"We have had a great decrease in the amount of violation of law,
not only in Harlem but all over the City,
Particularly in those sections where the Righteous Government Platform is established."

"You read in the newspapers a few weeks ago that one of my associates on the Magistrate's Court Bench was astonished at the fact that in Harlem on one Sunday there was no person brought before him for violation of the law, and his excuse or statement for that condition was that we had such a fine local Inspector of Police. 'That showed possibly one angle of it, but we who are familiar with the circumstances, with the causes, the natural causes, that bring about these things, know why there were none there. And it was not only on one Sunday we had none there but we have had a great decrease in the amount of violation of law, not only in Harlem but allover the City, particularly in those sections where the Righteous Government Platform is established'.

"Now if I should be selfish, I should start a preachment to end the Righteous Government Movement, because it means that soon I would not have a job. Also, these police officers standing around are permitted to be here tonight because we have proven that it is unnecessary that they should spend their time watching the streets of New York, so they could come in here and get some of the inspiration, and here they are."
