'And I saw an Angel come down from Heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

These three verses from Saint John the Divine's twentieth Chapter of Revelation
acclaim the New Millennium with flowery, apocalyptic fanfare. The Planet has
struggled through the previous Millennium with tortuous, agonizing pain, because
of its self destructive behavior. Now, the Planet has wistfully turned its
face, with naive Hope, to the New Year 2000, expecting that somehow, things
will be better.
Indeed, if the New Millennium lives up to what is predicted for it, "things" will be better. The very Name, "Millennium," has a silvery ring, like a town crier's bell, proclaiming that the coming year will usher in an Ideal, Peaceful, Utopian Era an Era of Joy, Serenity, Prosperity and Justice.
But it will be even better than that. The world will realize that the Second Coming of the Living CHRIST is a Reality. HE is here among the children of men, teaching them how to love each other and showing them how to live, by the precious Example of His Own Life.
In this Period, Holiness will prevail in the Earth, during which CHRIST will raise the chosen ones from the curse of the mortal, Adamic state of consciousness into the CHRIST Consciousness. They will participate with HIM in His Triumphant, Thousand Year Reign over the Planet. The wicked will be annihilated, and Heaven and Earth will be renewed.
In this New Year of 2000, the world is tormented and terrorized by photographic instances of vice and crime too numerous and frightful to list here, and these unspeakable transgressions provoke screaming Headlines in the Media, to the near exclusion of worthy events.
But behind this dirty Media screen are millions of people of many religious Faiths and nonreligious Societies who love and reverence GOD, no matter what Name they call HIM by. These are the Jewels in the Crown that rests on GOD'S Brow. These are the real Backbone of Society. These are the Ransom for the world who, in the Millennium, will outweigh the evil doers in the Day of Reckoning.
In the Wirthlin Report of 1999, it is stated that 92% of all Americans more than nine out of ten believe in One, All Powerful GOD. And 88% of them believe in Miracles. Astonishingly, 84% believe in Angels, and what is the most eloquent and compelling is the fact that 80% believe in Salvation through Jesus! These figures are quoted in a small book distributed by the Heritage Foundation to the Candidates for office in this election year, to counteract the hostility that modern liberals, such as Jane Fonda and Ted Kennedy, hold toward religion and "The Good Life."
A scientist, Svend Roasted, in 1945, six days after the Atomic Bomb fell, realized that the explosion of the Bomb the Splitting of the Atom had thereby unleashed a Great Power. He publicly spoke these thoughts:
"The Truth of Being, the Truth of that Almighty Power, greater than man, that Infinite Power within which man lives, moves and has his Eternal Being in Divine Security, . . . that Power is the Power of The New Age the Power because of which all things shall become new. It is the Power Of The Universe."
Note: There is a song in the Peace Mission concerning "The Power Of The Universe." The words are: "When this Faith of FATHER DIVINE is activated, it is Pure Love and this Love being Life, is the actual Physical Power of the Universe."
Mr. Roasted continued:
"We who accept this Power, we who understand this Power, we who live our lives inseparably in that Power, and because of that Power are the Pioneers in the Life of the New Age. We are the ones who must exemplify its Nature of Unification, of Equal Relationship to all things. We are the ones who must become the Beacon Light at the Dawn of man's Awakening. . . .
"We may say that the Day on which the Atom Bomb fell is the Day on which we passed from the OLD AGE into the NEW AGE the Day on which the old became obsolete and we had to See change our minds and adjust our thinking to conform with something altogether NEW. What had been practicable yesterday had become completely outmoded, and could not be used and would not fit into the pattern of Today." New Day, December 27, 1975, pp. 14-17
Mr. Roasted's "Pioneers" are the Jewels in GOD'S Crown the Backbone of Society the Ransom for the world. They have "changed their minds" and "adjusted their thinking" to be in harmony with the rhythm and dynamics of The New Age. They live their lives by the "Power Of The Universe."
Dropping of the Atom Bomb in 1945 was not in isolation. Two other equally astounding happenings occurred at about the same time. Technicians at the University of Pennsylvania invented the Computer in the same year, unleashing another Power Computer Power that could and did change civilization as the splitting of the Atom did.
The other event came in 1946. It was the Spiritual Marriage of FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE the Marriage of the Lamb and the Bride (Revelation 19:7-9) for the purpose of Proclaiming, Establishing and Glorifying Holiness and Virtue, Honesty, Competence and Truth on the earth plane, in fulfillment of the Scripture.
