The Shrine to Life atThe Mount of the House of the Lord.

(After the singing of the song, "There is Love in every heart for YOU," Mother Divine arose in all Her radiant Beauty to speak as follows:)

Peace FATHER Dear, Peace Everyone: I just thought I would stand on My feet to emphasize what we have been singing and that is, "There is Love in every heart for YOU." This is certainly true! We cannot love and appreciate FATHER DIVINE too much. If you just think of HIM as an individual, what HE Personally has done to bring mankind together in one and to alleviate the suffering and the problems that beset mankind is marvelous. Our hearts are filled with Love and Praise to FATHER DIVINE and I know there are many here this afternoon who would like to express the sentiments of their hearts in one way or another. As the majority of you know, in all of our assemblies everyone is privileged to speak according to the dictates of their own conscience and at this time I especially want to extend an invitation to our visiting guests and friends to speak if they desire to do so.

I would like to particularly call the attention of one and all to the fact that we have with us this afternoon Archbishop William (Father) Francis. Father Francis is of the Old Roman Catholic Church and he is Pastor of the Church on the Mountain in Woodstock, New York, but what endears him to us as Followers of FATHER DIVINE so very much is that he came in contact with FATHER DIVINE many, many years ago. Perhaps he can tell you better than I can. And he has always been able to be a witness for the truth about FATHER DIVINE. It is so wonderful that he is here today, and, well, he can tell it better than I can why he is here today. Father Francis, would you like to have a word to say?

Archbishop William (Father) Francis:

There is much that I would like to say but I have a slight affliction in my throat so I have asked my good friend and fellow traveler, my bosom companion, to say a few words for me.

I can never put into cold English the love and the affection I have for all of you. You've helped me in my life. You see I knew FATHER way back in 1926, something like that, and HE has been the Source of inspiration. Now I'm a young man of ninety-one, I was ninety-one this month. (Applause) When I knew this was the Marriage Feast I had to come here; it was not duty it was love, because my heart is filled with love for all of you people. You've been the source of inspiration to my whole life; so that it's not only what you do, it's what you've done to others. Perhaps Mr. O'Shaughnessy who is writing my life for one of the big publishers, perhaps he could tell you because he knows the way I feel about it.

Mr. Joseph P. O'Shaughnessy:

Thank YOU FATHER and thank You MOTHER. I would just like to say a few words very briefly. This is my second meeting with you; I was fortunate enough to be in Kingston last summer. Father Francis has told me a great deal about FATHER DIVINE and about you, much prior to my meeting you. You have a great deal of joy and pride in living and it reflects in everything you do, it's done so well and with so much enthusiasm that it is, as FATHER DIVINE said in HIS SPEECH, extremely contagious. I think anybody who comes in contact with FATHER DIVINE and with any of you takes something with them and that something is very good.

Once again, thank you very much for allowing me to be here.

MOTHER DIVINE:

Also from the group that came with Father Francis are Miss Mary and Mr. Christopher. Would you care to have a word to say?

Miss Mary:

I also would just like to extend my appreciation and my thanks for meeting you all a second time, and I leave here today, I think, with much more love and much more appreciation for people than I felt before. It just gets deeper and more gratifying each time I come into contact with all of you. Thank you.

Mr. Christopher:

I would just like to say that I am very honored to be among a group of people like you. I grew up in a very large family myself., I have fourteen brothers and sisters, but this is really quite a Family you have here!

I have been to Philadelphia once before but you make me understand why they call it the City of Brotherly Love.

My stomach is as full right now as my heart is with the love that you people show for each other and for the world, and if the whole world could live the way you people live, then FATHER DIVINE'S Words would be indeed true. Thank you.
