Krum Elbow
FATHER had just arrived Personally in the City from Krum Elbow where HE served the beautiful dedicatory Banquet at the opening of the new steel structured hotel which has just recently been completed. It is a picture of artistic beauty, inside and out.
Just before leaving there, we listened to a program of news broadcast direct from Washington, and in this broadcast, it stated that the unification of the Americas, the twenty-one Republics of the Americas, is now believed to be a sound fact, and that they are morally determined that they will establish and maintain peaceful and harmonious activities among the Americas in order to keep any belligerent invaders from invading this Western Hemisphere. It said that this was partly brought about by President Roosevelt's appeal for such a union through religious endeavors, or words to that effect. This in itself shows the immediate effect of FATHER'S telegram and letter to the President of the United States and members of his cabinet, as well as the letters HE sent each one of the heads of the other twenty American Republics.
Shortly after this the telephone rang and someone stated that they were calling from Rockland Palace in New York where many, many thousands were gathered waiting for FATHER'S arrival Personally, and they wondered if FATHER would not say something to them before the meeting was dismissed. To the great delight of all, FATHER condescended to do so; and what a great shout went up when HIS sweet little Voice came over the telephone and floated into the microphone, saying, "Everybody happy?"
FATHER then proceeded to give a little Message concerning HIS Plan for the unification of the three Americas and what will be accomplished by such a unification if carried out according to HIS Plan and HIS Purpose unselfishly.
It was soon after this that the Deusenberg pulled off from Krum Elbow, its destination being 152-160 West One Hundred and Twenty-sixth Street, New York City. Thus it was that while sitting in the office shortly after HIS arrival in the early morning hours, FATHER began talking to the few gathered around HIM who had kept the faith that FATHER would arrive before morning. And out of this little talk, grew the beautiful Message herein transcribed for your benefit and enjoyment.

You can search your history through and you can search your Bible too, but you will never find a man like JESUS. If you find something positive, a definite promise in the Book, pick it out and plant that seed of, or concerning anything, that concerns you and relax on it and rely on it to bring the due results you have desired concerning such a thing, and it will come to pass. That is it of which I have said, or which I said, whichever, through the Mouth of JESUS to the disciples when they failed to accomplish that which they desired and had endeavored:
'If you have the faith of a grain of mustard seed, you can say to yonder mountain, be thou removed and cast into the depths of the sea; it will obey thee!'
for there is nothing impossible with him that believeth, or with whosoever believeth!
So then find some place, in other words, some promise in the Book some place, and select and elect that promise and apply it to the thing or things you desire; then relax your conscious mentality and still yourselves and you will have it. So to bring it out like that, it is well worth considering, for the relaxation of the conscious mentality is the great essential, that the spirit with the creative forces of nature might recreate that of which you are stressing and bring it into outer expression that you might come into possession of it.
Nevertheless, I was conveying the thought that the said idea according to the promise--if you find some promise in the Book, I could have said--embrace by selection that promise and hold fast to it by conception; adhere to the Message it is conveying and live in harmony with it by obedience and relax your conscious mentality. Through that conception you will have it. It is a wonderful thought!
I was thinking about how great and marvelous it is to know those things are applicable to each and everyone who can and will search out and find those things in the Book of the Promises; and when they shall have found that in the Book where their salvation stands, in that they have sought a deliverance; when that shall have been done, they will have that which they have sought and shall have found!
I was trying to show where it was productive and producible for each and everyone if they can find a place in the Book where their salvation stands--some promise that is made, such as, "Let there be no division among you." If you unselfishly, conscientiously, with all sincerity, would but grasp that request and make it an issue as your own and react on it by stressfully and sincerely requesting unity, that there shall be no division among you, it is the Promise of GOD or Request of GOD; and if you re-request such a request, you reiterate and stress it vividly. It may be called your request but it is the Request of the ALMIGHTY. GOD will fulfil it for you, for it is HIS Own Request. You see the mystery?
