"Where the Body of GOD is, there the angels will be gathered together." In spite of the fact that this particular evening was the Righteous Government Meeting night at the 63rd Street Extension, the masses of the followers were assembled at the 115th Street Building, and there they remained until close to ten o'clock, when FATHER surprised them all by leaving His office apparently, and making His Appearance in Person at the Sixty-third Street Meeting.
Wheresoever "the Body" goes or leads, the Angels are sure to follow. In view of this fact, it is needless to say that a very short period of time elapsed before the audience multiplied itself to many times its size; for when FATHER Personally arrived, there were but a few of the faithful scattered here and there in the auditorium. It is a well-known fact that FATHER DIVINE is the Magnet that draws all of the people. Even as steel draws steel, or as the little steel magnet is of the same composition or metallic element as the minor steel objects, and even the little plain pins, it has power to attract all such objects composed and made of the same constituent material as itself. The same is true with FATHER DIVINE and all humanity. They will all eventually be drawn to this Great Fundamental from one angle or the other, and they will not be able to resist. If they create for themselves a defensive so that they will not come visibly in a physical body, they will return inevitably invisibly, and their spirits will be reincarnated by the GOD Who created them. They must recognize the BODY of GOD. In this beautiful Message given here at this time, FATHER explains the significance of the followers loving Him.
The evening here on this occasion was charming. The musical numbers were pleasing; but best of all, the Sweetness of the Presence of the Adorable One, FATHER DIVINE, was the cause of it all.
This is a beautiful message, every reader will agree; therefore, we offer
our unanimous thanks-giving to Thee, O LORD.

Good Health! Good Will! A Good Appetite with Good Manners! Good Behavior! Success and all Prosperity! Wisdom! Knowledge! And all Understanding! All of these blessings I bring tonight. If I do not bring them in my own Personal Tabernacle, I bring them forth into expression in others.
I believe you all feel my Presence here tonight. As I AM Impersonal, you feel My Impersonal Presence; for I AM in these My followers who have turned out tonight to bear witness of the Spirit and the Presence of GOD.
While sitting, I thought of a quotation quite often quoted from the Gospel,
where Jesus said,
"When HE, the Spirit of Truth has come, HE
shall teach you all things and bring all things
to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said
to you."
I also thought of the quotation in connection with same:
"The Comforter will abide with you forever."
If not with you, it will with ME. I AM ever comforted. I AM not comfortless.
Not only so, but I have company-keepers . . . a company-keeper transmitted.
It must be My Spirit, but in expression of many, many bodies. Each individual
who is living according to My Teaching, he or she is My company-keeper. They
are My Comforters, as it may apparently be, yet the same is applicable to you.
Apply the same to your life and realize, "the CHRIST" from each and
every angle of expression "is rich and all you need. GOD will your every
hunger feed." "GOD" does not only walk beside you but
"GOD walks within you and guides the way
Through every moment, night and day."
How glorious it is to live in such a state of consciousness where you are conscious of GOD'S Actual Presence and all of His Promises to His children; of how you are the recipients of such promises and the inheritors of such Blessings; how you can come into your rightful possession of your rightful inheritance by living according to My Teaching.
How marvelous it is to be in such a recognition! While sitting I thought of how marvelous it is to be emancipated and have victory over undesirable conditions. While one of the speakers mentioned the freedom of speech, I thought of the privilege of every individual having the freedom of speech. If you have the freedom of speech and are free indeed, you will be attracted where you would not be attracted and you will be with ME when you would not be otherwise.
The reason my Followers love ME so, is because I give them the freedom of speech, the freedom of action in expression of deeds and actions and emotions, so long as they are Evangelical, and so long as they are legal.
How glorious it is to live in a place in consciousness where you know definitely you are the fulfillers of the Scriptures! In freeing you in this land, I free you to do just what you will to do, and be just what I AM, if you can. I have attracted your attention and I have drawn you in this direction. I have caused you to make a close connection with that of which you say I AM.
It is a marvelous thing, Beloved Ones, to realize, the Works of GOD will go on with or without a person. This Righteous Government Movement shall continue to go on and on and on throughout all eternity. If the Constitution of our great country and its Amendments are converted into Righteousness, Truth and Justice and brought into subjection to the Law of the Spirit of Life that was in CHRIST JESUS, the government of this country through the people, by the people and for the people, will not perish from the earth. For this cause I came, no longer representing a minister of the Gospel for the preaching to the souls of the children of men alone; but preaching to the bodies and systems, rules and regulations, and even preaching to the institutions, that they all might be converted and recognize GOD'S actual Presence. For this cause I came.
