FATHER DIVINE
While a multitude of thousands stood rejoicing in the Banquet Hall, giving Praises, as they usually do, to their Savior, their Deliverer, their Emancipator, and their Redeemer, a lady using crutches, pressed her way to FATHER. Her face was sad in expression, tears rolled down her cheeks, and as she managed to get very near to the Master, she made her plea, beseeching FATHER to restore her health to her, and to give her the use of her limbs, so that she could discard the crutches. She stated that she had been confined to her bed for a number of months, but she had heard about this Great FATHER DIVINE, and she felt if she could get near to HIM, and touch the Hem of His Garment, she would be healed.
Many wonderful testimonies of healings went forth. One man, who also had used crutches for years, testified of the great strength that he felt in his leg and the loosening up of the muscles and ligaments in the right leg, which had been tensed and dormant for nine years. Another testified and thanked FATHER for having restored him to life when he was in the hospital, and preparations were made for his burial, when the doctors and nurses were perplexed beyond amazement at his recovery, and numerous other testimonies of like importance came forth; but everyone of these individuals, who had gotten the victory over their adversities, rejoiced with great joy, at the knowledge of the fact that GOD, their FATHER, had delivered them from the hands of the enemies, and had saved them for this day; hence, the testimony of the sister afore mentioned, was somewhat a contrast to the others, although they had witnessed and experienced similar experiences to this particular individual, but the difference was, the others had found their Redeemer, and this dear soul, was seeking to find HIM.
However, we rejoiced for the initial step that was made by the individual in coming to the Fountain; not only a Fountain of Perpetual Youth, but the Fountain of Life, where all sorrows, griefs, aches and pains can be buried for evermore, for this is the land of pure delight; this is the Golden Shore.
After the testimony of the crippled sister, FATHER proclaimed , "Good Health, Good Will, and a Good Appetite for everybody." These blessings can be had for every individual. GOD has placed them within the reach of all, but they must comply with the Law of CHRIST; hence, if the nations of the earth would be willing to surrender their mortal ways, and submit themselves unto GOD, they too, would be the Inheritors of GOD'S Riches, and they would consciously know that CHRIST is rich and all they need, for none would lack in GOD'S Abundance, for there is a-full and a-plenty for all, and to spare. FATHER showed so plainly in His Message to us, the cause and effect of sickness, and how we can produce well, healthy and happy bodies in which we can manifest the goodness and Glories of GOD. HE pointed out just how bodies can become to be the Personification of negation or Positiveness, as they are but the manifestations or the outward expressions of the mind, or the condition thereof. If these Words of FATHER'S are adhered to, and put into practice, GOD will glorify HIMSELF in thee, and more of His Beauty will be seen in the lives of men. Just before the Message the following Song was sung, then we listened attentively while FATHER spoke:
'If you live right, your health belongs to you. If you live right, your health belongs to you. If you live right, your health belongs to you. Your health belongs to you.
If you talk right, your health belongs to you. If you talk right, your health belongs to you. If you talk right, your health belongs to you. Your health belongs to you.
If you sing right, your health belongs to you, etc.
If you think right, your health belongs to you, etc.'
PEACE EVERYBODY! ("Peace, FATHER," joyfully responded the multitude.) Good Health, Good Will and a Good Appetite for everybody. These are the Blessings I AM freely giving to those who will accept them, and come to this recognition, and bring their bodies into subjection. This little thought I put forth, "If you live right, your health belongs to you." Every one of you, yea, even those who are not near, as far as the ship have ever sailed the ocean, and a foot has ever trod the soil, if you Live Right, and Do Right, Think Right and Be Right, your Health belongs to you.
Good Health and a Good Will for everybody, and a Good Appetite; these have been spoken into existence. If you are receptive Mentally and Spiritually, you will be receptive physically. If you are receptive mentally, and if you will Dial In on the Fundamental, your mentalities will be partakers of these expressions; hence, they are partakers of the Characteristics of your Savior. Being partakers of My Words, My Expressions and My Sayings, you are partakers of My Characteristics, My Love and My Mind. If you are partakers of these Qualities mentally -- you will be Producers of them physically, as you declare them in your consciousness. That is the great Mystery. You are the manifesters of your conscious expression. You consciously conceive ideas and opinions, and you manifest these ideas and opinions in deeds and in actions, and express them in your physical system.