As in the experience of this particular issue of which we are stressing, when making the request of the heads of the nation to do such a thing as I have requested, producing it into MY Language and in MY especial Language but allowing it to be a request that they themselves have requested, how can they get away from it? See the mystery? That is why I said in MY Letter to President Roosevelt, it was through the research work of the efforts of some seeking to find something diplomatically that had been spoken by some of the diplomats that would back up MY Version and MY Request I was making; and I found in his speech on a certain occasion that bore witness and record of it to us; therefore I was prompted to write the letter of congratulation for that which he had given that had come before MY Message.
So the request that you make, if there is a request to be made, even to him of whom you request that requirement to be fulfilled or to fulfil such a request, if you can find some promise or some request made equivalent to it by the one whom you are requesting to perform such a duty, how can they object to such a request or refuse to accept it when they have first requested it?
It is the same as research work in law; if you are seeking the exoneration of a prisoner or a criminal for some offense, if you can find some place in law where such an experience has been someone else's experience and according to the law that was made or ruled on for such an offender, you can consider that law you have found is presentable to be presented, and show that you have found something through your research work according to law, that such a person should be exonerated for such an offense. You see the mystery? So the research work will give you to know or think most definitely whether there is a chance for exoneration.
It happened to be in this particular issue of MY Request that I made as an issue, I sought mentally and spiritually to bring something out diplomatically that would verify that which I had proposed and had endeavored, that they might see politically and diplomatically, MY Version and MY Request or proposal was the very thing that they had endeavored partially. MINE may have been more distinct and more than what they actually required, but if there is law to back that up of which I have produced and by MY Research Work I have found it and I have shown it, how can you get around it?
The promise that is found in the Book, a promise where your salvation stands, you can rely on it if it is found in the Book of the Promises, for it is the Promise of GOD--full salvation to give--to give you a full salvation. Then it must needs be that you search the Book of the Promises and find out some promise that will justify your efforts--your effort in trying to bring about that which you have endeavored. Find that promise! Find it somewhere in the Book of the Laws of Life and find law that will justify your request, your endeavors, your plan and your purpose and satisfy the issue accurately, that those who judge with equity might see and know definitely, such an issue is justifiable.
When you hold fast to that which you have sought, when you know definitely it is ac- cording to the Gospel, according to the Promise of GOD from any other angle of expression, you can rely on it implicitly with all sincerity; that which you have spoken will be fulfilled; for the Mouth of GOD has declared it, since GOD is with you in that which you have endeavored.
'I pray that they may be one even as We are one!'
That particular quotation in that particular instance is well worth considering.
It is applicable to any endeavor in the act of bringing about unity between a
person and a person, between several persons severally and many, many persons
collectively, and groups of persons organizationally and nations nationally--it
is applicable. And if you go into such as has been requested by the ALMIGHTY
with the spirit of sincerity and be conscientious in all of your endeavors and
be absolutely unselfish, that which you endeavor will be accomplished and GOD
will accomplish it for you!
'Let there be light and there was light!'
Light was something that would be as it is, constructive and helpful; it was
not something to be used merely selfishly; but if it was something that was impersonal
and could and would be used absolutely unselfishly, light was obliged to appear
for it was constructive and profitable for everybody even as it was for the ALMIGHTY!
Then some may wonder at times, why is it they cannot accomplish their endeavors and do what they desire to do by making such requests? It is because they make such requests that are unevangelical--such requests that are absolutely selfish and such requests that are detrimental to others. Such requests cannot be fulfilled, heard and answered correctly because of the selfishness of them. The spirit and the meaning of such requests will convey a thought, a sense of antagonism. It will be antagonistic to others at times and will cause your very message to be repulsive! But make thou your request with and of an absolutely unselfish nature with the characteristics of your SAVIOR. Make such requests with the spirit of honesty, of competence and of truth, and know within yourself it is your duty to do so! Your prayer or request will be heard and answered speedily. for the promise by the great Creator has been made in the Book of Promises.
