FATHER DIVINE and MOTHER DIVINE
Millions have come and are still coming to the great Master Physician, GOD ALMIGHTY, FATHER DIVINE, for healings of every kind. They have learned how others have been blessed to strong, healthy bodies and wholesome, alert minds in place of diseased and crippled bodies and filthy minds, and they too want their deliverance. Many of them, however, have the misunderstanding that their healing will be brought about through some physical or personal remedy or method of FATHER DIVINE, and they feel it necessary to talk to Him Personally and tell Him of their troubles.
That the healing of body and mind is not accomplished in such a manner was explained by FATHER in His brief but beautiful Message, which followed the request of a visitor for a Personal interview, after stating that she had been ill for some time but felt better in the two meetings in the PEACE MISSION on this occasion and the previous evening. Our LORD explained that the real deliverance comes through the recognition and realization of GOD'S EVER PRESENCE, which creates an atmosphere that brings healing to mind and body.

'The Spirit of the consciousness of the Presence of GOD,
The Presence of GOD, the Presence of GOD--
The Spirit of the consciousness of the Presence of GOD
Is the source of all supply.'
FATHER speaks as follows:
PEACE, EVERYONE ! That little composition, although as a motto, brought forth in a song of praise and thanksgiving, it is well worth considering; for in this short, brief melody there are facts and figures too stout to be denied.
'The Spirit of the consciousness of the Presence of GOD Is the source of all supply.'
The reason for the last speaker feeling so much better in these different audiences,
it is because of the consciousness of GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE by these My believers
who are consciously convicted; and according to their version, GOD is actually
present. It is not anything that I do as a Person but create such a conscious
recognition in the conscious mentality of humanity with whom I AM connected and
with whom I come in contact. Such a conscious recognition and conviction once
established upper mostly in the consciousness of the people, it will eradicate
the undesirable conditions and dispel negation, misery, disappointment and failure
from you and from your surroundings.
As the light dispels darkness, even so GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE dispels all negation and dispels every adverse and every undesirable condition mentally and spiritually; for that is what GOD'S Presence is for. GOD being present is to dispel or eradicate or drive away--exterminate all undesirable conditions, and take the place of those conditions in your mentality and in your system, and fill all of the places of those undesirable conditions even to your characteristics and your disposition. That is the mystery.
So, as light dispels darkness, even so does the recognition of GOD and of His Presence dispel all undesirable conditions that are in opposition to Him. That is the mystery.
For this cause, you feel better in these different audiences. Thousands are healed automatically without My Personal consideration, for the consciousness of GOD'S Presence causes you to not be conscious of the "other fellow" and the "other fellow's" presence has no longer an effect on the conscious mentality of those who are conscious of GOD'S Presence.
That is the mystery of how the healing and the outward expression of other blessings takes place in the experience of millions. The consciousness of GOD'S Presence causes that which is good to take the place of everything else that is not good, for in your conscious religious conviction and the conscious conviction of millions, yea, all creation, they believe that GOD is good and His goodness transcends the undesirable and will take the undesirable away.
It is psychologically, mentally and spiritually, consciously and unconsciously established for you, without your conscious consideration of such a Phenomenon being actually manifested, and to you such a blessing.
Oh, how glorious it is to realize what GOD'S Presence in consciousness means to all of the children of men! GOD'S Presence in consciousness actually dispels the negative, the undesirable, and establishes the POSITIVE and the DESIRABLE in the place of the negative and undesirable. Just as I said, the sun, which is the light, causes darkness to disappear; even so GOD causes all negation and all undesirable conditions and circumstances, matters not what they may be, to disappear; for the desirable and the positive to take the place of those conditions and circumstances, characteristics and even the dispositions that are negative and antagonistic.
I just want to drop that thought for the consideration of the last speaker--especially for the last speaker; but that which is good for one, it is applicable to and for others. Can you not see the mystery?
GOD'S Presence in consciousness will keep an atmosphere in circulation in your surroundings and in your business and in your daily activities. and will cause things to be blessed abundantly where they were cursed in mortality. Aren't you glad?
'Blessed is that man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.'
You are walking in the counsel and by the counsel of the ALMIGHTY ! By being
in this atmosphere and in this environment, this atmosphere concerns you scientifically
and leads you accurately and teaches you with the Spirit of EQUITY, and leads
you and guides you "perfectionally."
How glorious it is to observe the mystery and to see what GOD has actually done and is doing for this people. The consciousness of GOD'S Presence is the KEYNOTE to SALVATION for you and for every other person, when you are actually conscious of GOD'S Presence.
Truly might have David said in the consciousness of GOD'S Presence:
'The LORD is my Shepherd and I shall not want,'
for he was in the consciousness of GOD'S Presence. Can you not see the mystery?
He said:
'. . . Thou art with me.'
It showed distinctly in the very same quotation that he was conscious of GOD'S
ACTUAL PRESENCE. That is the reason for the lack of fearing and fear in his system.
He could longer fear when he was conscious of GOD'S Presence.
'. . . for Thou art with me," said he, "Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.'
Jesus said:
'Lo, I AM with you always.'
It was an expression and a quotation, and yet an assertion and a declaration
of GOD HIMSELF in the name of Jesus, declaring He would with you always; that
you need not fear, but know when GOD is here, you have nothing to fear. Aren't
you glad?
Now that is the reason for you feeling so much better in these different audiences, for all of these My hearers, followers and friends, ninety-nine percent of them believe implicitly and sincerely, conscientiously with all of their hearts, souls and minds, that GOD is actually present all the time. By believing that GOD is present all the time, the "other fellow" is out of their minds. Can you not see the mystery?
Therefore, the "other fellow" has no longer an existence as far as they are concerned, for GOD is ruling on the throne of their mind and has full control in and over them. That is the mystery.
Now take these thoughts to consideration. If you relax your conscious mentality and still yourselves as individuals, My SPIRIT, My PRESENCE, as a living reality, will be with you; and it is written, of which will be fulfilled in your experience:
'In all of their affliction He was afflicted, but the Angel (the Spirit) of His Presence healed them.'
Can you not see the mystery?
That is the significance of the Angel of His Presence healing them. The Spirit of GOD'S Presence by such a recognition actually heals them mentally, physically and spiritually, and causes them to be new creatures in reality.
Take these thoughts to consideration and be conscious of GOD'S Presence, if you please, and you will see definitely, in reality, GOD is no longer something imaginary but a living reality made real, tangible and practical. By your recognition of His ACTUAL PRESENCE, He reacts upon the impulse of the moment and causes you to know it definitely by what He actually tells you in deeds and in actions and in His expressions, by SPIRIT and by LIFE and by LIBERTY He so freely giveth!
You feel better when you come in these audiences, all being conscious of GOD as a living reality made real, tangible and practical, and ever present with you as it was with David at the time he said:
'The LORD is my Shepherd and I shall not want.'
The Mission of CHRIST according to the prediction of the prophet by the Spirit,
was that GOD is with us, with this particular Mission, to bring into your conscious
recognition and realization GOD'S ACTUAL PRESENCE as your REDEEMER and your SAVIOR.
Aren't you glad?
What said the prediction of the prophecy? Yea, the prophet himself knew it by inspiration as he predicted it:
'His name shall be called Immanuel, being interpreted, GOD is with us.'
Get in this consciousness and as GOD is with you, naught will be able to hurt you nor harm you. I thank you.