Sickness and diseases for the physical body, with all of your afflictions, such come only through by negative thinking and by negative deeds, and by negative actions. Your bodies become to be the personification of negation and negativeness, as your bodies can become to be personification of Positiveness and the Perfect and True. These are just as operative for you as they were for Peter, James and John, to give them the Victory over adverse conditions, to give them the Victory over limitations, to give them the Victory, whereby they could receive their freedom, when cast in prison, etc..
These were some outward expressions that were manifested when they were handicapped by the adversary. GOD gave them the Victory and manifested it in their personal bodily forms, to secure you and others, even up until this present time, you can and will be victorious if you will be victorious in your thoughts, deeds and actions. Get the Victory mentally, get the Victory Spiritually, get the Victory in your mental realm, and on the Spiritual plane; you will have the Victory also in your physical surroundings, and over every adverse condition.
This is the great work of CHRIST your Savior, the Great Redeemer. That is why CHRIST in the name of Jesus is called the Redeemer, because He redeems man from the adverse and undesirable conditions in which man through negative thinking, has placed himself. It is indeed wonderful! Delivering you and freeing you completely, giving you your real emancipation, giving you the Victory over sickness and diseases, giving you the Victory over your afflictions, but remember, your afflictions first came through negative thinking, through the mental realm, they entered your systems, and your physical body produced it and manifested it; therefore, if you are receptive to the negative, why not submit your minds, and bring your bodies into subjection to the Positive?
The Positive is just as operative and it just as productive as the negative. The Positive can produce and bring into your experiences, the different expressions of good that will compete with every negative expression, that the negative produces and brings forth to fruition. We are looking on the Positive side of Life, knowing these Positive thoughts that I AM producing for you, and increasing in your consideration, are for the purpose of bringing to mankind's conscious realization, the conscious conviction and recognition of GOD'S Presence, with all of His Goodness and Mercy. ("Truly wonderful!" assured the people.)
The Goodness of GOD is manifested the same as the wickedness or evil of the negative, that which is termed the d-v-l. If that which is termed the d-v-l, by the Religions, can be produced and brought into expression in people, how much greater should it be recognized, and should it put forth into expression, the Goodness and Mercy and Love of the Almighty! The two extreme opposites. I will be one or the other. I will produce it manifestly Universally, and cause one or the other to be manifest as a reality to ME. It is your privilege to do the same. These thoughts are well worth considering. When you live in this recognition, when you are thinking Positive thoughts, casting out of your consciousness all of the negative preconceived ideas and opinions, those tendencies that keep you unhappy, doubtful and fearful, every expression that will tend to cause you to express fear, produce fear or reflect fear in words, deeds or actions, such a tendency or conceived idea or opinion, should be cast out of your consciousness.
One has said, "Let me not have fear." If you will accept of ME, you will not have fear. GOD is Perfect Love.
'Perfect Love casts out fear.'
So long as you love yourself and will contend for some selfish right, seeking
selfish gain through graft and greed, it is a matter of impossibility for you
to love ME. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot love two masters. You love
one and hate the other. Now this is true, whether you are conscious of it or
not. It is indeed wonderful! It is such a wonderful privilege to live in this
recognition where the very Spirit of GOD'S Presence is sufficient and will manifest
it to you, that HE in you, will give you the Victory over adverse conditions,
and living according to His Teaching.
I heard you say, and the majority of you have sung:
'I am going with FATHER all the way.'
I have heard you say and you also sang,
'Where HE leads me, I will follow.'
I have endeavored to lead you in the Positive way of expression, from every angle,
even through the world of commercialism I condescended to express or reflect
My Thoughts through this world of expression for your consideration, getting
down on the material plane, not seeking My Own Gain, but seeking the good of
others. If you too, as well as I, would do according to My Instructions, then
and there, you would be following ME:
'Where HE leads me, I will follow. I'll go with HIM, with HIM, all the way.'
Cast out of your systems all tendencies of graft and greed. Such is the destruction
of the world; such has caused practically all of the chaos that is now existing
among the people. If you will cast out those tendencies out of your systems,
and be partakers of My Characteristics whole-heartedly, by DENYING yourselves,
GOD will Abundantly Bless you; you will not have an occasion to falter nor fear.
'Perfect Love casteth out fear.'
It is essential for you to cast out of your system all of those negative characteristics
and human fancies, pleasures and their tendencies. Live in the conscious recognition
of GOD'S Presence as your Helper and your Protection.
Do not be fearful, thinking you must needs do something in a grafting way for a dollar or a cent.
'CHRIST is rich and all you need.'