It is a wonderful thought, Beloved Ones, when you realize, men for many years have been going from shore to shore and from land to land, across the land and sea to make different proselytes; but when you find out they are converted, as may be termed, in their souls and not in their minds, many of them continued on in sin; their ways are not changed. But finding the conversion of that which was termed "The Soul" was not the thing, for this purpose and for this cause I came, that you might seek diligently the Fundamentals of Life, the Hope of your redemption whereby all mankind can be saved and will be saved from every undesirable condition created by mortality's version.
Oh, it is a privilege to realize, GOD in the midst of you is Mighty to save! HE came saving, converting and emancipating the very bodies and the minds of the children of men, that their physical bodies might be cleansed and saved from all of the results of sin; for sickness and diseases are the offspring of sin. For sin is the mother of all diseases and the mother of death after birth.
Can you not see the mystery? The mother of birth is the mother of sin, and the mother of sin is the mother of death. Oh, it is a privilege to realize, CHRIST came to save you from such a curse! Not only to emancipate you from sin as the Religions consider sinning, but to emancipate you from all undesirable conditions, all adverse and undesirable conditions and give you your real emancipation, for "HE that the Son sets free, is free indeed."
By the different individuals having the freedom of speech and of expression; by the individuals moving volitionally according to their respective volunteer volition, by their being governed by their highest intuition; they have the chance to bring the CHRIST within them to fruition, although it may be classed as superstition. But such a recognition and conviction will give you your real emancipation; not only your emancipation from certain conditions but it will emancipate you from all adverse and all undesirable conditions and give you victory over sickness and diseases. That is the mystery. For this cause I came and for this purpose I stand.
I stand, bringing the light of Truth to the children of men, to reach them wheresoever they are; to reach their respective conditions, their circumstances and their surroundings. I stand as an Emancipator to emancipate you from the undesirable and to establish the desirable within you, that your experiences in the future might be the out-picturing and the outward expression of the desirable for all humanity. For this is the only Hope of your redemption, to recognize such a Presence that can emancipate you and lift you, and has emancipated you from those conditions. I will not let you fall. Aren't you glad!
When I came out here this evening, I waited until around ten o'clock, because I did not desire to allow you to know, nor any other individual, that I was coming. I desire to come as I AM and draw you if I could. (Laughter) I know you love ME! My Love in you, as being termed your love for ME, will draw you to ME. Aren't you glad? This Magnetism is not merely for an expression of enthusiasm and an expression to demonstrate the Power of GOD'S Majesty. I Forbid! In the language of men I say, "GOD FORBID!" I forbid it to be merely such an expression, for the purpose of attraction, but it is for a demonstration; to bring into your conscious consideration and realization, all of the Righteousness described and imagined or visualized by all of the Religions.
I bring into actuality and into the reality, your conscious realization of millions; the fondest imaginations of all of the Righteousness of all of the Religions, and I cause these qualities to be put into expression, made real, tangible and practical, that GOD among the inhabitants of the earth might be a Living Factor made real, tangible and practical.
You have been keeping GOD in the abstract until I came; in other words, in the invisible, in the imaginary concept of things. Therefore, GOD to you could not be just as I AM. Conditions could not be changed for you, for you observed GOD from an invisible point of view, and if things were changed, they were changed merely mentally and Spiritually, in a way of speaking, and that would be subconsciously, in a great measure. But now conditions and things are changed visibly; made real, tangible and practical by you being consciously converted to Righteousness.
Then I say, "Righteousness" not only will "exalt a people," but it has exalted a people. It has exalted the nation, but remember, "sin is a reproach to any people." For this cause I have called for Righteousness in your dealings between man and man, that Righteousness might have free and full access among them. When this shall have been once established among the children of men from a legal point of view, we shall have a Righteous Government, and the government of this country will be brought into subjection to Righteousness as I AM exemplifying it. It will not perish from the earth. Aren't you glad!
One of the speakers mentioned a little while ago, some senator speaking about carrying the Afro-Americans back to Africa. Of course he called them by a vulgar, cursed name. Unfortunately, our educators are ignorant enough to endorse vulgarity, especially in imposing a name upon themselves and others for the purpose of low-rating; but from that version of our history and of our educational system, I came to emancipate you. However, at this instance, the speaker talking about, at least, he mentioned the senator saying: "All of the Afro-Americans should be returned to Africa."
Ninety-nine percent of those who are called "Afro-Americans" are as much French-Americans, Irish-Americans, Spanish-Americans, German-Americans, Italian-Americans as they are Afro-Americans. Now who would be the inspector who would perform the physical operation and take every drop of blood of the different nationalities out of them? In this light of the living, where we stand, such ignorance is not in our consideration. We recognize the Actual Presence of GOD, the universal Brotherhood of man and the realization that GOD is your Father. GOD is your Father, regardless to His color. GOD is your father and you never had another. Aren't you glad?
