FATHER DIVINE
Many different ideas and various opinions have been expressed by both press and radio these past few weeks, especially concerning FATHER and what HE is doing and what HE is going to do and what HE has already done. As usual, the newspapers do not convey unbiased reports and as usual they carry only a sketch and a glimpse of the real Truth of this Mighty Movement.
However, on this particular evening, to the great surprise of all the newspaper reporters and photographers present, FATHER had as His guest at the Banquet Table, Mrs. Angela C. Kaufman, noted society woman of Newport, of whom so many articles have been written recently stating that she fully intended to sell or give to FATHER DIVINE her mansion in Newport, Newport being the abode of many well known socialites. This was of course, the last thing that they expected to happen or anticipated seeing.
FATHER had a newspaper reprint of one of the said articles read which was printed verbatim in the latest issue of The New Day magazine under date of July thirteenth, nineteen hundred and thirty-nine. Following this article is FATHER'S glorious and dynamic Message given concerning this topic of interest which was also read at this time. Mrs. Kaufman openly expressed her genuine enthusiasm and whole-hearted appreciation of this Message by clapping her hands and finally shaking hands with FATHER, which brought forth the flashing of lights and the clicking of cameras.
It was shortly after this that FATHER arose and delivered this masterful and vital Message to the world at large, showing to them conclusively the omnipotent power and majesty of GOD at last firmly asserting itself among the wicked children of this perverse generation. Read this significant Lecture and see the Truth being established for yourself.

PEACE, EVERYONE: Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite, with Life, Liberty and the reality of Happiness, all Success and All Prosperity! Peace and Joy and Pleasure! All these I establish that you all might enjoy them.
It is a privilege to realize, that which has been prophesied is now being fulfilled in the sight of your physical eye. Aren't you glad! It has long since been declared,
'HE shall purge the sons of Levi and purge them as silver and as gold are purged!'
Can you not see, I AM being called on to purge the corrupt politicians of all
of their sin and corruption, that Righteousness might have access among us and
vice and crime no longer have an existence?
When I Personally came to New York City a few years ago to start this crusade of Work in the act of destroying vice and crime and sin and debauchery of every kind, I said,
'I will clean up the city of its corruption!'
Has it not been plainly discerned that the corrupt politicians in this city apparently
firstly, and in the state of Connecticut, where MY activities were established,
were rooted out of office and exposed to all creation, to let them know that
official corruption shall no longer have an existence?
I have been called to one of the great society centers of America! I AM not speaking of New Rochelle now, but MY Words and MY Works shall reach the corruption in all high places and GOD shall bring them down or cause the cosmic forces of nature to work among them, one or the other!
Even governments as though they are many, the divers governmental expressions of government, shall not prohibit My access nor My Work among this people! Aren't you glad! They may have their armies and navies, they may have all sorts of war equipment, but I have MY Spirit, of which is declared by millions to be the infinite and the omnipotent among all nations, languages, tongues and people, and will reach them scientifically and accurately wheresoever they are found!
By this we shall have a Righteous Government, as I declared in MY Righteous Government Song. We shall cast down and dethrone every unjust official and as I have it under My Personal Jurisdiction, so shall it be universally. Righteousness shall have access among the nations where wickedness had once had its sway!
Now I need not say a word, I need not do a thing, but the Spirit of MY Presence will accomplish that which I have endeavored, for I have long since declared and I redeclare the same:
'It is not by power nor by might but by MY Spirit declares the LORD!'
Then if it is by the Spirit and if the Spirit is Omnipotent, if the Spirit is
Infinite and if the Spirit is Omniscient, then what can hinder it?
Wheresoever you hear them say, or even convey a thought through the press, they do not want ME in their respective communities, they want vice and crime and sin and debauchery of every kind! They desire to legalize crime if they do not want ME! Any person or persons in the United States of America who do not want ME in their respective communities, they want vice and crime and they desire to legalize it and establish it legally that it might have a firm hold on the masses and control them under such a condition as vice and crime commit. Not only does vice commit such conditions as are brought about by vice and crime but it creates such in the atmosphere and in the environment of such individuals who are filled with prejudice, with a malicious intent. They destroy themselves automatically, thinking they are trying to destroy others! The thing that they desire to come upon you, will come upon them firstly!
Now I have not done anything yet to what I will do! I need not do a thing, I said. All I must needs do is to think in that direction and My Spirit will accomplish My would-be endeavors! With or without a Body I will accomplish all of MY Endeavors, for it is not by power as a physical person but by MY SPIRIT I AM telling you!
