Hemisphere, including Canada, and the merchandise included to pay for the holdings; then the Nazis will not have any occasion to cross these borders to the Western Hemisphere to interfere nor involve us in a world war according to the Monroe Doctrine; for that is what it would be and that is what it would do, as they say.
You see, they say now, "Hands off!" They say the Fascists, Mussolini and Nazi Germany must keep their hands off the holdings in the Western Hemisphere. Well now, let them keep their hands off by the United States purchasing these countries and then the Nazis will not have any legal right to come over here, because they (the Allies) will have sold their holdings; they will have sold out. So that is what they should do, since they have not united the three Americas. They should immediately purchase all of the foreign holdings on this Western Hemisphere, and bring it under the jurisdiction of this democracy even if they have not as yet united together where they will save the people, and millions of bodies and billions and billions of dollars as a sacrifice destructively.
Why spend your money and the finances of the nation in war instead of in the act of preserving the natural resources and preserving our democracy? So that is the thought of it. They should do it quickly. They should act now. They want the people to declare war if Germany takes any claim in the Western Hemisphere, though they have won over the country that is in possession of these holdings; at least the holdings in the Western Hemisphere. This would prohibit the Nazis from coming over here, because that would be our property.
Perhaps Great Britain would sell her holdings at a very reasonable price--would sell Canada at a very reasonable price, rather than to have the Nazis get it. So they should take cognizance of it and do it quickly, and send so much to them and make a contract and an agreement to the effect that they would pay them as delivered, or in other words, as these holdings were turned over to them; and send to the places designated by the Allies. So that would be the thought of it.
I do not see where Germany would have any business over here. Of course, that was MY proposal at first: to purchase the three Americas, if they would not unite. But now in this crisis of time, why not purchase all of the Allies holdings in and on the Western Hemisphere? By so doing you would be barring the enemy out, unless they would just wilfully invade our territory and take possession.
If they would purchase these lands outright, as they did Alaska, Cuba and others, it would be more scientific and more explicit. And this would help pay off the war debt. This would be a part of the purchase price they would have to pay. Some one had mentioned something about Great Britain giving Canada and the Bermuda Islands to the United States for their war debt.
Finland was the only one that kept up her payment on her war debt. So the war debt could be settled that way, if they would come to a square deal by negotiation to settle the war debt, and to allow the war debt to help for the purchase price of the holdings of Great Britain in and on the Western Hemisphere. If all of the other countries would consider it, it would be a wonderful thing. This would be an immediate strike, even though they may come anyhow and say that America purchased after they had won the war.
Before Great Britain is completely conquered, let her sell out all of her holdings in the Western Hemisphere, then if she would lose out--Take all of Canada and Bermuda and Jamaica especially, because they have more holdings than the other Allies.
But the natural resources of North America would be at our service and at our disposal. We would be holding and protecting and reserving our strength and our man-power and machinery, and all of our natural resources, the mineral kingdom as well as the vegetable kingdom and the animal and the man kingdom. That is what it is now.
If they do not do something, they will unearth the Monroe Doctrine; in other words, invoke it in international law for this particular issue, and at this time of crisis; whereby we will be obliged to be involved if they would attempt to make their objective on the Western Hemisphere.
(At this point FATHER asked the question, "Who was Monroe, and did he bring forth laws for this country that were unselfish for the good of the country?" Answer: a President.)
FATHER: "Who are you?" The thought of it was, "What is man that I might be mindful of him," for many accept of him and consider the doctrine as justifiable and as suitable for the Americas. Then I say we should stop and consider.
No doubt, as selfish people, and as in these different cooperative businesses and this cooperative system, others would like to be selfish and they would not want to unite, but they would want our protection in the time of crisis.
Secretary: England cannot defend herself.
FATHER: Great Britain and France consider that we would be obliged to defend them. They may consider as it was with Belgium and Holland, they would use this country to help ward off the bloodshed that would come to Great Britain; that is, if they would attempt to. They think that we would defend them. So we should or might just as well, defend them by purchasing all of these holdings of the Allies by negotiation and by paying the purchase price of their holdings less the war debt they owe us; and other purchase price with material and anything necessary. That is the way we could pay them and we could bring an end to war and save our natural resources and our energy.
If they do not do it, Argentina will be armed by the NAZIS. So it is the only hope in evidence that is actually in sight now to evade the issue of being invaded.
If they would only take heed to this proposal and put it through--now this would be the same as MY proposal to purchase Czechoslovakia, allowing the Sudetens to help pay for it. This would be the purchase of the Allies' holdings and allow them to help pay for it in the price paid for debts they owe to this country, in the act of help as required by them for this country's help.
It would become to be as Alaska under this jurisdiction, by the rules and regulations of this democracy legally, according to the Constitution and its Amendments. Hence, everyone in these countries would become to be Americans under the same Constitution and under the same independence, hence, each subject of each country immediately would and could become to be absolutely independent, even as the subjects of these United States directly are independent.
