Learning about FATHER DIVINE and the Peace Mission is an important part
of the course taught Students of Religion Attending the University of Pennsylvania
and also at Cabrini College

Dr. Leonard Primiano is a professor of American Religion in the Department of Religion at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and at Cabrini College in Radnor, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

MOTHER DIVINE Speaking to a Work Group of about 20 from Cabrini College.

He has brought some of his classes to dine in the Keyflower Dining Room at the Divine Tracy Hotel. Dr. Primiano wanted his students to experience a living Religion and to know about a Religion that is International and which has its headquarters and its Founder right here in Philadelphia. After partaking of a nutritionally healthy meal in the wonderful atmosphere created by followers adhering to FATHER DIVINE'S Modest Code, they had the privilege of hearing MOTHER DIVINE speak to them.

In appreciation to MOTHER DIVINE for speaking to the students, Dr. Primiano wrote MOTHER the following:

'I want to thank you again for speaking to my students. This was a particularly serious class of Penn graduate students, and they greatly appreciated hearing and interacting with you, as well as with the brothers and sisters at the Divine Tracy and the Keyflower Dining Room. I appreciated the hospitality we received, and found your remarks wonderfully illuminating about FATHER DIVINE and the Peace Mission.'

MOTHER DIVINE Speaks At Cabrini College

On March 28th of this year, (2000) MOTHER DIVINE accepted the invitation from Dr. Primiano to speak to his American Religion Class at Cabrini College and also the invitation from the faculty to have luncheon with them prior to the lecture.

Cabrini College, located at about a ten minute drive from Woodmont, is a private Catholic college that is proud of its diverse student body; it accepts students of all denominations. It is sponsored by the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart and is named for that institution's founder, St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, the first United States citizen to be canonized. Mother Cabrini's commitment to service to others is a part of many of the College's programs.

As MOTHER DIVINE arrived at 1:30 PM for the luncheon, she was met in the Great Hall of the mansion by a welcoming committee of several students and members of the faculty. She was then escorted into an adjoining room where an elaborate luncheon buffet had been spread. Dr. Antoinette Iadarola, President of Cabrini College, along with Dr. Leonard Primiano and nine other members of the faculty and five students joined in this fine gesture in appreciation of MOTHER DIVINE'S Presence at the college.

The class began at 3:10 p.m., before which a very informative tour was taken of the building that houses the President's office, business offices and the convent. As the weather did not permit, the walking tour of the campus Dr. Primiano had planned was canceled.

MOTHER DIVINE was introduced to the class of about thirty boys and girls. They listened very attentively as SHE spoke for over an hour. At the conclusion SHE answered questions for about twenty minutes. As the students had read the book, The Peace Mission Movement by MOTHER DIVINE as well as other writings by different authors, MOTHER DIVINE chose not to explain further the Peace Mission Movement and the Teaching of FATHER DIVINE from Her point of view, but rather to relate Her Personal experience in being introduced to FATHER DIVINE and Her reasons for following HIM and the importance of everyone living the virtuous Life of CHRIST in order for civilization to be saved in this day and time.

Students Question MOTHER DIVINE

At the question and answer period held after MOTHER DIVINE spoke, the first question was

'What is FATHER DIVINE'S greatest accomplishment?'
MOTHER DIVINE replied
'The great healing that the people received from the fear of lacks and wants and limitations. FATHER DIVINE taught the abundance!'

Another student asked about the future of the Peace Mission Movement. MOTHER DIVINE said that SHE sees it going on, because SHE sees a great change as we come into the year 2000.

'It's a New Dispensation. There will be a change in values. There will be a change in laws, and there will be a change in consciousness. That to ME would be the Peace Mission, the future of mankind on earth.'

In response to the question about what happened when MOTHER DIVINE met FATHER DIVINE for the first time, SHE said,

'It was like I had always been known to HIM.'

The question about the reincarnation of Peninnah, the first Mother Divine, was brought up. MOTHER DIVINE stated that Peninnah wanted to be reincarnated in a Rosebud's body, and she held on to that wish.

'I really did have a definite experience, that no doubt was, when her spirit was reincarnated in this Body.'

In further discussion, MOTHER DIVINE stated that SHE was sure FATHER DIVINE was much in accord with what Martin Luther King did.

MOTHER DIVINE was asked what SHE thought of Ross Perot.

'I have the greatest respect for Ross Perot. He really gives the people a voice. He gives us Leadership. When I heard Ross Perot, he was saying the things I wanted to hear.'

After Her appearance at Cabrini, MOTHER DIVINE talked about how SHE felt the students received Her Message. SHE thought they were very respectful. They were open, and they listened and tried to understand what SHE was endeavoring to impart to them. SHE felt the experience distinctly showed how valuable courses on various religions are for college level students, because it does so much to eliminate bigotry and prejudice in our society.

The Cabrini College newspaper reported on the visit of MOTHER DIVINE to the Campus in very complimentary language. The paper stated that it was one of the highlights of the school year for the students.