Oh, what a privilege to live in the Actual Presence of GOD! Regardless to the oppositions--we do not care anything about oppositions. I thrive and advance scientifically and speedily on oppositions! The thing they desire to keep down by oppositions, it will come forth into expression, it will shoot up like a kite--it will go out of their sight! Aren't you glad!
I often think of when you plant a grain of seed, of almost any kind of seed in the ground, it will germinate quicker and will take root deeper by being pressed down! If you do not press the earth down on the seed, it will not take root quickly and it will not even germinate in a great measure in some places, but they germinate quickly when the earth is pressed down tightly upon them. They germinate quickly and they take root deeply because they are going up and coming down all at the same time!
Then I say, it is a blessing to be the under-privileged, the non-privileged and the down-trodden! When you are down-trodden under the feet of men, why, you will take root quickly by germination and you will take root deeply by germinating quickly. Aren't you glad!
That is exactly what I AM doing among the children of men, and as I have long since declared, all corruption shall be thrown out of politics, and wheresoever I even so much as direct MY Thoughts, it has a psychological effect and MY Spirit will work--not only work but MY Spirit will do it!
I need not do a thing! That which I have agreed to do in reference to Newport, that is exactly what I will do! I shall bring the mountains and hills low! I shall exalt the valleys as I go! I shall bring judgment into outer expression as unto truth and cause Truth to be established wheresoever you are! I need not go any place Personally! Aren't you glad! I go if I will, and if I do not care to go any place Personally, MY Spirit is there working effectively. That is the significance of the Omnipotent, that is the significance of the Omniscient, because GOD has all Wisdom in His Own Omniscience and can reach you in a way you know not.
'HE enters in when the door is shut!'
Aren't you glad! I AM not only entering into society, I have been in society!
I AM not only entering into politics, I have been in politics! Aren't you glad!
I AM not only entering into religion, I have been in religion!
Then I say, GOD alone shall reign with or without a bodily form! Hence, that which I have declared, MY Spirit will do it! I need not do a thing! Aren't you glad!
There are many other places throughout this country we shall clean up, for we shall have a righteous government and vice and crime among the officials shall no longer have an existence unless I expose it to the general public and all know each and every corrupt official definitely!
I need not say more. Now those who oppose ME, see them go down! They are committing suicide! They are dethroning themselves, impeaching themselves! When they are not impeached by the government and by legality or politics, they are impeaching themselves, for they know they are subject to death, therefore they commit suicide in a great measure.
If your heart keeps right with GOD you will not commit suicide, but if your heart is not right with GOD and you know you have committed such crimes as are worthy of death--if no one else will condemn you, dethrone you and throw you out of office, you will commit suicide in them. Aren't you glad!
'The wages of sin is death but the Gift of GOD is Eternal Life through JESUS CHRIST your LORD!'
Upon this Foundation if you stand, when I AM apparently absent I AM Ever-Present
and I AM working just as effectively in the hearts and in the lives and in the
business and the affairs of the children of men, even the political business
and affairs of men! I AM working among them when I AM apparently absent and I
AM not apparently considered.
'And HE entered in and the door was shut!'
This is the mystery of the Resurrected Life of CHRIST! The resurrected state
of consciousness can enter in when the door is shut and the Spirit of MY Presence
can work effectively when the Personal Body is not apparently functioning, when
the Personal Body is not considered, for it is not by the Body but it is by MY
Spirit; therefore MY Spirit will do it! Aren't you glad!
Just as it is here, so shall we have it universally! All corruption shall be thrown out of politics; or else corruption will consume politics and politics will have no longer an existence as an influence nor as a system to control this people. For the government itself that is by the people and for the people and through the people will perish from the earth except they live exactly according to the Constitution and its Amendments and refuse to allow self and prejudice and debauchery of its own kind to have an existence!
Oh, it is a privilege to observe the mystery! Just think of it! They do not want righteousness, truth and justice! If they do not want ME they do not want righteousness, and its amendments, for I AM the Personification of it! If they do not want ME they do not want the Declaration of Independence for I AM the Personification of it! If they do not want ME they do not want righteousness, truth and justice, they want the extreme reverse of these expressions, for they are of them and desire to see corruption in evidence continually!
I need not say more; I will speak more distinctly in the Actuated Words of MY Expression when I cease to speak Personally, for MY Spirit had declared it and you all shall see it as you verify it. For the Spirit, as I afore said, is the REALITY although it is made tangible and practical for you.
The practicality of the Spirit is a reality but it could not be practical saving as it is brought into materiality, materially manifested by tangibilization, made real and practical-- then and only then is it a reality! I thank you. I thank you. I thank you.