This Marriage released yet another Power the Power of Virtue and Holiness. Evidence of this Power is seen in the chaste lives of FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE and also as it is reflected in the pure lives of Their Followers. GOD was in the Land, spiritualizing material things and materializing spiritual things, marking the end of man's world and the end of the ascendancy of evil. Human nature is being changed into Divine Nature, and as Saint John declared in Revelation 11:15,
'The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.'
Pursuant to the advent of these three Miracles came a flood of new, unbelievable technological and medical advances which blow the mind. The most incredible feat was Neil Armstrong setting foot on the moon and returning to earth to report on his trip a trip akin to a fairy tale.
After the original Computer which was so large it occupied several rooms came smaller and smaller computers, down to a size which can be held in one hand. In addition, telephones came off the desks and walls into the hands of a walking or riding person. And the next development, already in the experimental stage, is a hand held instrument that combines all the features of the Telephone and the Computer in one small case.
Many people have the uneasy feeling that the world is headed for a catastrophic Doomsday or Judgment Day at some point in time, in connection with the Millennium. The following is an excerpt from an interview given by FATHER DIVINE to a Reverend Charles Boyer. The excerpt begins with Rev. Boyer speaking.
Rev. Boyer: There is something unpleasant to occur, isn't there, FATHER? When the Gospel has reached every nation, isn't it written that then shall the end come?
FATHER: Well, I may not place the same construction on that Gospel quotation as many others do, with respect to the End. Enoch walked and talked with GOD until he was not in other words, until he was no more, for GOD took him. So I believe the end does not mean the destruction of all the earth, as has been considered by many. We have been praying for these nineteen hundred years, through all Christendom, asking GOD even in the simple LORD'S Prayer,
'Let Thy Kingdom come and Thy Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!'
Rev. Boyer: Yes.
FATHER: The end of self, the end of savagery, the end of inhumanity, the end of brutality that's what we mean to bring an END to but not to the material earth upon which we live, for it is written:
'Heaven and earth shall pass away, but the Words of our GOD stand firm forever!'
Rev. Boyer: Stand firm forever yes.
FATHER: So we don't need to worry about the End coming, because I know it will be an end to all Self, and to all Folly, and an end to Warfare and Bloodshed! Reverend, I expect to see it Personally, with the continued germination of this Truth, of Love, and of Peace the Earth even as I have it here under My Personal Jurisdiction!
Rev. Boyer: (happily) YOU expect to see it Personally?
FATHER: That's right!
Rev. Boyer: That's Wonderful!
FATHER: We don't fight! No warfare and no bloodshed! And we are contagionizing those with whom we come in contact, with the same Peace and Unity. Therefore, the end of Self is coming nearer and nearer, in My Opinion! It is Wonderful!
Rev. Boyer: (relieved) Oh, that is Wonderful! It is encouraging to know.
FATHER: So fret not yourself be- cause of the workers of iniquity, for they are the ones that shall be cut off. The wicked shall be cut off, but the Meek shall inherit the earth, and the Righteous shall dwell in the Land forever. It is Wonderful! . . .
Rev. Boyer: Will that same condition hold good during the Millennium, FATHER?
FATHER: (with a smile) That IS the Millennium!
Rev. Boyer: That is the Millennium?
FATHER: When all men shall have come to that place in Consciousness, and shall have been Purified!

The Christian World is looking for the Second Coming of CHRIST in the Year 2000, but GOD cut the time short, that there might be some flesh saved. HE came in the Fathership Degree of expression, in the Body of FATHER DIVINE!
On January 24, 1950, HE said,
"I recall some said fifty years ago, 'FATHER DIVINE, YOU are fifty years ahead of Your Time.' Well now, the thing that I advocated along then is being fulfilled now."
On July 8, 1937, FATHER said,
". . . a scientific understanding has been lifted Spiritually and Mentally above your present Light of Civilization. That is why men of science declare I AM fifty years ahead of time. They think it is not time yet for all nations, languages, tongues and peoples to be unified together in reality."
Again, HE said on March 27, 1945,
"As it was declared many years ago, I came fifty years ahead of time. Well, I AM here to get things right before the time. You have never heard of so much riches in Virtue, in Brotherhood, in Honesty, and in Peace, such as the world cannot produce, and such as you could not have imagined would have been on the earth-plane."