If you trust ME, I will trust you, but if you cannot trust GOD, GOD cannot trust
you. ("So wonderful!" remarked the hearers.)
These are facts and figures too stout to be DENIED. As long as you have a conceived idea in you of expressing, not willing to serve GOD with all of your hearts, souls and minds, there is a lack of FAITH, and a lack of LOVE. It is indeed wonderful! When you are willing and ready to make a complete whole-hearted, unconditional surrender, then and there, GOD is ready for you. It is indeed wonderful!
'TRUST and OBEY!'
I mention these thoughts for your consideration. There have been many who have
said and sung: "I am going with FATHER all the way." Going with ME,
does not merely mean singing and shouting alone, but going with ME, means, to
go in My Way, in My Ideas and in My Opinions, and leave yours behind. As I was
saying the other day, how can a person say they are following ME, when I AM endeavoring
to do everything, even from a commercial point of view, for consideration, for
the good of you, and for the people, trying to cut the cost living as much as
possible in any way I can put an issue through that will help the common people
collectively? That is what I AM doing; not seeking the gain of a penny for Myself,
nevertheless, endeavoring to do everything I can to help the people.
If you are following ME, you will do the same. That's what I AM talking about. I drew for a Sample and for an Example the other day, as was in expression or consideration, the taking of My Picture, selling My Photograph from time to time among the different individuals; some selling them for a dollar each, and paying thirty-five cents. Is that following ME? ("It's wonderful, LORD!" emphasized the Faithful Ones.) How many have I ever sold like that? It would be My Privilege to sell fifteen millions for a dollar a-piece. All of you would buy one from ME. ("Gladly, FATHER," remarked a myriad of voices.) It is indeed wonderful! All of My Believers would willingly and readily pay a dollar for one from ME, if I would say so. It is indeed wonderful! But not so! I did not and do not say it. If you are following ME, you will copy after My Fashion. You will not go out trying to profiteer or racketeer. Your thought and your mind will be, and would be for the good of mankind to help someone else and not only self. That is what I AM talking about. Following ME. If you wish to follow ME, copy after the Fashion I AM showing you on the material plane, as a man among men; copy after this Fashion that I have shown them. It is wonderful! Endeavor to put your energies and your brawnies to work; put them into operation, that they might work for the common good of the nations; not for the good of self alone, but for the common good of all mankind.
This is a slight sketch and a reflection of a percent of a fraction of a grain of MY MISSION on earth among men, that you might copy after the Fashion that I have shown them. It is indeed wonderful! I showed you the way, as I have shown someone else; the same identical expression is for you to produce and manifest by living according to this Teaching, and copying after this Fashion. It is indeed wonderful! That is why I say, DON'T SAY IT UNLESS YOU MEAN IT!" If each of you today were -- if you all were following ME in reality, the world would be manifestedly changed, even as it is changed to some degree, but it would be universally manifestly changed, and that would be immediately.
When those Pictures were brought to consideration, as I afore said, the photographer said, they would cost a dollar each, for less than a hundred, and one hundred or more for thirty-five dollars a hundred -- two hundred or more, around twenty- five dollars a hundred. My Thought ran firstly to the public; not at all to Myself. I said, I want the public, those who desired to have My Picture, to get it for as small a price as possible, for it is not necessary anyway, but as they will have it, I said, "Let them get it at a small price. They need the money to pay rent, buy food to eat for the sustenance of the body, something that is practical and necessary." It is indeed wonderful! To pay their honest debts, etc.. Then I said, "Well, I will have the Secretary to take the orders for the Pictures, not to sell one," I said, "I do not want you to sell a Picture; take the order and have them (the people) to give you twenty-five cents, to send for the Picture. You send for them and get two hundred every time, and they will get them for twenty-five cents each.
Now this is the Gospel I AM preaching this morning. This is the real Gospel to this commercial age, for these people, in this dispensation, who are functioning on the commercial plane, that they might see how to live, act and see and do; that they might not be carried away into the love of money, thinking it is the Love of GOD. BABYLON IS FALLING! All of the merchants have been made drunk. They are debauched on the wrath of her fornication, for they are speculating and grafting and racketeering on the wine of wrath of her fornication. ("Oh, it's wonderful!" pronounced the hearers.)