LET THERE BE THE UNITED COUNTRIES OF THE AMERICAS! Who could prohibit such an act from being performed? That is if such a request is made with the spirit of sincerity and absolutely unselfishly. It is for the common good of mankind; therefore it must come forth into expression, for it is GOD Who speaketh and GOD Alone Who speaks absolutely unselfishly!
How glorious it is when you can find some promise in the Book where your salvation stands, where your deliverance will come, where your request and requests will be fulfilled by making such a request according to the Scripture and according to the request of HIS. That is what I was thinking about!
'Let there be no division among you,'
and,
'I pray that they may be one even as We are one!'
In the beginning of the creation they were all of ONE LANGUAGE and of ONE SPEECH,
and out of ONE BLOOD, GOD Created all of the nations that dwell upon the face
of the earth! You can see that at-one-ment in evidence from some one of the angles
of expression from the beginning of the creation even until now.
Then speak and act in accord with it in the act of your endeavors to bring about this unity in whatsoever you may endeavor. If your endeavors are absolutely unselfish and untouched by dishonesty, incompetence and untruth, your endeavors are obliged to be fulfilled for you.
A Secretary: I can see now, how incompetence and untruth and dishonesty can prohibit the fulfillment of something that would apparently be righteous.
FATHER: Positively--if there is a germ of self inserted or interjected in the request or through and by the requester being selfish, dishonest, incompetent or untrue. When you pray, do not pray amiss, but pray with all sincerity and pray direct to the point for consideration; your prayers will be heard and answered. For what profit would it be for one person to request of GOD to take something away from another and give it to them for a selfish purpose, or give it to him or her for a selfish purpose? That person who seeks it selfishly through begrudge-fulness, envy and covetousness may use it more detrimentally than the other--the one from whom you are trying to take.
For this cause some may be successful and some may be a failure in the very thing that each of them may endeavor; for one seeks it and will do it selfishly and for a selfish purpose. One person will try to do something, try to acquire something and try to control something selfishly, as was in the experience of David in the last state of his life--in other words, when he sought to take the life of Urias selfishly; but when he slew Goliath directly, out rightly, but unselfishly, he was justified in his endeavors. But when he did something selfishly, he was not only guilty of doing something that was not justifiable, but he found himself deprived of his blessing and of his dominion that GOD had given him! One may do something absolutely unselfish and get by at it, though it may look as if though it is detrimental. Another may do something selfishly, copying after the fashion of the unselfish person, and may get into it!
Self experience is well worth considering; for that which I have endeavored, have done and AM doing--to others who live and do certain things selfishly in the act of directing or doing anything that may not seem to be real mean, but because it is done selfishly, to them it is detrimental. Therefore if they do it they will not profit by it because of the dishonesty of heart, of mind, of aim and of purpose; for they are not unified together with the ALMIGHTY, and they will not harmonize with HIS Majesty, with HIS Dominion and with HIS Authority, but will go in opposition to GOD'S Plan and to GOD'S Purpose.
At this point a secretary exclaimed on how the different factions and organizations and religions through the ages have prayed for peace, but their prayers were never answered effectively, because it seemed that some would speak and pray for the purpose of obtaining the honor and glory for themselves, and others would pray for peace and success and prosperity and such like for their own group and not unselfishly for a universal blessing for one and all regardless of so-called race, creed or color. FATHER continues:
Well, it is true; they do those things just that way many times absolutely selfishly. Their very intent, their acts and their deeds are motivated by the spirit of selfishness, and many times envy, malice, covetousness and strife--all of these combined as a complication of diseases. But these are mental and spiritual diseases, in other words, characteristical diseases; they are destroying the nations of our civilization, the majority of them.
A Secretary: But those mental and spiritual diseases will be materialized if they are not corrected, won't they ?
FATHER: Yes. It is wonderful! Let there be the United Republics of the Americas! Permit ME to stress it and enact it absolutely unselfishly and I will accomplish it speedily, for it is according to the Plan and the Purpose of MY Spirit! I thank you!