GOD condescended to come and set up His Kingdom in the form of the FATHER DIVINE International Peace Mission Movement ahead of the year 2000, when so much destruction is in evidence, as a result of man's disobedience to GOD'S Law. And we never heard of so much Virtue, Brotherhood, Honesty, and Peace until we heard of FATHER DIVINE and the Peace Mission Movement. .
FATHER DIVINE said:
"Because it is a New Dispensation, it automatically changes men, it automatically changes systems, it automatically changes customs and rules and regulations. Because of the change in the Dispensation, it causes a New Inspiration, a New Spiritual Awakening to take place in the Consciousness of Humanity, and Civilization, from that angle of expression, will make its advances by the Spirit, as it is unfolding in a deeper unfoldment of this Dispensation from that of A.D.
"It has been established and it must be reckoned, and those who are not in the reckoning will not be counted in anything else, for this is the Dispensation in which the Latter Day reckoning must be established and considered and recognized universally, for the Founder of this Dispensation and the Creator of it is GOD, Who liveth forever and forever!
"Oh, how glorious it is to realize it! You see, as it is under My Personal Jurisdiction, and as it is wheresoever I AM functioning, there is a different environment altogether. Mankind thinks differently, they feel different, because of the New Dispensation that has actually been created by the Creator of all Dispensations!"

When the time had fully come for the New Dispensation to come into manifestation, people throughout the world were awakened into the realization that FATHER DIVINE is GOD on earth with us, and volitionally, willingly and without looking back, they left their old way of thinking, believing and living, and they embraced the New Values required to live in the Peace Mission and under the Personal Jurisdiction of FATHER DIVINE.
It was in reality to them a New Heaven and a New Earth where dwelleth Righteousness, Justice and Truth. Over that period of time when people came from many nations, many different social and political backgrounds, they were dissolved in the Unity of FATHER DIVINE'S Mind, Spirit, Plan and Purpose.
This pleased GOD and HE chose to marry His Church to make legal the Standard of Living that had been created by the conviction "I Know YOU Are GOD." HE searched the world over and HE found One that could represent His Church, and through whom HE could magnify and universalize the Virtue, Brotherhood, Honesty and Peace that must be reincarnated and produced in the New Dispensation in order that Mankind might come into possession of their Divine Inheritance. HE married HER on April 29th, 1946. Saint John wrote in the twenty first chapter of Revelation:
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.
FATHER DIVINE commented thuswise on the New Dispensation:
"For this cause, we do rejoice and we are happy to say today as well as all other days but as the Commemoration of the Marriage of the Bride to the Lamb on the twenty ninth day of April, nine- teen hundred and forty six, was the beginning of a New Era such as man had not comprehended, but yet the Bible predicted and explained it. They could not understand it because they thought all of the predictions and declarations and proverbs were merely suppositionally discerned, and could be only seen from the imaginary realm.
"But oh, how glorious it was when GOD made HIMSELF Flesh, as said the Gospel of CHRIST, and dwelt among us or dwelleth among us and we beheld His Glory as that of the Only Begotten of the FATHER, full of Grace and of Truth.
"When GOD made HIMSELF Flesh, HE was beginning a New Dispensation that would come in the fulfillment of it as in the making! GOD was bringing about the Universal Brotherhood of Man by HIMSELF being on earth in the likeness of them and having come in the flesh for sin, to condemn sin in the flesh." New Day, March 5, 1977, p.1
FATHER DIVINE expressed this thought as far back as 1940, when HE remarked that the Body was sacrificed for this Dispensation, and that there "must be a Memorial as a Living Reality, as the expression and the unfoldment and the establishment of a New Dispensation."
Five years before Mr. Roasted stated that people must change their minds, FATHER DIVINE said:
"Because by the change of Nature the Nature of Humanity the change of their minds and their disposition, the change of their character and their characteristics, they become to be New Creatures. Therefore, it is a great change, for this is as much a change from the Dispensation in which you have been living as the Dispensation 'A.D.' as the Dispensation 'B.C..' There was a change, and even the Governmental Affairs changed because GOD was among men.
FATHER continued:
"Because it is a New Dispensation, it automatically changes men it automatically changes systems it automatically changes customs and rules and regulations. Because of the change in the Dispensation, it causes a New Dispensation and a New Spiritual Awakening to take place in the Consciousness of Humanity, and Civilization, from that angle of expression, will make its advances by the Spirit as it is unfolding in a deeper unfoldment of this Dispensation from that of 'A.D.'"