I have called your attention to this, that you might see and know the real Gospel for you is to cast out of your systems all GRAFTING and RACKETEERING and SPECULATING and PROFITEERING characteristics, and live in the Ever Presence of GOD, with love for one another. If this is accomplished in you, then and there, you will have the VICTORY; you will no longer have an occasion to fret nor worry, neither to falter nor fear; for GOD Himself will be with thee, and will be your Refuge and your Strength and none can hurt nor harm.
I know some may say within themselves, I would like to hear FATHER talk on a different subject; nevertheless, I feel it is best to stress it, until I shall have stamped My View in your consciousness, that you might no longer have the love of money, but rather the Love of GOD. In that, I AM preaching, and not only preaching, but I AM casting out d-v-ls, for the love of money is the ROOT of evil; not only the ROOT of it, but it is the ROOT of all evil. By casting it out of your consciousness, it will soon be out of your system, and the adverse conditions of your physical bodily forms will wane of their own abnormal weight. When you shall have gotten at the cause, and cast it out, the effect will wane, and disappear into its nothingness. The love of money, being the Root of all evil, Grafting and Racketeering will continue to exist in your consciousness, so long as you live in this expression of seeking through dishonest means and ways, of getting finances.
Copy after the Fashion I have shown you. If you are following ME, then do as I AM doing; yea, better, do even as I have done. The time has been when I would not even touch a penny of money, if you would have given ME a million dollars to touch it with these Hands. ("Bless Your dear Name!" devotedly shouted the Beloved Ones.) The Sonship Degree's Calling, especially your calling in the Sonship Degree, will be to make your complete sacrifice, a self-denial, whole-heartedly, of all such GRAFT and GREED and the Love of money, as Jesus did when He went in the Temple, and overthrew the table of money changers. He spake concerning the Temple of his Body. I AM calling your attention to that Mystery once again for consideration.
The Racketeering, Grafting and Profiteering Spirit was handed down through the ages, through them, on those who were supposed His ancestors, and it happened to be in His system, by nature, by prenatal influences. Why naturally, after the manner of the flesh, Jesus would have been a Jew, He would have been a great Merchant, Racketeer, Speculator, Profiteer, Grafter, etc.. These were the Characteristics He cast out of the Temple, not merely men, as man would suppose. The parable was concerning the things that were happening around about Jerusalem; but better known in the true interpretation of it, was the characteristics that had been conceived in the Jewish nationality, for speculating, grafting and racketeering. For CHRIST to be CHRIST and not man, and not a Jew or any other nationality, it was essential for Him to cast out those characteristics. He cast out all of those speculating and racketeering and grafting and profiteering characteristics, for GOD had even spoken of it, through the mouth of Ezekiel, the 18th chapter, and said:
'If you have not eaten upon the mountain, if you have not spoiled your neighbor's wife, if you have walked in My Statutes, and have kept My Sayings, nor have not taken increase nor usury, you shall surely live.'
Usury has been something handed down through the ages. Man would even loan money, and would get more interest than they should legally, don't you see?
'If you have not taken increase, nor usury," HE said, "you shall surely live.'
When Jesus came seven hundred years, or nearly seven hundred years afterward,
He fulfilled the part where He brought into His Experience, a Perfect CHARACTERISTIC,
a perfect LIFE, manifesting the perfect PERSON, that would not take increase
nor usury, manifesting one that would not eat upon the mountain, would not spoil
your neighbor's wife, would not take increase nor usury, nor do any of those
abominations, but would express the LIFE of GOD to the children of this people.
He came as a Sample and as an Example. "If you do not take these things," HE
said, "you shall surely live, and not die." The 32nd verse of the 18th
chapter of Ezekiel says, of which I AM now quoting:
'For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dies, wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.'
GOD has never had pleasure in the death of him that dies. GOD glories in the living, and not in the dead, for said HE the same, but in a few different words.
'GOD is a GOD of the living and not a GOD of the dead.'
Hence, I say, if you will get out of your systems, by getting it out of your
consciousness, all Grafting and Racketeering and all of the love of money, be
willing to trust GOD whole-heartedly, and willingly serve HIM, GOD will abundantly
Bless you, and you will Love HIM. That is the way you will Love HIM. Some of
you say, "FATHER, let me love YOU more!" You can love HIM more by getting
all of those detestable characteristics out of your consciousness and out and
your attentions will be directed in the Positive direction, and you can love
HIM whole-heartedly.