For this cause we stand as representatives of a human race. That is why we are speaking from an earthly standpoint, or from an earthly point of view, representatives of the human race upon the face of the earth, of every so-called nation, of every language, of every tongue and of every people. By My Spirit and by My Mind I AM bringing into the unity of the Spirit, of Mind, of Aim and of Purpose, each and all of the so-called languages, tongues and people, and there shall be no division among us. That is what they are worrying about.
They know in themselves, as one of the senators said, if I continue I could
not be restrained. Regardless to what men may say or do, or try to do, I shall
accomplish that for which I came. As it is now, I cannot and I shall not be
restrained. I AM going forth conquering and to conquer. I shall accomplish
all of My Endeavors with or without My Person, and I shall cause all mankind
to love one another, according to the Gospel. Aren't you glad? You feel good
when you love each other, and especially when you love ME.
This Magnetic Love transcends your fondest imagination. It goes into Infinitude; the end you cannot vision. Aren't you glad? With, over and above all opposition this Love shall go on undisturbed. The more they rise in opposition to it, the more you will love one another. Aren't you glad? (Hearty applause.)
I AM obliged to continue to say; "Aren't you glad?" or "I
know you are glad,", for you have never tasted of such an unmingled love.
Before you thought you loved, but it was mingled. It was a mixture, adulterated.
You committed adultery with your love, your so-called love, for adulteration
is adultery; but how glorious it is to taste of this unadulterated love, undiluted
love, unmingled love and joy without a tear. Then I say, you are going on with
ME.
I will not even ask you in words, to love ME. I can even act as if though I
do not care if you do not love ME; but yet, you will love ME just the same,
for what GOD has done for all mankind and what GOD is now doing for them. Aren't
you glad? Just think of it! "Whatsoever HE bids you do," said one, "do
it." She knew, if Jesus did what He bade them do, everything would be
all right, and they would have a-full and a-plenty and more to spare; therefore,
she bade them; "What He bids you do, do it."
The same Spirit is speaking today. If you do what I bid you do, from undesirable conditions you will be emancipated; for this that I AM expressing is applicable to and for each and every individual. You can be partakers of it. This is the purpose for which I came, that you might be partakers of the same and come into possession of your rightful inheritance and live in GOD'S Actual Presence, and know your GOD. ("It is Wonderful!" exclaimed the multitude.)
Now in reference to the different legislatures and senators presenting all sorts of bills that are impractical, unprofitable and good for nothing, in violation to the Constitution; I wish to say: If all of the different constituents of the different representatives of this state and of all of the other states in the union, would speak to their representatives and request of them to issue a bill that could be called, "A Real Property Improvement Exemption Bill," or "A Real Property Improvement Tax Exemption Bill;" if this would be passed in all of the states in the union, and everybody would be privileged, and all of the states, to do improvements to the real property, renovate and develop new developments; it could be called "The Real Estate Development and Improvement Tax Exemption Bill," or five years development and improvement tax exemption bill, for the taxes to be exempt on all improvements and on all developments to real estate. If it would be passed for this to be a law for five years, there are millions of persons in this country who would release their money and put their money to an exchange.
I venture to say, thousands and thousands of people would be employed, and we would solve the slum clearance proposition in our City, yea, in our states, land and country over, not only so, but by putting the money to an exchange, it would give employment to practically all of the people, all of those who are unemployed today. If all of the different individuals who have money would invest their money in improvements in the act of improving the real estate and bringing about developments in different places, different parts of the country, building up villages and towns and such as that, with the privilege of being exempt from taxation for at least five years, millions and millions of dollars would be invested immediately, and thousands and thousands of the unemployed would be employed inside of a few weeks.
Now someone may question; "How would it be beneficial to the tax improvement situation, for the betterment of the Finance Department of this country, or of the government?" It would improve it. When your dollar is put into circulation, it exchanges hands, according to statistics, according to information received, as much as one hundred and twenty-two times in a year. Now you know just about what Federal taxes you are paying on the dollar. From that you can see just how much each dollar would return to the Government by being put into circulation instead of being hoarded.
At the time that great business improvements are being put in circulation, and at the time that business is better than ever, think of one dollar exchanging hands from one hundred to one hundred and twenty-two times inside of one year! The exchange for such in redemption of Federal taxes, would be much more than what they will get if the public is not privileged to invest their money without taxation. Not only so, but in our city here, the city sales tax,, you know just about how much you get for one dollar in exchange; what you have to pay on one dollar sales tax, buying a dollar's worth. Have that dollar to exchange hands in the city here over one hundred times each, it would do it, if you would put your money into circulation, and you would see how much in cash the City Government would have in turn for the circulation of that dollar; and yet it would not be a strain on anybody. Can you not see the mystery?
