Woodmont has served as a country estate where FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE and Their staff could relax. It also has served as a retreat for the Consecrated co-workers from the other Churches and Connections of the Peace Mission. It is the Spiritual Center of the entire International Peace Mission Movement. Since 1953, followers have made pilgrimages to Woodmont whenever possible and as often as they can from wherever they are in the world, especially to celebrate the Anniversary of its consecration and dedication as the Mount of the House of the LORD, and the Marriage Anniversary of FATHER and MOTHER DIVINE.