That is the Mystery: BELIEVE IT, BE IT and LIVE IT and others will SEE IT; they too, will be partakers of it, as you LIVE IT and PRODUCE IT and express it. FOLLOW after ME in the Positive direction. If there be any negativeness in your conception concerning ME, follow not after the negative, but the POSITIVE. It is indeed wonderful! The very Spirit of this Movement is an asset to the universe, to morality; not only to the morality, but to the whole human race of humanity. It is an asset to humanity, as the inhabitants of the earth. They will copy after this fashion; they will find Peace, and JOY and HAPPINESS. They will find Wealth, Success and Prosperity. Every good and desirable Blessing will be at their disposal, the same as it is with us, these few here, who have gathered. As I was saying, if I say, I want to see you get My Picture for twenty-five cents, and I AM not taking a penny of it, if you are following ME, then you do the same. Not that is, if you were permitted to take My Picture or distribute My Picture. Be the same and do the same, if you are following ME.
That is not only in reference to the Picture, but in all things. Try to put things down in the reach of the other fellow. Humanly speaking, that is common business. Humanly speaking, that is common judgment; humanly speaking, that would and will meet with the competitors. It has been proven according to the statistics of the wealthy people in our present day, the richest man in the world is the man that sold the cheapest car at one time. The richest man in the world is not the man that built the Rolls- Royce, neither the Paris Special, the Mercedes, none of those twenty or thirty thousand dollar cars. That is why they could not be the richest, because they did not help the poor people. It is indeed wonderful! ("Truly wonderful!" affirmed many voices.)
It is common business judgment to put everything down within the reach of the public. Truly might have a composition said in Christendom, speaking concerning Jesus as the Master of the Flock,
'Feed My Lambs,'
says CHRIST the Shepherd; put the food within their reach,"
if you will place the food within the reach of the people, they can be a Blessing to you, and you can be a blessing to them. That is common business judgment; therefore, do not try to get more than what is due you or what someone else is getting, when you are in business. Sell at the smallest margin of profit, possible -- try to see how small you can get out of it, not how much, but see what a small margin of profit you can get out of your business, and still continue. It is indeed wonderful! By so doing, you will prove yourselves to be Blessers of the people, and Blessings to yourselves. "He that giveth unto the poor, lendeth unto the Lord; that which he giveth, will HE pay him again."
When GOD pays or repays, HE pays you back at least thirty to sixty to a hundredfold more. Wall Street may give as much as 15 percent, but where I AM drawing My Source of Supply from, I AM getting ten thousand percent. Ten thousand percent, is a hundredfold more. One hundred times as much is ten thousand percent. For every one dollar, I will get one hundred dollars; for every one hundred dollars, I will get ten thousand dollars. I will not go further, for you may not, or maybe, you cannot enumerate it. ("Oh it's wonderful!" acclaimed the hearers.) It is indeed wonderful!
Just think of it! For one penny, I will get one dollar, and for one dollar, one hundred dollars, and for one hundred dollars, ten thousand dollars. This is the Promise of the Great, not national, and not merely an international, but the Great Infinite STOCK EXCHANGE PROPRIETOR. (Applause)
'No man hath forsaken all of these things," said He," lest he gain an hundredfold more;'
not in Heaven, not in the other world, not on the other plane, but
'in this present world; and in the world to come, LIFE EVERLASTING.'
Now who can count with ME? Do as I have told you, and you as well as I, will
be investors in this Great INFINITE STOCK EXCHANGE; the PRESIDENT and CHAIRMAN
is CHRIST your LORD and SAVIOR.
In man's way, all of the means of exchange, I usually close all their ways; will not allow to come in their way. Their ways are limited. The source of their supplies is limited. It is limited, but the SUPPLY that I AM drawing from, is LIMITLESS. It is inexhaustible. You can plainly see, the more they draw from it, the more I have to give them; feeding thousands and thousands daily, and we will soon be feeding millions daily, because it is coming, it is flowing from the inexhaustible SUPPLY.
If it were coming from a millionaire, it would be limited. Their resources can exhaust, but this of which we are drawing from, is an INEXHAUSTIBLE SUPPLY. We know it is a matter of impossibility for it to DIMINISH. It is indeed wonderful! ("Truly wonderful!" bespoke the people.)
Just live in this recognition. Raise your consciousness to contact the CHRIST Consciousness, and raise your vibrations high enough in the conscious recognition and the realization of the Presence of GOD. When you become to be conscious of GOD'S Presence, you will be partakers of His Characteristics and of His Nature. You will be reflectors and manifesters and the Blessings from the LIMITLESS SOURCE of SUPPLY will be flowing -- oh, so freely for you and for all. I thank you.