Then I say, all who have representatives in Congress, speak to them as constituents, as you should to your representatives, and get them to endorse a bill commonly known by My Version. It may be given another name; it makes no difference so long as it carries the same meaning. But I say: "A Real Estate Development and Improvement Tax Exemption Bill for five years."
Now do not ask for exemption of taxes for real property that you are not improving. We should pass a law to the contrary; for every person who will not improve his property and will allow it to run down, he should have to pay taxes for allowing his property to run down. If this were done, we would have a better country, and cleaner cities and communities in which to live. Conditions would change immediately if there was a law for buildings that would become dilapidated and in violation, if they would have to pay taxes for them; and those who kept their taxes up would not have to pay any, why, that would put their money in circulation that way, but especially in the slum clearance districts.
We speak of slum clearance, spending thousands and millions of dollars for slum clearance, and yet keeping the people in the same condition. If every person would be privileged to invest his money in his real property, in the act of improving it and keeping it in grade A, number one condition and be exempt from taxes so far as improvements are concerned, and those who allow their places to get dilapidated and run-down and good for nothing, if they would have to pay taxes on such, why, there would be a change immediately.
Then I say to My friends, co-workers, participators and good wishers, those
who wish well for yourselves; if each of you would speak to your respective
representatives and tell them to pass a bill to that effect, it means millions
of dollars for those who are the small home owners. They will save millions
of dollars, and yet the Government would, by so doing; for they would cause
men to invest money where they would not otherwise, and put their money into
circulation where they had hoarded it at that particular time.
Who knows more about the Key to Success than that of the Spirit, of which I represent? Can you not see I have the KEY to the mystery to answer every problem? For I will unlock every barred and shut door, and will produce the Abundance of the Fullness for you, and for all who are concerned.
I carry in MYSELF the seed idea and the Magnetism of the Magnetic Current of GOD'S Abundance, and I attract the same and draw it to ME wheresoever I AM. This is an abstract expression. Wheresoever I AM you can see it, and its expression in itself will tell you what I AM saying is true.
When I came to this auditorium tonight, there were very limited few here, a very limited few, but it was not very long after I came before the auditorium was nearly overflowing. Now it is filled to overflow. What is it? It is because I carry in MYSELF that Magnetic Current of GOD'S Abundance, and I attract it to ME, and draw it, cause such to be an outward expression as a Message to tell you there is a reality in concentration.
By concentrating on the Abundance of the Fullness, you tend to produce the same; and these bills which I have mentioned, especially the one, it is an idea brought forth for consideration as a Sample and as an Example of My Personal Experience. Whensoever I AM exempt for any cause I AM always willing and ready to advance and spend much more.
You can see all of the different auditoriums and dining rooms in connection with the Peace Mission Movement. My followers all copy after the Fashion I have shown them by selling everything for much less than what they could get the same thing for elsewhere; they always have more business and more customers than they can accommodate. When you can get a soda-pop for three cents, you will come in at times and buy from four to five because they are only three cents. If you were obliged to pay ten cents for them, maybe you would not buy any. There is a mystery, if I must quote another for consideration, from a business point of view, in the commercial world. . . . Take Mr. Ford as a sample and as an example building the cheapest car that could be built at one time. He did not build a car costing fifteen, twenty or thirty or thirty-five thousand dollars, yet he became to be the richest man in the world.
Humanly speaking, Mr. Ford is richer than the Deusenberg manufacturer. He is richer than the Paris Special manufacturer. He is richer than Rolls-Royce manufacturer. He sold the smallest car to the common people. Because it was small and did not cost very much to purchase nor very much to run it, many thousand people purchased such cars over and over again; and his works will go on.
Now these are some little simple points for consideration. Then if you take them to consideration, how successful you can be by selling everything for much less than what others can sell the same merchandise for, and make the smallest profit possible. And yet the volume of business would increase your profits much more than if you would make a larger profit on something, on things, whichever, and would not get the volume of business.
These thoughts are well worth considering. Then I say, if you copy after the Fashion I AM showing you, each representative, or those of you as constituents of the different representatives in Congress and in this state and other states throughout the union present to them this proposition, these problems will be solved immediately, the unemployment problem.
If they get this law passed in this state and in all other states in the union, and send laws in accord with the same, in keeping with My Righteous Government Platform, you will not be obliged to have thousands and thousands, yea millions and millions of people unemployed, neither will you be obliged to have charity as you have had. For each individual will learn to be Absolutely independent and none will lack in GOD'S Abundance; for there is a full and a plenty for all. I thank you.
